Ashley welcomed us with a friendly smile the evening we arrived and immediately attained a shower stool for our room when I requested one (the standard room happened to have no hand rails). Our room was not fancy and will not win any design awards, but it was very clean, efficient, and the bed was VERY comfortable. Despite being near a highway, we could not hear traffic, and best of all, the AC was quiet and smooth. The cleaning staff was also friendly. Will stay again when we visit our family here. Good value!

Shower was a bit difficult to manage. Breakfast of muffins and waffles? Nah. Didn't bother. For more than $100, I expect something more than that or cereal. I just slept, woke up and left, so there was nothing special about it.

Was looking for a cheap, clean place to stay. Didn’t need any amenities. Place was clean and comfortable, and seemed to be recently updated. This is the third time I’ve stayed there.

This hotel was amazing, especially for the price. I wish it had a pool, but ya just can't have everything! The rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. Anything we needed was taken care of right away. I am recovering from six broken ribs, and we were here for five days, so I tried to use the exercise room, but the only machine I could use was broken. Otherwise, the beds are super comfortable, and I've actually never slept on sheets that were that smooth and silky! Breakfast was good, but didn't have a super lot of options--waffles, cereal, yogurt, breads and fruit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and probably will!

Only thing I recommend is adding spray to put out for waffle iron for people. The waffles stuck for everyone. I know that's silly but we were looking forward to our waffles lol.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the bathroom door wouldn't shut in our room. It may have been because it was graduation weekend, but it was overpriced for what you get. If the price is usually lower, I would recommend staying if you're working. I wouldn't recommend for

The staff allowed someone else to checked into our room under our reservation. Our room was assigned to someone else even though it was under our reservation. I had to pay for a different room (which was refunded the next day) for the night. It caused unnecessary stress on me and my family. Even though we were refunded, how could the front desk gave away our reservation as all check-ins required an official ID and a credit card.

The room did not look anything like the pictures on the website. There was paint chipping off the walls and ceiling, there was a very strong musty smell throughout the room, along with mold on the ceiling in the shower. While the price was affordable, I would not recommend staying here.

If you just need sleep it’s fine

Overall, it was a fairly nice place to stay--very quiet. However, for the sake of us older people, a safety bar in the shower would be appreciated.

The bathroom had pubic hair and just hair in the tub. There was a dead cockroach on the floor when we woke up the first morning. The tub was like chipping off. The breakfast wasnt terrible but it was the same thing every morning. I wouldnt recommend this hotel for anyone.

Close to venue Water in shower could not get set right either to hot or to cold breakfast was done and over at 9am. I went down at 910 and everything was put up and the lady there was on her phone and never asked if there was anything I wanted. She never even acknowledged me

This is a working class hotel. Many of the guest are people working construction in the area. It is well maintained and quiet. The hotel is on a dead end drive was with a church between it and the main road so it feels very safe. The staff has always been very pleasant and cooperative.

Facility is spotlessly clean all the time. Staff are great, prolonged stay can seem questionable and unwelcome, especially if you’re transitioning into a new space. I don’t know how the vents in their bathrooms work though, they probably work subtly or don’t work at all. Plan accordingly, read all online reviews carefully, use your best judgment.

This hotel was very cheap to stay at. It was clean but is an older building, so lots of things were showing their age (cracks, discoloration etc).. In the evening in the dark, there were a lot of people smoking weed out front, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast is a bit basic, but nice that it was included.

Extra warm welcome! After a long day on the road, it sure was nice to see a welcoming and friendly staff! We drive between New Jersey and Charleston to visit 2 of our children. This is our favorite spot to stop, even though it's not really half-way because we love the hotel!

It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I appreciated the Continental breakfast. I liked the TV. I felt safe. Price was reasonable and the location worked great for me .

That i couldnt checkin before 3pm but thats no problem

Breakfast consisted of old bananas. Sticky packaged muffins. Cheese egg biscuit in a wrapper to heat in microwave. Hallways were very dirty. Lighing in room was dark. Location is off interstate next to a church, a very strange setup. The bathroom sink took forever to drain, the vent in bathroom didn't work, so you have to leave door open to let shower steam out, the door is a cheap hanging slide door instead of regular door. Front desk called in middle night saying we left our ID, it wasn't ours, so sleep was interrupted and family next door had children that were extremely loud and slamming doors during the night. I suggest not to stay at this motel.

We were there 5 days for pre christmas with family. Probably won't use Choice again as could not use Key Dollars. The rooms were only serviced every other day which was posted when we got there. Bath towel were minimal in size and quality so we got from front desk. Even on the srvice days only the towels in the bathroom were changed nothing else freshened up.

