The shampoo and conditioner was awful. But overall a good hotel. I think the cliental was bad while I was there. I would choose another place if I pass through Amarillo.

I love this property. It's very clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast here is always good. This is absolutely not the property's issue, but there is construction on the road that creates a great amount of difficulty to get into the lot. Medians are in progress that eliminate the ability to turn left into the property. If you are in a large truck or arriving at night you'll have a hard time finding a place to make a u turn close to the property.

We will stay here again. The bathroom was much better than most properties where we have stayed. The bed was comfortable and the room was decorated nicely. Breakfast staff was friendly and made sure everything was fresh and hot. The only negative was that there was a musty smell when you walk in the front dooor.

Because my travel was delayed significantly, we could not stay at the hotel at all. I called the hotel reception well in advance, and I requested for the cancellation/rescheduling our stay for the next day, but the hotel customer service guy told me that since I booked the hotel through Expedia, my hotel booking can not be refunded or rescheduled. I had paid $196.65 for the hotel room, and it got wasted due to no fault of ours. What a waste of money and inconvenience! I WILL NEVER book the hotels on EXPEDIA.

Upon arrival, property was beautiful! Check in was easy, the gentleman who checked us in was so friendly! Ice machine third floor was broken, rooms were nice but not clean. There was a used tampon bottom of the headboard, the curtain hooks were all broken, and all shampoo , conditioner and body wash bottles were so old and looked like all they do is refill them. Towels had stains, we found a tick. Breakfast was good, BUT staff was SO rude and was rushing guests out. IT IS POSTED BREAKFAST IS OPEN UNTIL 10 am, this lady was packing up all food and taking all items around 9:25. Staring at guests walking in looking for food and making ugly faces. Extremely rude!!!!!! Spraying and wiping off tables literally right next to us and next to our food!!!!!!!!! That did it for me!!!!! Staff needs better training, and if breakfast is until ten , leave it out until 10!!!!!! They were even making rude remarks in Spanish thinking we didn’t understand them!!!!!!!!

Guests and staff routinely let room doors slam at all hours of the day. Housekeeping personnel spoke loud enough in hallways to wake me up. Hotel was clean but that was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, zero attempt to keep noise at a reasonable level. Do better IHG!

The Hotel was comfortable. However I was very disappointed that someone/something had had a stool accident near the entrance. Although it was reported by several people it was not dealt with and was still present in the morning. Not even covered, to draw attention to it. I think 6:30 is too late for breakfast as travellers like to get on the road. There were several couples waiting for the dining room to open

Wonderful room and great breakfast. Yet several issues were concerning. The awkward issue was holding one's room card in the elevator, while dealing with suitcases, to get the elevator to "go". The other issues were more concerning though: the trash issue outside needs to be addressed. And the doggie issue. Having service dogs is one necessary thing but having pets in rooms and then barking in the breakfast room... not good, not safe. A newer hotel that is very attractive - yet, a few situations which could easily be addressed.

Overall great hotel, my only complaint is the tv is old. It’s not a smart tv, there is no guide for the chancel, so you have to just surf each Chanel slowly to see what’s on. Als the iron was not working which was a little frustrating because I didn’t have time to wait for another one.

This is a fairly basic, bland Holiday Inn Express in a very new strip area. There is no outdoor area to sit in and nothing to walk to. It’s adequate for one night if you’re driving to somewhere else.

The hotel looks basically new. Walkable to restaurants. Quiet. Great place to stop and stay on my drive home from Tucson. Some construction in the area with road improvements, but they didn't create any noise or issues during my brief stay.

It was nice inside and comfortable. All of the luggage carts were gone at 1 am? There were 3 trash cans outside the property and all were overflowing.

The parking lot could probably use a bit of expansion. We stayed on a Sunday night, arrived around 6pm, and parking along the front was full, and parking in the back was full enough that I had to park on the far end of the lot. But at least it was well lit and didn’t feel unsafe whatsoever.

Our room was 80 degrees the whole time. We turned the heater off, turned the Ac on, and nothing. The heater was still going. The front desk didn't know what was going on and didn't have a different room to transfer us to. I won't be staying there again.

This hotel has always been excellent - I stay in it 2-3 times a year. Very clean, attractive rooms and very functional. The only reason I gave a lower rating than Excellent is that my room wasn't serviced during my stay which was disappointing.

Room appeared dirty. Something unpleasant all over the walls. VERY loud atmosphere with pool outside room. Also, there was a wrestling match we were not aware of happening down stairs that added to the noise level.

