amazingly cool property. But they don't put any coffee out and the restaurant doesn't open until 7AM. So if you want coffee before that its mid keurig coffee.

Great location. Some glitches with valet (couldn’t find my keys), housekeeping (didn’t clean room) and front desk (poor room assignment) but they overcame each and worked to make it right, which I appreciated. Good breakfast, great coffee pods in room, and the beds were very comfortable.

Room and staff were great but amenities were not what I had hoped for. Was in the presidential suite and had multiple issues - fire pit not working properly and constantly turning off, phone in main bedroom not working, TVs sluggish old and barely usesable, kitchen unexpectedly closed temporarily when trying to order room service. Disappointing given the expense.

What a joy it was staying at the Foundry - a most beautiful venue close to restaurants and the Biltmore estate. Lovely front desk lady who warmly welcomed us and answered our questions. Definitely would stay there again.

The Foundry Hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spotless and stylish, and the location was perfect for exploring Asheville. The hotel’s historic character gives it a unique atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else. Highly recommend.

It’s all new, room is small but thoughtfully laid out. Bathroom with walk in shower was large and had great water pressure, plenty of closet space and large windows . Just great!

The property was very clean and well maintained. I found it to be a nice, relaxing and quiet environment. Easy walk into downtown and all that it has to offer.

Atmosphere was so cute and the hotel was cozy! Only two complaints we had were the unexpected construction happening outside our window at 7:30 in the morning, and the awkward pathways for the luggage trolleys.

Concierge lady had no idea what parking options were. Suggested we do street parking then said never mind it’s only 2 hrs. We arrived and she never confirmed the location just responded “I hope so” to us saying “I hope we’re in the right spot.” She did nothing to help either of us. Esp my mother with her bags, which wouldn’t be an issue, but she said it was her job prior. No front desk staff available upon check-in for a while. Housekeeping always left items behind. Other than that great food!

What a treasure this hotel is. Chic, great service, rooms are incredibly well appointed with lovely linens, Nespresso machine. Huge shower and sink area. Lobby is a great gathering place. We had dinner there in the cozy lounge area. Fantastic reuse of a historical downtown property. Will stay again. Valet available.

Also noisy. You can hear steps from floor above. The staff were not very helpful. Slow service. A used overnight room service tray was left on the table by the elevator till late afternoon when I had to ask the front desk to clear it.

Positives: Breakfast - we included breakfast with our booking thru Hotels.com, and very glad we did. Service was slow but very friendly. Although I didn’t believe them at first, included is any breakfast you want. You order anything off the menu and they remove the tabs from your bill. All the food we had over 3 mornings was fabulous. The water - filtered (and sparkling) water station in the lobby. We stopped by and filled up each day, saving time, plastic, and money buying bottled. Service - every employee was friendly and helpful. They happily moved us from a 2nd floor to top after night one was too loud. Restaurant staff always nice, valets were friendly. Great location - easy in and out, perfect location to roam downtown, loads of good restaurants nearby Rooms - decent sized rooms and bathrooms, comfy pillows, power curtains and large windows. Overall after I crafted my own soft mattress and relocated to a top floor room, we ended up having a great stay.

Great location and cleanliness Hotel Couldn’t find my reservation which put a damper on the check in process. We went for my wife’s bday and this was a surprise trip for her. After 20 minutes at the front desk, we finally checked in when I was able to get in touch with booking.com support and played middle man for support and the hotel staff

Stayed for one night at this gem of a hotel with my son earlier this week. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Location was convenient, less than a 5 min walk to many dining choices. The room was very spacious and even if I wanted to find something to complain about, there’s literally nothing negative I could think of. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a try.

Did not care for the room "spritzing" with fragrance. The first night the frangrance was overpowering and uncomfortable and took me longer to fall asleep.

