Large clean rooms, great breakfast

Exceptional all around except for the roof top restaurant filling up with non-hotel guest. We had never stayed here & while we were waiting on our room the front desk lady suggested we walk around and familiarize ourselves with the whole place. We were celebrating our daughter's 12th birthday and when she saw the roof top restaurant that was all she requested to do to celebrate; no bowling, no arcade, no amusement, just eat dinner under the stars. Unfortunately they were reserved out weeks in advance. Other hotel restaurants we have been to always reserve some tables for hotel quests only. I highly suggest this place follow that plan. She was heartbroken and even though she got to pick out her steak at Texas Roadhouse (and chose the biggest one) she still talks about wishing she could have eaten at the roof top restaurant and Im leaving this review 3 months later. That's a long time for a 12 year old to feel heartbroken over a missed opportunity.

This is a beautiful hotel with about 15 minute walk to the downtown area. We loved it!

This hotel is perfect! We actually looked up when it was built (2023) because everything was so clean and nice it felt like it was brand new. The rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view, and excellent food-make sure to make a reservation because it fills up fast (with good reason). The breakfast was fresh with lots of options, some made to order, and they offer a cocktail hour with complimentary drinks and light snacks. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone traveling to the Asheville area.

Housekeeping was hit or miss, though... The website says "daily housekeeping", but we were there five days/four nights, and the beds were only made twice, new towels came on the fourth day, ran out of toilet paper and had to request extra, and trash pick up was barely done...we had to track down housekeeping to empty the cans. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The only suggestions I'd make there is don't put tea and sweeteners and creamers etc so far away from the hot water dispensers... also change up the fresh fruit -- not everyone likes melon and more melon.

the Breakfast was excellent , the rooms were of a good size and very clean with a very comfortable bed . The free drinks and nibbles in the evening were a nice touch. Views from the roof terrace were amazing. Staff in the restaurant seemed very busy and our meal took along time to come out but the manager gave us a discount.

Our arrival was earlier than expected and was greeted with such service! Got into our room early and was very impressed with the size and the layout. Separate sleeping /living room areas. Loved the walk in shower and bed was super comfortable. Front desk shared a list of restaurant suggestions which was very helpful. Walk into downturn was easy, less than 10 minutes which made it very convenient. Two complimentary drinks started the evening, nothing but good vibes the whole stay. Breakfast was great, nice spread and even custom omelets being offered. Thought we got a good deal, but all the perks made it fantastic. Highly recommend.

The only problem we had was when all 3 of us plugged in our cell phones the fuse blew and we were in total darkness until maintenance came and flipped the breaker. Apparently you must connect directly to the wall and not into the outlets by the lamps.

Some from our group went to a downtown concert. A different subset the next day to the Biltmore. This location was convenient for everything. Very clean and very friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel, very modern and relaxing lobby area, friendly front desk staff. Nicely stocked sundries shoppe including adult beverages which was a nice touch. Adding Celsius would be really awesome as Redbull is gross in my personal opinion, so just a diversity in energy drinks would be a great plus. The food is where this place really shined! All of the breakfast and lunches were AMAZING!!!! The food & beverage staff were all amazing and very accommodating as well. The banquet rooms were really large, well air conditioned, and the audio/visuals were great. Our conference was lovely and I really enjoyed it. Clean public restrooms, and very large hotels suites. My room was large, spacious, with a clean bathroom and a dark bedroom which was fantastic for sleeping. Sadly I did not get a chance to visit the rooftop but I heard it was great. Overall great stay and I would come back for sure.

EVERYTHING about this hotel was excellent! It's a beautiful place with friendly staff, clean as can be. The breakfast is plentiful with anything you could want. It's convenient location makes it easy to navigate the city. The rooftop restaurant with sunset views of the Blue Rigde mountains and food can't be beat! Loved our stay here!

