Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the staff's friendliness and the hotel's aesthetics, but there are recurring issues with water outages and parking costs. The hotel's central location is praised, but some guests feel the surrounding neighborhood is unsafe at night.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Beautiful and modern hotel aesthetics
- Water outages and poor handling of the situation
- Expensive parking costs and lack of self-parking options

It was a great stay will be coming back soon
- 2/5
Staff was friendly and helpful but the room was disappointing - the bedside lamps lacked the ability to be turned on, carpet was dirty. Watch your step if you approach the entrance of the hotel from the street as it is dark and certain curbs are not properly marked to alert you where they begin and end. I sustained a serious foot and knee injury stepping off one these unmarked curbs.

Asked to be moved to a different room, which the staff happily gave us. However the pipes were leaking under the bathroom sink which created a huge puddle on the floor. We were unable to move to a different room. Instead we had to wait for an engineer to come fix the pipes.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed this hotel. The only thing we were unhappy with was the room stayed a little bit too warm even with the AC turned to 65° the entire time the room seemed a little muggy and warm. I am sure though in a hotel that size it’s quite difficult to maintain all of the rooms. The beds were not very comfortable either.
- 3/5
The room from top was clean but definitely needs a better deep clean in the shower there was some mold in the corner also the staff was no help to explanation it's a pretty hotel but not to exited about bookinh ever again
- 1/5
The air conditioning in the room does not work. The pool is heated and feels like a bathtub.

- 5/5
Excellent stay, quiet room.
- 1/5
In addition, I found the staff to be unprofessional and unaccommodating during my stay. The parking fees were unexpectedly expensive, and the pull-up/entrance area appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I expected a much higher level of cleanliness, service, and comfort.

- 1/5
Properties great, comfortable rooms lots of amenities. Great restraunts, but you will be treated like dirt when you check in, at least that was my experience and several other people i spoke to at the conference I attended there spoke very poorly of their check in as well
- 5/5
I honestly loved my stay at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The building itself is incredible—the atrium is huge and the glass elevators make it such a cool experience. My room was clean, spacious, and the view was beautiful, especially at night. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location made everything super convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back!

The location. Having the HUB and center facilities made this stay worth while. We were in GA to attend the Skills USA conference for our son. The school selected this hotel so we booked there to ensure we could fly out together easily. They allowed us to check in approx 2 hrs ahead of when we originally told which was great after traveling all morning. 3 things. Entering our room, there was a written letter from a manager regarding someone’s experience with catering, I believe along with water and a box of nuts. We have no idea who this was and felt maybe the previous guest left it or it was placed in the wrong room. The room to our immediate right was EXTREMELY loud during conversations and closing of his cabinet doors, that it woke me up 3 different times. Idk if he was just a loud talker or whether the walls are thin- but I was hopeful we would have a quiet evening to allow us to catch up on sleep. The following morning- when showering- the body wash container was completely empty. That was a little annoying. So I used the hand bar soap left in the bathroom.

The hotel was lovely, as always.. valet could be a little faster but the wait wasn’t bad.
- 2/5
Poor customer service. Was 2 hours over checkin time having a room ready then tried to give me a double room when I had booked a king. Had to ask 3 times for a roll away bed. Asked for extra towels and wash clothes twice and never received them. Would not stay here again.
- 2/5
The hotel was great and the house keeping were attentive and sweet. The downside of my stay is I specifically booked a king size bet because me and my girlfriend have always loved going to hotels and getting a bigger bed than we already have. I arrived and the front desk lady was very rude and blunt. She told me that they have no king size and I’m going to have to get 2 full instead. I was confused because I booked weeks in advance and paid for a kind size room. She was very rude about it and just ignored anything I said.
- 3/5
We chose this hotel due to my daughter’s interest in the Hunger Games movies. The architecture and glass elevators make it a super cool first impression. I removed stars due to the outrageous parking prices ($67 per night), and the tiny, uncomfortable double beds. Those rooms are plenty big enough to upgrade to queen beds. Also, wow is the hallway carpet an EYE SORE! Word of warning, in that area most of the restaurants are closed on weekends.

