Great place to stay and area to walk to the main attractions near Centennial Park!
- 3.5/5
Its location was not bad. There was no breakfast and the items they had to purchase were way over priced. Two blocks up the street is a very good breakfast place. There is no call button on the back pad to have someone buzz the door open. The staff did not know about MARTA and how it works.

It was loud. From the noises outside to the noises inside. Overall I will say it was a decent spot to stay. The parking per day was highly overpriced with that being one night there wasn’t even any available. It was clean and nice. We didn’t have a microwave and there was no kurig as was listed. The location for the event was 10/10 so I say-Overall 3.9 out of 5. Honest reviewer
- 4.5/5
the staff was really friendly and helpful. the only thing i found off was the layout of the room with the sink and shower so close to the door in a way that, if someone were at the door and other guest is in the shower or toilet location or maybe a door to the sink would be best. Also no overhead lighting in the main space.

I love Alofts but this one was just a little dated.

Niza and Sinatria were excellent and deserves monetary credit. The staff didn't check the sheets before changing the linen. There were visible stains on the sheets and comforter, which I only noticed the next after I slept in them. Also I was told several times that certain items were out of stock ... half & half , Cesar dressing for salad and a few other things. Also no microwave in room.

Rating: 3/5 Stars I have mixed feelings about my recent stay at the Aloft Downtown. While the service was top-tier, the physical state of the property left a lot to be desired. The Standout: The Staff I want to be very clear: the staff members were amazing. They were incredibly attentive and professional throughout my stay. It was obvious they were working hard to provide a great experience, and any shortcomings with the hotel were definitely not a reflection of their effort. The Experience: Unfortunately, the facility itself struggled to meet a 4-star standard: Maintenance & Cleanliness: There was noticeable trash on the elevator floor during my visit, which wasn't a great first impression. Amenities: I booked a "breakfast included" rate, but the food was fairly underwhelming and not something I’d go out of my way for again. Operational Issues: The hotel actually ran out of physical room keys, which was a significant inconvenience. Business Center: This was the most disappointing part—the business center was completely unusable as it was piled high with boxes. Final Verdict: The staff is doing the heavy lifting here, but the management needs to address the "behind the scenes" logistics and upkeep. It currently feels more like a basic 3-star property than the premium experience advertised. Great people, but the hotel itself needs a little TLC.

Staff at the front desk were kind and friendly and always acknowledged when I walked in/out. The Aloft was minutes away from the tourist attractions. The room was clean. I will stay there again in a return trip to Atlanta.
- 5/5
Was a very clean and comfortable hotel, great location.
- 5/5
was real nice and explained all the amenities. The rooms were nice. I think there was an issue with the AC as it did not get cold enough in the room but that could have been user error as well. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay here again
- 4/5
The breakfast system was very weird. You would pay for breakfast thinking that it would be continental breakfast but you would have a credit to choose what you would like to eat within the price that you paid for breakfast. Like having 30 dollars per couple to send on breakfast. We could get 3 breakfast sandwiches and a drink. If you are thinking that it is unlimited food, that is not for you. Also the food was very tasty, but I defined missed eggs and bacon. They only had sandwiches. The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate everything. The lighting in the room was very odd, it would only have side lights so to look for something in the luggage was very hard. The tv was very old so it did not have any streaming or air play. The ac was definitely a problem, very loud and the it would be blasting whenever it was on and the room would get super hot when it went off. We could also hear lots of noise during the night, people walking down the hall and noise from the other rooms. Location was very good, very walkable everywhere. The pool was closed, in which they could’ve posted on the Expedia, would have been nice to know before booking but it seems like it had a good outside space.

Air conditioner was broke upon arrival however it was fixed right away. I was charged for an extra night of parking as well.

Had to go to front desk to ask for new towels each day. Breakfast options were poor. With 3 of the options sold out during my entire stay. Lines were long in the morning …having to wait to place breakfast order because customer representative were taking care of customers at front desk. May want to have more staff present during breakfast hours and peak hours. The attendant that did come to help wasn’t able to speak English.

