The loved the decor of the room, and it was immaculate. The bed was especially comfortable. The Westin Crystal City Reagan National Airport is a great option if you want to stay close to the airport.

Bath: tub very slippery w/ no tub mat to prevent slips, toilet lower than elementary school’s, and no grab bars in shower/tub - a health and safety hazard. Getting access to WiFi was a nightmare/ not at all user friendly as even admitted by the front desk staff. Transitions from elevators to carpeted floors make rolling suitcases an other nightmare. I will never consider staying here again, especially at the exorbitant rates you charge. Strong points: staff courteous and helpful 5 stars : airport service excellent 5 stars.Restaurant staff also…5 stars.

1 big negative: the min-refrigerators in the rooms only stay on for 4 hours, then they shut off for 8 hours! Ridiculous. Have never seen this in any other hotels around the US! Drinks and meds can't stay cold.

When we returned hot and sweating after a trip in the city and wanted to take a shower in the room, we were shocked to find that the bathroom shower was still clogged and unprepared. We had complained early morning about the clogging as soon as we could get someone in the Reception. Finally, they apologized and changed the room. It was quite inconvenient and we will not stay here again.

The Westin hotel was a joy!! Clean spacious room with service handled immediately. The metro is a block away. Whole foods is 3 blocks away. Very convenient for our Memorial weekend travel. Will stay there every time when in DC area.

Nice place great staff however for this to be a Westin hotel they do not have many amenities that people need when staying at a hotel. Such a microwaves for guest to use in a common area. Another thing they are lacking is good tv channels as well.

The cost of parking overnight in their underground parking garage is NOT included in your stay. The cost was $50/night. There was nothing to let us know what the cost was until we got there. Way too much to pay. They also nickle & dime you for breakfast. There is no continental breakfast and a cup of coffee costs $3. We may stay there again, if in the area, but I'll research for cheaper parking. $50/night is ridiculous.

The service when I first arrived was polite and helpful. The room was very clean and the design of it was excellent. Only negative is I heard from the front desk staff that the breakfast buffet was discontinued. Hopefully they plan to eventually bring it back since in the past when I enjoyed it the selection was excellent as well as the taste of all items. Overall though I enjoyed my stay and will be planning on staying here again.

I was so dissappointed with the hotel's service, accomodations, and cleanliness. The room smelled like Paint, the room service did not respond, the TV did not work like most Marriott properties, bathroom soap containers broke off the wall, and more.

Stayed for a one night after a canceled flight, left before sunrise. But the property is nice, the rooms are renovated and really modern, and it felt luxurious. I would stay here again.

The omelet for breakfast was excellent! Furniture in room 303 was very worn and distressed. There were cigarette burns on the tops of furniture. The bed was uncomfortable despite being called "heavenly". Shower was very weak. Overall, the room needs updating.

Lows - Small things.. Shower was equipped with a rain head as well as handheld sprayer. The switch to turn off handheld was broken. Also, the TV was locked down to only channels/content provided by hotel. The hdmi/usb ports were disable and I was unable to connect my laptop to the TV.

Great stay !!! The hotel is very very close to the metro to get to DC. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were incredibly comfortable.

Expedia didn't pay the hotel for the room. I arrived and the reservation wasn't transfered to their system!!!

When I got to my room after check in it hadn’t been cleaned. Ironing board was still out, bed was a mess, hair in the sink in the bathroom. The staff made it right by giving us a new room. However in the new room the refrigerator didn’t work. All almost $60 for hotel guest to park is a lot

Extremely disappointed with this Westin...surprised I have to say that. Never had issue with one before. Shuttle wasn't running even when they said it was/would be. Waited 30+ minutes then called repeatedly on a slow Sunday night - at least 25 minutes until somebody picked up after so many automatic hang ups. Staff was blase at best about whole thing...

This is a jump-off spot for the airport. It was perfectly fine. Rooms clean, bed comfortable, staff competent Weather was rough—not the hotels fault! Last minute booking because of a cancelled Delta flight. The price was excellent value for money. The rooms were great as well as the staff. The provided free airport shuttle was a great bonus! Everything was great. Nothing to dislike.

The property was very clean. Very welcoming. Our room was on the 12th floor with a decent view. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely as well. No complaints. We will stay again if we are ever in the area.

I was charged twice for this stay, once through booking.com and once through the hotel itself. Not sure how that happens but unacceptable

Walls are extremely thin! You can hear EVERYTHING from adjoining rooms.

The rooms were nice When we booked, it said parking was free and it wasn't. It was very expensive (around $50 per day) but luckily we found free parking about a block away, but that was inconvenient. Also, the staff on day one was not informative and couldn't seem to help leaving us confused upon registration. The wifi kept blocking us out or hardly ever worked.

This Westin does not live up to the Westin name. It is in serious need of an update/refresh. Beds are NOT a Westin Heavenly Bed. There is a bar with food, and a decent shop with snacks and drinks but the overall impression is shabby.

We rode the airport shuttle to the hotel and used the metro for the rest of our visit, which was only a block away. There was plenty to eat within walking distance.

