Holiday Inn Express Anderson by IHG

They were remodeling on my floor and lots of noise and workers..I felt like I should have been told in advance or discounted. Elevator was constantly not working.

The room was clean and comfortable with great AC. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

That room smelled like dirty water. Front desk was made aware but no one checked the room. The bathroom had mold in it and the fan did not work. The property is in the middle of being remodeled. We had a construction crew right outside our door at 8am. Fitness area is closed, hallways are a mess. Not being managed especially well, would recommend considering carefully until project is done.

While I was able to see into some of the new rooms, which looked great, I found my room (not renovated) to be perfectly fine, furnishings were in good condition, and my King Suite with jetted tub was comfortable. The tub itself was a bit small, and while it was only 4 jets in the tub, they were powerful and it was very relaxing! My biggest gripe was breakfast ending early at 9am, especially on a Saturday morning. Breakfast itself was good, although by 8:30am, I got the last strip of bacon, and sadly they had run out of the tasty cinnamon rolls. No staff were present restocking in the last 1/2 hour. Really liked the new HIE coffee machines too! The room had lots of lighting, was clean, comfortable, especially the bed, and overall it was a great stay and great value. Food/restaurants and gas close by. One note regarding the shower, water pressure was great, gets very hot, but shower was a bit slippery.

This hotel is being remodeled, when we checked in the night attendant let me know this, we have stayed here before so I was ok with this. There was no actual work being done over the weekend that we stayed. It was odd seeing over half of the rooms empty and gutted. But I know it will be great once this has been completed

Everything was excellent!

The complementary breakfast was wonderful! Lots of delicious selections and it was great! Staff were very friendly and informative! The GPS took us 7 minutes out of the way through back road when we could have literally taken a right of the exit ramp and been at the property in less than a minute!

That I cleaned up the room and never got My $50 deposit back

The staff was very nice and took very well care of us, especially the girl that did the booking, The elevators, the hallways the room all smelled like dirty socks, the shower you couldn’t use it. I’m glad it was only one night.

Girl at check in was nice. Room was comfortable and fitting. Breakfast was good, many available choices. There's places to eat right outside the hotel in walking distance. The hotel situated right off the expressway which makes it convenient. They are under construction with work being done to one side of the hotel. So you may experience some noise and debris around. Carpets and elevators floors needs cleaning but I understand that's may be from the construction.

We enjoyed everything about it, from the service. The gentleman for the evening shift was really nice, made checking in great. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was clean, and I would love to stay there again if we're in the area.

Refrigerator was leaking all over the floor. Moved to a second room and the same was beginning to happen in front of that refrigerator also. We kept the second room. Breakfast was delicious! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice.

What an amazing place to stay! It’s quiet and oh so clean! The staff is friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is absolutely wonderful! When I come to Anderson again this will be my go-to home away from home.

Good variety of selection for breakfast. Especially liked the coffee brew stations. Comforting to see the welcome message and Bible verse. Loud noises occurred from other rooms and ours whenever water was turned on or flushed. Rooms had no sound barriers.

When I checked in, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet. Breakfast was great (especially the coffee).

We have stayed at this hotel before and had good experiences. Booked it for my family. Their car and five others were burglarized. The hotel has no cameras. Although the hotel was notified and police had been called by the time we found out about the car, my family was not notified or provided any information from the hotel. Communication on what occurred would have been nice.

The bathroom toilet wasn’t working properly, and the bathtub/shower was old and narrow. The room’s refrigerator compressor fan was noisy. Good in room heater and tv were the only plus. We will not be back.

For the price you get about what you expect. The pulldown shade in my room was beyond broken, and I wasn’t able to pull it down. Street lights very bright and without a shade was difficult to sleep. Also some mold in the bathtub. This hotel is on a major road and the Road noise is significant.

For a smaller, older Holiday Inn Express I thought it was very nice. It is right off the highway which was convenient. I used the guest washer dryer while i was there. Staff members were helpful and friendly.

Overall good experience. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. We did find a beer can left over from the previous occupant. Only other downside for us was the tub. It is curved strange and you feel like your ankles are are going to give out standing in the shower.

Nice hotel and the most comfy bed!! They only had a double , not king but it was a great clean room. I wish the cable packages in hotels had more than sports. So many sports channels ... Great breakfast , coffee is weak, but most hotels serve weak coffee, hahah, i drink strong coffee.

I had a couple next door that were very sexual and loud and it was to the point of harassing me. It was VERY LOUD and disturbed me. Even after I complained they kept on and I was honestly afraid they would come after me after the first call was made for them to be quiet. I’ve had problems with this hotel and the one next door. This area is awful

And after I had all ready paid for the room thru Hotels. Com, that made me feel insulted ! I pay over $200 dollars for a room for 2 days that you expect it to be clean ,and undamaged!! The restaurant had a speedy check in and met the needs. I did spend extra for a whirlpool tub thinking it was a jacuzzi, but it was only a bathtub with jets. The stay was still enjoyable.

Old place not in the best of condition. Room smelled. Was supposed to be a whirlpool room but the unit was way 2 small to use. Wound not go back. Paid 115.00 for a 55.00 room.

Very friendly and accommodating. Quiet nights and plentiful breakfast. Close to restaurants, gas and liquor.

The customer service at check in/out was great, the room was clean, and the breakfast omelets were cold and not very good. No one was around during the breakfast time and I saw many guests trying to figure out the pancake machine.

The room was so clean and the gentlemen that checked me in was so warm and welcoming. He had excellent customer service skills.

Great location and the breakfast was really good. Room was very clean and the front desk person was very helpful and nice when we checked in.

Highly recommended... friendly, helpful staff. Dryer wasn’t working, and the attendant offered to use the staff dryer to finish my clothes. Above and beyond!
