The hotel is well situated with a modern and beautiful esthetic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and has an omelet bar for custom orders. Bed was comfortable. I'm picky and like good quality mattresses. I would definitely visit again.

The room was stuffy/humid n musty smell. The pillows were flat/uncomfortable/old. Other than that the service n staff were great.

Always our to-go for stays: Embassy suites, and this site was no less. The rooms were clean and serviced everyday, staff were friendly, breakfast was a variety and good quality.

We stayed at the property two nights for a quick family trip to see the museums and monuments in DC. Location was good. Quick walk to metro and a quick drive in to DC to see the monuments at night. Breakfast at the property was a time and money saver for the family. Quality of the breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant were friendly and attentive. Now the bad part. The desk manager was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by my questions. The room was dimly lit and not clean. One set of sheets had bloodstains and there were candy wrappers on the floor. Bathroom was not clean and there was hair on the floor especially by the toilet. Thankfully we brought some cleaning supplies.

Parking fee of $50 per day seemed excessive

We had a family emergency and got into DCA at 2am. They had a room ready. With a friendly staff member checking us in. Room was ample and clean. Took a bit to get the hot water. Otherwise it was pretty much perfect

Staff was very helpful in preparing for my unexpected early arrival and had accommodations waiting and service with a smile. Happy hour was nice and the gym is very intimate

Hotel location is good, on a walkable distance from the subway station and also from the airport. There are also some coffee and food shops nearby that you can reach by foot. The room is spacious. The water flow in the bathroom sink and shower is laughable, almost non-existent; washing your face or your hands require a TON of patience and effort. The room is noisy, you can hear the noise from the cars on the streets nearby all the time and you will also hear noise from other guests in the common areas and corridors - it seems like a quite busy hotel and from the room you can hear plenty. No silence at all. Hygiene in the breakfast area is concerning and most of the food options are way too greasy. Overall a disappointing experience.

The location is excellent, the hotel is very nice and comfortable. One of the hosts was rude but everyone else we encountered was incredibly nice and helpful. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to stay there again.

Everything was great!

I get that it was the peak season weekend, but Kevin was the only staff member who actually was working overtime and ensuring customer satisfaction. I say this not just since he gave us a warm welcome with a birthday card and cake for our little son when he turned 3, but I also saw him work overtime during breakfast rush hours. Breakfast was a good spread indeed and the suite was very clean and spacious

The hotel is very good, excellent in every way, and they tried to resolve the problem we had with hotel.com not sending the reservation 😊.It seemed very strange to me, since I've always done it that way and they had never let me down before.

We booked 1 night with breakfast buffet… the hotel was nice clean ang comfy beds the problem was the the kitchen staff special mention name noiemi the old pady in the kotchen that’s very rude… treat us really bad…we just a little bit early coz we thoguth it was 6am braekfast started and she was yelling at us to get out loke we don’t pay out stay there…we already talk to the manager hope that he will give proper action and education to thier employee toward customers…and don’t allow them to talk on thier own language …they need to speak english!!! That noah name is races…she did not even bother to apologies for what she dis..and that lady that work in omellete also being rude to us as ig she cooked omellete properly..

the hotel uses multi-use shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers. The containers are too high on the wall, even I as a 6' person could not see how much was in my hand when getting product out of the bottles. Body wash not refilled when needed.

The property was clean and in a good location I had no hot water and no water pressure during my stay which put me in a very bad situation being that it was my first visit to the state and I had early plans that I had to cancel. Also, my digital key card did not work. They did multiple resets and I was still locked out every time I left my room. So I had to go back and forth from the 5th floor to the help desk several times. It was not a good experience. However, the GM, Kevin, did send me an email after my stay providing a sincere apology. He did provide an incentive in points to make up for the inconveniences.

I did not like that parking was $50 per night. That was absolutely ridiculous. I think it’s ridiculous to pay to stay at an establishment and they charge you to park in their very own parking lot. Also the bathroom needs some updating. The shower faucet was complicated and hard to figure out the water temp.

There is a constant strong smell of weed in the garage from what looked like employees smoking. No issue with them smoking, just find a spot outside somewhere not in the building.