They do not have a complimentary breakfast. Rooms a little run down. Definitely not worth almost 1100 for four nights. Housekeeping came one day. Didn’t come the next.
- 3/5
Friendly staff, rooms are in desperate need of a makeover, housekeeping was terribly loud in the hallways bright and early every morning, property location is iffy depending on which direction you decide to walk. Was expecting more all around.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 3/5
The sheets had stains on them. Smaller frustrations include the lack of somewhere to hand a hand towel near the sink, and the air conditioner fan being either high or off (so throughout the night we would get warm and remove covers, just for the AC to turn on and blast us with very cold air).
- 3/5
room was not clean enough and whenever we was in a yard, someone approached us and asked something.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. We were in town to visit the aquarium and coke museum. They told us we should purchase the tickets to the aquarium from the hotel for a discounted rate of $55. Which this rate was the price of the ticket at the aquarium anyways… there was no discounted rate. The rooms were outdated and dingy- dust in a lot of spots and the carpets felt dirty. The fire alarm went off at 4 am ordering everyone to evacuate immediately and use the stairs… we all rush downstairs for it to be a false alarm. This was super inconvenient especially since we are traveling with a 6 month old. Also the alarms in the rooms seem to be programmed to go off at 3 am. Mine and a family members room both did this and it was also super annoying. Other than those things the hotel is walkable to the exhibits so that is a plus.
- 2/5
The stay at the hotel did not start off well. I arrive at 4:30 expecting that my room would be ready but it wasn't and had to sit in the lobby until 5:30 when a room was ready. Even though the desk agents said to check in about every 15 minutes, they clearly did not mean it by their attitude when you did. When the room finally was available the desk agent could hardly speak up about the level of noise to hear what they were saying as well as rarely made eye contact. I have never had this experience at other Alofts, so this was a complete surprise. The check out wasn't much different when I asked for a zero balance receipt since it is needed for a work trip, basically it seemed that no one working there really cares expect to talk with each other.

The bar had a great selection, but should have more food options.

Great Atlanta Market Motel! The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Mikki went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice trip. We really appreciated her kindness.
- 3/5
Paid more than 200 per night, there was no breakfast, pool was not working. Overall hotel was okay but felt this was not the best option. Could have stayed in a different hotel with morning breakfast for a lower rate
- 5/5
Great staff and clean rooms
- 3/5
While we understand that occasional delays can happen, there was no offer any form of accommodation while we waited. This made the experience feel even more disappointing. The hotel itself has a modern and appealing atmosphere, but timely room readiness and better customer service during delays are essential. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the check-in experience for future guests.

- 3/5
Pet-friendly for sure. The carpets in the room we had could use replacing, as it was coming up near the bathroom. No microwave in our room either, the telephone did not work, and the electrical outlet didn't work. The main thing that threw me off was having to pay for parking at a hotel that you pay to stay in already, and to pay $32 each day is crazy. I could understand a charge for the length of stay, but not each day. You can do better.

OGWA has been so helpful in every way. She so happens to be there every time I have some inquiries and needed assistance, all the front desk personnel are nice. I only got disturbed by other guest, those young people whenever they go to their room they were so loud and wakes me up, mostly closed to midnight and pass midnight specially during my last night, then I learned they were checking out the same day I was. The rest of my stay I can say is good! Looking forward in my next trip to Atlanta.
- 4/5

The staff. I’ve stay here when we go to Falcons and Hawks games. The staff at the Aloft maybe the friendliest of any hotel I ever stayed at. These fine folks are true professionals. Shout out to Marcia at the front desk on my last stay!
- 5/5
The location was also a big plus because it’s close to a lot of things in downtown Atlanta, so it was easy to get around. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything, which made the stay even better. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely consider coming back the next time I’m in Atlanta. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Despite staying only three days, I was charged for the full four-day stay, including parking. I have been trying to resolve this matter but have had significant difficulty obtaining any type of refund. I do have written documentation from the hotel confirming that room service would no longer be provided due to staffing shortages and the approaching storm. Given these conditions, I believe it is reasonable to receive a refund for the unused night and associated parking charges. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that the appropriate refund be issued. Thank you for your time and attention to this issue.