People are really nice Room was really hot when we got there, the air wasn't working good and I tried texting and nobody answered, really poor comunication trough the app.
- 5/5
Overall pretty great. Rooms have an amazing room. Love the stores and starbucks in it so convenient. Pretty clean as well. Love the building.
- 4/5
Everything was great. My only criticism is that the ceiling in our room was peeling & hanging a bit above & to the left of the bed closest to the bathroom. I realize these things can happen, but it should be repaired. Other than this minor thing, everything was great 👍.
- 5/5
We opted to not park on-site. $67 is extreme for overnight parking where you're paying to stay overnight.
- 2/5
the view staff was rude, booked month in advance then they tried to tell me first come first serve for my rooms. one room had faulty coffee machine and started a small fire. its so outdated inside and ugly the only thing nice was being on the 27 floor and looking out the window. my tv was dim could barely see anything and so slow its like they never updated anything since 2002
- 4.5/5
Everything was clean, staff was friendly and the location was excellent. The fire alarm battery was low and it brief all night. If it wasn't for that it would have 10 all across the board.
- 5/5
Everything's but my room My room air was not flowing out blowing properly. Called for maintenance. Guy came up very nasty disposition and did not want to hear what we felt or what was truly going on. He replied and I quote, "it feels better than alot of the other rooms ". This told me that this was a problem and that you were not interested in fixing it. That was not necessary nor did it serve purpose for the need of the air condition not working properly. This is my FAVORITE place to stay and first disposition or concern that raised a concern to possibly look for other places to stay.
- 3.5/5
It was close to my event and the restaurants inside The rooms did not have microwave inside and no free WiFi
- 4/5
Very nice Jr Suite Dinner at Sear did not have the braised ribs made reservations for Marquis for that particular reason Valet parking attendant damaged car by letting and leaving window down om the driver side. No reason to mess with any buttons - why he pushed the button and let window down no explanation. We discovered he had let the window down when the vehicle was returned. Had to drive back to South Carolina getting rained on.
- 5/5
The view out of my window of the whole city All that was wrong for me was it was hot in the hotel room and I had the air down to 65 and didn’t feel like 65
- 2.5/5
Lots of amenities Hidden fees every where you go, from valet only parking at 70$ a night to 18 dollars a night to use the WiFi.
- 5/5
Loved the hotel and its close proximity to many things. Loved the amenities offered on-site. I didn't catch the valet that helped with check-in but he was great and definitely has the personality for people and customer service. Crystal at the check-in desk was absolutely great also! She embraced the pure craziness between my mother and my shenanigans!! Totally would come back to stay!

- 4/5
Parking was a nightmare! Valet was full. Pick up and drop off was very unorganized. Especially with an apparent "gaming" convention close by. Parking next door at Truist took 30 minutes to find the entrance as there are only one way streets all around. 2nd floor view was a concrete wall! Thankfully they moved us up to the 21st after asking. Pool was very large and very nice! Probably the only reason to go back for me. Hot tub only holds 4 people.
- 2/5
Yikes!! This was not the Marriott Marquis experience I expected. The room looked nice on the surface, but housekeeping only came to my room twice in 5 days. The "clean" towels were musty and smelled like mildew. The staff at the front desk were a bit rude. The room service comes in cardboard boxes in a paper bag. I was there for Memorial Day weekend and the pool bar never opened. The pool area had trash and food around and the rugs in the cabanas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The pool itself was nice, but again the towels smelled like mildew. The location was convenient and the in room tv was great....everything else could use some special attention.
- 5/5
Rom very clean, every body very friendly
- 5/5
Everyone at the front desk was more than pleasant. Upon check-in I was greeted formally and respectfully, as well as immediately feeling as if I belonged. The breakfast buffet that I annihilated every morning was super delicious and all the staff at Sears were amazing. Room was super cool and they took care of us when the boil water advisory took everyone by surprise.
- 5/5
This was such a wonderful way to celebrate our 42nd anniversary! The Marriott Marquis Atlanta had a wonderful view of the city and restaurants and museums were within walking distance. The staff members were very visible and they were all very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in April, and my experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I stepped into the stunning atrium lobby with its soaring architecture, I felt welcomed and impressed. The design is truly iconic, offering a perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort. The staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and every team member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and a breathtaking view of downtown Atlanta. The amenities were top-notch; especially the indoor/outdoor pool and the well-equipped fitness center. Although I didn’t get to dine there, I would have loved to experience the delicious meals and attentive service that I heard make every experience delightful. The location is perfect, placing you right in the heart of the city with easy access to many attractions and restaurants. Overall, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis exceeded all my expectations. It was the perfect location for my trip, as I came to Atlanta for a wedding in Midtown. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Atlanta. I can’t wait to return!