Embassy Suites took us in and gave us a roof over our heads after that terrible company American Airlines cancelled our flights for three straight days leaving us stranded in an airport with 2 children under 4 years old.

Nothing Lies about the room size claiming the living room counts as one room when that’s not what the description says, the room wasn’t clean, the light in the bathroom flickered relentlessly when turned on unless you smack it it in to stop it, hid the $50 a night parking fee that you apparently have to pay even if you park at the front of the hotel or get towed, only refunded $200 of the refundable bullshit fee they make up for incidentals and charged my card for $100 when we didn’t use anything to warrant that I never even review on here but this was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had anywhere in my life please do not wastes your money on this hotel it’s not worth it in the slightest!!!!

Very exceptional service, from checking in to the happy hour, creative experience with the welcome into our rooms. Everything was just so well organized and would highly recommend for future stays ! Nothing bad to say about the property.

Everything was so nice and efficient. Breakfast was really impressive and the free drinks were an excellent touch! The parking fee. I think that should be disclosed on the page when you go to book the room. I was surprised it was 50 dollars.

I liked the breakfast and courteous staff. The location was really good. I needed a room for the night because my flight was cancelled and it was close to the airport. I was told that I could schedule a shuttle to the airport. When I got downstairs, the worker stated nothing has been set up but I could schedule one then. The lady at the front desk called with no response from the Shuttle. So I waited a while then ended up calling an uber. The uber got there before the shuttle so I road the uber.

We liked that the sleeping area was separate. Also, that it was in close proximity to the memorials, monuments, and airport. We were sad that we missed breakfast. We needed help with the room and someone arrived to help as soon as we reported the problem and was really nice about it bring it was close to 11 pm. You are our “go to” on our next visit.

By the third night my wife and I began feeling ill with respiratory issues, specifically coughing and shortness of breath. We initially thought it was a cold however lacked many other common symptoms such as nasal congestion, body aches, sore throat, etc. I looked at the AC register and vents in the room and discovered black mold. I had informed front desk staff of the do not disturb sign, housekeeping, and noise issue. The guest behind me had the same complaint; he too asked for a do not disturb sign and complained about the noise from last night. I informed front desk staff of the black mold issue as well. The desk person said they would look into it. I did show him the photos on my phone as well when explaining the issue.

Never have I had to wait so long to check in. The woman Helen has no customer service skills. With no one around, she continued typing rather than check me in-tired from a flight and hungry. I left my bag and went to sit in the chair across from her in the lobby. Another person came from the elevator and asked her a question. Unlike me who she told to wait, she proceeded to help the lady for a while then took care of me without even apologizing. As a doctor, I am aware of people waiting and how it irritates them so I always apologize to patients-even if I am on time-for the wait. The gentleman at the podium post was kind, courteous and helpful. He helped me find a CVS and a place to eat and asked me how it went when he saw me again. Great customer service. Perhaps getting more front desk people on a Saturday would help but hands down the worst front desk I have seen ever in any hotel.

I only stayed 1 night, and left early in the morning. Room was affordable, and big. Bed comfortable, the food in the restaurant was very good (wings/sliders/quesadillas) - and the staff was extra friendly there, and went over/beyond service. Parking garage was easy to maneuver - although pricey at $50/night. Only negative was that neither of our TV's worked. I didn't really want to watch shows, but would have been nice to hear the news while I was getting ready. There was "no signal" on both TV's - in living room and bedroom. Hotel appears somewhat dated with dark wood/doors and decor - could use an updated, and things should be repainted - but overall it was a 4 out of 5 for a slightly dated hotel. All toilietries were offered, although they are the eco-friendly ones - so the shampoo doesn't suds up, etc...but they are there. Iron/board/hair dryer/safe/fridge/coffee maker...etc. Views are nice of the city, appears to be many shops around - although I didn't have time to explore them. Hotel apparently offers pet stay - as I saw a few people with them - if you need that information.

