Great location. Upmarket amenities, accommodations and food. Perfect spot for moving my son to his Arlington apartment.

After an incredibly stressful night, arriving at 5:00 a.m. with my child and needing a place to stay, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. From the moment we walked in, everyone was understanding, professional, and genuinely compassionate about our situation. The room was absolutely amazing—clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and exactly what we needed after a long and exhausting journey. The level of hospitality exceeded my expectations and made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. The location was also perfect, with convenient access to everything we needed during our stay. Every interaction with the staff reflected the high standard of service that the Ritz-Carlton is known for. Thank you to the team for turning a difficult experience into a positive one. Your kindness and outstanding customer service will not be forgotten. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Everyone was customer service oriented. Everyone was very professional. The hotel is in great shape. Our room was comfortable and our house keeper, Dina, was tremendous!

It was like staying in a 3 star hotel . I booked a RITZ CARLTON. How they manage to call this property a Ritz is beyond me . The rooms are from the 1970s, they don’t even have a dental kit in the amenities, the only good thing were the staff . It was an extremely tired property.

Friendly staff, from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant. Had three meals at the restaurant on site, all very good. Music was a little too loud -- more of a bar atmosphere than a "high tea" atmosphere. But everyone bent over backwards to ensure we had a good stay.

Staff in every situation were extremely thoughtful and helpful. This Ritz was not the "special" one expects from this brand. For example bed sheets were ill fitting and gave the impression the bed had not been changed after last guests. Complementary water bottles were of the most thin plastic and almost folded in one's hand. The mini bar was compartmentalized so any item temporarily removed was automatically registered as as a separate room charge.

The location was very convenient for shopping, food, and entertainment. The font desk reps were very nice and very helpful. The room was clean and even smelled clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. The bathrooms were a bit small and crowded.

Every staff member we encountered during our stay made a sincere effort to make us feel appreciated, important and at home. It was like staying with friends. I’ve never experienced that in a hotel before. Lobby probably needs a little updating, no big deal.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, which I especially appreciated during a busy December trip. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything in the room felt high quality and well maintained. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and upscale. The location is also a big plus. It’s convenient for getting around, and it made our stay a lot easier since I didn’t waste time commuting back and forth. Overall, it delivered exactly what you expect from a hotel, excellent service, comfort, and a refined experience. I do absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable luxury stay in the area. Room does not have refrigerator

2nd time we have stayed at Pentegon City Ritz. We have been fortunate enough to stay at many great hotels, but none can compete with this hotel. The service is so far beyond anywhere else, from the second you check in, they refer to you by name, the property is immaculate and very high end, room was great. As for location, its not too far from DC landmarks, and right next door to the Pentagon City Mall. There isnt anyplace like it, and if you just want to be impressed on what good service should look like, this is your place.

Everything was very clean and well equipped. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive, and all were very friendly. Excellent service throughout Bathroom was not really equipped for elderly clients. Low commode, no walk in shower, few grab bars.

We were on our way out when we met Anita, what a breath of fresh air she was compared to the other individual we were dealing with. She gave us a map of the area, tourist activities and directions. The next day she asked how it went, took time to listen and made us feel like family. She took great care of us and our grandson everyday we were there. When she was off for the day we were sad she was not there to greet us. She was absolutely amazing!!! The other ladies and gentlemen were as well, but Anita went above and beyond!!! We will never forget her. The Valet service was outstanding. All were very accommodating. However, Ashagrie, the Guest Arrival Expert, very helpful and took great care of us daily. Providing us not only with great service but paid extra attention to our grandson (2 yrs old) listened to him when we returned, gave him high fives and fist bumps. There was another gentleman who's name began with an "R" but I don't remember it. He came and told us goodbye on his last shift. We will be back again!!

On this visit I was unfortunately stricken with a bug that prevented me from checking out on time and they did everything they could to make me comfortable. I cannot say how much I appreciated their care and concern.

This did not feel like a Ritz at all. Location was great bc it’s connected to a mall and Metro station. There is no pool or spa. This property is pretty run down and in desperate need of renovation.

He made sure we had whatever we needed throughout our entire stay, and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful as well. The room was well-appointed and the bed even had Frette sheets which was a super luxurious touch that I very much appreciated. I will absolutely recommend the Ritz Pentagon City to anyone staying in the area.

Do NOT STAY HERE. While the food, drinks and overall service were excellent. The room was just disturbingly outdated and old. The painted walls had a yellowish tint from age. There was rust around the handles in the shower, the bed was a frame with a wooden headboard GLUED TO THE WALL with grime on the wall from past guests. The bottom of the bed frame was visible - metal poles with wheels at the bottom, full of dust and just tacky. It was disgusting and not for the price that I paid. Worst Ritz that I have EVER stayed in and shameful to the brand name. NOT luxury or 5 star hotel. I want my money back. When I expressed my disappointment while checking out, the hotel’s attendant admitted that they stayed once and would NEVER STAY AGAIN.

The toilet struggled to flush properly, which was quite inconvenient. After turning off the sink, there was an odd noise from the water pipes. The property never shared that they had an ongoing issue with their heating system. The room was freezing although the heating controls indicated that it should be warm. We called the front desk more than 4 times for help, but there was no answer. At 3:30a.m. we had to go to the front desk because the cold room temperature was unbearable. We had to wait for the cleaning person to find the front desk person, who told us that he would send maintenance to our room. The maintenance person arrived with a space heater for our room and explained that the main heater for the entire building had been broken for several days, which was later confirmed by hotel management. Our room cost $500 per night. At this price-point, and the quality that The Ritz-Carlton is supposed to represent, rooms should not have to have space heaters for warmth and the front desk personnel should be able to be reached 24-hours. Several years ago we had an issue at this exact hotel, and chose to try again since so much time passed. We made a HUGE mistake. Minimally, customers should be made aware of severe issues known to management prior to booking.

The property never shared that they had an ongoing issue with their heating system. The room was freezing although the heating controls indicated that it should be warm. We called the front desk more than 4 times for help, but there was no answer. At 3:30a.m. we had to go to the front desk because the cold room temperature was unbearable. We had to wait for the cleaning person to find the front desk person, who told us that he would send maintenance to our room. The maintenance person arrived with a space heater for our room and explained that the main heater for the entire building had been broken for several days, which was later confirmed by hotel management. Our room cost $500 per night. At this price-point, and the quality that The Ritz-Carlton is supposed to represent, rooms should not have to have space heaters for warmth and the front desk personnel should be able to be reached 24-hours. Overrall the property/staff/service was great. My friends and I stayed here because we were running the Marine Corps Marathon. The "complimentary" coffee didnt start until 630 am Due to an earlier start of our day because of the marathon we asked if coffee could be accessible a little earler, we were told no but we could order room service and have it delivered or a fee. We paid $26 for 3 coffees! Coffee that would be "complimentary" less rhan an hour later? Its not about the money..just the principle.

The staff is the absolute best! The location is steller. The beds are so comfortable and the updates made to the hotel overall look great!

There is nothing special or luxurious about the room. This is not identical to what was displayed on Ritz Carlton's website. I'm uncertain about whether the food served at the hotel restaurant was Mediterranean. It's not worth the price. In conclusion, the experience at Hilton was much more favorable for me, and it was less than half the price that I spent at Ritz Carlton.

Opened door, very foul smelling like body odor and curry cooked soaked place. Called and complained, and wanted refund, property owner refused, and now I’m out $800. Stay away from this place, the owners will not do anything for you but take your money

It’s the Ritz. Always top notch. Location is a heavily developed area adjoining shopping mall and off highway. Convenient to Arlington and Pentagon.