The room view was great. The beds was too low but I was able to manage. My husband had discomfort because he's a tall man with back problems and the bed was very low for him. I also encounter a situation where the desk clerk assign me the wrong room and had to go back down to get a new key. The check in line too a long time.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
The property is beautiful and has so much potential. I did enjoy my stay. I lived the fact that there were restaurants on the property, especially Starbucks. I feel that they could have done a lot more in terms of keeping the property clean. I had a spill stain on my floor. The hallways and elevators needed cleaned, and the pool area was littered either old used and abandoned towels. Additionally, the bar area was closed in the pool area. The location is convenient. Walkable to the aquarium. There are also many eateries nearby.
- 4/5
Can say our tub would full up with water as we took our shower. Bathroom kinda had a smell Not sure if it was mop water or what and the carpet had stain on it. Deep clean the carpet and different floor cleaning maybe with bleach to clean the bathroom. Now this could have just been this room. But overall it’s worth the money.

Was told by front desk they couldn’t sell water to me until midnight. It was 11:45pm. Made me go up stairs to my room and request room service. They never came.
- 2/5
This hotel is need of upgrades. The toilet when flushed makes a continuous noise that was annoying. The elevator was shaky and the button to request the elevator was broken. Kevin at the spa talked too much during the massage. He rushed through the massage. He didn't massage my feet. Although I appreciated the hot towels on my back. The steam room was dirty. It was also rusty in several areas. No complimentary water nor snacks were available nor offered to prior to the massage. Cars can be heard from outside revving up their engines and horns blowing. Extremely annoying to the point we could not relax during the massage.
- 4/5
The Spa was not clean. The service was rushed. Hotel was okay but I have experienced better in the past.

One of the nicest establishments I’ve ever stayed. I would recommend staff advising guests that keys are needed to go up to the elevator and into the pool to avoid frustration.

- 4/5
The property was great, staff was very perfessional. Property was beautiful inside and out. The only downside was the restaurant, bar, and store was a lil expensive. The prices were not reasonable at all. They were triple the prices , but when traveling it's ti be expected. Overall I would stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, the only thing I can think about is the towels, it had a weird smell on it.
- 2/5
The television didn't work and we were never able to connect to the internet; they never came to fix the problem.
- 5/5
Everything was great except parking. I wasn’t thrilled about the wait but those guys did a great job keeping things going with the influx of guest showing up at once
- 3.5/5
The location and swimming pool. Cleanliness was disappointing. They clearly don’t change the sheets, there were several strands of someone else’s hair, food crumbs on the bed, and the carpet looked visibly dirty, as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. The coffee machine in the room was also missing parts, so it wasn’t possible to make the complimentary coffee. I tried to complain at the reception, but the line was very long and I didn’t want to wait. Fortunately, there is a Starbucks store in the lobby.

Long queue for check in, room was modern and nice however there was food left in the fridge from the previous guest and a used Elastoplast in the bin with old room cards. We stayed as visiting the State Farm Arena which is a 20 minute walk away.

Our Ac was not working they came to repair left roof tile off with plumbing all out also our room was never cleaned we had to just catch the housekeeper and take them our trash we would give them our dirty towels I was charged for them but they all remained in room our last night they also double charged me for parking when I arrived a day later than I was supposed to the front desk said there was 2 charges for the same day but they’re different companies it was not it this time

The location was centralized to our needs. I found it off putting that guests are allowed to eat a meal in the vicinity of the pool and hot tub. We went to the pool to enjoy a soak in the hot tub and a younger individual was actually eating a burger in the hot tub. I found this to be unsanitary and overall unappealing

Marquis is just classy! Its beautiful architecture, lighting, artwork and amazing staff create the perfect ambiance. They were able to accommodate me for a handicap room. The room was very clean and offered exceptional food. Buy the breakfast package you won’t be disappointed. Our server at breakfast Hamel was so wonderful, kind and gracious. If you go to Atlanta be prepared to come with a good attitude of kindness and respect. All the employees work so diligently to make your stay the best it can be. There were multiple events happening downtown with two concerts and a prom. It was really fun to all the young ladies and gents dressed up. The parking! I can’t even state how annoying it was that the price of parking wasn’t included in our stay. At $67 a day that’s hefty. They should factor that into all the metropolitan hotels so we didn’t have to worry about that. Smoking was relegated to a small alley and for the price no smoker should be sequestered like a misbehaving child. The weekend we went was also in conjunction with two concerts and a prom. So it was very peopley but they did the best they could

Shower & Bed The fact that it was a ridiculous line at the front desk with just 2 employees checking people in. Was offered the 'opportunity' to check-in ahead of time, but the booking .com reservation and Bonvoy did not speak to each other. Ice machines on my floor were both broken. No vending at all on the floors. The halls were littered with laundry bags at all hours. Stark walls with no ambience.

