    I was very unhappy with the cost of having to pay to park and that it was not listed clearly that it was $50...It was a flat rate and should of been listed on the booking...I would of stayed somewhere different that I did not have to pay that additional amount as that brought it over the cost of other options I could have chosen and it was not mentioned to me by the staff until my card had been run...This soured me on the experience as I just driven from Savannah and was just looking for a place to sleep for the night

    Bed was very comfortable had a few different pillow types on bed which was excellent. Linens were white and not shredded or stained. Large TV , we barely turned it on. Did not use refrigerator or microwave. One thing I loved is the filtered wster station by the ice machine. Make sure you bring water bottles, they wanted $7 for a small bottle of water. We did not eat there or yse any amenities as we were there to visit family. I know nothing if the parking, except it is covered. The shuttle from the airport was great, however, does not run before 5am. So it does not help early travelers. All in all, for comfort, clealiness I would give it a 5/5. When we are back, we will book here again.

    Rooms were clean, not too far from the places we wanted to visit without taking our car. Room service was good. They made the experience pleasant. I have been a frequent user of Courtyard Marriott hotels for most of my vacation trips because of their cleanliness and service. Courtyard Arlington provided us the worst check-in experience. I had checked multiple times before booking Courtyard Marriott Arlington for free parking. However, when we tried to check-in, the reception desk said we have to pay $49.99 for parking and that we might have not read correctly between available parking and free parking. Later when I was trying to park outside, I got to know from the same staff that he got us free parking. Since it sounded suspicious, I checked with manager who mentioned that we had free parking for the entire stay. I was extremely disappointed with how they tried to charge extra money on top of what we already paid.

    The hotel itself was not bad. Parking was $49/night which was annoying. On our first morning, we discovered ants in our bathroom. We didn’t think much of it and got rid of them the best we could. After we arrived back to our room after a long day of walking with our two young children, we showered and we getting in bed. I discovered an ant crawl on my son and got it off him. I think saw an ant in my bed and I had had enough. I called the front desk and the gentleman was apologetic and asked us to pack our belongings and go to the front desk and we would be issued a new room. Approximately 10 minutes later, after packing our things and getting the kids out of bed, we received another call to our room. A woman said there were no more rooms available. She said she would send up an engineer. I was not comfortable with this and proceeded to the lobby. Upon our arrival she immediately gave us an attitude. She asked us to have a seat in the lobby and told us again that there no rooms available. I began to look for another local hotel to stay at in the meantime. Once I found an acceptable hotel, I went back to the desk and asked if we could be refunded since we were displaced. Suddenly, there was another room available. We were moved and had no further issues. All of the other workers were very kind, but this particular employee was very disrespectful.

    This is a great location for touring DC. It’s just a mile from Regan airport. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel runs twice per hour. The hotel is clean and quiet. No problems at all

    My blow dryer didn't work. The room only had 1 roll of tissue for a 5 day stay, i called for someone to bring it but i to leave out my room and seek out housekeeping for a roll. The water goes everywhere and pools around the sink. I have to keep a towel or two around it to keep water contained. Design flaw i guess. The pillows could be fluffier, they are so thin. The room needed to vacuum a bit better, I kept finding hair on the couch, and the desk chair had crumbs on it.

    From start to finish, our stay was amazing. The staff (from front desk to the cleaning staff) were incredibly kind and accommodating, even with our special requests and needs. The food at the bistro was delicious every time we went and the rooms were clean and comfortable! Additionally, we came for a convention and the location to the convention space was literally across the street. Also, although parking was expensive, it was nice to have the car safe while we enjoyed our weekend. Nothing!

    The staff was so bad , all I wanted was a cup of coffee and I got such a mean angry attitude from a front desk person named Omar. Also the maintenance person was looking at me as if he was going to get violent toward me . I asked why he was looking at me and Omar became verbally aggressive with me . I was afraid to stay so I checked out at once with a very kind front desk woman . I will demand a full refund from either Orbitz or courtyard as I had to pay for another hotel also a Marriott in Herndon va. I stay at Marriott hotels frequently and was always treated like I should be .

    I am sure I am not the only that will complain about this hotel this weekend. I have never encountered such rude staff in my entire life. I don’t normally complain since I was in the service industry for years. From check in to departure they did not disappoint. I checked in to find the lot full. I had 4 rooms booked for marathon so my son went to parking lot and there was about 10 free spots. I had to call on inter-come be let in. The women at the Starbucks counter rolled their eyes at everyone. My son asked where the shuttle was for the runners and was told to follow the heard. There was no one out there. So he wasn’t sure where to go. The race was crowded and confusing and the hotel staff made it miserable.

    My first room smelled heavily of cleaning solution masking a smell of mildew so I requested and received a new room. The second room just smelled heavily of mildew. I gave up at that point and slept with the smell wafting around me. The room seemed clean otherwise. The water from the tap did not taste great. The hotel places $6 bottles of water in the room to compensate.

    Hotel is in a very good location, near DCA, the Metro, and restaurants. Room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. However, room was also very noisy. First source of noise was the buzzy in-room fridge; I unplugged it. Second source of buzzy noise was (I think) the fridge in an adjacent room. Difficult to sleep.

    So we were told there parking is full due to non resident and the only solution is finding another garage on yr own and there shuttles can’t help u or wait for awhile with ur family were ever until a some people leave it the weekend Sir that’s the way it is here unfortunately in the morning I had to get out of bed and figure out how to get back to the garage before being charged extra fee because off there time

    We never had in-room WiFi although we attempted each day; so down to the lobby to host zoom meetings. Housekeeping was spotty and one day never happened. Waited over 30 minutes for fresh towels and was subsequently late to a meeting. The overall attitude of the staff appeared to be they either didn't care or they didn't have the authority to do anything about the problems; either way is a disaster when you are selling hospitality, The Bistro in the hotel was always understaffed so the wait was long every morning. Also, never saw a car valet although the $46/parking charge per night was on the bill. Basics of hospitality are a clean, safe space to sleep plus basic amenities (WiFi). The location of the hotel was excellent for our needs just wish the service had been the same.

    After such a tough day of getting my flights delayed and then cancelled, it was so refreshing to get a room for the night. The room is very clean and cozy and just what I needed to reset for the next day. The staff was very understanding of my tough day and got me into my room as soon as possible. I’d definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

    Really nice inside and out. Only down side is that parking is pretty expensive. Thats the only reason I didn’t book with them the following week as well. I’d be staying for 4 night and $200 days for 4 days of parking is just too expensive.

    Microwave, ice machines only on alternating floors, no room service, no assistance when requested, SINGLE ply toilet tissue, tiny tiny coffee maker, inadequate staff, no newspapers available even to buy) After years of staying at Marriott, this hotel was a big disappointment.
