Always home when I come to Texas definitely 10/10 recommend

The location is good. When we got into the room the toilet had a leak and it began to flood the room. We shut off the water and called the front desk. They told us that they would just issue us a refund because they did not have any other rooms available. The then recharged the room for a second time and refunded that second charge. They have never refunded the original charge, the staff was very rude and then became unresponsive. Not only am I out money for a room we didn’t get to stay in, I then had to rebook another hotel and pay for that.

The room was nice and comfortable. Full kitchen and cookware and dishes available which was nice though we didnt use it. A nice big desk table under the TV was also nice for eating comfortably and playing games etc. We requested late check in and arrived late, the front desk was almost completely shut down, leading me to believe if I had arrived a few minutes later, I would have not been able to check and my room was non refundable... Ive never heard of a hotel desk in a major metro area not being in service 24 hours a day. Seriously. Outside of that, I had no interactions with staff right through checkout. The public areas smelled musty. There were no real amenities to enjoy. If you just need a place to sleep in between six flags trips, it works fine, but I would almost go ahead and get an even cheaper room if thats the case... And if you dont mind spending a little extra, I would recommend ALoft hotel next door. Its super nice and reasonably priced.

Was greeted by really friendly and helpful staff. Made for a pleasant stay. I was only there for a night but would stay again if another quick trip called for it :) Had what I needed for a one night's stay.

The room was spacious and clean, and well equipped. The location was also great - easy to find and get between Dallas and Ft. Worth, as well as other local attractions. Nothing of note.

The rooms were clean. But using the timer for the two burner cooktop was a bit of a time to figure out. The place is a little dated and can use some modern touches. As for the staff, very friendly and we're there to take care of any of our needs or questions. Overall it is a pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

make sure paper towels and toilet paper is available, no pillows were available for fold out bed. Need more kitchen equipment.

Never made it to my room Booked & paid in advance to avoid any problems once we arrived. Upon check-in I was stopped by the receptionist as I was signing paperwork. The receptionist stated that my room had flooded and he had no more rooms available. Lost & confused on how he did that. Had my room flooded I would have been told before arriving or before he began checking me in. We traveled 8 hours from Mississippi and were tired. We had to pay out of pocket for another room at two different locations during our stay. By far the worst birthday ever. We bought food to cook because this location had a kitchen. We literally had to give food away to anyone that would take it. I'd never book here again.

Great stay...the room was nice and large and the whole facility was very clean. The A/C worked great and bed was comfy. It was close to venue for a concert we were attending and was able to ride on the trolley round-trip.

Nothing! It’s a horrible place! They cancelled my reservation 5 hours before check in. They emailed me at 10:30am when I was already driving in from out of town and stated they overbooked. Who reads their emails while they are driving. Ridiculous!

Door did not lock, changed rooms. Next room swipe card worked intermittently, bathroom door locked shut. Guest tried entering my room as they double booked it. Lightbulb exploded above my head raining glass shards onto my head. Absolute nightmare. Lady at front desk when I checked in unhelpful

The staff is very respectful and sweet. They are very helpful if you have a question about anything they are open to help you. I would recommend for everyone to come check this place out. I didn't dislike anything.

Either the thermostat or the heating did not work. I could not get the room temperature to go above 71. I was cold. I turned the thermostat up to 79 degrees trying to get the heater to come on. It only continued to blow cool air. I used towels on the bed to warm up because the bedding was not thick enough.

A/c unit was DIRTY, too long to cool beds were to small. Not what we thought we booked.

The stay itself was fine very quiet and calm what I didn’t like is that there were syringes in the restroom and a spoon that was burnt from the bottom so I wasn’t able to use the utensils.

The staff was excellent and the location. The smell of the hallway on the third floor where my room was. It did not smell pleasant at all, thankfully it didnt seep into my room

Like Price work kitchen and chair in room. We book weekly. Stated 1 week booked second had confirmation but was asked to leave because they over booked. We planned to stay 3 months while his job lasted but had to pack A lot, take off work, find new hotel, move everything and unpack AGAIN! Not cool!!!!!