I only stayed 1 night, and left early in the morning. Room was affordable, and big. Bed comfortable, the food in the restaurant was very good (wings/sliders/quesadillas) - and the staff was extra friendly there, and went over/beyond service. Parking garage was easy to maneuver - although pricey at $50/night. Only negative was that neither of our TV's worked. I didn't really want to watch shows, but would have been nice to hear the news while I was getting ready. There was "no signal" on both TV's - in living room and bedroom. Hotel appears somewhat dated with dark wood/doors and decor - could use an updated, and things should be repainted - but overall it was a 4 out of 5 for a slightly dated hotel. All toilietries were offered, although they are the eco-friendly ones - so the shampoo doesn't suds up, etc...but they are there. Iron/board/hair dryer/safe/fridge/coffee maker...etc. Views are nice of the city, appears to be many shops around - although I didn't have time to explore them. Hotel apparently offers pet stay - as I saw a few people with them - if you need that information.

I liked the walking distance to shops, public transportation, and places to eat. The room was quite comfortable, with a living room area to sit back, relax and watch tv. The breakfast featured a nice selection and was well stocked. What I disliked was the 2 drink maximum during the managers happy hour. All the Embassy suites I have stayed at offered a happy hour allotment of time (1.5 - 2 hours). And lastly, the management really needs to provide customer service satisfaction training to it's employees at this establishment. We were met with very unfriendly, lack of warmth, and very short responses from a majority of the employees. A friendly "good morning" reply when greeted with a "good morning" gesture would have been nice.

Be prepared to be charged 50.00 for parking. Literally used the garage for 20mins and got charge 50.00. If you can find street parking that would be my suggestion. My last time I went staff didn’t charge us for parking. This time they made sure to charge even for 20 mins. That is my only gripe about this place. I will be looking elsewhere for now on.

I have a hard time justifying $50 a night parking fee. I was a guest at the hotel. Not cheap. But in all fairness all of Washington DC is like that. I paid $25 to park just to go to dinner. Great hotel and great staff though.

The hotel was top notch. I had rented an apartment with a living room and mini kitchen area. The gym was solid and the continental breakfast was excellent. Service was solid. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is a beautiful suite and the room is spacious.

We had an ok stay. When we first checked in the receptionist almost charged us again for the stay even though we had already paid online a week earlier. The first night we decided to get dinner from the hotel kitchen to go. Definitely not worth the money. Dry chicken in the salad, cheese steak looked like steakems with a drizzle of cheddar cheese and no seasoning. A day later we noticed that between the living room table and wall, there was a piece of clothing and a bottle cap from the previous occupants. When we texted the hotel letting them know what we found, they asked if we'd like to get house service that morning, we agreed but when we returned that evening, the item and bottle cap was still there. Aside from that, our bed was made, bathroom was cleaned, towels replenished and floors were vacuumed everyday.

The breakfast options were great and the evening reception was awesome. Front desk staff and bar staff were great!! Our bathroom had garbage in the trash can upon arrival.

Property will overcharge you for parking when you did not park a vehicle and overcharged me for a bottle of water. The bathroom ceiling needed repair and the tub/shower handle needed to be replaced. The dresser in the bedroom were also warped. Complaints were made to management while there and afterwards. A credit to correct the parking fee was to occur as well as a correction for the small water bottle I purchased. An additional credit of the parking fees were to occur but was not. Please make sure to check what you are being charged for prior to leaving because reaching someone about the issues is/was a hassle.

My only critique is that the plumbing could be better. We had to hold the toilet handle down for a long time just for the toilet to start flushing. Other than that everything went smoothly.

All was great except we asked for a blanket for the pull out sofa and even offered to go down for it. We were told it would be delivered to our room and an hour later we covered our granddaughters with our comforter and went to bed. Blanket never came and apology was never issued. Disappointing as everything else was excellent.

The happy hour was nice

I visited here back in November and then again now in June for my birthday week. The experience significantly changed and I can confidently say I will not be back again. Staff and front desk service was poor, very cavalier and non-chalant behavior from them. On my first night, the room was at 79-80 degrees and we continuously called the front desk to have this fixed at it was almost 100 degrees outside. It took almost 3 hours of us complaining for them to switch us to another room. We still had to end up buying a fan as it was hot in that room as well. Had to go out of our way and call multiple times to get new towels. There was an elderly lady who tripped and fell over the hotel rug in the front and still, front desk showed really no urgency or concern for this woman. Please do better.

