    we got three rooms for the weekend with eight kids and 3 adults. First we got there and the pool had to get inspected so it was not open. That was a big thing and why we got a hotel with a pool. 2nd got to rooms and one door had key problems all weekend and they would not fix. 3rd two refrigerators did not work " told lady at front desk and she said they would get two more and never did. 4th NO soap or shampoo in the rooms. 5th Ac's in two rooms worked about half the power so we sweat most of the nights. 6th had to get towels from front desk. The staff did not care what shape the hotel was in or how the guest were at all. It was close to six flags but should have been condemned............

    Nothing We are requesting a refund due to multiple issues with the accommodation. The first room provided had a non‑functional AC. We were then moved to another room, but that room was also extremely warm because the AC had been turned off. We had to switch it on ourselves and wait nearly an hour for the room to cool down. Additionally, the bathtub drainage was clogged. We reported this issue, but it was never repaired during our stay. Given these conditions, the room was not usable as advertised, and we believe a refund is warranted.

    This was the worst hotel I have stayed in. First, it was incredibly hot when I checked in and the next morning the windows in the halls were open because of the heat. Then, the breakfast choices were 1 piece of bread for toast, cereal with no milk and waffles. At one point I was approached in the hall by another guest and felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place and will not be back

    bed was comfortable. 1st room was not clean, had a weird storage closet that was not locked with a Xmas tree in it, the refrig was not plugged in was dirthy and smelled like something died in it. The second room was a little better, wifi was VERY slow, with a concert down the road the price was 3X normal, I don't think Whydham wants their name on a facility like this.

    The room was not clean. We found a used washcloth left over the shower rod. The air conditioning did not work. We were leaving for an event and we're told it would kick in by the time we got back later that evening. It did not and when we requested another room, the clerk tried to give us the smoke-filled room next door. The new room was better but still not very clean.

    The photos on this hotel are far from accurate. Our room was very uninviting, no chair or side table. The shower was COVERED in long hair as well as the corners of the bathroom. There was no body wash in the dispenser. The continental breakfast was not cooked, raw eggs and waffle batter sat on the counter at room temperature. The lobby and elevator floors were filthy, not just unmopped but unswept as well. There were scuff/dirt marks on the walls in the lobby, elevator, hallway, and rooms. The positive was there weren’t any bugs, at least not that we saw. This hotel definitely needs a good scrub down and a fresh coat of paint from ceiling to floor and quite possibly a new cleaning crew or retraining.

    We asked to move from our first room bc it hadn't been cleaned. Hallways and entry smelled like weed. Rooms were dirty, toilet seats were falling off, bed linens had stains, there was dried snot on the walls, stains on the roof. There was drug addicts walking around asking to bum a smoke off us. Awful experience.

    Had to move rooms 3 times once I finally got into 3rd room the lights that went around ceiling were hanging about to fall but after 3 moves I just delt with it. Once I left and checked out I received a call telling me I was being charged 100$ for lights damaged. This is not fair but can't do much about it but let y'all know that are crooked

    This hotel was absolutely gross. Nothing like the photos at all. The entire place smelled of weed and mildew. I had 6 rooms and changed them all about 15 times. The ac wouldn’t work, they all had pubic hairs in the sheets/pillows, there was mold on the sheets and all over the room. The people staying there were extremely sketchy to say the least. I would not have stayed if it was free. I finally got my group to gather their things and we left and found a new hotel. After getting to the new hotel right around the block, I was informed by them that the Baymont had been closed for nearly two years and wasn’t even suppose to be open. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Why would a hotel post breakfast included but dont serve any.Well maybe at 6.00 but we got there at 8.00am and there was no juice, out of order. Coffee was done and there was no food left. All they had was cereal and muffins. We ask and they just said they were out. No remorse what so ever. It shows a Gym too and it was a blank space, no machines at all. its like if they were just opening the hotel. But then in our hall there were rooms with leaky faucets. I felt bad for one family who had their door open with Water all over the floor and i mean all over. They called maintenance about an hour before and nothing. That sucks in the morning especially if your trying to get dress. The sites pictures are mislead and should be a violation. The only reason why i booked it was becuase of the pictures and description. This place needs to be updated with Friendly staff and better customer service. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Everything clean and the breakfast bar was open (waffles, bread and boiled eggs). The hotel is open btw, I saw many reviews saying it wasn't but it is now. I think pool was closed when I went. Would stay again thank you 👍