It was cold outside, 40f-50f. The room # 136 does not hold heat. Room gets cold almost immediately when heat is off. The heater is much too loud to leave running while trying to sleep.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Very thankful they were there to help me when needed. We had an adjoining room... that the door would not lock to. Very hard to sleep those nights worrying about someone mistakenly (or not) coming in. We pushed furniture in front of the door. The A/C unit had black specks all over it. Looked like mold, didn't try to clean or touch to find out. Little hairs on our bedspread/pillows and in the shower when we first got there.

I had a reservation for 10 days here, they barely cleaned room. I would be gone all day and come back to a dirty room that they came in and just took out dirty towels, nothing else do to room. This place also has roaches, which I seen in my room. So I definitely didn’t eat their free breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this nasty place at all.

This hotel is showing its age. I did see a small roach in the bathroom when I arrived. You can't turn left out of the parking doing you need to get on the highway you have to make a U-turn. Great staff. Quiet. Lots of construction workers stay here.

Following GPS directions at night, missed the driveway entrance which is not real obvious if you are not familiar with area. Finally rerouted back to entrance and then watch the speedbumps! Several going down the drive which are pretty high and you have GOT to go slow over. Check in was fine with a pleasant front desk rep. Initial smell was of the lobby was a bit mildewey/AC odor. Walking up the stairs to the 1st floor saw multiple boxes and mattress' and assorted lumber. I understand renovation but it could have been stored out of direct sight of the customer. Purpose as we were in town for a wedding. The waffle maker during breakfast was a plus.

Quick turn off the highway - almost missed it! Room is decent size & bed is comfy! So far, all is great. Check in was fine. Computer wasn't working so it took awhile but that's completely understandable. A little worn but it's all clean which is what matters. Looking forward to breakfast.

Wouldn’t allow me to stay with my SERVICE animal. Online it states it’s pet friendly but when I got there signs were posted no animals allowed. Manager was completely rude.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and the staff is very attentive if I have a situation. I like that there are just two floors. Less people, less noise lol. Breakfast is basic, waffles, bagels, cereal, muffins. They also provide yogurt and sausage sandwiches that you can microwave. Apple and orange juice only available during breakfast, coffee and tea available 24/7. If I could request anything, it would be to get more breakfast options. The fruit they provided was lacking and pitiful. How about some grapes, oranges, bananas, blueberries, strawberries.

The hotel had obvious water damage on our floor and the odor was horrendous. Two doors had towels stuffed at the bottom of them and the hall carpet was damaged and the odor made me want to hold my breathe. If we hadn’t already paid and it wasn’t 8:45 pm, I would never have stayed. Odor did not permeate our room. However, as soon as we opened our door, you could smell it. So bad that there was no way we were eating breakfast there. We checked out and had a nice breakfast elsewhere. Additionally, it was the worst mattress that I have slept on….literally rolled to the middle and I am not a large person. To have been rated “very good,” it was awful! Will not book though Hotels.com again. Would not trust ratings.

Room was nice enough although dated furniture somewhat stained. Issue with door security that was resolved within 5 minutes with a change to another room. Bed was very comfortable linens and clean towels daily with housekeeping services . Breakfast was good with a lot of different choices available and hot coffee and tea available all day long. Friendly and helpful staff at check in and check out and all throughout our stay. Only negative was difficulty in finding the entrance to the hotel which is also an entrance to a church lot.

This is our go to place to stay. It’s not expensive, it’s clean and they are nice. The rooms are big and beds are comfortable. They have remodeled and updated a lot.

The vending machine only accepts single dollar bills. Much to my dismay, after placing a $5.00 bill in the machine, I discovered it couldn't make change or place the order, NOR would it return the bill. Fix or replace the machine!!! In the interim, please let guests know at check-in about the status of vending machines. The signage isn't large enough for guests to notice that they're about to be ripped off.

It’s an older, poorly designed, hotel but it’s fairly well updated and clean. The breakfast does leave a bit to be desired considering the nightly rate.

The room felt pretty plain. The hotel overall could use an update for the rooms and halfway, although the lobby is updated. The bed linens didn’t feel fresh. They may have just been unused but felt and smelt slightly musky. Overall, that’s how the hotel felt. There was a really bright light outside my window. The window shade wouldn’t cover it up. Outside of this, it’s right next to the highway so it was pretty noisy. Don’t have high expectations coming here and all will be okay.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a night and it was overall okay. Definitely not the best place but wasn’t expecting much for the price. It is for sure not cleaned thoroughly or well. In the first room we were in there was a COCKROACH and we inspected for more and just found other types of bugs in dirty uncleaned corners. We were moved to a different room which seemed slightly cleaner and had no problems there.

