Motel 6 Arlington, Tx – Entertainment District

I stayed here for a night for the World Cup game as it was the least expensive and walking distance from the stadium. The room I stayed in was room 113. There's no refrigerator, no coffee machine, all the lights were broken except one by bathroom side bed. They have very limited plugs so I had to use the one next to the sink. The closet had no hangers, and worst of it all, a cockroach was running around the desk. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE.

I never even stayed there. I pulled up to check in and there were a lot of people just hanging around with bags and clothes everywhere. Staff seemed rude so I just turned around and left. I would love a refund but it's whatever at this point. Everything above

Stayed there for an event at Globe Life Center. It was fine for what we needed – easy walk to the venue, they allow pets, the room was clean, they have vending machines for snacks and drinks, and there’s a Jack-in-the-Box next door. The elevator didn’t work half the time, but it didn’t hurt us to use the stairs. Nothing fancy, but nothing fancy needed -just a clean place to stay!

Shady is an understatement on how we feel about this particular manager. We will be contacting anyone who will listen to complain. Truthfully the room was not worth the money we ended up paying. My suggestion is to look for a better hotel And deciding stay here if there is an event close by.

The toliet rim was full of residue. No toliet when got there. No room room service, had to ask front desk for fresh towels or more toilet paper. Light to room and restroom didn't stay on with out the card in a slot on wall. No pool but had a sign that they did. No refrigerator. My card was charged for one night before i even checked in. When we got there, the person at the counter tried telling us we had to pay him $35 to park in his parking lot. Then we went to the room. Terrible. No plugs at bedside. If you have a cpap thing, don't stay here unless you bring your own ext cord. No hair dryer. The worse thing is that when we arrived, they charged us $35.00 to park in the Motel Six parking lot. They said they tried to tell us before we got there. I got three emails from them excited for us to be there--nothing about being charged to park there.

One room didn't have any light switches besides the bathroom. They didn't believe me, but it was true. It was freezing, so the AC definitely works! The next room I stayed in was better. But there was a dirty wash cloth from the person before me left on the shower curtain rod.

A $30 a night parking fee, the distance from my room to parking, felt unsafe, was supposed to be non smoking but the room and entire floor smells like smoke and/or weed, no microwave or refrigerator, the carpet felt damp, TV remote had trouble working. There were people loitering in the parking lot, some smoking weed others appeared to be living in their cars there. There were catcalls and they were approaching guests. As a woman alone I felt very unsafe. I will never stay there again and will not be recommending them to anyone else.

This property is old and not well maintained. While the room was clean(ish) the common areas like hallways, stairs, and elevator were dirty. Stains on carpeting, stains on bedding, stains on towels! Patchwork repairs such as mismatch pain etc everywhere. While the front desk staff was nice, there was zero hostility! I asked for extra pillows and a blanket which took 24 hrs to arrive. I stayed 4-nights and never had maid service once. And when I asked for maid service I was told no cuz they were understaffed. I’d reserved a king-bed room, which I got but right next to the elevator and was super small! I highly discouraged booking this hotel! I for sure will NEVER be back!!

Our stay was horrible, the first room we got smelled so bad of weed, it made me physically ill to my stomach. The rooms were dirty and in poor condition. The elevator was barely functioning. They charged me $90 for parking even though there was a broken down vehicle in the parking lot where the owners were living in. Never again, will I ever stay at any of the motel 6 establishments. We picked this motel because we’re going to be at a 3 day concert at the AT&T center and it was across the street.

Charged extra 90 bucks for parking. They claim to be a cheap stay but with all their random fees and deposits the total comes out to cost what an actual good hotel would. Horrible stay, disgusting rooms and beds. Bed covers were stained and ripped up. One of our beds didn’t even come with a comforter. Overall horrible experience, do not recommend the stay at all.

You will be charged for parking, do not believe it is free parking. Parking was nearly as much as the room, although the parking lot and the room are very similar as far as amenities. People were sleeping in there cars in the parking lot. Do not stay here unless it is a last resort, not worth the price.

In the past 4 years, I've stayed there multiple times for multiple days for work. If I'm working 3 or 4 days and Cowboys Stadium or Globe Life I always try and stay at the hotel at least two or three days. On the 22nd Wednesday, I had been asleep three and a half 4 hours when at midnight a jackhammer started going off outside my bedroom window. It was also no electricity. I packed and left to get back on my trip home. Is regular a customer as I am I expect some sort of remuneration for my bad experience. I don't expect they can refund the money but a free night or two next month when I'm working concerts or the rodeo at Cowboys Stadium would be greatly appreciatedq

The beds in our room had dirty sheets with some sort of green mucus seed dischargy looking something on them, when we went down to ask for someone to come change our sheets we were told we would have to change them ourselves because they didn't have any housekeepers

We really just needed a place to sleep, so it was sufficient. Overall the property is in various states of disrepair, there's no daily housekeeping (which is fine for a couple of days), the elevator door lights don't work so you don't know if you activated the buttons or if anyone's coming, the door to the outside closes all the way SOMETIMES but not always, the ice machine is broken, and the bathroom walls look dirty with yellow grime. I can handle it, but you should know that it looks NOTHING like the pictures and be prepared for what you're walking into.