The walls are paper thin. The first night we could not sleep until around 2 a.m. due to noise from our neighbors. The second night, I was so nervous about what my kids might hear from neighboring rooms that we had to sleep with the TV on for noise coverage. This is absolutely not a family-friendly hotel. We also had issues with housekeeping. The towels in the room were dirty, and when housekeeping came by the second day, we declined full cleaning but asked for fresh towels. We were told we could only receive three towels, even though the room was booked for four people with two queen beds. On top of that, the room was extremely hot at night despite having the air conditioning set to 68 degrees, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay, and we will never stay at this location again.

Good place to stay
- 5/5
Staff was awesome, room was clean no issues. Perfect birthday getaway
- 5/5
Our state is very pleasant and I will be happy to book there again. Whenever South Carolina State is playing in the celebration bowl which is fairly often.
- 4/5
Great location within walking distance to Olympic Centennial Park and all the attractions nearby. Room was spacious, clean, nice bed and nicely equipped. We had a minor billing error, but this was resolved promptly and professionally by the desk staff. This hotel has a large self-park lot behind the hotel, which is convenient, cheaper (and not valet) which appears to be unusual for this area of downtown. The parking setup is appreciated. Staff was very good.
- 5/5
Clean and fresh smelling

Disappointing Stay Despite Friendly Staff!!! While the customer service at Aloft was great and the front desk staff were polite and helpful, the room itself was extremely disappointing. The counter was broken, the cable did not work, and the bed was uncomfortably low. The room was also very cold, even with the heat turned all the way up. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for the stay. Overall, the experience was not worth the amount I paid. I expected much better quality for the price.
- 5/5
The stay was great from check in to check out. All staff was friendly but especially Rajae at the front desk. She remembered my name and room number every time I walked into the hotel. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. The wxyz bar was good too. Limited small menu, but friendly bartender. Close to everything downtown.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, staff was welcoming, love the extra set of elevators at the end of the hotel very convenient. Close to all the activities downtown. Quick uber ride or rent a scooter!
- 5/5
The team at the Aloft went above and beyond to to make their guests feel welcome safe and secure. They treat each guess like family i would recommend Aloft always. Will be the place I will always stay when i return to Atlanta.
- 5/5
super nice staff and room.
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful and our suite was really nice as well with beautiful views of ATL. Hotel staff was friendly and overall experience was great. Only issues was we couldn’t Log into our Netflix,Disney plus( for our toddler) or any of our apps cause the tv’s were not smart TVs. I stay in hotels all over the courty and all different price points and they all have the option to watch my own subscription of Netflix or Hulu. It was a big disappointment and made our stay a lot harder with a 2 year old and had to watch on our phones
- 5/5
All staff were excellent. Front desk girls are pleasant and knowledgeable. Key cards didn’t work on first attempt so they switched them out. Got in the room but then that set quit working. Re-programmed again to no avail. Maintenance changed out the lock for dead battery. Bar and social area are great atmosphere. Came down to have a drink, play billards, and watch football on tv. Outside area looked awesome as well, just to cold to utilize.
- 4/5
Night shift staff was very pleasant and professional.
- 5/5
Great service.
- 3/5
Security! I was parked in the back of the parking lot and my cooler was stolen out of the back. I parked as close to the building as I could. There are a lot of loiting in the front and side of the parking area's. People smoking weed and casing out vehicles. Also, the bathroom light did not work and the sink had a chip broken out of it.
- 5/5
Great location, great front desk experience, super outside parking on the hotel grounds, very good internet speed in rooms.
- 5/5
I had a nice stay. Everything was great.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 1/5
Room smelled like moldy candy, internet broken for the entire stay, door lock battery died and couldn't get into the room for almost an hour, shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, heater wouldn't get the room above 65F. The hotel bar made alright cocktails but the food was sub fast food quality. Sorry I hate leaving a bad review or any review but there was very little positive to say here. The coffee in the lobby was ok and the lobby was clean I guess?
- 4/5
I asked for a coffee pot that worked twice. I never received one. Also our safe was broken and would not work.
- 4/5
Hotel was really nice. Staff was very professional and friendly. Our room was nice and clean. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
To the hotel management, thank you for having such great a great crew. We will be back really soon and your hotel will be our first choice. Thank you Aloft of downtown Atlanta.
- 4/5
The overall experience was great. Affordable and great location. The staff was nice and the rooms were cleaned. House keeping everyday which was amazing. It sounds basic but I almost never get house keeping during my stay. My only con was the walls were kind of thin. You can hear every door open on the hall. There was a family across the hall from me and it sounded like the kids were running up and down the halls until they went to sleep.
- 5/5
I like the front girl lady Naza
- 5/5
Perfect

