Another aspect that wasn't too great. The hotel wasn't clean. I got in there and they had previous repairs. There was calking on the bathroom counter, the shower and tub were dirty. There was saw dust and dry wall in the tub and the clog was unscrewed from the drain. I had to clean it out before bathing my kids and screw in the clog. The shower also didn't drain. The sheets were also still dirty. Their were red stains that looked like blood dots. The room also had a a strong odor like maybe mold. I tried to talk to multiple staff and they acted like I was being a bother and they were not helpful at all.

I reserved a non-smoking room, they put me in a room that had been used as a smoking room prior, it reeked. There were cigarette burns all over the furniture and cigarette burn holes in the bedding. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, especially on check-in. They refused to let me store my luggage there prior to check in. When I tried to explain to the woman that I was told I could store luggage prior to check-in. She simply walked away from me. Horrible people.

The lady went into our room and saw our dog and left our door open while we was at six flags. We returned with our room open while our dog was in there. We paid a pet fee so they know we had a pet. The next morning we stepped out while our kids was asleep to let the dog our they saw me and my ol man and the dog and they deactivated our key so we couldn't get back in our room. We had to go back to the office to try to get in our room while our kids was locked in and we was locked out.! THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!!

It’s very outdated, walls dirty, shower pressure was low and I was given a dirty towel what looked like was stepped on or dropped outside my mistake and was still put in the room for the guest to use. Sketchy people are staying there too so I wasn’t comfortable at all but you get what you pay for. This was a last minute booking but I would definitely not come back here. As for staff they’re just there for a check not rude but not welcoming either.

I was tricked in had a fast one pulled on me by the front desk I was wanting to check in but since I did not have the deposit that was unheard of of $50 they were not going to check in but when they found out that someone I was with at $50 they let that person check in on my account behind my back.

Killed multiple roaches, Tub flooded to my ankles, spots on towels, hand prints on bed board, sockets didn’t work, desk in shambles. Was switched out of room the day before only to be rebooked back into by the same person who removed me the first time smh

I have photos to prove how many roaches I killed excluding two other adults and a few babies in the tub; I even had to get on my hands and knees to clean the tub.I also have a photo to show how I had to soak my feet up to my ankles in dirty bath water because the tub was clogged. The towels had spots. There were sticky hand prints on the base board of the bed, and all but two sockets didn’t work. The desk was in shambles and no iron was available. The sad part is I’ve stayed here before and had a very pleasant experience.. so pleasant that I returned just to come to this. Furthermore, the day before I was switched out of the room which involved the aforementioned to a better one. I then booked another room to only get put BACK in the room I got switched out of by the same person who removed me. Someone make it make sense. All the while I noticed multiple other rooms that were vacant. I hope someone of importance sees this . In all honesty, a full refund would suffice.

Nothing The fact they told me one price but they over charged me by $120. Their was a dirty syringe on the bathroom floor and a bunch of nasty stuff on the ceiling. Like wet tissue or something.

The location it was good it was close to restaurants and entertainment for the kids. It was musty and smell funny and they literally had roaches in the room one on the mini refrigerator and a died one one the bathroom floor

It was close to the mall that’s it The first room we got had smoke holes all in the bedspreads and on the bed, the shower was dirty. Had black marks all on it. The second room we got was a little bit more cleaner, but we had no hot water and there was no hot air in the room and it’s winter time. I asked him about the hot water. He said that they didn’t have any. They shouldn’t have a hotel if they don’t have hot water. my mother and I left to go to get some groceries and when we came back, our key card did not work. Had to go back to the front so they could reactivate it.

The room I reserved was supposed to be a king bed non smoking they gave us a smoking room that smelled horrible the comforter was burned with cigarette holes I complained they switched me rooms to a queen bed non smoking but it still smelled like smoke. I asked for extra towels bc I kept trying to clean the water and they refused to give me some bc they said they saw towels in the room when they took out the trash. I went to get ice from the machine and the ice came out with black gooey mold on it. Also very hard to communicate with staff that worked there bc they didn’t speak English. Only the guy at the front desk spoke broken English. NEVER AGAIN!!!.

I had to changed room twice, due to bathroom tub look like a they used it put out cigarettes outlet plugs didn’t work, front door had a paper click holding the doorknob. You most definitely get what pay for. I understand that we chose a smoking room but at the very least it could have had fresh clean linens. Yes my husband smokes but that doesn’t mean we are unclean people.

Room was clean for the price, much nicer than hotels in that price range. Recieved my deposit back on card within a few minutes. Pool was actually open, bathroom was clean. Ice machine was close. Was able to park in front of my door about 6 feet away.

I stayed here on a work trip. My room was clean. It is quiet here and I had no issues. Always room for parking. The staff is very nice. It is an older hotel but it is kept up. I never felt unsafe here. It is walking distance from dining, shopping, etc. Great rates too.

They told me that maybe it was an allergic reaction, but I’ve never had anything happened like this in my life. I asked for a reimbursement only to get denied and I had to go through Hotels.com to get my reimbursement. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this location unless you want to get eaten alive by bed bugs.

Had a loud neighbour who was screaming an playing the tv super loud and we could hear it through the thin walls easily but they stopped about midnight. Overall hotel was fine and cleanliness was there. Price was decently affordable for what you get and had local places to eat and a gas station nearby. First stay earlier in the week was better minus the rickety toilet. No loud neighbours, room needed more toilet paper and they provided extra pillows and towels as needed when requested. There was always issues with the key cards too! So be prepared to see the staff a couple times during the stay. Staff also were dull eyed and not warm and welcoming.