Tengan cuidado con los del parqueo me robaron mis pertenencias listos

This hotel had great amenities that I found on my own. Upon checking in the staff told me nothing about restaurants & shopping on location. I Ubered wasting money to go buy food when I had it right there. My tv streaming stopped working I requested assistance from the automated system provided no one showed. The a/c stopped cooling reported to automated response no 1 showed. Called front desk on 2nd night they wanted to change room that I was checking out of in 6 hours. Hotel service was terrible, maintenance terrible, staff not helpful & carpet throughout stinks....
- 5/5
Didn’t eat there
- 5/5
Large, clean, comfortable room, refreshed daily. Loved the pool, plenty of clean towels and it was quiet which I liked. Bars, restaurants and shop all good with friendly staff. Spoke to several reception staff and each one was friendly and helpful. The reception, lobby and atrium level are all lovely areas. I did feel that the corridor from the lifts to the rooms were a bit like prison landings but once inside your room everything was good. Would definitely use the hotel again if visiting Atlanta. The only downside for me personally is that I would have preferred the option to use cash and this is a cashless hotel but that said most of Atlanta seems to be cashless.
- 1/5
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location after and game and even though we made a reservation our room was given away. This time we were offered 2 full beds instead of the king beds we reserved, when I declined and asked for the reservation to just be cancelled he went to the back and “found more rooms”
- 2.5/5
They had multiple events going on. The staff was stretched thin. There was no valet parking or anyone to help unload. The beds were not Marriott beds! The beds were hard and not comfortable!
- 4/5
Staff was helpful with questions and very nice to work with!
- 1/5
One thing. NY.
- 1/5
Check in over 45 minutes, room smelled like mildew, assigned me the wrong room. Loud teenage children wandering around unattended. This was 2 stars at best.
- 5/5
47 stunning floors and great shops. It is also near the amazing Metro Diner if ever needed to grab dinner/breakfast. 24 hours of goodness. The staff are very kind and helpful. I wish I was able to stay longer to see a full glimpse of the hotel and all the services within it.
- 5/5
Close to everything. Very pretty inside.
- 3/5
Unique hotel design and quiet room. Room did show some age but was very comfortable. Biggest issue with this hotel is parking, or lack thereof. There is no onsite parking, only valet. There are public garages the block before and after. The real issue with the lack of parking was the insane traffic situation it creates on the road.
- 5/5
Perfect location! Closs to aquarium, World of Coca Cola, Children's Museum, and Centennial Park. Spacious room with a great city view. Concierge desk very friendly!
- 5/5
nice
- 2/5
No free WiFi. They were going to charge $14.95 PER DAY for WiFi access. Not OK in this day and age. Room was fine but found hair in tub and a dirty towel folded up inside a clean one. Yuck. Many areas of carpeting throughout the hallways were in need of a good cleaning. Did not visit the main restaurant but cafe areas had very long lines for breakfast. Not enough seating areas for those wanting to eat their cafe selections
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly. The room was nice size and clean. The hotel is close to a lot key areas downtown Atlanta. Enjoyed our quick stay.
- 4/5
Key cards were constant nuisance. Hard to get the elevators active so you could select your floor. Hard to get into rooms. People were phenomenal place was outstanding.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Very clean hotel in the heart of downtown, nice hotel bars as well
- 4/5
Was a fun experience. The property and architecture were great. Room was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. Advice for future travelers, understand that it is down town and food is plentiful but with down town prices. I recommend Gus’ fried chicken across the street!
- 1/5
Be prepared to pay way more than they tell you. They charged me for a deposit. Told me they would take the valet fee out of my deposit. They did NOT! (They make you pay for valet or find your own paid parking elsewhere) Then we check out and they charge me $72 for valet services. Was supposed to be $67 but because I had a bigger vehicle they charged more. Talked to front manager and she says she will have the money reimbursed within 24 hours hopefully. Overall spent $400 in the hotel alone. The room itself was great other than a previous guests belongings in the refrigerator which tells me they did the most basic cleaning. NEVER AGAIN!
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
Wish the breakfast was free
- 5/5
Loved having restaurants in building. Room was nice and clean. Bed was too hard for my personal liking, but pillows were nice and soft sheets. I wish there was more affordable parking offered at hotel.
- 5/5
Very clean and so many options for drinks & dining within the hotel. Breakfast buffet included in our stay was very nice. Lots of fresh and delicious options. Every staff never member we encountered were so kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The Staff.
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful and it has everything you need inside. Restaurants, Bar, Starbucks.
- 4/5
Gym is nice. It has a mini fridge but Room needs a microwave.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
Room could have been better stocked and more modernized. For the price of the hotel it felt like a motel.
- 4/5
Ordered food one night burgers and wings, instead I just got two burgers
- 5/5
Excellent costumer service
- 3/5
Beautiful building
- 5/5
Great location and central to places we wanted to go to.
- 2/5
The property was clean and it was very big. The atrium was very cool. It had a Starbucks which my wife and I never got the chance to use because 5000 (literally) teenagers were staying at this hotel. Oh the water pressure in the shower was nice. There was also a bell hop that was very nice. His name was “Rich”. He was very helpful. Oh here we go… where to begin?? My wife and I simply wanted a night out .. away from kids. To relax. Took a 30 min phone call before we got there to make sure our room had a bathtub (my wife prefers). The staff couldn’t find our booking.com reservation and when they finally figured it out, no bathtub. So we get there and charter buses galore are there. Takes us 15 min just to pull out car up to valet. We walk inside and KIDS EVERYWHERE. I can’t even find the line to get in to get our room key. I finally figure out that the line is about 100 people long stretching to the back of the hotel. We are not part of this group, mind you .. we are just trying to have a night away from home. My wife then says she hears that if we have the Marriott app, we can register online and get an