Bed bugs
- 5/5
Staff was lovely, room was fine, clean and safe, which is important. The walls are kind of thin so I could hear my neighbors but it wasn't too bad. There was free coffee in the lobby which I appreciated because I was there for a work trip and had a few early mornings. All in all, no real complaints.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, they recalled my name throughout. Very helpful and kind. Very nice and clean room, good gym, close walk to Olympic Park. Super quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Room was great. Staff were lovely. But I was flabbergasted to be charged $12 for chips n dips which turned out to be a bag of shop crisps (still in their packet) and small plastic containers of a mayonnaise type dip. Also at breakfast time, they charged for cereal and milk separately. Although I didn’t pay, it became an expensive option.
- 5/5
Room
- 3/5
The bed was very comfortable but the room needs more lighting - it was very dim. Our particular room needed a new toilet seat - it was old and flaking, I thought there was pee or something on it. Also, the filter part of the coffee maker was missing so we couldn’t make any coffee.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay
- 5/5
Your bartender on Saturday night has a great repour with customers he is serving and has great skill in making all kinds of drink. His drinks were very well balanced and he was very inviting.
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and courteous.
- 4/5
Staff was really friendly and welcoming.

There was no breakfast.

Had to have my room changed because the carpet of my initial room reeked of urine
- 4/5
Only complaint is the wifi in the room was a little patchy.
- 3/5
The price quoted at the time we made the reservations was not honored at the hotel. BE WARE!
- 5/5
Nice hotel, clean & very convenient (walkable) to stadium. We'd stay again.
- 5/5
The dark lobby was a great feel!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great place but for a modern hotel there were no USB charging ports in our room.
- 1/5
We had a terrible stay. Although the location is great and the staff at the front desk was very kind, helpful, and professional, the property is not clean or well-maintained. From the elevator floors to the carpet in the hallways and rooms, to the air conditioners in the room and bathroom, everything feels and looks dirty. We stayed for two nights, and housekeeping entered the room only to leave “clean” towels. Didn’t even make our beds. Not to mention the dust and smell of mould coming from the air conditioner had us congested and with an allergic reaction the entire time. Would not recommend anyone to stay here and definitely won’t be back.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Moved promptly and in order.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were also nice. I’m not sure how to spell her name but she had a blonde Bob haircut “Karlie”. Overall, all the staff were helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
I don’t like that the fridge is in the bathroom but everything else was amazing
- 4/5
The room was nice. I do think as big as the suite was that additional wall mirrors would be great and more trash cans in the rooms.
- 4/5
It’s a nice property and conveniently located. The staff members were amazing. They were very professional and friendly. The only issue I had with this property was the cleanliness.
- 5/5
This was my first time staying at an Aloft and I enjoyed the experience! The front desk people were friendly and check in was a breeze. The lobby was clean, simplistic, and modern. The main elevator was a bit slow but the service elevator on the side near the stairs is much quicker. My room was clean and cozy. The only issue was that there was a lamp in my room that didn't work so I just used the lights above the bed which made my room dim but still comfortable. I really loved the self parking and convenience of the location, just minutes away from The Tabernacle! I didn't get to try the breakfast or bar but I'll definitely be back again!
- 5/5
Upon arrival, we were able to check in early since we were flying out of state. The place was clean, welcoming, and inviting. the staff were wonderful! The front desk was so helpful and attentive. The bar within the hotel is marvelous! we loved the bartender! The room itself was clean. We do wish the bathroom doors locked and felt the room needed more lighting at night it was a bit dark with just a lamp. Overall, We enjoyed our stay. :)
