Very good

The room was really cleaned and the convenient and affordable onsite valet was great. We were able to walk to lots of things downtown too

great view of Asheville and the mountains. The bar and outside restaurant also have a great view. Complimentary champagne is available in the lobby, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that parking was valet at $22 per night which was not indicated when making reservations.

Great location. Can walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was lovely. They had a party on the 4th floor with dance lessons. I didn’t attend but saw from the elevator that it was well attended. Looked like everyone was having a great time. Free glasses of champagne on arrival. Room with 2 double beds was really big. Parking lot is valet only so bring cash for tips. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful views and great location next to lots of restaurants and shops! It seemed like there was low water pressure in the bathrooms. Otherwise, no complaints.

Staff was friendly and room was clean. This is an excellent location to walk around downtown Asheville. We stayed on a higher floor with great views. We had a few odd things with housekeeping and valet. There is no option to self park, you have to do valet and it costs $22 per day. That seems high when you have no other option, plus no one told us there was a cost for the valet so we found out when our credit card was charged. Housekeeping also only cleaned part of the room, which is fine just odd. Also, if you want breakfast at the hotel, make sure you check the hours. We wanted a slightly later breakfast/brunch and the restaurant closed at 9:30 am.

Very nice property right in downtown Asheville. Staff was over the top friendly and very helpful. Starting with the valet to the front desk staff to housekeeping everyone was very nice. Room was very nice with extra touches like Bluetooth mirror and power shades. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Valet parking reasonable compared to other cities and very convenient. Great location - we have stayed here before in 2019 and would stay again!

Valet parking was convenient and not over priced. I had a 9th floor corner unit with an enormous bed and windows looking both east and south, a very nice view. Breakfast staff in the restaurant (Hemingway's) were very friendly and very efficient.

The staff was very friendly and professional, especially the front desk clerks, restaurant servers and valets. Perfect location, walkable to many places we enjoy. We will definitely come back. And the champagne at check in was a nice touch. Next time we will get a suite, other than that zero complaints.

The location of this hotel is great if you’re going to a concert at the auditorium. It’s also in a safe neighborhood with plenty of dining and shopping options. However, the area beside it has space for semi trucks to load in during the night. You can hear them backing up and beeping, which is annoying. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to skip this hotel.

Location is excellent. Genuinely friendly staff who seem happy to be working there. Just wish there was more of a larger lobby that was cooler to hang out in. The set up is nice, but it does not what I was expecting.

The location was great and central. Also the view was amazing every night we had a beautiful sunset over the mountains. The room had a boutique feel to it.

Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced Water was offered during stay, had to buy my own No offer of water, had to buy Vacuuming while we are waiting to leave , not relaxing I was getting alot of messages about joining the club, I wasn't interested

I was so impressed with Cambria Asheville. The location was perfect and the staff were all helpful and friendly. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world and I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone!

My husband and I stay here often because each time we visit, our stay is superb. The staff is always courteous and professional. Our room is clean and comfortable. And we always enjoy Hemingway's Cuba!

Great location in town. The rooms have all the things, microwave, fridge, safe and coffee maker. The down side is they replace towels daily, BUT no cleaning, no making of the bed, disappointing. The valet attendants are amazing and they provide a great service.

The staff and restaurant was great. However, when we arrived in our room the bed pillows had several hairs on them. I called the front desk and they promptly sent hospitality to resolve. We had no other issues during our stay. We loved also the convenience of everything being within walking distance too.

Having a front desk draw parallels between their perception of my economic status to my car was awkward, and they’re clearly lacking in formality and basic etiquette. Great stay! Customer service was amazing and the location is in between everything. The only downside were the wash cloth’s were worn and there was no free breakfast when the snow storm hit. All places were closed except the restaurant on site and we had to pay although the weather was beyond our control.

Requested after 3 days if we could get our sheets changed and we were told there are extra sheets in the closet. No dresser to put clothes into so had to live out of our suitcase. We would never recommend this hotel. We go to Asheville often and will stay at those proven nice in the past.

The room was spotless, very tidy, the staff was very nice! My biggest complaint is the AC unit in the room was SO loud, it kept waking us up every time it would switch on. It sounded like a jet was about to take off in our room.

The young man helping guests unload cars was less than helpful. He pushed a luggage cart toward us that had to be stopped from running into us.

