Overbooked, broken laundry facilities, room was unclean, the shower was terrible.

The juice dispenser was out of order and waffle maker were out of order for breakfast. The overnight employee at the front desk was very accommodating to our needs and brought us extra pillows and an extra comforter quickly. The intake for our air conditioner was right where people were smoking so you could smell smoke in the room. Our kids liked the pool and hot tub.

We personally saw housekeeping staff working on our floor and requested service twice, but no effort was made to acknowledge the mistake or resolve the issue. This is a clear failure of service. We expect a refund as compensation. The level of customer service at this hotel is unacceptable and does not meet basic hospitality standards

They forgot to refresh our room on the first full day of our stay. Left us with dirty towels which front desk did replace for us. We had to go get them and then put our dirty towels out in the hall.

Aside from my request to have a room without a standard tub with only a walk-in shower, due to my mom's age and knees not being able to raise high wasn't able to be accommodated we enjoyed our stay. At breakfast most of the options aside from the fruit had milk or cheese. It would have been nice to have had something hot to eat that didn't contain milk or cheese due to my food allergies with the amount of money I paid for a one night stay. Although, I did enjoy the hotel's indoor pool.

I called the hotel to question the charge after several days and the manager said they never charged my card when clearly it was on my statement with the date and location of where it was charged. Instead of trying to resolve the situation she said just dispute it on your cards Worst resolution to a customer concern I have ever heard.

Hot tub was not much warmer than luke warm. Tv in room did not work, when i alerted the front desk they said it was a known issue. I get stuff happens and it doesnt really bother me, would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Front desk associate also said my room numer out loud. The purpose for selecting this hotel was they had a hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub was shut down, we were told due to the need for a professional cleaning and could not be used until approved by the health department. The breakfast attendant was cranky all 4 days I was there, maybe he wanted to use the hot tub too 😕.

Room was sparsely decorated but clean. The ac unit lacked the ability to shut off the fan less you turn the unit off. Hence the fan constantly ran so we had to turn the unit off overnight. Breakfast was good. Coffee was very good.

The only thing I didn’t like were the outdated & loud coolers in the rooms. I mean, it kept the room cool but you could tell it was working hard since it is summer. Hopefully they can update those soon.

I stayed over one night at this property on my way back to Michigan. Property was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and offered a gluten-free muffin option for the bread. On my way back to Florida. I would stay there again.

Was a little disappointed that the spa water wasn't hot. Could have been hotter. Didn't report to desk cause it wasn't the main reason we stayed. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

When I got to the hotel in a hurry to get to an event I booked that day, checkin was seamless but when I went to the room the air conditioning wasn't operating correctly and I told the front desk. They said we'll have another room ready after your event. When I got back late they had changed my room and easily corrected the problem and I was able to sleep in a cold room. Appreciated their willingness to change the room and not hold me up so I could make my event.

Maybe I received an unlucky room but both of the beds in my room were absolutely awful; Squishy soft, like a springy kids mattress made in the 70's. I almost slept on the floor for my second night because the bed was so uncomfortable. Despite my poor review for 'comfort', the staff was incredibly nice and the location is perfect for exploring Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

One of the cleaner Fairfield locations we've stayed at. Nice long hours for the pool and hot tub, 24/7 work out area, and friendly staff. It did smell funny when we walked in the room but more of a clean funny, like vinegar based supplies.

Upon arrival, outside garbage cans were overflowing. One of the rooms didn’t have a hair dryer. The shower in the king bed room was spacious but after showering the floor was wet. The towel we placed there became soaked. The ice machine on our floor was broken. Otherwise the stay was comfortable.

Friendly, easy check-in. Very clean room. Room was a suite and at various points neighbors in adjoining suite were kinda noisy. Not terribly, but at times noticeably. Probably could have gotten another room. But, it never got bad enough that I felt it was necessary. Other than that, very satisfied and would stay again on future visits.