They charge a $100.00 deposit. I have stayed at this location and another in DFW. I am an older solo traveler and have never received my $100.00 deposit back from either location. I did not leave and mess. I got coffee out and also ate out. There was no excuse to keep my deposit.

Nice staff, kinda dorm like with outdated everything, smelled like an old Winston smoking Papa’s trailer. No hairdryer. No coffee or breakfast in the lobby. For as much as a night stay cost ($160) surprised so spartan and blech.

I reserved a 1 bedroom suite with mobility access shower/tub. Was told the don't have that. It took an hour and a half to find a room with the mobility access shower. The room they put me in was a downgrade, and was the same room I was in my previous stay there. It was substandard in every way. I gave they two tries, but I will never stay there again. I feel I deserve at least a partial refund.

We stayed there for football game and they had a trolley that gave us a ride and picked us up from game back to hotel which was so awesome. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was awesome as well. Just wish they provided breakfast but that was ok since room came with a full kitchen.

The staff was indifferent. The place looked patched up as if the person doing repairs was untrained. It stunk of mold covered by bleach. The area had rough looking kids walking everywhere that eye-balled every vehicle passing as if sizing up their next victim.

The staff were great and very responsive to get us a different room when the first one was not finished with cleaning and making ready. The facility itself is a dump! Everything is worn down - from the sagging bed to the partially broke recliner to the stench of the hallways.

The A/C in the room was hit or miss. It smelled very humid in the room. our stay was great !! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. our rooms were clean and fully stocked with what we needed. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be an ice machine.. However the ladies somehow still were able to provide us with 2 cups of ice. We definitely will come back to sonesta simply suites in the future.

Great stay! Very clean, courteous staff, very prompt and plenty of parking available. Shuttle to AT&T stadium available which helped tremendously. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Dallas. Thank you for your hospitality.

Got two new rooms that were better but the next day one of the room keys stopped working because no one updated the roster to show me in that room. We did not even stay or check in. We arrived well after check in and they did not have a room ready for us. They advised us it would be at least another 2 hours. We were there for a concert and needed to get ready and be headed to the concert before that time. The receptionist was not friendly but did advise us we would not be charged since we did not take the room

Carla was an excellent hostess from the time we checked in until we checked out. I had an issue with my room and it was handled promptly. I definitely will return and recommend.

I was greeted by friendly staff and given everything requested immediately. That being said, the doors to rooms need repair and cause a little paranoia about safety. Also, the bathroom was poorly cleaned. I had to buy cleaning products to enjoy my stay. The air filters were filthy. I started having breathing problems until we cleaned them. I would stay again, but, I would hope these problems would not be part of the next stay.

Room was very clean. Outlets are very loose and there are no hardwired USB plugs so I had to unplug the alarm clock in order to charge my phone. There was some hair on the bathroom floor which is a quick pick up but… Mold spots on bathroom ceiling. Some dishes and cooking pots and pans are in room with dishwasher but there was no dish soap. STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!!

Everyone on front desk staff was very nice and helpful. But the furniture in our room ( 317 ) was very dusty and somewhat antiquated. When we checked out I wanted to tell the front desk that the toilet needs a new ‘flapper’ to stop it from running periodically. I was also shocked with the condition of the ceramic floor in the bathroom.

The room wasn’t clean. Kitkat wrappers in the corner and the bathroom was filthy.

Property is old and needs updating. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Stayed 8 days only cleaned room once, day before we left. Too many government assisted people living there.

Safety is a priority when I travel, especially when my children are with me, the staff were kindly and understanding of my priority and made my daughter and I welcomed, safe and protected during our stay. Big thanks!

I’m a regular customer whenever I come to Texas this is my first stop for a nice clean and respectful staff room was nice and very clean and the smell of freshness hit your noise at the door I just love it here so if your looking for a nice suite this is definitely the one

The room was nice and had the essentials - mostly. There was no ice maker in our fridge (which is apparently supposed to be there) and no ice machine on-site. We notified staff but ended up buying ice from a gas station. Not a big deal but I have trouble believing no one has ever said anything about it before. The AC is supposed to be connected to a wall thermostat but it didn’t work so we had to adjust the temperature manually. Again no big deal. The mattresses (bedroom and foldout couch) were below standard but for one night were better than the floor. The hotel and surrounding areas are very nice and clean, and there was very little noise from either inside or outside. Overall we rated our stay a 6.5 out of 10 but without the above issues, probably an 8. But the staff was 10 out of 10!