The 3 extra rooms we had cancelled a few days earlier were already charged out to us and I had to fight for the refund. The 2 rooms that we were checking into were not available (it was 11 pm!). They asked us to wait until the cleaning people were able to come clean some rooms. They eventually let us have a suite that was available, so we took it. There were only 2 outlets (and no light switches) that worked in the room. There were multiple extension cords strung throughout the room to plug in a floor lamp as the bathroom light and a few bedside lamps. The room also smelled like rotten cottage cheese and looked NOTHING like the photos online. We also got 2 towels for 6 people sleeping in the suite. It was awful and now I still have to fight to get the correct refunds for the overcharging.

Pillows were flat! Advertised free breakfast and all they offered was coffee. Thats not breakfast ,thats just free coffee. Had to wait for clerk to get off phone with reservation almost 30 minutes not enought help on checkout.

You couldn’t turn off the lights , their was black mold all over the place , couldn’t take a shower with out getting water all over the floor , I wanted a queen size bed for me and my wife but we had to sleep on a full . Two people on one full bed was uncomfortable, I wanted a nice view of the Cowboys stadium since we where their for that but all I got was a fence to stare at . Will never go back to that motel ever again . I thought it would be a good one since it was 5 min walk to the Cowboys stadium but don’t be fooled

Unless you count the one by the ceiling. See picture 7. TV would work when it wanted. Turn it on wait about 10min then it would play. 26in. Small 8. The only other plug was 1 by the sink. 9. Smoke alarm no battery. Thank goodness no fire. 10. No breakfast, coffee maybe. If it’s there it’s there if not they will not make it. 11. Homeless people charging phones in stairs plugs 12. Anyone can walk in. Cameras everywhere you see the screen when you check in but who is monitoring them? Not check in the screen is at their back.

The room wasn’t OK condition. There was some wet spots on my floor that I think were from housekeeping. You can tell they just finished my room before I checked in which I did check in early. The sheets were not the cleanest (something had been on them, and it didn’t all wash out) The pillows were flat, we had to ask the front desk for a hair dryer, and there were only 2 towels (as well as 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel) There was only 1 ice machine that worked on floor 2. They offered hot water and coffee in the morning. There’s no place to sit outside if you want a smoke and it shares a parking lot with a strip mall. The tv only for over air channels (12-1, 29-whatever,etc )so there was no news or sports. I couldn’t find any local channels either. But there were somehow 15 music channels. Was literally across from the stadium tho and that made it easy.

An additional $100 for parking which is FAIR. Literally a walk across the ATT stadium. Beds were nice and firm but the sheets had random orange spots.

For all that price figured we would have a microwave in the room. Or at least free breakfast. But we did stay close to the game and was a good walking distance. Awesome location, but unfortunately service was bad. Hotel maids left bleach on counter my wife laid her paints and not knowing , bleach destroyed her pants, spoke with front desk and all they offered was 10% off next stay. Did not apologize and I asked just for reimbursement just to cover cost of pants and they refused.

We arrived before the Cowboys game to check-in and paid $100 just to park at the hotel that we had already paid to sleep at. The room was hot when we arrived because the air conditioner was off. There was no shampoo and a used roll of toilet paper. Overall, for the price we paid, we are disappointed in the stay. Next time I will stay at different hotel.

Not to mention the room was disgusting and far from clean! Nothing like the pictures!!! If you’re going to see the Cowboys spend the money on the better hotels!!! That’s what credit cards are for! Minimal barely describes the accommodations. The size of the “bath” towels were only “hand” towel size. Only 2 of the, one washcloth. No ‘bats’ of soap. Two slivers packages as soap. One plastic cup, no top to ice bucket. One electrical outlet on far side of room. Musty, dampness to carpet - couldn’t walk around in socks or bare feet. A/C works fabulously but that was the extent or comfort, amenities, style. Won’t be back.

Recommend a deep clean I understand this suggestions may not affect this location since it right across from the stadium which guarantees buisness. The building is dated but that wouldn’t be an issue if cleanliness was a priority. Non smoking room had a musky odor, ac unit definitely needs a deep clean. Front desk staff is nice but do recommend a better cleaning crew.