Excellent location, great food, extremely clean. 99% of the staff were friendly and very helpful. One of the bartenders (I believe the manager) was rude and demeaning. During the social on Thursday my girlfriend and I ordered two beers and I really didn't like the beer so I asked for an old fashioned and the manager bartender was rude andhe said I no I can't serve an Old fashioned because you have a beer. With No further explanation and just walked off and wouldn't explain why. I asked another bartender who nicely explained why. On Friday night I asked for a double Old fashioned and the same manager bartender Said he couldn't put two old fashions in a glass and was rude about it. He acted his ass if it was was below him to explain why. So I asked another nice bartender why.he stated that old had two shots and NC law states only Three shots can be served at one time. I had no idea how many shots were in an old fashioned. The nice bartender said he would ask his manager. The manager came over with a smug attitude, I told him I had no idea how many shots were in an old fashioned. He turned around and shook his head. That type of attitude is unacceptable for the prices i pay at that bar. Then the bartender manager want to want one of the hotel staff and pointed us out. Totally uncalled for. This was my girlfriend's and i's first drink that night. Because of this demeaning treatment by your staff I won't be back.

I requested a 2 bedroom suite didn’t realize they considered a bedroom with 2 beds and then the couch area another room. I was looking for 2 different bedrooms with beds and doors then the couch area

The food was amazing at Soprana and the breakfast was wonderful also. Big bonus for the complementary drinks for the 21+ guests. We have already booked another stay with Embassy Suites!

I don't think this is a $400 per night hotel, that was a little much. The cost was the only negative... While a very nice hotel and a great location, it should be a little more reasonably priced. This hotel would be better suited as a $250 per night facility.

We travel as a family with two dogs. We have stayed at this embassy three times and love it. We have never had an issue. It is clean, has a wonderful breakfast, and is in walking distance of downtown attractions.

The valet team and breakfast staff stood out—they were friendly, respectful, and genuinely made the experience better. Breakfast itself was good quality with a solid variety of options. There were a few issues that impacted the stay. Breakfast, while good, was very disorganized—the layout caused congestion, especially with the omelette station placed in the middle, creating long lines and making it difficult to move around. More concerning was the handling of room maintenance. Despite informing staff that we were staying, our room carpets were cleaned while occupied, leaving them damp without proper notice or consent. This created discomfort and concern about staying in the room afterward. Additionally, housekeeping was inconsistent—we had to repeatedly request basic service such as cleaning, restocking items, and making the bed. Early morning cleaning noise also disrupted rest, which defeats the purpose of staying in a hotel.

Stayed with my two kids, husband, and mother. The room was clean, staff was very nice, the breakfast was wonderful, and we enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks! Would definitely stay again!

We arrived at 4pm after a long road trip and was greeted by a rude front desk teammate who told us our room was not ready and couldn’t give us a time of when it would be ready. I had to go to the rooftop bar with a six year old and wait an hour and a half until the room was ready. Then we went to the pool which was dirty and looked to have not been cleaned in a long time. There were plates of food in the lobby as well. Overall, it was a poor experience and I will not be back.

Friendly reception as soon as you hit the valet area. Inside desk associate was super nice and checked us in swiftly. The elevators were extremely slow the entire visit (4 days). A hot tub would have been a pleasure after our long drive. None on property. Room was exceptional, clean and spacious. The breakfast was a delight.

This is a fabulous property! Complementary drinks and snacks for happy hour and a gorgeous rooftop bar and Italian restaurant with the most delicious food. I also had the best espresso martini of my life. The rooms were clean and beautiful with a great view of the mountains. The rooms were also very spacious. We all truly enjoyed staying here.

It was beautifully designed and decorated. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was perfect. Not clear signage as to where the “front” of the building was for checking in. The valet parking charge was higher than anticipated for a small town. While sitting in the living area, the fan was very annoying and cold draft on head and neck. There was no way to turn iff the fan or redirect the air flow.

It's all nice and clean. But. The breakfast place, however pretend fancy the omelets might be, is just overrun ...like an airport lounge where something free is offered. Fair to say, that the owners of Hilton would not in a million years stay at their own hotel: a fancy, glossy cattle class appropriate for the milking of the average-off. I won't be back (and the family 2 room suite, has no windows in the living room part, and the sofa bed is rubbish - even for kids). The staff is super nice and engaged - none of this is their fault I'd say

This is a great stay for location. Lots of things that are walking distance. The hotel is spacious and clean, staff was nice and the bar was fun. The only thing I did not like what that they only have a valet option, you aren’t allowed to park your own car. So if you have somewhere to be schedule time to wait for your car. Also, the way their drive way is set up it gets hectic at check out with a lot of cars blocking the driveway. I wish I could just access my car on my own.

