The bed had what looked like a blood stain, the tub had mold and stains all over it. There was dust everywhere and it reeked of cigarettes. The bed was even stained yellow from the smoke.

The motel could use a good cleaning. The common areas are poorly kept.

I could hear the people on the room next to me very easily, they weren't being loud either, also I think the people that run the place have a music studio in one of the rooms, every night from 7-9 it is obnoxious loud, they shouldn't rent room#213

everything in this hotel is bad.. the main light doesn't turn on, the service is bad, there are cockroaches on the wall. The minibar is turning off and keeps smelling bad. The bathroom is dirty, like old towels.

We reserved a King bed 4 days in advance and when we got arrived then had us down for a Queen instead for the same price. Yea I saved a little bit of money through hotel but in the future I will seek another place. The other guest were rude and noisy but the. Again we were there for one night while traveling. The owner was nice but it would have been better to get the bed I paid for.

The staff person took forever dealing with arriving customers who appeared frustrated. Her difficulty to understand English was bot exactly helpful. No staff person should ever mention the room number of any solo female guest in the presence or hearing of male guests for safety reasons. And the place was not clean. For example, you should see the filth coating the phone on the table and considerable dust.. Maybe this place is slated for renovation but this place is in serious need of just that. Wish I didn’t have to be negative and I hardly am, being an experienced traveler, but this place is not recommended, being caught between two newer hotels. See it as an opportunity to get it all fixed up.

First Lady did not have my reservation. When the boss came Expedia needed to re-send the reservation. Room had smoke detector hanging from the ceiling with wires exposed. Dried piss on toilet seat. Sink drain had stuff in it and stopper was broken. Walls are paper thin.

The room look clean and neat. It werid that bed is on side of the room whe TV and stand is in the middle of the room. Bathroom look like undergoes improvement but half done right. For example, bath tub sealing is not done properly and tub isnt smooth, just rough edge.

Got there at 9:00 pm and the lobby was locked with a sign on the door "sold out". Nobody answered the phone for 20 minutes.and finally someone came to the door looking like they came from a black lives matter rally .

The bedding looked as if it hadn't been washed and the towels were so old they felt like rags. I hate to be so negative but I couldn't get out of there fast enough in the morning.

I arrived at 3 am in a rain storm on my motorcycle. The bathroom tub and floor were filthy to the point that I checked the bed for bugs. The towels were slighty larger than a kitchen dish towel and worn thin. If I wasn't exhausted, I would have left.

The room was dirty. Hair all over the bathroom floor. Honestly I am not sure it had been cleaned in weeks other than the toilet, sink and bath tub. The front door had a gap at least up to a half inch in different places allowing bugs and critters to come and go. The bottom of my wife’s feet were black from walking on the floors. I was very surprised.

Hotel says rooms are smoke free, they aren’t. Asked to try another room, all rooms were uninhabitable by a non smoker (rooms 203, 205, 208 and 209, so not an isolated issue). Desk clerk offered a can of smoke removal spray, no refund. Ended up staying at a hotel next door, no way a non smoker can stay there. Very run down hotel. Hotels.com rating of this hotel as Good is 100% wrong, it’s bad. Just plain bad.

This place really needs a massive overhaul and a cleaning service that can define the word clean. There’s not enough space on here for me to fully describe things. I’ll say though it was bug free and the young lady at the desk was extremely pleasant.

Front staff was very sweet but disappointed that I couldn’t get refund even though conditions were so abysmal. I know I know...should’ve known but truly the reviews and pictures were misleading. Soon as we woke up in the morning we got our stuff and checked out. We will never come here again, nor recommend it to anyone

Room was fine for an overnight pit stop driving home from Florida. Bed was so so and the towels were cheap, but it was clean, the shower had hot water and had a good lock on the door so I felt safe.

This was an amazing experience. From the bed to the maid service. Everything was exceptional. Microwaves and mini fridge. Wonderful appearance, decorations and furniture. Just a nice cozy place to call home for a few days. Renovations are outstanding and prices are amazing.

I made the reservation for this hotel back in January for a one night stay in April. I go to check in and the hotel is closed for renovation as it is going to now be a Red Roof Inn. I never received notification that the hotel was closing, and Expedia is having a difficult time refunding my money for the stay because they can't reach the hotel owner.

Convenient to restaurants, gas stations and Richmond Speedway but smelled awful. Killed a roach on the coffee maker early in the morning, grabbed our bags, left our pillow behind and got out fast! Cheap but Never again!