electronic key on our phone. NOPE… not if we booked through Booking.com (or any other third party). So we are stuck in line with all of these DECA (whatever that means) kids and their whiny parents. My wife felt she needed to go bring me a beer from the bar to cool me down while I waited. The beer was good, I will say that. I finally get up to the desk and the young man “Que” was very nice but his computer malfunctions and I stand AT THE DESK for 15 min while a mgr has to come over and we try my card 3 times. Finally they switch computers and it works…. Amazing. While I am standing there, another “regular customer” asks the desk clerk if she could get a voucher or something for the massive inconvenience regular customers were put through… free drink at the bar… late checkout … something? NOPE… “if we do that for you, ma’am, we have to do that for everyone”. Dumbest comment I’ve ever heard from a business who caused regular guests to wait in line just to get their room key … for 1 hour and 45 minutes. No that is not a typo. Here is what is really messed up.
- 3.5/5
Good location. Right downtown, in walking distance from everything. Really nice hotel, busy, but nice. Being right in the middle of downtown means you hear all the noises of a big city. Right by a club and with it being Saturday night. Also, no hot water. Not something I thought a 4 star hotel would lack.
- 5/5
It was busy and I would have preferred it to be a more calm weekend but everything was wonderful
- 1.5/5
Room was decent They lied about the location being close to the stadium and had to wait almost 2 hours on a room not worth the money at all
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious!
- 1/5
The hotel was very crowded and hard to navigate throughout the common areas. Extra-long waits for the elevators. The staff was very rude and seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, given the volume of guests. Our room keypad was malfunctioning, and we got locked out every time we left the room. Due to the large number of guests, we had to wait 20-30 minutes each time to get into our room. We were not provided the complimentary three-hour parking as listed on the website and had to carry our luggage two blocks to the hotel. The room was clean for the most part, but we found pills on the bathroom floor and in different areas of the room. I would not be staying at this property in the future, as our family vacation wasn't the best due to this hotel, and we were delayed and late for events because we had to stand in line for an extended period to gain access to our room.
- 5/5
Food was great service was even better
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. I don’t ever get breakfast because I have to check out at 11 and I always get in late.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. I didn't care for the older rooms and carpet. Could be updated.
- 5/5
Cleanliness The valet parking price
- 5/5
The room and hotel was clean. Fairly quiet it was busy weekend with prom and Cardi B in town made for great people watching in the lobby. Staff was nice and accommodating I would stay again. We were there for a hairshow right up the street. Didn’t need to use a car much everything was in walking distance. Loved it
- 4/5
It was nice. I liked the staff but it is always a long line to check in. The staff was helpful. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. The salmon was a tad dry but they gave me a big glass of wine! My room was great. My only thing is I am scared of heights and the hotel as you can see is all about heights. Luckily the staff placed me on a lower floor. Still scared but at least I wasn’t all the way up. I would stay again.
- 4/5
good location , staff was friendly, hallways was dirty and smelled bad. good price
- 5/5
Location was the highlight for me
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway.
- 5/5
Beautiful room with city lights view
- 5/5
The view. The stores and amenities on site. A little older and worn. Not everything looked cleanly.
- 5/5
Great location. Wonderful staff
- 3/5
My overall stay was not bad. I was a little disappointed, due to booking a King room, but when I checked in they only had a double. After stating I booked a king, they advised a standard room is a king or double and I could receive either. After that battle they put me in an accessible room, only to find a large waterbug/roach in there. I then had to pack my belongings, and they found another room for me to exchange into the following day. The staff was nice and did what they could do.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful hotel with amazing staff and great rooms!
- 4/5
The staff was nice. I had an issue with my key and they corrected it right away. The only problem was my food was cold at the restaurant.
- 5/5
I would definitely stay here again 10/10 will recommend
- 5/5
I entered the hotel from The Hub and had a little issue finding registration on the Lower level.
- 3.5/5
Great Having towels available when I asked and not be put on a waiting list
- 5/5
No microwave in the room. Valet was backed up with getting vehicles.
- 5/5
Everything, great location, plenty amenities, restaurants walking distance, plenty amenities. It was just overall a great experience highly recommend. N/A
- 2.5/5
parking
- 3.5/5
Bed and pillows are comfortable, bedding is good quality. Coffee in the room is good too. The TV interface is great, you can easily connect a device and link Netflix account. No water bottles in the room, you can only request up to 2 and they're small. The room feels dark, if you need to use the desk and work, there is not enough light. Ice machine was broken.
- 2/5
Toilet overflowed 2× and they didn't know why! Loud sound when flushing and when my son went to sports area to workout he got locked in bathroom and I had to call security to let him out. Over all it was just horrible!
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, excellent location, will stay AGAIN!
- 5/5
If you don’t wanna be spoiled, don’t go to this hotel if you don’t want to have an amazing dining experience don’t even bother entering the door. If you do not want to feel like you’re the most important person in the hotel every time you’re greeted by a staff member check another location if you have no interest in getting the best top-of-the-line massages and pedicures to relax and unwind from your work trip seek another lodging.
- 5/5
Nice hotel no complaints
- 5/5
Great! Staff were truly awesome
- 5/5
Cleanings Nothing
- 4/5
Everything except the conditioner was empty Booking made check in a nightmare. Will use property website from now on
- 5/5
Great hotel to stay in. I can’t wait to go back!
- 5/5
This is a gorgeous hotel and the staff is amazing. Only thing I would note is that house cleaning didn’t come to set the beds are provided clean towels. I understand this due to the size of the property. This hotel is a one stop shop with everything you need in one place. Pool is gorgeous, gym is clean, and food is great too.