The Cambria also has some of the most well run elevators of any hotel I've ever stayed in. the heater was broken and the technician's attitude was pretty rude talking to us. we ended up moving our room to next door so we lost over 1 hour to take a break before dinner. I wish they have some breakfast service. The view was fantastic and overall I am satisfied. The staffs are all fabulous.

For no charge. The girl that canceled the reservation only canceled one of the two rooms and then on Thursday I started getting all kinds of charges on my credit card. The Cambria hotel started charging me. I had to call four times never could talk to the general manager. They did finally reverse the charges but charged me for one night stay when we weren’t there. Very disappointing because it was their mistake for not canceling both rooms like I requested, i’ve had good luck at Cambria in the past, though

Almost everything was excellent. One thing I would suggest would be a grab bar on the back wall of the walk-in shower between the entry and the shower head end. Some of we old people have balance issues and such a grab bar would largely eliminate that as a challenge..

The Staff was AMAZING! The young man at front, (sadly I did not get his name) and Owen the valet was super pleasant, high energy and treated us like we were friends. My ONLY complaint was the cleaning room woman who LIED to our face when we asked if she was going to clean our room. She said yes and when we came back later that day, it was not cleaned. Beyond that it was an amazing stay and we look forward to coming back to Asheville and staying there again.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to explore downtown Asheville. It's an easy walking distance from many shops and restaurants, and the hotel itself is comfortable and beautiful with a rooftop bar that has great views.

Very nice hotel in a great location! It was lacking though. There is not enough storage for clothes…..maybe if you’re all alone. We didn’t have enough face cloths and towels and had to ask for more. Parking is $19.00/day and with the price of the room, it should be free! This isn’t Chicago! We wanted to stay an extra day (a Saturday) but the cost of another night skyrocketed to over $500! Complimentary coffee was a Keurig in the lobby…Com’on!! Really? Location and cleanliness saved the day.

Room clean, staff friendly and pleasant. Bed comfortable, TV and internet good. Complementary champagne on arrival.

Loved the convenience of walking to everything. Room was comfortable and clean. Valet parking on site. Restaurant was very good - would suggest they need a little more help behind the bar. There is a great roof top bar for sunset watching but it was difficult to order drinks because the bar tenders were so overwhelmed.

The staff is always friendly, the rooms are a very cool set up with top notch blackout curtains, and the restaurant was awesome.

Excellent hotel and location!

We had tickets to a downtown venue, so I was looking for a hotel that was walkable to that location. After reviewing proximity and photos of the hotel, we decided the Cambria would be our home for the night. The hotel has an in-house restaurant that we didn't get to try on this visit but there are other walkable choices for drink and dining really close by as well. We were first welcomed by the valet staff which was an efficient process. The registration staff were very friendly and also had us on our way to our room in minutes along with a complimentry glass of champagne. The room was spacious and contemporary and the bathroom was also large. I really loved how open and airy it was. Our 11th story room also provided a great view of the city with mountains off in the distance. The room was very clean which is very important to me. The beds were comfy and a welcome place to fall into after our concert. One last thing was security and access limited to the elevator to residents with key cards only.

Stay 3 years ago was fabulous which brought us back. However this visit was far different. Things started with our room assignment was found to be occupied by another family. The restaurant was wholly understaffed, housekeeping skipped our room only to circle back at 7 pm after repeated requests, pillows are built for giraffes - when asked for lower profile pillows because my 8 year old and spouse could not use them management said they would check and report back - never did. Otherwise all good.

The restaurant at the rooftop was very unorganized and the food and drinks were terrible. There were umbrellas on the floor and couldn’t even walk to enjoy the sunset.

Friendly check in experience. Valet check in after normal hours was kind of strange, it would make more sense if I could park my car myself. Room was clean and comfortable.

We loved it here! Our corner room had a fabulous view of the city! There were many dining options within walking distance. The staff was absolutely top notch!!

Hotel was nice, great customer service and excellent location. However, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable for a five night stay.

Beautiful hotel! I really loved the location. You can walk to just about anything you need. The room was very clean and had great views. The roof top terrace was very nice with plenty of seating. I will definitely stay here again.

The happy hour champagne every evening was an unexpected nice touch. However, the lobby sitting area was not very comfortable or inviting. Other hotels had more inviting seating in their lobby area. The lighting in the bathroom (in the room) was not very bright for applying make up but it was spacious. The mirror had a Bluetooth button but it did not work and no one at the front desk knew anything about it. The room was large, spacious, well designed, clean, and quiet. All upper rooms had a nice view of the mountains. The room had a mini refrigerator, closet, and a small safe. The service for breakfast was slow due to limited servers but the staff was nice and as accommodating as they could be. The front desk and valet staff were pleasant and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

The view was outstanding. Wall size windows on the 11th floor made every view breathtaking. The room was open with a modern feel. Easy access to most areas. Valet staff were top notch. Hemingway’s restaurant on the 4th floor was delicious. Salsa lessons are offered. Easy walk to shops. Just about perfect.