Everything was perfect. Shower water was Hot! Kitchen setup great. Comfy bed. Even ice cubes!

Staff ran my card before going over hotel policies and confirming of all occupants with me. Staff then told me that they didn’t have any rooms available for people with a service animal. I was questioned and interrogated about my personal need for my service dog, which is against Federal Law. Worse thing of it all, I didn’t get to stay at the Sonesta. I was charged my last amount of money so I couldn’t get a hotel room anywhere else. It took days to get my money back , and the deposit even longer. I AM ALSO A MEMBER OF 3yrs. No accommodation’s were offered, so I left feeling ROBBED.

Clean and a walkable distance to the AT&T stadium. No issues and the staff was great.

Cold water was not cold

The room was clean, definitely wasnt 10/10 paint peeling in the bathroom the silver polishing was just some sort of covering, the backsides was unfinished and discolored, the room had a unpleasant smell even a bath and body works room spray could not help. You will need to bring your own fan the A/C only goes down to 71. You will be welcomed with a smiling face and check in was easy 😊 the trolly will come pick you up and take you to a couple spots around the area. When my family and i pulled in we got to witness a employee quit and peel out the drive but that was all the entertainment from the grounds we got, its in a decent area. No housekeeping on the weekends so be ready to do your own laundry and make your own beds just like you would at home....

This is place is very close to Six Flags, AT&T Stadium, & Globe Life Field. The only thing that would of been nice is if they had a pool & served breakfast.

2nd year ive stayed during baseball season and love it. Customer service is absolutely amazing and nice everytime!

Stayed at the hotel because it was pretty close to AT&T stadium and the airport. Location of hotel is great. Was greeted by friendly staff members. The overall hotel itself was very nice on the outside, however Inside was a little worn down and didn’t look like the pictures as advertised. The room didn’t smell fresh, the refrigerator had looked worn down on the outside and everything looked outdated. The bathroom also was also a little deceiving from the pics. There were some hairs on the soap bottles by the sink and in the shower.

Staff was excellent. Laundry and workout room good. Good value for the money. Floor ac unit a bit noisy between kicking on vs continuous fan mode. Room was a bit musty and they moved me to a new location which was an improvement.

The property isn’t what I expected as a sonesta property.

This property is outdated and the reviews in expedia do not match the reality of this place. We found hair in our new towels, mold in the AC ducts, broken hinges on cabinets, and the entire hotel smelled like a sauna.

Lori took care of us and did a great job of making us feel welcomed.

The smell was so nauseating. It was like a very strong smell of way to much air freshener to cover up a mildew smell. The smell was so intense that I was unable to sleep. There was hair in the bathtub. The Kleenex box had been just stuffed with a few sheets just at the top to make it look full one of the drawers would slide back open everytime you tried to close it. The floors were dirty.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very nice hotel forbthe price. The area is nice and there is alot of places to eat and do things

Easy to find. Staff was super nice and welcoming.

Terrible customer service. We had called a week prior to verify that we could check in early they told us yes just call at 12 the day of check in and let us know you will be there early and that there would be a $25 early check in fee. On the day of the guy that was up front answering the phone was very disrespectful yelling at my friend and I on the phone the we could not check in early and that they had no rooms available… how do you have NO ROOMS AVAILABLE if your check out time is 11 and check in isn’t until 4!? I already had a room reserved so why is there no room available for me to check in to? We ended up just getting another hotel that allowed us to check in early. I will NEVER waste my money here again.

AC was horrible......couldnt sleep and was too exhausted from.work to complain.

I stayed for two nights and to my surprise after night 1 I had some rashes around my hand and shoulders I thought it happened just to me but when I asked my friend she also had rashes which we suspected were bugs but we didn’t find anything on bed, even after night 2 we had more irritation around the affected areas. After returning the keys and going back the home we didn’t have any rashes or irritation.

Had slight issue at check in but lady resolved it. In room ice maker sucked and no breakfast options but stay was overall a great value and overall accommodating.