- 4/5
The hotel staff were great and the hotel was clean and very close to everything that we wanted to do in Atlanta. We did not like the way that the bathroom was set up. You could not turn the light on where the toilet and shower are from in that room and other lights in the room come on at the same time the toilet light comes on. If someone wants to sleep longer and someone else wants the light to find the toilet then things do not work out very well. The hotel should at least install a night light for where the toilet is. The area around the hotel is a little unsafe.
- 5/5
Clean with a great staff in a convenient location.
- 5/5
Simple, easy check in, friendly staff. Will bee back.
- 5/5
Happy , easy , clean property. Nice staff!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our short stay
- 3/5
The rooms were nice and quiet and easy to get to, but the first thing we had to do when we entered was chase around a roach (as a Floridian, not a huge deal, we see them all the time, and we didn't have any after, but worth noting), the ambient lighting was nice when we were chilling, but not having a central light made it very hard to do anything we needed a brighter light for (like chase a dark bug), the bathroom was okay, but because of the gap under the shower door, every time you showered it would get water ALL over the bathroom (slipping hazard), there was also quite a bit of mold in the shower (which might be a little nitpicky), the checkout process was also extraordinarily confusing, there was little information about check-in or checkout, there was no one at the desk to alert we were leaving and no answering service for the phones, so we just left our keys in the room and dipped. This could also be an Expedia issue, but A.) it says free parking when parking is not, in fact, free. And B.) I'm moderately sure I paid extra for "breakfast for two" which was not something that existed at this particular facility. A huge plus though is the cleaning folks, every day we came back and it was clear that they came in and freshened up, they did a great job.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room near Mercedes stadium with friendly staff.
- 5/5
The staff at this hotel were amazing!
- 5/5
Staff were Friendly, Kind and attentive at all my needs!!! Thank you
- 4/5
Our stay was excellent everything about it. We somehow got repeatedly missed with housekeeping, minor glitch.
- 5/5
Continently located if you’re wanting to walk to different places for activities or food. Parking was easy, employees were nice, rooms were nice. The beds were actually more comfortable than most hotels. They were as stiff as you’d expect, but not too soft either! Overall enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Good staff
- 5/5
I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed my stay. I keep booking this hotel when I visit Atlanta because if it’s hospitality and friendliness from the staff, in particular the front desk employee named Mickie. She is one sweet kind person for the BOOKS. So sweet and warm and always eager to help you out in any kind of way. I will encourage anyone if you are in the area and are in need of a hotel, please book Aloft and be ready to be greeted by this kind and professional employee named MICKIE, you will not be disappointed.
- 5/5
Great location to market but do not go out after dark to walk
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and the property overall was really kept up with!
- 4/5
The stay was decent overall, but I was mistakenly charged despite receiving parking and alcohol vouchers. The cooler failed and wasn’t replaced, and a housekeeper entered without knocking—both were unacceptable lapses.
- 5/5
Overall is it an excellent experience at aloft downtown Atlanta!!!
- 5/5
The room was not that clean.
- 4/5
Great location and service. Friendly staff. Good value stay and the location is very walkable to tourist attractions.
- 5/5
I have stayed in Aloft properties many times in several cities. I have always had the best stays with them. I will always stay at Aloft if the option is available.
- 5/5
Front desk and bartender were very friendly and professional. Room and bed were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