1. They are remodeling so you have to be careful. The room was clean but with the remodel hopefully they will update it. There pool is closed so it's a bummer if you want to go for a swim. 2. Not much of a breakfast. You're better off going to McDonald's on your way to the interstate.

Check in was quick and easy. Right on the highway minutes from Kings Dominion. Plenty of space for me and my friends. Like the fact the room had a mini fridge and a small table with chairs so my friends and I had a spot to play Magic: The Gathering when got by from the theme park. Wifi was a bit spotty though. A little underwhelmed by the complimentary breakfast. But with the price, location, and ease of the check in/check out.

Check in was quick and easy. Right on the highway minutes from Kings Dominion. Plenty of space for me and my friends. It was terrible, the beds were hard n full size, the toilet leaked everytime u flushed it, we had 3 towels totaled for 2 room. When we asked for more we were told no, so we went n bought our own.

I knew this wasn't a 5 star hotel. But they accommodated me and my children, and made sure I had adjoining rooms. The owner was very polite and professional. This room served its purpose for a place to rest during our vacation.

Last minute booking, didn't expect much for the price, and still got less than expected. Roaches and flies in bathroom, wallpaper peeling off Wall, rust at bottom of the bathtub, cracked and uneven countertops, and the list could go on for the room. No Wi-Fi connection available. Free continental breakfast was not available as the person was sleeping in the back room. If I could give a rating below 1 I would.

the stay was pretty quiet. the room was in very poor condition, compared to our stay here last year. the entire place needs remodeling. the room had a bad moldy odor when we checked in. I was disappointed

Pool was green so you couldn't swim in it. Our room smelled so I went to Walmart and bought a candle. Bed pillows were flat and only gave us two towels for four guest. Would not stay here again.

Only stay here if you are in desperate need of a cheap hotel. The rooms are very dated. The carpet was stained, the room smelled, the air conditioner barely worked and the bathroom was falling apart. Definitely should be closed down. It's in very bad shape.

Mr. Patel ( the manager ) was very pleasant and courteous.. . The rooms were clean ,very large . Bed was comfortable but pillows were not . Overall the price was rite and would stay there again when passing through.

We had an older room. It took forever to check in. The beds we're ok. You had to flush the toilet like 5 times to get anything to go down. All the drains we're really slow. The hair dryer literally blew up in my hand and stopped working. Luckily we we're there with friend's in another room..they had a more updated room and I used their hair dryer.

The hotel was OK for the money, but they could have at least had the air conditioning on for us. We arrived around 10:00 p.m. and it took forever to cool down the room to sleep. It was 95 degrees outside!

Would not recommend staying here at all! We had 5 rooms for the family trip the bathroom is the size of a closet with the sink being outside in room. The bedding was dirty just an horrible experience overall. Not to mention on back of door when peeled back sign you saw dead bed bugs! Never again

Very friendly staff. Great value. Comfortable and close to kings dominion. We were able to save money by not staying in doswell. It's convenient to 95 and only a ten minute drive to k.d. we purchased season passes (3 silver and 1gold. The gold covers parking which is otherwise 15 dollars per day!) And by moving the 7 miles (I think) from the park saved a ton of money even though I had to spend a little extra on the gold pass. It's definitely the way to go if you want to spend a few days or more at the park. I would highly recommend at least 3 days. 1 or 2 isn't long enough to enjoy all the park has to offer! I saved enough on our first trip (5 days) that we were able to go for another 5 days the next month! Season passes are only 78 dollars for silver and 123 for gold and you only need 1gold pass per car load to park. All passes get 10 percent (might actually be 20) off gift store and some food purchases.The hotel iitself wasn't the Ritz but it was clean, had a pool, decent breakfastand nice staff. We stayed at this hotel both times we went to kings dominion this summer.

Ok economy hotel. Located very close to expressway. We had to call to find location though because it is tucked in beside truck stop on frontage road. Nice air conditioning made for a good nights sleep.

The Hotel is a bit older but very clean. Pool on site. Refrigerator and safe in room. Convenient location, friendly staff. I will stay there again.

This is a basic, no-frills motel in the suburbs of a large city. Ideal for the cost-conscious traveler. The free breakfast was disappointing, with very few things to choose from. Overall, a good value for the price.

When I first entered the room there was a roach crawling across the door .. After seeing that I was skeptical about everything else .. Especially taking a shower .. I used towels as a mat for the shower . I also has a burning smell come out of my vent system so I just shut the system off completely.