There is so much. Granted we were there during the Hurricane Helene, however the sheer lack of respect, humanity, of the hotel staff, the front desk staff, the lack of compassion and experience was clearly evident and unique to this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Foundry. The staff was exceptional and the hotel is quaint and welcoming. It is a great location close to downtown and the Biltmore. We highly recommend this property.

Staff was great. Super friendly and informed on the history of the buildings AC went out across the hotel for one day and our window had a small leak, both of which staff apologized for and took care of as soon as possible

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel! Everything from the staff to the room to the property itself was top notch! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was stylishly furnished and comfortable. I loved the recommendation list we were given and the access to the concierge. It is also very conveniently located and easily walkable to enjoy one of the many breweries or local shops.

The breakfast was excellent. I had the yoghurt parfait—fresh berries.. There was no mention of lattes on the menu. I had a regular coffee then overheard someone ordering a latte and had coffee envy.

Parents weekend trip for my husband and I to explore Asheville. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, but what made our stay was the amazing bartender J (Jason). He was like walking up to an old friend every night. He gave great local food recommendations, even suggested items on the menu and he was spot on. When we arrived the room that we had chosen was amazing because it was a corner suite with an awesome view. Unfortunately, we had to switch out of that room because the heating did not work properly. This would’ve been a terrible situation, but again, hanging out with J and then visiting his suggested places really made our trip!

One of our favorite hotels anywhere, but seemed to be understaffed in some areas. Housekeeping did not finish rooms until after 5pm. The front desk was very gracious and gave a F&B credit, but is something that needs to addressed. Hopefully so, as we love the hotel and location.

We love the historic aspects (we opted to stay in a historic room), the upscale hipster vibe, and the bar and courtyard area. This hotel is walkable to downtown but a block off the main streets for some quiet when you want it.

Hotel is a very cool looking place close to shopping and dining. Staff was helpful. Room was nice looking however both bed frames were broken in the room and tilting so badly that it felt like I was falling out of the bed. I fixed this by propping up each bed with towels but it was kind of ridiculous to have to do that - first time ever in a hotel. The room was also super noisy at night and vibrated with some sort of generator or outside ac unit running constantly. It was hard to get to sleep or to stay sleeping. Unfortunate for an otherwise cool place. Hotel was hosting a private event when we were there and even though the staff encouraged us to move freely in the property, it was awkward since the place was pretty much taken over by the one group. The small outdoor courtyard area would have been a cool place to hang out but that wasn’t really possible with the takeover. Valet guys did a good job with our car. Honestly, due to the poor sleeping situation I’d have to think twice about the foundry next time.

Hotel is a very cool looking place close to shopping and dining. Staff was helpful. Room was nice looking however both bed frames were broken in the room and tilting so badly that it felt like I was falling out of the bed. I fixed this by propping up each bed with towels but it was kind of ridiculous to have to do that - first time ever in a hotel. The room was also super noisy at night and vibrated with some sort of generator or outside ac unit running constantly. It was hard to get to sleep or to stay sleeping. Beautiful property. All staff went above and beyond. Bartender Tre was fantastic snd fave is great recommendations. Had an excellent breakfast with friendly service. Bartender / manager in Benne on Eagle was knowledgeable and friendly !

We loved this hotel! Very comfortable and unique. Close to restaurants and shopping. Trey was our favorite bar tender of the whole trip! He was amazing, drinks were awesome! We loved the brunch at the restaurant. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious. Highly recommend!

Upon checkout, the bellman, the valet and the valet team were top level, even getting us ice for our cooler. The concierge gave us great advice for a fun rooftop experience and mountain view.

Very nice hotel. Great history to the building but very model hotel. Nice rooms, bar and restaurant. Had jazz on Friday nights. Convenient location to downtown Asheville restaurants and shops.

The walls and ceiling were super thin as well, so I got little to no sleep because of the heavy thuds of the people above us and the constant discussions and car beeps, etc. We were dismissed when we brought these things up with the front desk.

It was perfect, but very pricey.

