    Booked due to its convenient location next to the metro. Arrived to be told the metro station was closed for the entire weekend. This was a scheduled closing for construction that occurred after I booked my room. The hotel did not send any notice of this prior to arrival.

    The hotel was amazing I loved every minute of it but they over charged me.. I arrived via Uber and was charged $50 ish a night for parking as well an additional $54 random charge on my credit card will be reaching out for an explanation other than that, this is a amazing place to stay

    I loved the staff member that checked me in. She went above and beyond to accommodate me for our one night. I only wish that we were also allowed to enjoy the free breakfast. It was only free for some. I was not included. I was not allowed to have access to the breakfast

    The hotel was clean and there was ample space for me to sit. I attended a conference and I felt it was handled well. I really thought it was a rip off to have to pay for the internet. Also had lunch on site and the food really wasn't very good.

The restaurant/bar staff were awesome. Kudos to those who waited on us Friday and Saturday night, as well as the waitress and the bartender on Sunday afternoon. It rained on Sunday morning! However, the hotel does not control the weather! It was kind of hard to find the microwave. My partner and i had to hunt to find it.

    Only stayed for a quick overnight stay near DC - checked in late and left early, so I did not experience the full offer of this hotel. However, the room was as advertised, prepared and clean, and the valet service met my expectations. The location is conveniently right across the river from the National Mall, and is easy access.

    The shower was hot, even after all four of us used it. Every staff member we came in contact with were friendly and warm. The room was very clean and you couldn't hardly tell the proximity to the airport. Breakfast staff were wonderful and the food was pretty good, although we felt it was overpriced. The A/C ambient noise probably helped not being able to hear traffic, airport, hotel noise, etc. The bed we had was probably close to needing replaced, as there was a clear human shaped hole on one side of the mattress that caused the lighter person in the bed to roll down into the heavier all night. While I recognize supply/demand and time of year, the parking cost (54 a day after tax) on top of the already expensive 2 night stay, I feel like a discount from the posted daily rate when staying at the hotel would be an incentive.

    I never stayed. I didn't utilize the property and management has yet to call me back about my refund that should've been sent to Booking.com and canceled properly. What I don't like about the property is how difficult it is to contact management and speak to a manager at the front desk and reservations. Housing made service. You can't reach a manager anywhere and if I can't reach a manager, I'll never need to stay at property where you can't reach a manager this is sad and unprofessional. I've been trying to reach Mr. Seymour for days. He never calls me back.

    The room was cool the lounge was nice. I would’ve gave at least a four star but the security staff a Mr. Yaozi was awful unprofessional and rude. Kept hanging up on my fiancé and myself that’s if he decided to answer. We left our keys in the room when we checked out and was calling to retrieve them later that day. We informed him that we lived out of town. He lied and said our room was occupied but it wasn’t. To be honest I’m not even sure if Mr. Yaozi even really looked. There was no evening/night supervisor so I couldn’t even report or go over his head. Beware of security!!!

    The web site indicated that wi-fi is included in the basic hotel rate. IN fact the hotel wants $12.95 per day for wi fi. That's not acceptable. I expect a high end hotel to include internet in the room. I will not book a hotel that charges extra for wi-fi. Come on it's 2026! Wi fi should be standard just like a tv

    The mattresses are extremely old and worn out with no support. I experienced the same issue when I stayed last year, and it appears they still haven’t been replaced. Unfortunately, I can’t stay here again because the lack of sleep significantly impacted my business trip.

    I attended a conference here and was very pleased with the guestroom, meeting room facilities, food and beverage. The only disappointment (which was a big one!), is they didn't offer room service for lunch or dinner and when I called, I was informed that the restaurants were not open and I needed to 'leave the hotel' to get lunch. Very surprising since the sign in the elevator said "Why Leave- everything is here!" or something to that point. I highly recommend that this property always have some type of food and beverage, above the packaged sandwiches in the 'grab and go' shop for their guests.

    Their manager should improve his responsibility at job. I booked two suites but I waited for 20 minutes waiting the manager back from restroom to unlock it. How come I booked a room but I have to wait to unlock it? Also the manager came back without talking to me and gave me no explanation. After I checked in the employee does not provide information directing me to the elevator. The other colleague walked to me and remind me that I was going to the wrong direction. Thankfully they still have someone professional to cover their back. I will never come back to this hotel.

    I tried to order breakfast for my last morning at 12 midnight but it was suggested I wait til morning as I'd be picking it up on my way out to the Capitol. I never got breakfast as I had to rush to get an Uber with others. Lastly, I forgot to put on my hearing aids & realized it when I was already at the Capitol Bldg. I called hotel & a front desk person sent security to the room I'd already checked out of. Security confirmed there were no hearing aids but that there was clothes left behind. I was confused but asked to hold off cleaning room until I returned by 12noon. My suitcase was already checked at the desk. I got a new key & went to my room expecting that it would be as Id left it, but it had already been cleaned out & a housekerp8ng person was walking out with the wrapped Hagen Daas ice cream I’d left in the freezer. I asked for it back & she gave it to me. The front desk apologized that Security had made a mistake thinking the Marriott bathrobes were my clothes that were left behind. The male staff id spoken to from the Capitol said I was not checked out but I did. When I got back to the hotel I went to the front desk staff Emily who had checked me out around 8:30am. She said that someone reopened my room account.

    I chose this hotel for its proximity to a family member's apartment. We walked to a popular donut shop, a Whole Foods, and a farmer's market on Saturday morning.     Upon arriving to the hotel, we were amazed! It was the cleanest, biggest, and most friendly hotel we have ever stayed in, and we have traveled a lot. The beds were extremely comfortable. My husband has been having health issues and hasn't been able to sleep well in a while and he snored the entire night! The shower was the best! The front desk personnel and the restaurant personnel were very polite and helpful. We will never stay in another hotel the next time we come to Washington. Our only complaint was the coffee wasn't very good at breakfast, but it was included in our meal, so I won't complain. And housekeeping came knocking on our door two hours before checking out and woke us up. Other than that.... 5 STARS!

    The escalators were down so you had to walk up and down or wait for the elevator. They had one escalator dismantled and it was an eye sore. Two of the three elevators on the far wing were broke and there was a conference so they were often overfilled and/or you had to wait as there was 18 floors. The faucets in the bathrooms on the first floor by gym didn't work and other bathrooms meaning you couldn't wash your hands after using the bathroom specifically the sink by the gym which is unsanitary. Also, the cost of everything didn't make sense based on the facilities. The mirror in my room had cracks around it and the wall above the headboard looked like it had been a scrubbed and was discolored

    Arrived late and found no towels in the room. None. The first guy at the call desk was super nice, but after 15 minutes of waiting, I called again. That woman was terrible. She told me I’d just have to wait until they got them to me because there were other people with requests and food orders. I told her that was unacceptable since it was their mistake. Not much for customer service.