We made a reservation fir a suite 4 days before arriving and was told at the time of check in that the room was unavailable. Given a long story about how it was expedias fault and it was nit sent but thats hard to believe that they sisnt have it for 4 days and i was being emailed about my stay daily. We had no choice but to take a smaller room and down grade the stay that we had planned. The manager actwd as though she was doing us a favor by saving us money and giving us another room. Made the best of it because there reallt wasnt any choice.
- 5/5
Staying at Aloft was a great experience! Staff was very attentive and welcoming and the vibes at the bar on the same floor as the lobby was VERY cool. I’d definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Elevator was slow
- 5/5
Location is great. A walk away from the Georgia aquarium so you don't have to pay for $25 parking there. The hub is also in walking distance That is basically a large food court. The diner of Metro is the best. The food is great. And they have karaoke. The staff was wonderful at Aloft. The atmosphere and lobby are spectacular.
- 3/5
The hotel only had one working elevator. The air conditioning unit blew directly in my face all night. We also stayed in a room that when you opened the door to leave the air unit in the hall blew directly on you as well so you felt like you were walking into a wind storm when you were exiting the room. The bfast pricing was expensive for what it was. I would not stay here again.
- 1/5
My stay was Aug 19-23 and during this time we were moved from one room to another due to the animal urine smell, had a double pending charge meaning the hold against my card, room never completely cleaned, had to ask for towels daily, and last day room never cleaned. We booked through Expedia and Aloft staff acted if they didn't understand how the booking worked. This was a terrible stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 4/5
The lady at the front desk cause it’s not to be excellent. Young lady, she was stand dark and had braids. She is not very friendly seeing not very apologetic when things went wrong. She was not a good representative. What I think the person of Pheng in the hotel should be
- 1/5
I paid for my room and parking on your site. And to get to the hotel and be charged again for parking caused me to have paid over $60 in total is very misleading. Why do you offer the option to pay for parking and breakfast and the hotel not honor that payment.
- 5/5
The pool was dirty
- 1/5
Place was not secured my truck got broken into along with 4 other cars and trucks. And some how no one saw or even noticed it happen.
- 4/5
The Staff was great, the restaurant was great, the only thing negative was one of the elevators wasn't working.
- 1/5
Bathroom leaked Bug in bed
- 5/5
We liked the hotel’s proximity to shops, food options, and the aquarium. The staff was great and we all felt very welcome, including our dog.
- 1/5
The hotel itself was good. However. We got absolutely no rest. A few youngsters were so loud and abnoxious from 2-5am. I called the front desk several times and no staff ever answered the phone !!!!! I was pissed
- 4/5
Nice stay for the location. We didn’t have to drive unless we wanted to. Everything was in walking distance or we hopped on a scooter. The beds were very comfortable to say the least. DO NOT waste your money on the breakfast $10/day for one breakfast item is insane 😒. You don’t even get a drink, they do have complimentary coffee. The pool is smaller than it appears online and only one elevator was working which was very annoying.
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
Only one elevator was working so it took at least 15 min to go up or down during morning and evening time. Room was not clean properly as you can see dust on night stand. Inconvenient as toilet was behind same door as washroom.coffee in lobby were empty for both day stay and when we told front desk then they started to brew another and it took more than 15 min to serve again
- 3/5
parking lot need more light.
- 4/5
I had a great city view, a pretty clean room, and delicious breakfast options. However, there was an elevator out of service that was inconvenient, i found a piece of glass in the pool, the a/c units in the rooms kept turning off, and although we had 2 tvs in our suite, there was only about 5 working channels on each tv. It was worth the price overall
- 1/5
Had bed bugs had to move me to another room instead of giving me my money cause my friend was bit by one
- 4/5
Close to children's museum and the aquarium
- 3/5
Location is excellent
- 1/5