Stay was pleasant. We had an issue with our booked room as the door wouldn't lock. Very quickly and professionally resolved. The gal at the front desk (Rebecca?) was great. We had 4 teenage girls with us and the staff was all very welcoming and understanding

The staff were fantastic. Had to change our travel plans and they made it right in a New York minute. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Property is kept exceptionally CLEAN. With that said, it is showing it's age a bit - door bottoms needed a painting and more USB charging ports.For the price, a diamond in the rough !!!

This was our second time staying at this location and it was a wonderful stay. This hotel is nothing fancy, I describe it as a high end budget hotel, but it is clean, very well staffed, and offers all the amenities that make a trip pleasant. We will definitely be staying there again.

Was given a room on the 6th floor where the ice machine sounded like a jet engine--incredibly loud, fix the darned thing! Also there are numerous newer more modern hotels in the immediate area.

Everyone was so nice and very helpful!! We usually go somewhere once a month, and we will start staying there from now on!! Our granddaughter loved the swimming pool and hot tub!!

The property was nice with easy parking. Staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The shower was big! The only thing is the new mirror in the bathroom blocked the bathroom plug, so I was unable to use. However my stay was great and I enjoyed the breakfast!

Our girls trip was great due to the amazing people at the hotel! When we checked into our room the light was flashing and we were immediately moved to another room. This hotel is the quietest one I have ever stayed in. I did not hear anything from the hallway or surrounding rooms. Both the hotel and the employees are a hidden gem in Asheville!!

Very clean hotel. The staff is friendly from front desk to housekeeping and maintenance. The room was lovely the pool and fitness center are awesome. Soooo glad I found a new place to stay as I come to Asheville once a month!!

The property has an okay gym where one can keep active and keep their fitness up ... the indoor pool and whirlpool was also nice.

Property needs renovation and bed and linens to be update

The stay was great. It was a convenient location. The facility was very clean and the breakfast was very enjoyable.

Very good property, that can be managed better. The room was pretty good, however, the light fixtures were unplugged apparently to save a few cents--very odd. Alcohol bottles were still on the carpet, not very clean.

I used to work in a Fairfield years ago and know what to expect when coming to Fairfield. This hotel exceeded those in many ways. Glad I stayed here for the night to rest my head after an afternoon at the Arboretum.

Really friendly staff. Quiet. The tiles around the jacuzzi need repair but everything else was great.

It was a comfy stay the room was clean and the nice big shower was amazing. Ample parking and easy access to Asheville and points West...

I really enjoyed the front desk ladies, they were very kind! The front of the facility was clean and the bathroom in the room was decent however our room did have a lot small ants that got into our luggage and around our fridge. The condensation in the room made the room smell pretty bad since it was never really dried out, I can’t say I was super thrilled with the stay but thankfully the ladies up front were very accommodating and friendly.

It was an overnight stay and the facilities were excellent.

Decent room, everything looked pretty updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mediocre but fresh and acceptable. Coffee in the breakfast room was very good, though. I would stay again.

The bed was not comfortable. It was not a good experience.

Property need to maintenance. Towels were very rough, need cocking in bath room. I think microwave was not working properly. It took long time to heat up the water. Lift was going up and down very very slow.

It was comfortable, rested peacefully here. Just not the most updated

This Fairfield inn didn’t seem the usual good quality we are used to with others. Hotel appeared dirty and unkept, beds were really soft, the recommendation on Expedia for restaurants was scary to bring kids to (pub), pool is freezing (I know it did not say heated, we were just surprised). The staff however was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was fair.

The front desk staff is nice, but the water in the sink flew very slowly, and the drink machine at the breakfast room was out of service on one day. I even saw ants near the food counter.

Clean

Upon arriving at the property we were greeted by Alan and Dylan. Both were extremely helpful in accommodating us into a room that would suit our needs and their knowledge of the area provided us with options of things to do in the Asheville. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again without hesitation. Lastly, those warm chocolate chip cookies were definitely a highlight for sure. Great job Fairfield.

My only complaint is the bed was too soft. They really need to upgrade their mattresses to be more firm and supportive. Other than that my overnight stay was okay.

Parking hazard at one end. One pulls into area only to find it full. In doing so ones only option to to back down a very sloped hill to get to other parking.