I thought they had a pool but they do not. The sink faucet leaked in the bathroom. The evening event each day was chips and veggies with dip and very limited on that. Patrons were aggressive and getting as much as they could because when it was gone, it was gone. Usually everything was gone by 6.

It was a decent place to stay. Lobby looks great but rooms could definitely use an upgrade. Rooms smell old. Customer service, checking in and surrounding area was great.

The manager did not apologize for the inconvenience, kept raising her voice, her tone filled with sarcasm. As a professional that works in the healthcare, I cannot stop midway their care when its 5pm and say I cannot provide any further service. I find a way to help my clients. No one took accountable at this hotel. The repeated excuse, this is a union hotel, the food is free was unacceptable. The food is not free, it was incorporated in the price. The doors should have been close at 10 am so that the guests inside would have been able to also receive breakfast that were in line. I will not be staying at this property again.

When I left my room, I saw the cleaning lady, with her cart, 2 rooms down from mine, on her phone. We briefly chatted. When I came back 6 hours later, my room hadn’t been cleaned and the food containers I had from the previous night were still there. Totally unacceptable. The TV selection is abhorrent. Located next to the Capital of the US and Fox News is not available.

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to pay 50.00 for parking for a hotel I already paid for. Where was i supposed to park my vehicle at if not at the hotel I paid alot of money to stay at? I was baffled but I was already so I had no choice but to pay for it. Other than that, it was a great experience and would recommend.

The property was like an over priced Super 8. The Embassy Suites used to mean something back in the day. Now its just minimum everything, right down to not having a TV guild or glasses in the rooms. $320 per night was out of line but I would stay there again for $150-$175, thats all its worth. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The shuttle doesn't run until 5:45am so it cost us more money to get to the Airport. Convenient to the Metro and other places to eat and drink.

Great looking property, but the heat doesn't get hot in the rooms. The 1st rooms hot water took forever to get hot and the air never got hotter past 73 degrees. Once moved to the 2nd rm the water got hot quick, but the heat wouldn't make it past 76 degrees. After calling maintenance they got the heat to 79 degrees in 6 hrs. I was as not hot as i like it so i can sleep au natural, but i was able sleep in a sweatshirt. I wont stay here again in the winter with the heat not getting hot.

I was falsely charged a $100 smoking fee and I do not smoke! I was by myself in the room. I used a curling iron that may have set this off but they refused to remove the fee. The supervisor claims that they have a system that detects smoking and that housekeeping found evidence of smoking in the room but failed to provide said evidence. Other than that the hotel was awesome.

There was little to no hot water from both the sink and shower. Not acceptable given how cold it was and that access to hot water is a basic need.

The property was close to the airport. The accessible room was very large and helpful.

Trip with 3 friends was great, very clean, plenty of room & pull-out bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff very helpful & happy hour vouchers were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Shower water was barely lukewarm, had trouble keeping the room warm. Service was great, room was very clean. Price wasnt bad, was a little upset we had to pay for extra to park in the garage or anywhere on the grounds. We had 2 cars so that was $200 more than i expected. Think i will plan on another hotel for the next trip at Easter.

For a Hilton I expected a little better. There was an issue with my room and it was called to be fixed but the problem wasn’t fixed. I was told that it was going to take a few hours for the issue to resolve. That’s not something you want to hear when you are spending a good chunk of money on a stay. I had to be the one to ask to switch rooms due to how much of an inconvenience it had become. The room that I was switched to was more of a downgrade of what I originally paid for. Plus parking was a bit of a fight. It was either not enough space in the garage or the parking spaces were so close, it was concerns about others damaging our car. Other wise, breakfast was good. Loved the complimentary drinks per person as well. Love that it was peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean and cozy for the most part.

I have stayed here a few times now and almost everything was great. Just two very small issues: 1) Our soap container was empty and never refilled even after I asked the housekeeping staff and the front desk about it; 2) there was only one remote for the two TVs, which seems very strange. Other than those things, though, it was very good. Have stayed before and almost certainly will again.