Hotel a few times and every time we come, there’s a big problem. The elevators were out for a year now Elevator this time there was no air-conditioning in the hotel except for the rooms. They told you to go to the ice machine to get your eyes and you gagged because it smelled in this room like dirty diapers and throw up. There’s way too much air fresheners in the rooms we felt like we were choking and our throats were closed. We had to take Benadryl too Stay in the room and open the door and open the door coming in. This is not a typical MARRIOTT property we are a titanium elite and I’ve and plenty of MARRIOTT and they should be embarrassed to have this hotel listed as one of the properties is very friendly, but you hardly see any cleaning people no clean towels very disappointed in his trip.
- 3/5
⸻ I’ve stayed at several Aloft hotels both personally and professionally, and this one didn’t meet the usual standard. I chose it for the brand and location. It wasn’t terrible, but there are things to note. The location is great—walking distance to attractions and restaurants, and we felt safe. On-site security and parking lot patrol were a plus. Parking is paid (I knew this, just noting it). Check-in staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The hotel is aging, not run-down but could use a refresh. Only one elevator was working, and we waited over 20 minutes to leave—frustrating. Beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and dust-free. However, the room layout is odd—the bathroom sink is open to the room, and the toilet/shower are behind a flimsy sliding door. No real privacy. The shower was hot with good pressure. Towels seemed like they were from dollar store, tiny and few. The AC wouldn’t go below 70, not a dealbreaker but noticeable. The iron was useless and the ironing board smelled. Only a small recycling bin—no trash can. Housekeeping kept the room clean and restocked, but they tried to push us out before checkout. Overall: 6/10. Book it if location matters or it’s cheaper than nearby options. Just don’t expect the usual Aloft experience—or $300/night value.
- 4/5
Location is great! Walking distance to Mercedes Benz stadium. Cons: only one working main elevator at the time. Had to use the stairs because it took too long. My parking tag did not work. Had to go to the front desk to resolve payment issues.
- 5/5
Ms. Minnie was an amazing help
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
My stay was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar had a really nice vibe, and the location was perfect, just 2 blocks away from centennial park and the georgia aquarium. Tip: if you are going to the aquarium, buy your tickets at the front desk. You’ll save upwards of $20 per person rather than buying them at the aquarium directly.
- 5/5
The staff and sitting area
- 4/5
Parking is not included charging you $37 per night, For this type of property I don’t see why parking wouldn’t be included
- 3/5
The fire alarm went off at 1:30 am which was annoying. Fixtures old appearing and weathering. Overall areas felt clean. Upgraded TVs would be nice!
- 5/5
Loved the attitude of the front desk . Rooms were nice and the attendants of rooms were very good also. Only thing I would change would be to add amenities to the rooms.
- 2/5
Our room had a city view which was nice, however there were several things that made our stay not so great. The telephones did not work. I called from my cell phone for towels and never received them. One elevator was out which made getting too and from your room a nightmare. The shampoo, conditioner, bodywash holder was misising from the shower so it made it extremely hard. We had to bend down to get body wash. Nice location. I thought the association with Marriot would make this hotel okay, but I do NOT recommend. Pool is also very small.
- 3/5
The room was lackluster. The shower had tape on the tiles, and not soaps. The room was dusty
- 5/5
Two blocks from World of Coca Cola and Georgia Aquarium. Only minor inconvenience was breakfast wasnt as described and one elevator wasn’t working. Otherwise all good.
- 5/5
Very wonderful place to stay I go to Atlanta every 6 months and I’ll forever use this place to stay!
- 5/5
However, in fifty years of travel I have never experienced such a wonderful staff from the front desk, the bar, the shop and the maid service - they were incredibly friendly, polite, efficient and made my stay one of the best experiences I have ever had. A special mention for Mickey at the front desk - wonderful member of staff.
- 4/5
