Not the nicest place at all but the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. Fridge worked. TV worked.

I should have had a clue when I arrived at 5 pm and had to use the after-hours window to check in and could not access the lobby. My room had a musty smell and I was not sure, but looked like there was urine in the toilet bowl. A maid entered my room without knocking to give me a single towel I had not requested. Later on, a man kept knocking on my door and calling for Linda in spite of me telling them to go away, The following morning at 7:30 am a woman kept knocking on my door until I looked out the window. My door had a deadbolt, but did not have a security chain or bolt. I did not feel safe in my room. There was also a lot of noise after hours.

For a few more dollars, you could be in a really nice place (Like the Best Western).

Very nice place very comfortable great amenities I got there they didn't order the rates that you guys gave me instead I had to pay a 20 extra dollar fee. I said this was because I had an ID card that was also addressed in Asheville. I just moved here and I'm waiting to try to get a house only need some more stay for a couple nights. I did not get another room there I instead of did you sleep inside my truck because I didn't want to get charged extra or completely turned down like they were trying to do it first.

I liked the location of this motel. The price was affordable. The king sized bed was nice. The room was very dirty and you can tell the rooms need some TLC. The lamp next to the bed didn't have an outlet close by so couldn't use it. Bedside table smelled like urine. The water pressure was also very poor.

Actually nothing. But once I checked in..I became very ill. Physically couldnt take trying to pack all my things & leave. Got a tetanus shot just to be on the safe side once I could leave. Again became very ill. For four hours listened to people above us stomp around like baby rhinos until 3am. I went to them personally & asked to be some what light footed.. didnt even mind the blaring music. That didnt work so after ringing the front desk bell for 15+minutes, a very sleepy employee, asked with an attitude what I needed. I explained the people upstairs were gonna stomp a.hole through ceiling, I tried to handle situation but didnt help. I just wanted a refund & would be on my way. She refused & said she would make them stop, an hour later.. still the same.. I finally flipped my shit. Another employee in pj's said I was being disrespectful & walked away from me. After showing my ass again.. please keep in mind I have never complained about service anywhere!! Im the customer that helps calm other customers...I guess the look on face said it all bc very grudgingly they refunded most of my money & I slept in my car at Cookouts til.morning.

To me it looked like by it being a smoking room the care an time taken to make it presentable was lacking. It could've been cleaner. There was mold on the ceiling and holes in the walls and doors. A rather large bug was killed shortly after getting settled in.

Normally I don't complain but this experience has turned me off of traveling. We have never had such a bad experience. We didn't get a room, seems like they had many people living in the motel. Staff were very rude. We drove back 250 miles to our home. I would recommend staying away from this motel and east Asheville

I am waiting for a refund. I was there for minutes before I left and booked another room somewhere else. The room was very stinky, there was random something dripping on the wall, the door was filthy, the mattress cover was stained, the lamp was stained and there was a big bug just chilling on the wall. The staff was nice but I could not stay there! It was gross!

It’s a low cost motel one shouldn’t have a lot of expectations at these rates. Staff is always friendly and straightforward It’s not the newest spot in town.

The location was the only positive part of the stay. I was in town to attend the homecoming game at Mars Hill University to watch my nephew play. Where to begin The AC unit had a dead roach inside right next to the control panel. So either the facility didn't care or found it acceptable, either way it was inexcusable. Rooms were non-smoking but the bed sheets had clear burn marks. Why not just dispose of those sheets in general b/c anything less just comes off as the sheets must not have been washed. So either the facility didn't care or found it acceptable, either way it was inexcusable. Hair all along the floor borders in clear sight. So either the facility didn't care or found it acceptable, either way it was inexcusable. BLOOD stains in the shower in clear eyesight. The staff member came with Fabuloso to clean up the blood. Get rid of the shower curtains and the duvets, because we can tell they are not being washed. The vending machine didn't take bills but had no option for a card, and no change machine to get coins. I would recommend at least adding water to the list of beverages that you provide so either the facility didn't care or found it acceptable, either way it was inexcusable.

The room was horribly disgusting and not even 2 minutes of checking the room prior to bringing bags in, I checked out and requested for a refund. The bathroom had stains, the room smelled and the property was not a safe place for a family. Just one thing to say, the pictures are deceiving and you cant make this up. Never again! I wouldve given 0 stars if i could.

I've been staying here for years and it's progressively gotten worse each visit. But again, you are getting what you pay for. Toilet clogged just trying to flush after urinating, room was non-smoking but smelt awful, and because it's cheap you get some real undesirable characters staying around you. It's a great place if you're just in town for the night and only in your room for the sleep, but if you're actually trying to have a good time in town for an extended time and want to feel safe and comfortable for the evenings spend your money elsewhere. The biggest pro is you're on a straight shot on Tunnel road into downtown and bypass access is just up the street. Few things in walking distance for convenience (Waffe House, convenience stores) but nothing really worth visiting if you're vacationing nearby. Lots of chains, etc.

the add on trivago, expedia all said they had breakfast, even showed the lobby, when I got there, the lobby is closed, no breakfast, the bed covers had cigarette burns, the carpet was worn out and frayed, when i turned on water at tub, brown water came out both times. the AC was loud and did not cool the room as it should have

the web site had continental breakfast listed-but we were told due to covid not available anymore-. The towels were white with dark black stains. we had to ask for new towels every day. the bed was made first day but not the next. The building is run down. The trash was not emptied. Just was not a good experience.

