The location is great if you are continuing on to the East or West. The room was quiet enough. The breakfast was okay but the breakfast was served in the lobby next to the entrance. The bed was not very comfortable. No elevators to the 2nd floor.

The rooms were supposed to be non smoking and both smelled like smoke. The women in the other room had to leave and get another room at another hotel. So in turn we payed double. No one even stayed in one of the rooms I paid for. I told the lady at the front desk and all she could say was all the rooms were non smoking.

In my room, I found several cockroaches, and the mattress was extremely hard. There was also a group of people smoking right outside my door, and it sounded like people were running around in the room above mine.

Lots of cold cranberry juice and OJ. Also the Texas shaped waffle makes a lovely souvenir of our road trip my wife was delighted with it. Couldn't the Prostate Chat group on the triple digit cable channels. Just boring local Amarillo news about police chases ending in dumpsters.

Place seems to have been recently renovated and looks new. Bed was not good, very uncomfortable.

My wife and I did not have breakfast but, I was able to get the same room (114) for us on our return trip from the East coast. That room worked out so well for us! We will be traveling again next June and I hope to reserve that room again. The staff was very friendly and they helped me out quite well. Nothing to report!

Overall stay was good. Room was very clean and spacious. AC worked great. Hallways were really warm, though. Free breakfast was provided right at 6:00am and had several options to choose from. Address listed was incorrect. Sent to wrong Super 8, Super 8 West instead of East.

Young lady's when I checked out and checked in were helpful and respectful. The process of getting situated with the room was straightforward and experienced no issues. The room itself was well maintained and smelt good. Blessings

Nothing Coming from a road trip. No hot water, and no one informed us. We checked in at around Friday night at 10:30 11 pm at night in check in date and went to room. Room smells, not comfortable. Comforters smelled. No clean towels. Main issue no hot water. No one informed of us of no hot water. I even called at night about no hot water. Waited to see in morning if hot water, still no hot water. My friends room also no hot water. I booked 2 rooms total - one for my family, and one for friends family. In morning woke up, still no hot water. Went to front desk and in morning they told us u can stay longer or ask for refund thru booking or call the manager On Monday. Booking was ok to issue refund entirely but needed in writing. Since we were on road trip we left by 9 am ish. Was not able to use the facility and paid about $182. Called Monday to the manager and she called back and said can issue $11 refund for each room as she says wyndham is allowing 15% discount. Ridiculous. Still no refund to date. I followed up thru booking and still no response back. Check in date was Dec 27th/28th. The manager didn’t want to listen and was rude. She was like the first time she got informed was 5 am in morning. Paying about $200 and was not able to really enjoy the stay or even have access to hot water. Horrible! Would never recommend.

it was in an unusual location on a one-way street, which made it harder for a stranger to get around. i wasn't used to driving in amarillo, so it took me awhile to figure out how to get to local eateries. in general, room was comfortable, and the fridge and micro made it easy to stay in and eat.

The entire property was run down and in need of repair, wall paper torn in the room and stained carpet. There was a distinctly unpleasant smell in the halls and room. The website advertised a room with two queen beds which were actually full sized beds. The wifi did not work and no one picked up when we called the front desk. I would NEVER Stay at this hotel again.

There is an abandoned building next to this property, there is a need for some renovation, and cameras pointing towards all parking lots would be safe , my car was hit overnight and no video was found because of the lack of cameras. Would not recommend staying there until some maintenance is done to the building

If you are looking for a clean room and a comfortable bed while traveling this is a great option. So the property is older and looks questionable. Do not judge the book by the cover. The room was clean, ac worked, the light fixtures are outdated, but no big issues. Great travel option.

The exterior and interior need updating. The cleaning in the restroom was half way done. The pictures were deceiving. Luckily, I just needed to sleep and go. I do not recommend for long stays unless you’re on a tight budget.

Other than 1970s look, street people all around the building constantly. Garbage in the parking lot. The staff of Super 8, one person decided not to serve breakfast becuse, "her words" not many people stayed the night before. Absolutely wouldn't recommend or stay there again!

There was a spring from the mattress that poked me in the ribs while I was sleeping. There was a thermostat on the wall that didn’t control anything? We had to use the controls on the unit itself which isn’t THAT big of a deal but what was the thermostat for? It just kept saying the battery needed to be replaced? Also the parking lot was a little sketchy as the place next door was all bordered up.