We saw bugs crawling in the room, and there were dog poop and many long nails scattered around the parking lot, which was not well-lit at night. It felt so dirty and unsafe we decided to check-out soon after check-in and find another place to stay the night.

NASTY and DISGUSTING!!!! There was drug activity being conducted in the parking lot. The sheets and bedsheets were nasty and stained. We had to rent a room at another nearby hotel. DO NOT STAY! Website is MISLEADING! Property needs to be brought up to code!!!!!

I am so glad I found this place. I was looking for a cheap hotel in the Arlington area and was disappointed to find that most of the choices at that price were abysmal. The reviews for most of them stated that they were dirty and poorly maintained. I ended up staying in a motel that contrary to the reviews had many disappointing issues. Dirty floors, rude and inexperienced employees, sheets with stains and holes, and towels with blood stains and lipstick stains. My work situation required that I stay one more night in the area. Rather than stay in the dump that I had just spent three very uncomfortable nights in, I opted to move to the Highland Inn Arlington instead. Oh, how I wish I had stumbled into this little gem of a bargain the first three nights. It was clean, the employees were very friendly, and my stay was very enjoyable. It's not a fancy place. The rooms are very plain, but clean and well maintained. The pool was also well kept up. The parking lot was well lit up and seemed very safe. The outdoor lighting around the rooms was all blue LED lights which, while it illuminated the area very effectively, did not bleed into the motel rooms at night as is usually the case in many motels. Not only that, but it was in a great location. It sits directly across from a very nice bowling alley and Putt Putt Golf center. It was within easy walking distance of many stores and restaurants, including a Portillos Restaurant which really pleased me. A delightful stay.

Worst stay

Our room didn’t have a remote to the tv, didn’t know if the tv was working or not but all in all it was a great stay!!

Very rude and room was very hot. Asked for refund and they pulled bet out and told us we could not leave nor get a refund

They are racist and kicked myself and disabled husband out with a service animal!

Many transients staying

I would NEVER recommend this place. Upon checking in I went to the room I was provided. I opened the door and all you could smell was dog. I went back and talked to the clerk about changing rooms, he instead provided me a broom with a towel wrapped around it so I could sweep. My check in and out process happened in an hour. It was so horrible we never even got our things out the car. Wished I had the ability to rae this place a -10.

Sheets had cigarette holes. Strong smell of urine more so old urine. Sheets and towls seemed dirty so i went and bought cleaning products toclean restroom and tables. Lysol yhe furniture and bout clean sheets to sleep on because bed had many stains and cigarette holes.

For the most part, I'd give this location a 4-star rating. I'm under the impression that the staff has dealt with rude individuals that are either Black or just rude in general. I'd ask that you please not transfer your previous experiences with person of the same ethnic origin as myself. It's called transferred aggression; judge me as an individual. I treat people with the same respect that I'm given. Never judge a book by its cover, you'd be surprised at how kindness can dissolve hard feelings. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Most of the staff is friendly and accomodating but their are a few that need some work on customer service but overall a good experience. The pool is closed although the website doesnt mention that so its been a downfall for the kids.

Nice area close to shopping

There were 2 great men on staff and i appreciste their friendliness and willing to accomodate. Some of the guests dont clesn up the area around them so it is a little messy. We have been here almost 2 weeks and so far have no msjor issues just some staff need to work on bring friendly.

This room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed at, even the sheets smelt good. The room was decorated very nicely for the price. It had a hair dryer, iron with board, hangers with closet area, the water pressure in the shower was great, it even had a microwave and mini fridge I feel bad for this review since the owners obviously have put a lot of work to the inside of the property (not the outside) and I would stay here again if they would better screen the residents or hire security. All in all I was too scared to stay but more scared to leave since the domestic dispute was inside and outside. I didnt want my babies getting caught in the middle of it. That with all the other residents being loud and letting their dogs bark at people. It said it was a no pet property but again, they dont screen, and obviously dont walk the property to see all these things. Im sure they could hear it as everyone could! I absolutely LOVE animals but either it is or isnt a pet friendly place.

I said fine give me til end of my stay and I’ll find some where else. All the dressers had broken drawers the floors had sticky stuff in corners behind headboard and door. No coffee pot no complimentary coffee in lobby cause it was closed 24/7. Come to find out there was another person who had 3 dogs in their room. And what grass is around is full of dog poop so bad my dogs wouldn’t even go in the grass. And one of the employee/ family members everyday puts spoiled meat out by the dumpster for a cat and a dog that lives out there all I seen was a cat once. I was there for 6 nights.

For a budget hotel it was a good stay. Room was very big, clean, bedding comfortable, shower had a good water pressure, clean towels. Fridge and microwave were convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would never stay here again, the hotel is in a good area but the property and staff left a lot to be desired. The thing that stands out the most is the number of warnings about pets. Yet, the room on our right and the one in our left were clearly long term renters. They both had dogs, one a small dog and one an out. They bbq’d and cooked outside with loud music. They didn’t clean up after their pets fro what we witnessed. I didn’t feel safe as they watched us come and go.

The chair was bad. I sat there and i dont know what it had but gave me a itch and rash on my back. Room looked ugly like not a decent room.

Rooms were very nice, especially for the price. Staff was friendly and welcoming, very easy to work with.

Very unpredictable unprofessional staff also management isn't good

Since I got such a good price for this place, my expectations were low. However, the room was clean, which is most important to me. There was no loud noise or shady characters lurking around (at least none that i saw). The only real compliment I had was that there were no chairs in the room, so i couldn't sit at the desk and do anything.

The rooms were very clean the rooms were big and spacious the amenities were as they said online all in all very pleased

Very well priced. It was quiet and clean. The best part about it was no carpeting. I'm from WA and most accommodations around here have carpet.