AC took a day to cool off the room. There's no ice machine or vending machines. Yet there are signs for them. Cleaning staff tried to get into our room while we were sleeping. The condition of the room was unacceptable. The bed sheets were visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about the overall hygiene of the establishment. To make matters worse, there were no towels in the bathroom, and the bathtub was covered in stains. This level of neglect is simply inexcusable and shows a clear disregard for basic guest comfort and cleanliness standards. Between the unexpected parking fee and the unsanitary state of the room, my stay was far from the simple, affordable experience I had anticipated. The lack of communication about the fees combined with the unhygienic conditions made for a deeply disappointing and frustrating visit. The elevator was creaking. We felt uncomfortable. The room had holes in the wall, chipped paint, debris falling out of the vent in the bathroom into the bathtub, no roller for the toilet paper, the carpet had some thick film, bathtub chipped, no tissues, and the tv screen was unclear. The room had a bad musky smell. We had to buy Lysol to spray the room down. To top it all off, there was cockroaches in the room, we had to get Raid. The room has no microwave or refrigeration, no coffee pot or coffee. You have to go to the front desk area to use a microwave, but they do not have napkins. To top it off we still had to pay $100 to keep our car parked in the parking lot on Sunday.

I reserved a room online for 4 nights. I specified that I had a pet. When I got checked in my room stunk so bad. It smelled like (excuse my French) but straight ass. So we bought some incense and air freshner because I had a friend use their id for me since I lost mine. Therefore I didn't want them to have any reason to put us out so I figured I could deal with the smell just use the incense n air freshner. The stay itself was ok until it was time to checkout. Our room was pretty much clean we took out our own trash wiped down tables and bathroom and even had the towels blanks and sheets ready for the cleaners. As we are putting out bags and stuff outside the door the office lady walked past and says "oh y'all have a lot of smoke in there.. you are not supposed to be smoking here." I told her it was not smoke it was an incent. And showed it to her.. a few minutes later she came in my room and seen my dog and say "óh you have a dog in here too .. no this is not a pet friendly room." And notes down some notes on her little paper. I was confused as to why she was saying anything about my dog. So I asked "is isn't allowed here or what because that was the specific reason I came to this location." Again she says "this is not a pet friendly room" I then state " look lady this the room they put me in. I been here 4 days in n out of this room and ain't no one said anything the whole time. Why would they put me here if I specified I had a pet and all the staff seen me coming in n out

Only hot water comes out. They have old torn towels and mattresses aren't very comfy. We paid for our stay for the night and still had to pay extra for parking there eventho we were already paying for our overnight stay.

Stay was typical, however the 70 dollars for parking that seemed to catch every guest checking in off guard was the worst. Needs to be clearer there will be a charge for that.

When we arrived is when we were notified of the $70 parking due to the Cowboys game. We tried to shower and even on the lowest setting the water was too hot. The floors were extremely dirty there was something caked into our carpet. We went downstairs to ask where the ice machine was and was told it was on the 2nd floor. Another customer said “don’t lie to them” and he said oh yeah it’s out of service. The elevator was acting weird the first time we were on it then stopped working completely when we left. When we were leaving there were 3 other people who also decided they couldn’t stay there.

If going to a game, it’s supper convenient. However, be aware that room AND parking prices will be nearly triple non game night prices no matter when you reserve the room or whether you’re gong to a game or not. The fees were $70 PER CAR while people selling parking spots on property were charging $50. Room was clean, but the workers were all very nice. They gave us extra towels even when they said they weren’t doing daily service so that was very nice. Bring a pillow if you like yours fluffy - these pillows are small and lackluster. Would we book jete again? Honestly, yes. It’s super convenient and let’s face it the people were so nice and accommodating.

The hotel is in poor condition, and a fresh coat of paint won’t fix it. Many guests complained about issues like scalding hot water with no cold water, a non-working elevator, and a hefty $70 parking fee for guests. Despite being across from the Cowboys' stadium, the area felt unsafe. My son and I chose not to stay, and we saw other guests leaving too. I recommend staying near the Rangers stadium instead; it’s a better choice!

they were not able to provide a room key and chose to run up and down to unlock your room when needed. Even giving guests a master key to go and come with from the desk to their rooms. had potential but was definitely neglected and the staff didn't have solutions to the issues.

The bed was clean and I did stay for the convenience, of globe life being next door I had no issues with my stay but I do feel like I overpaid for the night. Do not stay here if you are looking for amenities and luxury.

My stay here at this motel was ok however, they had elevator issues which is a problem when they got 4 floors, of course the bedsheets and room were not properly cleaned, and some of the ice machines were broken which was frustrating because they didn’t have refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Carpets in the hallway needs deep cleaning other than that the motel was convenient and close to six flags.

This hotel sucked. We found roaches, the parking area seemed like we might have our cars broken into, the rooms look like they haven't' had repairs or inspections done in years. I would not recommend unless you're on an absolute budget or need to be near the cowboys stadium. the cowboys stadium is across the street, but still a bit of a walk under this Texas heat.

our room smelled like laundry that was left in the washer after a week, MILDEW! the room was fine otherwise. we also were told upon check in that we would not have housekeeping during our stay, which was fine, but then a housekeeper just walked into our room during one of the days of our stay unannounced.