    My reservation got canceled the nite before my trip.. they left me a voicemail stated the Hotel was goin to close due to repairs they would refund my $$$.. they were Not Closed i feel Cheated & played a Fool.. I did not like the un professionalism I spent extra $$ on a new hotel was a Major inconvenience I had a future hotel i went for my 1st game with my wife to see the Dallas Cowboys.. I stayed further away spent alot more on ubers& food.. I feel Cheated& Ripped Off.. I will Never Recommend this Hotel.. it ruined my Vacation... I spend over $150 xtra on Lift because the hotel canceled my reservation my new hotel was in Ft worth. Terribly inconvenient for us at our cost.. Terrible Customer service

    so I booked our room in May and had got emails confirming our reservations and the day comes for vacation and we pull up to the hotel and there was one car in parking lot and a man inside so the kids and I walk in the door and there place was hollow and I look at the man and say we had rooms booked here he said he was sorry but the building was under construction and here are my children and I stuck 4 1/2 hours away with no place to stay no emails letting us know what was going on or anything!! I hate to put a bad review in but this is truly necessary for people to know!!!!!

    I cancelled the return flight with Spirit Airlines because they cancelled our original direct flight from DFW to MSY and did not offer another direct flight. The rental car pickup was at DAL instead of DFW and they did not offer shuttle service. I’m requesting refund on hotel and return flight via Spirit Airlines.

    The location was ideal It was under construction. Very outdated. We were not informed prior to our stay that it was under construction. We were going to a concert, so too late to change hotels. The breakfast was also not as advertised. The website said hot breakfast, it was a take and go due to the construction.

    I had paid the hotel room about a year ago for a concert that was rescheduled for the date of my actual stay. I never received word that the hotel was undergoing renovation. I was given a first floor room that had a dirty floor, the sheets looked clean but smelled weird and had a window leading to the parking lot, that seemed to have been vandalized. By the time we arrived, we had no other option. Front desk did not let us know about the condition of the room. He only said they were undergoing renovation and that we couldn't ask for a refund once we signed in. I thought this comment was a bit strange but thought nothing of it at the moment. When we saw the room, I understood why he said that.

    Paid about $85 total for a one night stay. Wasn’t rated high, or low so thought it was a fair price. Wasn’t expecting much, but the hotel was in extreme decline. I would say this is a $50 a night hotel. When we arrived, the front desk personal tried telling me they required a cash only deposit of $60. I told him I was blindsided by that as almost all places only take card for accidentals. After a few minutes he went ahead and checked me in without the deposit. They were in the process of renovating sections of the hotel so their “free breakfast” was boiled eggs, muffins, coffee, and juice. Also do to the renovations, there was dust and dirt everywhere. There was a strange smell of what I think was mold and cigarettes throughout the hotel. Our room looked to be “renovated” with new flooring however the cabinets were falling apart, the walls were scratched and damaged all over, the sink was disgusting, the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, the shower was falling apart and stained all over. Definitely nowhere near $85 especially when there are so many other hotel close by. I would recommend staying far away from this establishment.

    When we walked in, they were doung construction. Gave us our room, walked in there was plastic on the floor, holes in the ceiling, no covers on bed smelled. I wouldn't sit any of my belongings on anything. Went to another hotel

    Worse experience in my top 5, my room was gross with stains, the cable barely worked, you can hear everything outside, the curtain was ripped, my door wouldn’t close with out the lock. Just horrible, but the front guy was nice.