The location is wonderful. The room was large, especially since we were three adults. Clean and we had an upper floor room with beautiful views. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location. Only negative was bed was well used - it had a sunk in spot exactly where your butt hits. Parking is via valet only. Rooftop bar is on the 4th floor of an 12 floor hotel, but otherwise a nice space. Overall, a very nice stay and would stay again.

This was our second time staying at Cambria. Great hotel and excellent location!

Spacious and very clean room. Love the entry way of our room but I think they gave us a larger handicapped accessible room due to limited availability. There was a wedding party on property that weekend. Our room’s entryway has a mirror and hooks for coats. The windows were large and the view was quite spectacular of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We were able to see the sunrise and it was glorious. The window was equipped with automatic black out and sheer shades. It was a very nice feature and gives the room a very clean modern feel. The coffee machine and fridge were situated next to the closet with a large inset mirror but the lighting is soft, so not a place to apply makeup but can be a second choice for getting ready. Water pressure is weak in the shower, more towel hooks would be desirable for hang-drying multiple towels. The vanity mirror LED lights are not sufficient for makeup application. An overhead canned light or vanity light would be good. The AC is adequate but loud when it comes on, as if someone is flushing the toilet next door. Room door is on the thin side; therefore, hallway noises is easily heard. Thankfully, the room was spacious and the bed was far enough from the door and guests weren’t rowdy that weekend. The bathroom was cavernous with a wide sliding frosted glass door. It is quite nice for wheelchair access but loud and bright when used at night. Valet oarking only for $19/24hours. It is $4 more than a nearby parking deck per day

This is a wonderful hotel; staff are friendly, rooms are clean and spacious, views are gorgeous, and it is in a very walkable location. Scored a great deal on Expedia.

Perfect downtown location for a birthday getaway. Music venues, restaurants, ice cream shops and the Woolworth Gallery, and so many shops withing walking distance. Loved that we never needed our car too. The magnificent Basilica of St. Lawrence was a block away and is a must see.

Comfortable beds, nice decor, clean, friendly and helpful staff, delicious Cuban restaurant, only thing missing IMO is room service and the ability to log in to streaming accounts on the TV.

Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Parking was quick and easy. No fresh coffee in lobby is a deal breaker. On vacay hubby sleeps late and I like to read and have a cup of fresh coffee.

We had a great stay at Cambria. My only issue was the roof top bar was rented so we didn’t get to experience the roof top views. No seating available so was very disappointed

We like this hotel and would stay again. The rooms are large with great views. The pillows are terrible. Too large and hard, I had to sleep with my parka as a pillow last night !

I paid just a few bucks more a night to stay in a higher floor and it was worth it. We were in a two queen bedded room, 1103 and the view was amazing!

Perfection!! Great location, clean & extremely comfortable. Our corner room, 2 beds & bathroom were all large - wonderful view of the Basilica, water pressure & products. Appreciated the valet too!

Great location and quick check in. I am stayed here several times and never disappointed.

The hotel is modern and clean however, we definitely had some issues. Keep in mind, thisis an inexpensive hotel so you should not have high expectations. housekeeping does not come unless you request it and they don't tell you that at check in. The people who work at the front desk are not knowledgeable about the area and are not extremely helpful in general. The icemaker didn't work on our floor. The gym was always out of purifiedwater. There was no water pressure no water pressure in the shower. We had to call every day multiple times for towels before somebody came. I called to speak to a manager and the person at the desk put me on hold for 15 minutes. I never came back. I finally spoke to a manager named Derek, who seem to be interested in my concerns. The rooftop bar is great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Asheville.

This was a very pleasant stay from valet parking to the check in to the comfort of the room. This was one of the most comfortable room I have stayed in. Shower was amazing, view was spectacular from the room to rooftop. We will be back!

Our corner room on thr 8th floor had outside area that was larger than our room with beautidul view of the mountains. The bathroom mirror had Bluetooth which was cool.

Very nice room. Valet parking and room service was great. Not really impressed with staff when calling the front desk, didn't seem very knowledgeable, when asked about staying an additional night. Other than that excellent service and property.