The one nice thing I can say about it was that the view of AT&T Stadium from the room was amazing. That's where it stops though. There was a real bad smell in the room. We had a very tiring day. We got rained on on our walk back and there was no hair dryer to attempt to dry our clothes and shoes. So with that combination we decided to leave for another hotel where we had a much more comfortable stay.

Unfortunately the only thing going for this hotel is that it’s located across the street from AT&T Stadium. The smell was horrendous but the condition of the bathroom was even worse. Tub tiles coming up, mold everywhere in there, door has signs of water damage 10” up, missing corner of the door, tub damaged and wouldn’t drain good, and baby roaches on the shower wall. Only one light in bedroom worked, so was very dark as we came in at night. No power outlets near bed to charge phones, etc during the night. Power on dresser would go out if bumped. And the floors are softer than the beds. We were told no room service but someone had obviously entered our room.

Staff was welcoming. The room was well kept. The property was not the greatest. They have long term residents that are loud outside and down the hallways. We stayed in a non-smoking room/floor, yet the entire floor smelled like smoke.

Quick night in town for a Rangers game. Great location in proximity to Arlington sports complex (walkable if able). Area is a bit sketchy but only interacted with friendly folks. Stinky in the heat of the summer. Literally nothing fancy you get what you pay for.

I really liked that it was walking distance to both stadiums so i didnt have to worry about parking or traffic. The place is definitely run down and in need of repairs and improvements. The room was okay, not too terrible but not a place i would want to stay at for too long. Check in was fine but stick to 3pm otherwise theyll want to charge you. But for one night its an okay place stay.

The check in clerk was friendly. He was able to get a room prepared earlier than check in time. The room was definitely cold. The cleanliness wasn't the greatest but it was ok

Also was charge an additional $30 for parking. We booked here for how close it was to the stadium That was the only upside to staying there.

It’s a very dated and low budget hotel that benefits from being close to the Arlington entertainment district. They can charge a lot more than it’s worth because of this. We only stayed one night and didn’t use the shower because it was not in great shape. The carpet was sticky and very dirty. The furniture was also damaged. If they put a little effort into caring for it, the guests might not complain about the exorbitant prices they charge.

The room smelt like weed. You had to pay to park in there parking lot even though you have a reservation there. The parking lot smelt like weed and had all types of questionable patrons roaming around in it. This was so bad that we put our stuff in the room, went to the PBR performance and at the end of the night when it was over we got in our car and drove 3 1/2 hrs home instead of staying.

We had to get two new rooms due to security and things not working properly. The property itself was worn down. Lobby smells like smoke. Were charged for parking because there was an event nearby. Hallway carpets were stained. The rooms were clean so housekeeping was fine. Would likely not stay again for the price.

This place is literally across the street from the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Center, which makes it REALLY convenient. The area around the property is a bit run down, but didn't feel threatening. The front desk staff are pleasant and oriented to serving their customers. The room we stayed in was a double, and was right for the price. Unfortunately, the elevator is iffy at best. We were able to go up to the 4th floor, but couldn't summon the elevator up to get back down....so we took the stairs. If I were attending another event back at AT&T, I'd stay here again. I just hope they do some update/renovation before then.

Some tv dont work , only issue

The property is located across from AT&T stadium which makes it easy to get to and from events/games. The rooms are standard and the staff was nice. The area outside did have a few homeless people but it is well lit and I didn’t feel in danger. Great affordable value for an overnight stay for an event. The only issue we encountered was the elevator didn’t seem to work on the 4th floor going down but did seem to work going up. Other than than no issues

Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked great! Only complaint was someone smoking weed somewhere. Could smell it all in the hall.

Broken elevator. Had to walk down from the 4th floor a few times. Not enough towels in the room and when i went to the desk to ask for more, no one was at the front desk. Few broken tiles in the shower. No outlets near the bed

This property is badly broken down. I had to buy Lysol and air fresheners to make it through a second night. Absolutely no amenities. Parking was 40 dollars extra. No maintenance. Broken and dismantled ice machine. Shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because the rod was broken. Towel rack missing. Towel peg falling out of wall. No outlets within 5 feet of the bed. Had to ask for shampoo. No refrigerator. Chair so nasty I wouldn't sit in it. Bed was clean and no active bed bugs however there was a bloody lamp shade that is consistent with past infestation. The smell was horrible. This review is for Expedia's benefit and not for posting please. Thank you. I made a bad choice with this one because of location to stadium which is across the street.

Old picture on your site. Old, rundown, in need of TLC. Elevator scary, saw no inspection sticker. Price gouged for convient location.
