This situation caused a lot of stress and inconvenience, especially having to worry about bringing bed bugs home with us. I would strongly recommend guests thoroughly inspect their rooms before unpacking.

The hotel was very easy to find. Do not let the outside fool you, the rooms were very nice and clean. Housekeeping came everyday with clean towels and sheets. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfortable. For the price you can’t ask for better. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to stay here again.

This place is not as accurate as the photos listed. The building is old and run down from the outside. The stairs leading up to the second level have to be a safety concern and are falling apart. The room smelt like cigarettes and mold. It was decently clean and no bugs. You could tell they tried to remodel but likely have water issues due to the paint peeling off the walls and ceiling cracks. Seems like the tried to paint over the issues. Walls had stains. Furniture was new, bathroom looked like it tried to be remodelled but could use a new toilet. Would not stay here unless it’s a busy night with a concert or sporting event as staying without an event is pretty sketchy. Owner was really nice however, just think the building could use some love and photos could be updated to accurately depict what you’re getting. Essentially, for the price you pay, keep your standards low.

A basic motel in a convenient location. Nothing fancy. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Waffle House and Cracker Barrel restaurants are nearby.

We enjoyed our stay, this wasn’t our first and it will not be our last. The manager waived the sec fee for us and that was such a big help for us because we had limited funds at the time and we really appreciated it!

This property had a big infestation We woke to bugs in the property. They offered to change rooms but it looked to be an infestation of cockroaches which would surely be in other rooms. I requested a full refund.

As a dad, I stayed here for Clemson parents weekend. I paid $300 for two nights, and you get what you pay for. The hotel is old but the owner has put in effort to paint each room, update the bathroom some, new mattresses, new TV and laminate flooring. Yes, I found a few bugs in my room but NO bed bugs. The hotel faces a busy road and the doors to the rooms face this road and are old so they let in a lot of light and noise. It is convenient to Clemson, there are a lot of restaurants around and it's right off the highway. Not sure I would stay here again, I know my wife wouldn't stay here.

However, the exterior was filthy. And the rooms look like they were upgraded about 5 years ago, but zero maintenance has been done since then. They should pressure wash the exterior and pick up the trash on the parking lot. These are easy, inexpensive fixes that would make a world of difference.

This place is trash. Where they had caulk the walls. They lift it very rough and only painted over it. The furniture is very stained. The inside of the front door had dirt room. Odor is terrible. We had booked tonight but left after the first night. I don't consider this place safe to sleep at

I cant say anything bad really except the drink machine was empty. Otherwise i got what i expected and it was what my family needed for the night. I am grateful we had lodging and they dont claim to be a 5 star hotel. So we were happy with our stay. We had power, a clean room and hot water.

When we checked in I got a room for two clean beds and they gave us two doubles and said that they didn't have queen size beds. Then when we get to the room we had no toilet paper our mini fridge didn't work and our microwave didn't work they said there was nothing they could do about it then a day after our stay the TV stopped working and they said there was nothing we could do about that as well the body wash they provided was empty and also when they went in they just didn't knock they just tried to enter your room which is very creepy if you're staying with your wife and baby and you're at work

The room was okay, but only had an outdated TV with cable, unadjustable shower head in the shower, and the mattress was fairly clean, but stained. My room was also not ready at check-in time, so waited about 15-20 minutes for it to be cleaned. The guy working the front desk was fairly unfriendly, as well, and I was questioned about if I would have guests in my room, which was pretty annoying.

The owners are on property and care about this facility. The only reasons not 5 stars is road noise is a bit loud and they had a work crew re-roofing the entire roof and was noisy from about 8:30am until 6pmish. However the owners moved us to a room less noisy and was much better. We will stay here again. Great place for the price!

We just needed a place to sleep and shower. The price was very reasonable and the bed was great. The shower was newly remodeled and also great. The room even had a nice new, large flat screen TV. The place isn't fancy but was just what we look for when just needing a quick overnight stay.

The property is definitely dated, but the rooms were nice. Hardwood floors were very welcomed, and don't understand why more hotels/motels don't do that

Staff was friendly. Rooms seem updated. Area is fairly serene and quiet. However, cleanliness was an issue. There was a small spot of dried blood on the bathroom door. The remote control was disgusting. Grime and stickiness all over it. The bed linens seemed pretty clean, as did the towels ..but they had old stains on them some of them are turning yellow.

It was everything I needed! Clean and functional! Comfortable bed. Easiest check in and check out and parking right in front of my room. Close to I 85 and to a couple good restaurants. Did the trick!

1) The property is a “motel” with entrance to room directly from outdoors. There is no insulation as well as gaps in the door and you hear everything all night from the adjacent very busy highway/interstate. 2) The room was FILTHY. The sheets were stained. The floor had not been mopped…the dirts left on our socks from walking around was unbelievable. Would not recommend walking with bare feet! There were dust bunnies/hair behind the sliding door to the bathroom as well. The shower was a moldy pink Petri dish. The sink doesn’t drain. 3) This place is likely a rent by the hour establishment.

Not real happy with Hotels.com on this one! Feel the hotel was over-rated - especially for the price. It was fairly clean and safe. No coffee maker. Sheets and towels were "clean" but had stains on them. Chose this hotel for quick one night stay because of the ratings on my App and was pretty disappointed that it showed such high ratings. Again, I would stay here again if the price were considerably less, to save on expense, but not for what Hotels.com charged me!!

We happened to be rerouted through the Carolinas after snow storm Izzy plowed in through TN which is the route we typcially take back to Texas from Williamsburg VA. By 10pm we noticed the temps dropping well below freezing and the roads freezing over. We eventually were the only ones on the highway EXCEPT snow trucks. After hydroplaning twice we began searching for shelter. North Carolina was booked to capacity. Long story short from 10p -about 620a we wouldn't find ANYTHING and the roads were getting worse. My husband and 4 kids ages 16, 11, 6, and 2y all girls pulled over to a truck stop with about a foot of snow. Something told me try my luck one more time. We called Roadway Inn and was welcomed without hesitation. We made it by 645a checked in with ease, and was allowed to stay until 1p to ensure we got plenty rest. It is an old hotel but well maintained and rennovated. The only thing we noticed was a strong musky old smell when we entered into the room. Typical with old facilities but this was pretty strong. Everything was clean and new. Best part, the huge walk in GLASS shower. Hot hot water, and GREAT water pressure. Beds were comfortable and a/c blew colder than outside. Just the way we like to freeze - I mean sleep lol. We needed that stop. The next day the roads were thawed and the sky was sunny. I would stay here again under these types of conditions (cant be picky when needy!).

Check in time was supposed to be 3pm but the staff worked with us and got us in at 11am. The room was clean, nice and big, and had a mini fridge and microwave. I was very happy there.

This charming Inn has been updated with high quality shower and very comfy beds!!!

Basic motel newly remodeled. Lots of working construction type clientele so a bit loud when they leave at 6 am. Other than that, fit our needs.

Picture of location extremely deceptive -- what is presented as a hotel set back with greenspace is really right off a highway exit. The parking lot was sketchy and I saw several people who appeared to be prostitutes in the area, one of whom came out of the hotel, walked across the parking lot and began to ply her services at the roadside.

This hotel is very convenient when visiting Clemson University as it is right beside I-85 at the Anderson exit. There are a number of places to eat nearby. The only issue I had was with cleanliness. There were black spots on the white sheets, hair in the shower, and a nasty stain on the window blinds.

It's in the seedier area but well lit and cameras everywhere. For the price you can't beat it.