This was easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in years. The valet staff were welcoming and professional, and Cassidy at check-in provided outstanding service. Our room was clean, spacious, and featured stunning views. The Michelin-star rooftop restaurant was the highlight truly exceptional. 10/10, would highly recommend.

The room was absolutely perfect. EVerything was wonderful except finding the valet parking was hard to find and get to. The roads are narrow. I called for help and the woman at the desk kept giving me the wrong directions LOL Besides that, we loved the hotel itself. Friendly staff, very clean and beautiful

Did not have breakfast. However, room service was disappointing because I tried to reach the front desk and room service by calling with no answer. Finally went down and placed my order, which i carried up myself. Furthermore, I think charging $3.50 for a cup of coffee when checking out was a bit much.

Spent my birthday. Hotel was good, pool was quaint but will do since it’s heated and my kids loved it, although the 2nd day that we went there the bleach odor was so strong. They only do valet parking, which was convenient for us.

It’s a standard, rather typical American chain hotel. It’s clean, staff are nice, rooms are decent, beds are fine. Breakfast is the same every morning but they do have an omelette station and that’s good. They do offer an afternoon happy hour and snacks which is nice. The hotel is close to the downtown area and walkable. I’d give the hotel an overalll 4.25 out of 5

Room was not clean (wiped floor down with a towel because my shoes were sticking it too … and the towel was absolutely filthy !!) valet parking inconvenient with many hotel goers waiting for their cars for a long time … breakfast was amazing best free breakfast at a hotel I’ve ever had … lighting in room awful, 2 doors in bathroom constantly slamming into each other not a good design … Soprano restaurant just eh did not love it lol the hotel restaurant in lobby was very good I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious ! I probably would not stay here again

This place is awesome. Walking distance to all the restaurants and the breakfast is amazing.

Fantastic, real breakfast. Super attentive staff. Close enough to walk anywhere you want to go in downtown but also out of the bustle enough to be relaxing.

We were traveling through on our way to Charleston. It was a quick visit, but the hotel was nice and a great location.

It was great. Felt like a new hotel. My kids liked the pool with the jets. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. The coffee, omelettes and fresh waffles were the excellent.

The property was emmaculate.

Comfortable suite. Nice breakfast, and evening happy hour. I'm not fond of valet parking but only option given. Beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant. Vegan options would be appreciated at the restaurant.

Our stay was amazing, the hospitality was great and the rooms where execellent/clean. The roof top restaurant is amazing and great experience and a free happy hour drink is just a small bonus. Highly recommend and would stay again, no doubt.

However we wished the pet friendly area for dogs was grass instead of wood mulch.

Rooftop restaurant, was excellent with a beautiful sunset view. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast had an omelet station, in addition to Continental/American style that is the only thing offered. Would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived at the hotel the valet crew were very professional , kind and intelligent.

We were extremely impressed with this hotel! It doesn’t hurt that it was only two years old…everything was immaculate and in tiptop shape. Special highlights for our family of four: the rooftop restaurant had great food and even better views! The complimentary drinks at 5:00 pm were a great treat! The pool area was spotless. The lobby was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a cut above in quality, especially with made to order omelets. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. And it was a three minute walk to all historic downtown restaurants, clubs, galleries and shops .

The complimentary breakfast menu is quite extensive. Our only challenge is that the desk in the room was so large it left only a very narrow pathway in the room - we resolved by turning it sideways. Otherwise the accommodations were quite satisfactory

Good location. Newer hotel so everything was clean and up to date. The bartenders at the lobby bar were super friendly with plenty of recommendations to visit while downtown. Only negative was the rooms did feel a little industrial and not as “welcoming” as some hotel rooms. Overall a really good place to stay.