I chose to stay at the Westin as a treat to myself for my birthday and I must say I was sorely disappointed. I expected a very elevated property rooms more modern definitely comfortable and calming and relaxing, but the whole hotel was like a time warp. Everything felt like I stepped into the Brady Bunch home. Very very dated furniture that looked like it was left over pieces from the thrift shop. Curtains were dirty with holes in it and they wouldn’t close completely at night. I was really looking forward to a great Westin bed which I’ve heard so much about this being my first time staying at a Westin. The pillows were not great at all. The sheets had holes in them the side table at chunks broken off of it. I just really expected a lot more from this brand. They didn’t even offer splendor or Stevia at the coffee station, and I was told that they only had sugar and sweet and low as choices for sweeteners. However, I will say that it was clean and staff at front desk were very helpful and courteous. I did take pictures of everything that I just said except for the sweeteners about my room, but had no way to post them in this review. Overall, I was very disappointed, but at least I had a place to lay my head at the end of the day just not exactly what I thought I’d be getting.

Parking is overpriced. The continental breakfast was okay - not worth what the price we paid for the room, in my opinion. Overall, an OK experience for us as a little family of 3 with a 6 year old. This hotel is definitely more for doing business than for having fun with the family.

Our flight had been delayed multiple times and eventually canceled. We had not showered for 24 hours…so amazing to have a hotel that would provide us the basic essentials since our checked bag was hundreds of miles away in a different airport.

The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfy and i alept great! The in room coffee service could use improving though, plan to find a coffee shop if thats how you start your morning, I loved Colada! Was in easy walking distance of everything I needed. We walked to Sushi Garden for dinner and loved it, thanks for the recommendation!

Everything was great except we never received any clean towels. We were there for two nights and we asked for some to be delivered to our room and it never happened. Other than that it was so nice! We loved the complimentary lemon water and the breakfast buffet was amazing!

The hotel and staff were good. I stay in Arlington regularly and had never used the Westin until this trip. The parking fee of $50 per day in the underground garage was steep, and as a guest, you have to pay just the same. No discount, no comp. Be prepared as this isn't stated when booking. Had dinner at the Nutrio restaurant downstairs in the lobby. Food was good and prices were as expected, however the sole waitress was also doing double duty delivering room service meals, so wait times were a bit longer for our drinks and food, despite it being quiet, with only one other couple in the entire restaurant. Its also unclear when you go to the restaurant where to find the staff. The rooms were comfortable, and clean and well maintained.

The place was wonderful and clean. The showers are both normal AND with a portable shower head for those that need it. There was a McDonald's not too far, and pharmacies within a few blocks. Near the airport, and near all the famous spots in the DC area.

The hotel was very convenient for our trip to DC. Th on-site restaurant was clean and the food was great. Everyone was nice and helpful. Bonus points for being across the street from the Metro station. We will definitely stay again when we revisit the area.

First stay for us at this property and would return. Especially good for us visiting family in DC on a weekend as this area has minimal weekend traffic and congestion. Doubt we’d use during the week as area looks business-centric. Very walkable to local restaurants and seems to be safe, for the overall area it’s located in. Rooms were quite dated, but we knew that going in. HVAC super quiet and important to us as we’ve been in DC places with really noisy units that were constantly running.

I booked the room the same time as friend staying there and she got the same booking for significantly less. I tried to speak to mgmt and also customer service and no one would price match which I think is unfair. I have stayed at this hotel for the last 7 years in a row and I feel unfortunately, I may have to look elsewhere this year due to the company being unwilling to price match.

This is a small Westin. The lobby and bar area are together, but very cozy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location of this hotel is perfect. The METRO is across the street. There are lots of restaurant options and it is easy access to the airport and DC. If we needed lodging again in DC this would be on our short list.

Nice property. Of course we were there during very cold spell. The lobby bar and breakfast area was very cold. They had a nice watch party on second floor for the trump inauguration.

This was eh. For the cost It should have been nicer. I'm not super picky but if I'm going to spend $400 for a room I want it to be pretty darn good. The room was acceptable...just worn and needs an update. The reception and lobby area of the hotel is just odd. I'm not one to usually care but there is a single desk and no room to line up and the bar is smack in the middle so I had to schlepp alot of stuff in the middle of people having drinks. Just weird. Our shuttle driver was very nice and he was the best part of our quick overnight stay - and that is the reason we stayed there to have easy access to the airport - so, for that it was good.

The clerks at the desk were awesome. They were so welcoming.

The Westin was great.

Airport transfer was great. Location is phenomenal- a simple walk from so many great restaurants in Crystal City. Metro is one block away (I took it straight to a Caps game & back to the hotel- EASY trip!). The hotel is somewhat dated, but the price is good for the dating. Staff was constantly checking-in to see how I was doing. Overall, an enjoyable experience & one that I would replicate again.

The staff was exceptional; in particular, Yemariam was at the reception, Azeb was at breakfast, and the evening bartender was excellent.

Limited restaurant. No club lounge. Breakfast disgusting. Limited menu. Keycard on outside does not work after midnight, must bang on door to have someone let you in. Rooms are service on a daily. I had to clean my own room even as a platinum member

There is someone that texts you to make sure your stay is going well and you can virtually check in and the hotel will text you once your hotel room is ready. Hotel lobby has a full bar and has Happy Hour Specials too! I left my phone charger in the room and they were able to get it back to me later that day!