    Upon entering the hotel that the whole place is under renovation there's loud noise, and to top it off once we get to the register even though it wasn't listed under the listing on the website immediately we were told we couldn't check in unless there was $60 deposit paid in cash before we can check in. The rooms their self were good even though somebody has stolen the microwave they the bathroom was not clean so there is that. After about 30 minutes there as we are getting ready falling asleep taking a nap but the loudest noise in the world starts going off and every alarm in every room starts going off and continue to go off at even after we got hung up on reporting it at the front counter over the phone trying to inform them that the alarm for going off they stayed on for the next 30 minutes giving us such migraine the rest of just stay was unenjoyable. We didn't have clean towels after taking a shower for only about 30 seconds to complete cold water no hot. And to top it off as we were trying to get our very hard-earned $60 deposit back in the morning they made my husband go inside and so his ID like we were some kind of common criminal search the room top to bottom make sure we had this place to towel or anything and had such an attitude that we told them that we were going to talk to the parent company window about this believe me when I say sometimes too good to be true on price really is too good to be true

    The outside appearance was below any standard Baymont I have ever been to. The inside is under renovation but the part that is still accessible is not well kept. The wardrobe in my room was old and falling apart, the refrigerator did not get cold and was very noisy the entire time, the shower water did not get warm at all and the hallway did smell a bit off. I paid for 2 guest and the manager was very rude to my husband after I left. When my husband was getting breakfast the manager asked if he was staying there (the manager saw and assisted my husband the night prior). My husband told him yes, our room number and that we would be checking out this day, the manger proceeded to tell him after he finished his breakfast he had to leave (which was WELL before check out time). Ultimately it was an unpleasant experience.

    The rooms were dirty, in poor condition, black tarp was hanging halfway down the hallways and around the elevator area. Breakfast was included but only consisted of a waffle and juice. I just wish it would have listed the work being done and the photos are much nicer than the actual rooms.

    This hotel was under repairs. So the breakfast bar was not as expected and the rate for the room was a bit high for the condition of the room. No microwave and the fridge made lots of noise when running. Water wasn't very hot for showers but manageable. Plus this won't let me add pictures

There are stains on walls of halls and rooms along with ceiling. Got a king room for 2. We had to ask for extra pillows because the ones in the room were flat. They gave us 1 more so sleeping was terrible. The dresser was broken. OH, and it says including breakfast, well that consisted of waffles, coffee, juice, and bagged muffins. No fruit, yogurt, other options other than carbs. Suck for anyone with restrictions. We will not be using them again when we return in a month. This is a Motel on the inside. Was not worth it.

The small refrigerator in our room made so much noise that I had to unplug it. The heater was just as bad but it was cold so I left it on. The bathtub needs repair. My daughters room was worse. The bedroom window with the entire steel frame collapsed into their room. Luckily no one was inside the room at the time or someone could have gotten hurt. Fortunately they were moved to another room. A continental breakfast is offered but it consisted of boiled eggs, white bread, and you could make your own waffles. That's it! Nothing else! Unbelievable. No more Baymonts for us.

    Don't expect an updated super fancy hotel /room. The room has the bare necessities and is fairly clean. Breakfast was satisfying . Most importantly I felt safe having my family and car stay there overnight. Plus it's a 15 minute walk from the park and 5 mins from a couple restaurants. Good deal for a great price.

    Don't expect an updated super fancy hotel /room. The room has the bare necessities and is fairly clean. Breakfast was satisfying . Most importantly I felt safe having my family and car stay there overnight. Plus it's a 15 minute walk from the park and 5 mins from a couple restaurants. Good deal for a great price.

    The first red flag was when they told us that they didn't have the exact room that was shown online, but they gave us connecting rooms to makeup for it. We walked in both rooms and it was 90 degrees in both rooms, they had turned the air conditioning off, we had older family members that this was too much for them. We went to go use the elevator which we rode up on, and 30 minutes later when we went to get something to eat and give the room time to cool off it was broken. This made it where we could not go get something to eat because we had 5 disabled people with us and they could not climb up or down the stairs without a lot of pain or risk. Well, they didn't have a choice because 10 minutes after that, the fire alarm started going off and they were forced to go down 3 flights of stairs. My husband is a veteran, who served this country and because of that he is disabled, it took great effort to get everybody down the stairs. We had to wait outside in the heat for the fire truck to come clear the building. We could not afford to go to another hotel because we paid for this one, the elevator was broken for the whole entirety of our stay there basically making my family confined to the hotel. We had to pick and choose which family events that we could go to because it was so hard on them to go up and down the stairs. Holes in the walls, terrible smelling, roaches in the bathrooms, it was probably the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel. No refund was offered.