Room needs to be updated and management wasn’t great
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 4/5
Overall stay was good. Location was excellent walking distance to a lot of great restaurants downtown and not far from the state farm arena!
- 5/5
Great location. Beautiful hotel with clean
- 4/5
Location and layout Expensive, valet parking
- 5/5
Wasn't able to stay longer ?
- 5/5
Beautiful and well maintained
- 5/5
Great location… The room was amazing. The bed was soft. The pillows were perfect.
- 5/5
This hotel met all my expectations!! Room was very clean, nice skyline view, and great customer service. Also, they have excellent restaurants!
- 4/5
No one was able to clean our room all three nights as by the time they came to our room, it was 8pm at night. That was very disappointing. On top of that, we had a "Privacy Please" door hanger on our door and the cleaning staff still knocked on the door. That was extremely discouraging.
- 1/5
Customer service was terrible an frankly unacceptable wasn’t my best experience
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a nice view.
- 5/5
Absolutely No complaints. Fantastic place.
- 5/5
Nice.
- 5/5
The hotel and staff was absolutely amazing
- 1/5
My bed sheets got blood stains on it no body answering the phone at guest services.
- 5/5
Inexpensive and great location
- 5/5
Great staff and relaxing stay!
- 0.5/5
I originally booked a king room and was given a double room. When I asked can I refund the 2nd night they declined and said they can’t grant me a refund even though they failed to disclose that they didn’t have any kings available.
- 5/5
I loved everything
- 1.5/5
Just the location Room smells bad, was not clean sheets had hair and stains on it. Move us to another room which was a suite and furniture was out dated floor was not cleaned either with a single bed.
- 1/5
I was charged the incidence fee and for three nights. I immediately said you’re charging me twice. I was very upset because now the charges had to stay on my card until I was checking out. I couldn’t make any purchases the entire trip. The incidence fee was $150 and the stay charge $717.72. And to top that off, the rooms are very dark all the lamps had small to no bulbs. I opened the curtains for light and my view was a concrete wall with hardly any light. Rm 234 I will never stay no more!!
- 5/5
I tried to add a guest but I couldn’t get a customer service though Hotel.com I think they need add a customer service number.
- 5/5
Spotless room, friendly staff, entertainment
- 4/5
Staff was great. Amenities were nice .
- 1/5
We had adjoining rooms for the weekend and room 1737 has mold all over the carpet and the floor in the room was soaked near the adjoining door. It took staff over 3hours to find us another adjoining room to accommodate us and after me further inspecting I found what appeared to be a previous guest underwear and socks behind the curtains in the room! This was absolutely disgusting and deplorable. This ruined my daughter’s 13th birthday party experience! I expect way from Marriott this hotel has gone down to the pits!
- 2/5
Worst beds in a hotel ever. Felt like sleeping on a box spring that was broken in half. The sink handle broke off in my hand when I turned on the faucet and you can tell they just glued it back on, didn't actually replace it. It'll probably break on the next guest as it was pretty wobbly still. Wifi is only free if you book directly through the hotel, even if you are a rewards member. Unfortunately even though movies are filmed in this location, it doesn't hold up to the Marriott brand.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
Staff were very kind & paid attention to detail. Uncomfortable mattresses were a complaint amongst the other guests I spoke to within my group.
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff
- 5/5