Staff was friendly. Our room was disappointing. The furniture was mismatched and the bathroom needed to be upgraded. There was a round toilet seat on an oblong toilet. Also the controls for the shower did not work properly.

The room was clean and check in was quick which was nice since we arrived late. There were signs indicating the property was under renovation. Our mattress was well worn with sagging in the middle.

Facility was being renovated which was fine. Key card was needed to enter the outside entrances and the room. It was secured but what I had a problem with, was the entrance into the office entry from the rooms hallway, was locked. It required you to push an unmarked doorbell to gain entry, or, exit the building and enter through the office front entry. Maybe it was a high crime rate area but I'm only speculating. Parking area was extremely well lit up at night.

The curved shower rod would have been a nice touch if it had been placed properly (door was in the way). The toilet was very close to the wall and the paper roller was so close I had to sit cockeyed. There was a couch! Good thing, because I slept on that, the mattress was so bad. Putting a pad on the mattress will keep it cleaner but won't make it more comfortable. The tub needs to be SCRUBBED, not just sprayed with cleaner. I could see the rivulet marks from the cleaner running down the wall. The people were friendly!

In a renovations. Thewood floors were sticky. They must be using the wrong cleaner as floor made my stocking feet dirty. Toilet seat obviously needed replaced and heater was very loud. Staff was fine but closed breakfast prior to posted closing time, leaving no food.

15 minutes after I checked in the room next door had a dog that started barking. ...this was nearly 10 pm. I called the front desk and the manager refused to move me because "I had been there to long already". I stated that it wasnt my fault that the dog just started barking and that even tho there was a sign up front that said NO PETS ALLOWED, I still had to deal with a barking dog next door. The dog was quiet for 10 +/- minutes after I called them, but then started again, more than earlier - this was not a small terrier bark, more like a mid sized dog btw. So I walked up to the front, after 10 pm now and a 6 hour drive and the manager was gone, the poor overnight girl said "she couldnt override the managers instructions because I had been there too long already. I complained about the "NO PETS ALLOWED" sign pointing to the wall where the sign HAD BEEN. The manager had taken the sign down after my phone complaint the overnight girl admitted. I was fustrated and tired and in disbelief that they wouldn't move me. This was 100% the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. There were 2 more barking episodes before I just crashed from exhaustion......NEVER TO USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I deserve my money back, but I know the unconcerned manager will refuse, maybe this sad story will result in people staying at other more caring and responsive hotels which is an even more painful outcome for her and her ownership.

This hotel has very poor/rude customer service and dirty area. Food area was not clean and stopped the breakfast bar 30 min before 9:00 AM. Too expensive for the money.

Pretty good option for the price. We only slept here but felt the condition and location was great for a short time. Read awful reviews about the La Quintas and since we were traveling with a pet, we needed this option available. Glad we chose Super 8.

The property is under renovation. Carpet in the room and hallway is new. Breakfast is pretty limited and not filled promptly.

First, Sherry was excellent! Working overnights, it would make it much better for her if she could bring her dog! The location is less than safe and having my dog made it much safer. The upgrades are working, surprised that you are putting carpet in the rooms- most hotels are moving to hardwood (vinyl). The floors in bathroom were dirty - possibly construction mess.

Great staff, just needs a better entrance for entering from east bound i40. But staff was very nice and helpful. Overall ok stay and perfect for having animals.

The room wreaked, smelled of drug use. Like burnt popcorn. Girlfriend stepped on a needle that was stuck in the carpet

Being renovated. Exterior doors locked. Hallways and rooms show paint drips and unfinished feel.

Thismis an older property being renovated, but the maintenance is so bad it doesn't look worth it to me. Amarillo has the worse traffic patterns, dimly lit streets, and looks run down industrial. This motel fits right in there. Toilet didn't flush without encouragement. Refigerator and cooling unit were both loud. Parking lot was filthy.

The room was a nice size with microwave and fridge. The bed was super hard but when you are tired you aren't too picky

The room was decent and clean. It was comfortable once we got into the room. The area that this hotel was located was a little sketchy, made me a little nervous. When we walked into the hallway after we checked in, it smelled like marijuana bad. We couldn’t smell it in our room, so we didn’t say anything. Overall, a good sleep, no issues in the room. Bathroom was clean, hot water was good. Beds were clean & comfortable, new carpet and decor.

Problems with the room. Batteries dead in TV remote, hair dryer doesn't work, old used coffee pack in coffee pot. Ice maker doesn't work. This has to be the worst place I have ever stayed at and i would never stay at another Super 8 again.