    Overall our stay was pleasant. Easy access to Six Flags and interstate. Room was clean and a/c kept the room ice cold. It is an older establishmemt that could definitely used some much needed upgrades. For the amount of time we stayed, it was enjoyable.

    Do not stay at this place. The cleaning services do not clean the rooms at all. Our floor was black and dirty, the sheets were stained with ink and what looked like feces. Immediately requested a new room and that claimed the cleaning employees said it was cleaned. Brought down the dirty sheets and demanded cleaning as soon as they arrived the next morning. There was dust all over the ceiling and spider webs in the corner of the room. Our room wasn’t cleaned until 10am the next day. Breakfast was hot boiled eggs and a dirty waffle machine. Pool was closed. The only two good things about this place was the mini fridge and a/c unit worked.

    We checked out prior to our check out date. The curtain was closed with a lock that had holes in the curtain. The shower head was hanging off the wall but connected by the plumbing and paint in the restroom was bubbled and peeling off the walls

    Not good. Room ac was not good.. the kids freaked out because there was a wasp in the room I had to catch n throw out the window.. then we all got ready to hit the pool and walked all the way to the door to read a sign saying the pool was closed for the season. Needless to say we all got our things together got my money refunded and booked another hotel elsewhere waaay better excpirience for the kids.

    We went up to get ready to ready and the halls and room smelled like an old hotel and smelled dirty. Later came back the room was hot and my husband moved the ottoman to find a used q-tip. I went to take a bath and there was hair in the tub, no face towels, and the toilet seat kept shifting. My husband was leary about sleeping in the bed. I called to front desk 3 times with no response. At about 12 to 1am we decided to just go home. We live an hour and 15 minutes away and were in town for a baseball game. My husband lost all desire to go to the next game since we had to leave.

    This was one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever been in. The room was dirty and one of our beds had blood stains on the sheets. I called Expedia and all they did was have them switch our rooms. The second room was just as disgusting, even after the employee went to double check and stated it was better. We only stayed one night and checked out and booked a different hotel the next night. Of the two rooms and 1 night we had 5 sets of sheets, 3 of which had blood stains. We wouldn’t have even stayed the one night but it was 2 am by the time all of this was done and we left by 7:30. The staff was kind but the facility was horrible. Do not stay here!

The biggest factor was how filthy the room was: blood on the sheet, food left in front of the microwave, dirt on the floor, hair in the shower. The staff was very apologetic and kind though.

    Upon check in they told me i was a no show from day prior tried to tell me that I had called abd changed my dates. I work on Saturdays why would l i call and change it? The pool was shut down looked like a swamp. Main reason we went was for 6 flags and swimming pool. VERY disappointing breakfast what a joke. Boiled eggs toast or a waffle.     Stayed here cause we were going to six flags and it was close by. Literally only good thing about the hotel was the free trolley but for condition of hotel i would of rather stayed farther and paid for uber. So old and dirty you can tell they do not care about rooms at all. Light fixtures were falling off, elevator broke while i was there and "breakfast" that they promote is just waffles. No cereal, toast, eggs or anything just one waffle machine and orange juice. Would not recommend a stay here no matter how cheap.

    Room and facility was dirty, they had construction going on the pool looked like green water, there was a puddle of water on first floor in the hall and no caution sign, when in the room you could hear banging noise as if there were a herd of elephants up there, hallway smelled like marijuana, there were bugs in the room especially in the bathroom coming out of the drain (cockroaches) horrible experience and I will never stay there again, and wouldn’t refer this place to my friends and family. One of the desk clerks looked rude when someone asked for more syrup for the waffles, oh and breakfast was boiled eggs, juice machine not working, and there was bread for toast little muffins, and waffles, coffee that’s it horrible…

    The first room we were in smelled really bad, like dead fish. We figured out the smell was coming from the refrigerator. I cleaned it to take the smell out. Then the AC was not working so our room was very hot. They did move us rooms, but in that room we had no hot water for showers. There was a lot of little things broken as well.