The shower was had a good output. The water got really hot.

The room we booked was given to someone else when we got there at 12:30 A.M we had to find somewhere else to stay. We didn’t even stay there

The room had plenty of space for 4 of us. The kitchen was perfect size and plenty of room for all of our stuff. Some of the areas were dusty and there were dead waterbugs and roaches in the bathroom. There was a live water bug in the closet that ran off somewhere. They didn’t service our room when we were gone and we were never told if we had to request service.

It was quiet and it felt like home away from home

The only thing I didn’t like was remote to room tv didn’t work.

The hotel and room were very worn and dated. My room smelled musty, there were broken tiles in the bathroom. The pictures online look like they were taken 30 years ago when the hotel was new.

Great stay would definitely come back

Was deceived by ratings. Was met by a roach in my room within 3 hours of checking in and duvet cover was dirty. Told front desk of both issues. Duvet was changed but replacement was stained. Told them I’d killed the roach and left it on the floor for evidence when they came in to change the bed cover. Now I have to fumigate my clothes when I get home to make sure no bugs are transported there. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is a bit rundown - older and in need of some updates. The shower head needs replacement in the room I was in. They didn't have any coffee or tea.

The service and cleanliness were top notch. The mattress was more like a feather bed and was very soft.

The bedroom was cozy, but the tub was dirty....soap scum was visible. The bed was labeled as a Queen, but that was questionable. We only spent a few hours asleep each night, so no big deal. The air conditioning and refrigerator was cold and the room was clean, despite of.

We were very please with our stay. We had a 5 night stay, upon arrival the guest services lady, Connie, was very pleasant. Our room was equipped with a refridgerator, freezer, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, an electric range stove top, microwave sink and dishwasher. There is also a very large desk/counter top with rolling chair, our bed and a comfy lounge chair. Lighting was great in the room. The ac was a little on the loud side and the room temp would go back and forth between cold and warm but overall it was decent. The only thing we wished we had was a pool. I did not realize when I booked the room, but that is on me. Plenty of access through multiple entry ways, elevators and stairs. We saved a lot of money by having the kitchen essentials, it allowed us to cook in our room rather than eat out every meal. The fitness eqipment was great too. Bed was comfortable and the surrounding area seemed safe and quiet. This location was centeral to a lot of things to do. We were in town for a convention and to visit Six Flags. It was a 4 minute drive to Six Flags and a 6 minute drive to the football and baseball stadium as well as the convention center, Texas Live, and a walmart superstore, pus lots of gas stations and restaurants. Highly recommend for a decent hotel stay without a pool

First room we got for the weekend smelled like smoke so bad and smelt like they tried to cover it up with a spray. Wife ended up seeing a cockroach in the room shortly after. We asked for another room and we got switched thankfully. Second room was a night and day difference. That room was comfortable and clean.

The only complaints I have were the bugs by the side/back door to leave the complex. And the shower itself was fine but there was nothing to block the water from moving out to the middle of the bathroom. Those were annoying but overall, it was a very good stay! Thank you!

Every thing was good but house keeping never came to my room to clean and stock up daily.

The room was pretty run down it was nowhere near what I expected. The staff was amazing and you couldn’t ask for more caring and kind people.

I came the day of and was turned away because of my dog Diamond. There was no option to mark a dog as my guest but the place marked dog friendly. I have to travel again in October and I will choose another hotel for my Six Flags visit with a kitchen, The only thing good was the friendly young lady at the front desk.

Hotel was good, staff friendly, room clean. However, a room down the hall from us had guests that were smoking marijuana and it made the whole hallway smell, even after housekeeping cleaned it. Also, they really push the trolley system, but it is very inconvenient using it to get back after a large event in the stadiums, uber is a better option and ends up being the same price for multiple people, as you pay for the trolley per person and the driver never even asked for our tickets.

Also, Carla is absolutely the best ever.

Decent room, nice & clean, but extremely humid with a musty odor. The A/C should be removing humidity since it's been on for my whole stay, but it remains humid. Towels dry slowly and everything just feels a bit damp. Still, the price was good, the staff are efficient and friendly, and the location was convenient for my purposes.