Filthy and rundown hotel room, I’m not sure it was actually cleaned before we checked in. It reeked of chlorine when we walked in, however. TV made a loud humming noise, and lighting and heating were not the best. You get what you pay for.

The hotel is a dump. WAY overpriced. The room was dusty, comforter filthy, walls paper thin, pillows stained, piles of laundry in the lobby. The manager did give us a new comforter when we complained. I would never stay here again. We would have asked for our money back and gone down the road to another motel if it wasn't late.

It is a budget hotel The price was 300 per night which is what a budget hotel goes for in high demand weekends in Asheville. Just set your expectations accordingly

Here are some examples: The outside is in dire need of re-painting and maintenance. Every window of the room entrances has a metal pipe to secure the sliding glass from opening. The main light fixture in the room was an economy type fixture. The carpet where you enter into the bath area was so raveled that you could see the padding. There were heavily soiled stains on the furniture and carpet. The furniture had several scars of rough treatment. Heavy, unprofessional caulk beads lined the bathroom joints, corners, and abutments. The room had a smell of cigarette smoke masked by air freshener product (it was supposed to be a non-smoking room). Where we ended up staying was less than a half-mile away, and only $20 more for an overnight rate. There were no bars in the windows. It was deemed as a 3 star hotel. The EconoLodge reported as a 2 star but is more like a 1star... maybe. The EconoLodge offered us to look at another room but I declined; I could see a bar in that window, too.

Everything was excellent! I had been driving and needed to soak and relax and stretch out!! I was not disappointed at all! Room was clean and bed was comfy!! Felt refreshed and ready for the next day! Thanks for a great night

I reserved a non-refundable room for $47 through Expedia. When I went to check in I was told since I lived within a 60 mile radius it would be $100. I couldn't afford $100 so I spent the night in my car and lost $47.

It was a busy weekend so we paid $100. The floor was a little sticky, we couldn’t control the heat on the shower very well, the sheets on the bed are like paper so when I would move around at night it would wake both of us up. It had a gross smell as well.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind. Our three rooms were all together. Everything was clean and safe. Great location.

The property is a $70 stay tops we went at a peak and it was $175 which is insane. The good was no bugs, friendly workers, and good ac. the bad was a missing smoke detector and corners of the room and behind the dresser was filthy. Also we found a bandaid stuck to the wall.

Things are a little different because of COVID (No breakfast, cannot enter lobby, etc.), but overall it was a good option for an overnight stay in the area.

First room had sticky floors and not towels. Moved to another room with mostly cleaner floors. The bathroom needed major upgrading, but was usable. Skipped breakfast because it looked sad.

When ever i got there the woman made me pay 40bextra dollars or she wasnt going to let mebstay an the money was non refundable so i had to pay it. Yall need to let this be known before ppl book there rooms

Terrible experience. The room was still dirty and had a very unpleasant odor. Bed sheets and comforter were also pungent. Paper thin walls. I also was charged a bogus $150 for a pet which would be fine if I had a pet but I suppose where the room was so nasty to begin with the pet coulda been there a month ago. $300 to stay in a nasty smelly hotel room, I could have stayed at the grove for that. Unbelievable one of the worst experiences in my life. Save your self the trouble and sleep in your car before you stay here.

The walls are very thin making things very unpleasant when the bars let out at about 3 in the morning...more education than my child needed. Water safety alert for Asheville was not announced to guests...guess I should have kept up with that on my own...but would have been nice to alert us of the issue. This is more of a hook up hotel apparently.

They overcharged me at checkin because I used Expedia and said they would refund but never did. I had to make additional phone call to get the money back. Beds were very confortable

However, beds were comfortable and didn't squeak. AC worked well. Shower had hot water. We didn't see any bugs. Everything worked. For a budget hotel, it served its purpose.

It was horrible. I ended up having to call the police due to the room beside us having a party of 20 at 3am. There was nails sticking up out of the floor. I will NEVER stay here again!!!

Continental breakfast - not impressed at all. Cereal (dry) Milk, Fruit, Toast and Muffins

Bed okay. Fairly quiet. Breakfast very poor. Two options for cereal were both sugared. Bread for toast was white. Chocolate donut holes and cinnamon buns were options. Had to ask about yogurt. Coffee good if you used cereal milk rather than creamer. Apples were available. Manager required $60 on credit card for “amenities”! No Kleenex in the room.

Employee was nice and helpful but... the room was nasty!! Carpet was ripped up and stained. Did not even try to vacuum it. My finally straw was the finger nail clipping in the carpet!! GROSS!!The toilet still had urine strains on it!!

The room was awful. No towels in the room, standing water on the bathroom floor, bed lines were dirty and dark brown spots on the ceiling. Needless to say my visit there was all of 20 minutes. Even though I was not able to get a refund I left. I won’t be doing that again. An expensive lesson learned!!!