It was great! The staff is warm, welcoming, and professional. The room was very clean and spacious. I'd stay there again.

- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Lovely views
- 5/5
Easy check in great place!
- 5/5
Staff friendly
- 3/5
Very overpriced for a hotel in desperate need of some updates. None of the ice makers worked. No seating in the room except for the bed and the desk chair. We were charged $50 for a meal in a restaurant we never went to (refund is coming, supposedly). With so many options in that area, we’ll go somewhere else next time.
- 5/5
Very clean. Always a good stay
- 4/5
Clean room, great hotel. Was an inconvenience that the restaurants were closed for a convention, but very nice hotel
- 5/5
Huge hotel. There were several places to eat & get drinks. The hotel was in a good location. So many good things about this hotel.
- 5/5
Very amazing and easygoing staff always a smiling face on them
- 5/5
Love everything about it will be back 💙💙
- 5/5
Everything about this stay made me feel safe and taken care of. Travelling alone it was important to make sure I was.
- 5/5
Yes
- 1/5
Staff support was short with the parking it was so unorganized and it seemed like it was only 2 workers at all times that’s not cool
- 3/5
The hotel service was good. The valet service that’s $72 was trash. Take forever to get your car and that’s if you get it. One night I couldn’t. Waited a hour then they said give 5 minutes. And I finally just walked to where I wanted to go and came back and the car had never came.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Although this situation was not related to the hotel or its services, Camille Taylor and the manager on duty were extremely caring and courteous. Camille even used her personal phone to contact Uber support and help connect with the driver. I was very panicked and upset over my mistake, and both of them were kind, patient, and helped keep me calm during the situation. Thank you so much for the exceptional care shown. The hotel is truly lucky to have Camille as an employee.
- 5/5
I’ll be coming back I loved da stay it was wonderful everything was just perfect
- 1/5
Terrible parking unless you are willing to pay a ridiculous amount for valet
- 3/5
Cleanliness of the room could have been better, but overall room was sufficient

Information on Expedia doesn’t match the hotel website. Be careful, all spa and pool facilities are not available.
- 5/5
The entire staff is the star of this hotel! The hotel is very old and showing its age, but every member of the staff was top notch! My room was not clean
- 3/5
Bedding not so much. OMG! The bed killed my back. 😢
- 5/5
Clean & beautiful resort style!

Everything was great. The management was attentive, the staff were pleasant and personable.
- 4/5
The architecture is a great feature. Additionally the food in the restaurant was very well prepared and tasty! Consistently!
- 2/5
They had a false fire alarm which only showed everyone they are disorganized on how to communicate with their guests during a false alarm only giving me reservation that if in fact there was a fire forget it.
- 5/5
friendly staff
- 3/5
the room was not what i expected compared to the rooms advertised on the site. I was very disappointed. the staff was friendly.
- 3/5
I enjoyed my week long stay here at the Marriott the one thing I wish could’ve been handled better is upon my arrival, I wish someone from the from the front desk staff reminded me that the pool was closed throughout my stay for maintenance purposes. Also a Stephone from the front desk could’ve been a little more courteous with checking for other alternatives from neighbouring hotels that was in the network with the marquis instead of just tell me to call around to see if the would allow access to their pool, I find that to be a little tacky.
- 5/5
The room was great and everyone was very nice.
- 5/5
Nice hotel.
- 5/5
Exceeded excellence in service! As a momma nervous to travel with her son with very specific dietary restrictions, I did some research and discovered they did indeed have Gluten free options on some of the menus in the hotel. Longest story short, the staff and chefs from Sear were tremendously accommodating with my sons needs, making him special hash browns without seed oils, reviewing his restrictions and asking if there was anything else they cooks provide for him the next morning:) The lady in the gift shop and the staff at Starbucks helped us get a brand of chips from Starbucks after hours that they do not carry in the gift shop next door, but were the only ones he could have.. all of these little things were so huge for this momma. The hotel is stunning, we will definitely be back!
- 5/5
It was awesome
- 5/5
Everything was amazing from the staff to the food and location! The only thing I was sad about is the pool was down for maintenance.
- 5/5
I was very grateful for the early & very efficient. Hotel was beautiful, room spotless & a great location 2 blocks for the MARTA stop. Would definitely recommend.