I stayed for a long weekend visiting with my son and his family who live in Cary. Hotel is dated but I didn’t really need anything but a bed, towels, coffee and free breakfast. The bed was so comfortable!! Coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge are in the room. There was a club soccer tournament going on in Raleigh that weekend and the several players were coming and going but all and all it was a pleasant experience. Shout out to Erica at the front desk for being so sweet and helpful!

The staff was always there, not very happy though. The hotel is old but good for the price. I would recommend staying there for a short term.

This is our go to hotel in the Apex area. It is always clean, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is good and plenty of room.

It’s a solid spot for a few nights stay.

Staff members were courteous, and both our check-in and check-out were fine. The speed bumps in the parking lot are a bit high/rough. The bed was okay--nothing terrible but also not great for my back. Most importantly, the toilet made a very loud and annoying sound after each use and refilling of the bowl--the only way to fix it was to open the back and give it a small jolt. There was no way this was something that simply started when we arrived, so the hotel should have known about and fixed it. If I hadn't been determined to fix it myself, we might not have slept much on the night of our stay.

The property has outdated decor and needs an interior paint job. It doesn't smell fresh which gives it an unclean vibe. Check-in was fast and easy. The front desk clerk was kind and professional. If I could have canceled and received a refund, I would have left. But overall ok for a late night arrival, need somewhere to stay that's less than $200.

Easy check in and out. The rooms are clean and the facilities are as well. They have nice continental breakfast.

Clean basic hotel with no issues.

I wish to start by saying that I arrived slightly early with my wife for my stay and asked if I could check in already but they told me it would be a $35 charge to check in before the time, so I went to lunch and then returned. It was not worth the 2 hours. The place was good, with a comfortable room and bathroom (except for low pressure in the bathroom sink water. The location was near many places. TV had many premium channels, but for some reason, the volume would not go past 53 out of 100. Normally that would not be a problem, but when the AC unit (which was very good) was also extremely noisy when it cycled on, making it impossible to hear the TV. Breakfast which was good (not great) was up to 10 in the morning. At 10:01 they star packing all the stuff for the following day and by 10:02 am , nothing is available for breakfast, so be early. So if you don't mind not hearing the TV when the AC comes on, or strict time rules regarding check in and breakfast time, or low sink water pressure, the you will like this place.

The room was fine, furnishings are old and tired. They use very low wattage bulbs, so the room is still fairly dark with all the lights turned on. For me, most hotels have very uncomfortable beds and this was no different - felt like I was going to roll into the middle and never get out. Overall it was fine for a 1 night stay.

Room was clean but had an off smell. Also some mold was evident in the grout of the shower area.

That AC unit is moldy and super noisy. I am generally pleased with even. Otele in Raleigh area but this was disappointing.

It was a good Quality Inn. Was a clean room and comfortable bed. If I was to ever come back to Apex, I would stay here again.

Good stay! Very basic hotel, but the bed was awesome— sooo comfortable. Good location. Paid $35 for early check-in which was a nice option, but I wish hotels would just offer the option to shift timing since I left at 6am and it was definitely low occupancy:) Would stay again!

Very clean, friendly staff convenient

Breakfast was a let down. Pretty much just bread, a little fruit and some waffles. The elevator was at one end of a long hall and my room was at the other. Using the cart was a long push

The hotel was in a convenient location. it was well lit and main areas were clean. room was clean...as much as you would expect. room was well stocked appliance wise. everyone was friendly. Breakfast was good...but no bacon or sausage.

Mattress was uncomfortable and swayed in the center.

Loved how this place was so clean. This was my second stay and it was the same as the first. They are very consistent in how they do things. Will stay again.

We ended up changing rooms because the first room we were assigned was disgusting. There was a very dirty wash cloth and socks under the sink in the bathroom along with the room just not being clean overall. The second room was only a bit better as soon as I opened the door a bug fell from the ceiling. The ac was only working in bouts and the beds were uncomfortable. This was my 1st time trying a Quality Inn. Let’s just say the experience makes me never want to stay at one again.

We had a one night trip to attend the graduation at Duke University. The hotel was clean the breakfast was decent and the clerks at the front desk were professional. It was an okay stay for one night

Everything was great except the bed. It was broken and me and my wife ended up sleeping on the same 8 inches of bed in middle as it funneled us down every time we adjusted

Old. Everything feels old. Carpets, paint, Moulding, furniture. Sheets were clean.

Hotel is in need of updating. Several wall outlets were lacking power. No USB ports to charge phones and tablets . Needed devices to charge phones. Breakfast was minimal except for waffle maker. Hallways and elevators were messy and walls needed cleaning. Would not stay here again. On a positive side check in was quick and orderly. Clerk was friendly.