They did not have enough towels for our room . And they didn’t come by everyday to do our room . But they did honor our reservation even though we were a day late due to unforeseen circumstances and Keri from the front desk was amazing . Her service was great and even supplied our kids with coloring books during our stay . Though there were we didn’t like . The staff was very friendly. Top notch service from the staff overall .
- 4/5
Did not like using only 1 elevator for so many guests
- 5/5
Was an amazing stay I will be returning on my next trip
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my stay at Aloft Atlanta downtown! The staff was really nice and friendly! I did have a few issues with my key cards not working properly in which the staff immediately fixed the issue once I advised them of the problem and the refrigerator and microwave were missing from my room. Also, only one elevator was working during my stay, other than that everything was real nice.
- 2/5
My TV, phone, or refrigerator didn’t work. I called twice and was told someone would come no one came! So i just didn’t worry abt it bc i had somewhere to be. Even after i came back nothing was fixed still hours later!!!
- 5/5
- 5/5
Place was clean and the service was good on my staycation!
- 4/5
The hotel was close to Centennial Park and walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Great outdoor seating area. The bathroom doors are slide doors and did not close properly as well as the key card was finicky in the doors but overall it was a great location with great service.
- 4/5
I wish it was a main light in the room that’s all but other than that i love the place!
- 5/5
♥️
- 5/5
Very convenient to where I needed to go for work. Also there are many dining locations walkable to this hotel. Only issue was the pool was closed.
- 5/5
The room was great and the staff was very accommodating!
- 5/5
Every Aloft I have stayed in has been dope!
- 5/5
The property was clean and easy to access . And it was safe area
- 3/5
Very loud at night
- 5/5
Nice people
- 5/5
Will Most Definitely Come Bac to stay there again
- 5/5
Very close to the main street with lots of food options. One block away from the train that takes you directly to the airport.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, easy parking.
- 1/5
First, all doors even the main entrance requires the keycard which if you are just coming in is an inconvenience. There were people waiting outside bc no one at the desk was paying attention. Check in was fast but they failed to read everything with my booking. The room was ok. No microwave or fan in the bathroom to keep the steam away. The shower was nice but whomever designed it is a moron. That glass door did not seal to the rest and the bottom was tile with no seal causing water to go outside the shower. The mini fridge is exactly as it says mini, could not fit anything worth keeping in there. Worst of all we just left a hotel in PCB where we had got crumbl and was able to leave it out there with no issues. Day one at this hotel and there were ants! Mind you we were in the 4th floor!
- 4/5
Have a pool
- 4/5
Amazing staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
It’s just generic stuff, had to ask for town everyday, nothing special, and there’s no continental breakfast, which should be included in this hotel chain.
- 4/5
Property was fine, staff was great! The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the elevators didn't work well, sometimes it wouldnt even come at all. Long wait for the elevators.
- 5/5
Very clean, comfortable, great view. Walking distance from downtown.
- 5/5
Loved our stay at Aloft , it was perfect for my son and myself for 4 nights exploring the area, but the best bit was the staff , always so friendly and helpful, we loved them .
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
bed are very comfortable
- 4/5
The location is great, rooms are clean, staff is kind, and it is quiet. There was no refrigerator which was a bummer but other than that I had a nice stay.
- 2/5
Elevators are under renovation so expect long wait times just to get to and from your room. 4th floor hallway was about as hot and humid as it was outside. (Not sure about the others) Property needs general upkeep and freshening up to be nice again.
- 5/5
Under new management
- 4/5
good hotel
- 3/5
Atlanta is a terrible place
- 3/5
Bed pillows' smell was not pleasant.
- 2/5
Elevators didnt work, air in room didnt work well at all. Had to ask for fan.