Extremely clean. Excellent Location within walking distance of many shops, breweries and restaurants.

Not the best stay, but the manager on duty definitely helped. No running water in the shower made for a long night and morning. The rude customer service at the front desk (lack of concern) was made up for by Shane being so helpful and making sure things were handled. He was awesome and so friendly! The hotel is beautiful and we will be back for sure, thanks to Shane's helpful nature.

The Foundry Hotel is the best location- its central to downtown yet tucked away. Its was beautifully decorated, clean, and the staff was amazing. Also the valet was excellent.

You won't be disappointed.

Was a very cool place to stay. The hotel bars and restaurant was awesome. The location was just a few blocks walk to all the important parts of Asheville

The building is amazing. They preserved the elements of an old factory or mill. Exposed brick, beautiful floors, light fixtures. A very good edgy vibe. Great bar and a restaurant on site.

The Foundry was amazing, centrally located, beautiful building inside and outside, staff was very friendly. I would go back anytime!

So the property was absolutely wonderful, great location and phenomenal staff. My only complaint is the pillows which are barely thicker than a sheet of paper but unfortunately that’s the norm in most hotels now. Otherwise, this hotel is truly top notch and will be staying again.

Beautiful property. Not so friendly or accommodating staff. Room also wasn’t ready when we got there at 5 after a long day on the road.

So you know there is no pool despite Hotels.com website indicating there is. The front desk attendant said yes they have heard that but don’t know how they can rectify with Hotels.com. We had a very disappointed kid.

Nice hotel for sightseeing Asheville

Great room - smudges all over the cabinets in the room and some minor wear on all of the furniture. Otherwise staff was amazing and everything else was great!

Great hotel. Architecture was outstanding . Love all tre exposed brick. Great history of the bulldog. Would return to this hotel without a doubt. Valet service and friendliness was outstanding .

The property was lovely but the thermostat either registered really cold or too warm. The staff was very friendly. We requested a room cleanup that never arrived although towels were quickly delivered.

Would have liked to hook up our FireStick, tho'. I guess there's an agreement w/Direct TV? ;o)

Beautiful property and staff was attentive

We travel fairly extensively, and the staff at this property is truly amazing. Every single person goes out of their way to speak with you and help you. The only thing this property could do better, is to offer a dog area since they are considered pet friendly. We had to take the dog to an offsite park in an unknown area every time they had to go to the bathroom.

Excellent location and all of the staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The concierge, Leah was amazing!

Room and complex was very clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that valet parking was to an outside lot or street and not covered parking.

unique architecture

It is a long story. We had our room booked since March 2021.A couple weeks prior to our stay in November 2021 they said our room was no longer available. They sold out regular folks that had booked for a high priced convention that took over the hotel. They did pay for a higher priced room for one night at a high end hotel. It is the principle and inconvenience that mattered not the money. Due to deception, I would not recommend this hotel.

Room had high ceilings and large windows,this junior suite had lots of space.

Our stay at The Foundary was absolutely perfect. It was our wedding night and my husband called ahead of time spoke with Britney in the concierge to help send roses and a bottle of champagne to our room after the reception. She went above and beyond for us! Beautiful room and excellent customer service!

Beautiful industrial chic decor that feels both cool and homey. Impeccable service from the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered. Great location. Lovely lounge area with top notch cocktails and small plates. Highly recommend this property.

The property was in a great location in downtown Ashville. You can walk to most restaurants and bars. However, it was expensive for what you get. The room was nice but the floor had a some sloping, the curtains were controlled by remote and didn't work. Overall it was fine.

Located on a quiet street but close to everything in Asheville. A lovely hotel with a very nice staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The history and location of the hotel is so interesting and made the stay that much richer. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located in downtown but felt more secluded thanks to the private courtyard area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was larger than expected, very quiet despite being next to a fire station. Would absolutely go back next time in Asheville.