Great hotel. Custom omelets with the breakfast were an excellent touch.

The Embassy Suites staff was attentive to all of our requests. Other than limited coffee and food options in and in close proximity to the hotel, all other hotel accomodations and amentities were top notch.

The bathroom was not clean. The shower floor was dirty, the soap, lotion was used. The toilet paper roll was half way gone. One of the breakfast staff was rude.

It was very nice and new construction , however, I prefer the old style open lobby better.

Overall, very nice. The valet parking at $30/day (+ tips) was too much on top of the room price. Also, there were no drawers for your clothes. Instead of a desk in the bedroom, add a dresser. Finally, it's nice they offer custom omelets. But, it's no good for vegetarians because they don't have separate cookware.

My one negative is that there was not a concierge and the desk staff was not trained about about attractions in the area.

We were very pleased with the overall experience at this hotel. The only comlication was EV charging. This hotel DOES NOT have their own EV charging station. Charging is across the street in the adjacent hotel lot and is $30/night, and their are only 3 chargers. Parking at Embassy Suites is $25 with use of a valet.

The hotel was nice and quiet. In walking distance of downtown. The only disappoint was the pool was freezing and no hot tub. Breakfast was wonderful.

One thing after another with this hotel. We stayed in the one in Charleston that was amazing so we chose to stay in another in Asheville-night and day difference. It was not for us but it may be ok for others. I wouldn’t recommend. We have NEVER had to call the front desk/supervisor so many times, in fact we never have to call. One arrival, the toilet was clogged, no problem. We called and approx 1/2 hr later someone came to fix it. It happens-no problem. We start to shower to go to dinner and the shampoo is empty so we call again. I usually travel with my own, but we were going multiple places and it was one less thing I felt I needed to bring. We waited almost 45 mins (mid shower) and had to call twice. Now I am wondering if the room was ever cleaned. We ran out of the 3 towels we had for 4 of us on day one after traveling all day to arrive. We called that night to see about getting towels in the am and trash removal etc. We have stayed places where they don’t clean daily so we wanted to check. They ensured us they clean daily. We left for the day and arrived back at 5pm to no cleaning, no towels. We had to call again….another hour passed and we had to call again since we needed to shower before our dinner reservation. The front supervisor ended up having to bring them up, even though I offered to come and get them. Again, nothing major happened but for the price and quality I expected since the Charleston hotel was so good-it was disappointing. The rooms were even blah. 😑

Asheville is a hidden gem, property had a beautiful rooftop restaurant with gorgeous views. Great breakfast, happy hour and location to downtown Asheville

Everything was almost perfect except we paid cash at the rooftop restaurant and they charged our credit card anyway. We were told the charge will drop off but so far has not.

We ate at Soprana Rooftop Cucina. Everything was fine with the exception of the Gentleman at the entrance.....who was either not in a good mood or was just a snotty person. The waiter was exceptional.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! I would give a rating higher than five stars if I could! The location had nice dining options in walking distance and an excellent rooftop restaurant. All staff members went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We will definitely visit again in the near future!

Excellent customer service, beautiful room. They were very accommodating with our motorcycle and trailer. Excellent breakfast options!

I would suggest that the hotel sign be lower on the building so people know where to turn into the building.

We enjoyed our stay!

We booked a 2 bed queen suite. The hotel overbooked and moved us to a king suite with pullout couch and didn’t communicate the change until we arrived. The pull out couch was the worst I have ever seen. You could feel the metal bars and springs. My back hurt after 15 minutes of laying on it. The hotel thought the pull out couch was equivalent to a bed, it was not even close. The hotel offered to move us to the queen suite the second night.

Everything was very clean and the area is very nice. Staff was amazing-from the front desk, to the bartenders, servers, and valet. All were kind and helpful, going out of their way to help, provide assistance, and provide recommendations. We had an amazing stay!

The card requirement to use the elevator was very inconvenient and unnecessary. There was not enough parking for the overbooked guests from a college event. The other advice is that your restaurant is open for lunch also so there is another food option on site. The hotel was very nice and clean