My stay at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis was outstanding. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the staff was courteous and accommodating, and the amenities were exceptional. Than they moved me to a new room than the heat was not work.

Everything was PERFECT!!
- 5/5
The room needs upgrade, early check-in was perfect. And the view to the skyline deserves all!

I loved everything, it was perfect. The only downside is that I arrived with my grandson and had to pay WiFi, and there are no restaurants, only coffee, and you have to pay for breakfast everything pay separately.

Nice location and building, but not clean room

Pictures are deceiving. Room

Great area

Clean room, kind and friendly staff!! An added plus was the beautiful architecture of the building itself

The room was ideal for little people, Hugh cockroach or water bug in bathroom, ordered food from SEARS restaurant - salmon, overcooked, rice and veggies were so salty, staff at front desk not welcoming. People at valet were very friendly. The entire hotel looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Will never stay here again.

Yes, the sky view was amazing. Staff, amenities, room was awesome.
- 3/5
Finally get to the room, the TV doesn’t work, nobody acts like it matters and there’s nothing they can do. Try to go swimming, in the pool, it’s closed my entire stay, no previous statement of that or any heads up. Carpets were stained. Elevators were sketchy.. The only thing saving this rating is the Starbucks at the location. They were very nice and had extremely quick service to have such long lines. For the amount I paid, I truly expected better. Will not be staying here again.

Clean room, great staff.

I would rate this hotel a 4.5. The rooms were very clean and nicely adorned, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel representatives went out of their way to make me feel welcome and happily attended to any of my needs. The hotel structure and design were fascinating! I highly recommend staying here!

While there were a few issues at check in, they made it up to us and gave us a suite along with a discount to the restaurants. It was a great stay.

When we got there the pool was closed down from something they found the day before. No worries things happen, but I mentioned that was a deciding factor in my stay since I have kids. Just sorry, no accommodation. Told them we were leaving for Savannah the day of so they wouldn't think we weren't coming back and we would be back the next night. Again had to ask for service. We left some items in the room(food, face products, water) came back and they were gone. There was nothing worth double price. When explaining all that occurred at the end, just a sorry. Doubletree was there to clean our room at 9am. They charge $45 versus $65 a night. The tv was crystal clear. The beds were queens and bedding went to the sides of the beds with no stains. At $110 a night and last minute booking.

The rooms were clean and staff was nice

The interior mechanical was noisy and didn't seem to have an eco option. The remore control did not work and the internet was slow at times. There was no firm pillow , only lumpy soft ones. But the hot water was plentiful and the interior design was nice, plus the desk area was very helpful. I did however find few power plug options and their circuit power was slow.

Everything was great

On the positive side, the staff who delivered extra pillows and blankets, as well as the bellman who helped with my bags, were kind, professional, and genuinely pleasant — a real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, the front desk representative clearly did not want to be helpful. Even after being extremely patient, I finally had to ask to speak with her manager, and only then — after some delay — did she return and resolve my issue. It was like pulling teeth to get even basic assistance. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the rest of the staff demonstrated the warmth and professionalism I’ve come to expect from Atlanta hospitality. Especially as a Silver Elite Bonvoy member.

Would stay there again.

There was a problem with elevator 3 that operated floors 1-15 if I’m not mistaken. When going up it would drop down some once it got to floor 7, sit there for about 10 sec and then continue on. I and other guess notified the front desk on several occasions and the elevator was still in operation for my duration. The staff seem to have no urgency in the matter.

Staff was very friendly and nice

The hotel is a landmark! Besides the architecture, the other truly extraordinary thing about this property is that you have to pay for wifi. Who does that? McDonald's has free wifi. Staff were fine. The room was nice. The view was spectacular. It's affordable. A solid pick.

The service was excellent and accommodating