It was super clean, the bed was a huge King (I lost my husband). They staff was wonderful, the amenities were great, AND they had toothbrushes or combs etc. If you forgot anything. They were pet friendly so it helped. The only thing is you can hear everyone in the hall and I could tell who was in the shower.

Room was in good condition . The heater was noisy, the room doors slam shut making very noisy at night with the other adjoining rooms. No security cameras located in the parking area. I watched a U-haul being broken into at 8:10 am in front of the facility.

I believe the manager checked me in. Worked with me on getting a good room location since there were school kids there and also had a fan for us to use. We’ve stayed here several times because it’s CLEAN and nice!

Other than the room being dusty, the hotel was nice and clean. The service was great and the people were very nice. The rooms were noisy until around 10pm and we could hear people walking above us. If we come again, we will request a room on the top floor for noise reduction.

1st floor assessable room Only 1 washcloth and 3 large towels. Soap dispensers were on wall behind shower bench and too high up to be reachable. Ramp for wheelchair access has huge bumps that a walker can’t handle well and end doors to hotel are not wheelchair accessible

The staff was friendly. Loved the bed and sheets. After checking in and unpacking we realized the large gap under the hotel door into the hallway. Large enough for us to roll a towel and place it under the door into the gap. After noticing the gap and going to lock the manual lock, it didn't line up with the door frame cutout for the deadbolt. We stayed on the 1st floor, very tall ceilings, great room overall. We just didnt want to have to go through changing rooms with the dogs and after unpacking. We knew we'd be ok with the "swinging door flip guard".

Great overnight stop right off the interstate. Our double‑queen room was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable — especially the pillows. The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids after a long day of driving. Staff was friendly and quick to bring fresh towels when the pool ran out. Breakfast was just okay, but expected for a complimentary option. Some light noise from above, but nothing that affected sleep. Overall, a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay for families passing through Amarillo.

Thin walls. Three stars for the thin walls. It would be two stars, but I'm upgrading one star for the bed comfortability and dog-friendly accommodations. There was constant running water in our walls from the floors above us. Maybe we got the unlucky room where the pipes drain right next to the bed, but the noises were just too much. At 6am the next morning, I heard bathroom body sounds from the room next door. I wish this was not true, but it is. New hotels offer trendy aesthetics, but must be cutting costs in the building and construction. Bring back sound-proof walls. Thanks!

Our stay at this hotel was marvelous! We stayed two individual nights; one on the way to Colorado and one on the return. Both times the staff was friendly and efficient, the lobby was clean and inviting and the room was spotless!!! Everything was in working order and thevrate was outstanding!! As always, Holiday Inn delivers with cinnamon rolls for breakfast. And this location had crisps bacon and scrambled eggs that even pleased my quite particular husband. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

The next morning, i went down for breakfast at 6:30. The dining room was dark, but I sat at a small table to wait. Both the sign at the hotel and the website says breakfast starts at 6:30 am. As I waited, more guests started to come down. The lobby and dining area started to fill up with people waiting for breakfast. The lights were finally turned on just before 7:10. It was a mad rush of people trying to get breakfast. I understand that sometimes people are late or the hotel is shorthanded, but to be that late in serving breakfast is inexcusable on a holiday weekend. People are trying to eat and get on the road. I dropped my keycard off in the Dropbox and I came back in to fill up my travel cup with ice water. The ice machine was not working, so I went to the front desk to find out where I could get some ice and water. The woman at the front desk indicated to go to the ice machine. I told her it wasn’t working and asked where I could get ice and water, she indicated any of the floors had ice machines. When I told her I had already dropped off my key, she just shrugged her shoulders and gave no assistance in getting me any ice. I left extremely frustrated and won’t stay at this hotel ever again.

Breakfast was great. It was VERY dirty under the counter (not just a mornings worth). Exercise equipment variety was okay. The floors in the lobby were filthy. The men's restroom off the lobby was also filthy.

The room was nice and quiet, very clean! The temperature in the room was perfect. The king size bed was very comfortable. I loved how they provide 4 pillows and they were labeled "soft and firm". They also provided black microfiber makeup wash cloths. Breakfast was hot and appealing, quite a few choices! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

Breakfast was spectacular, so much more than a continental breakfast. The weather was unseasonably warm. It was hard to keep the room from being too warm without shutting off the unit or turning on the air conditioning. Windows were secured, so no fresh air. Overall, the hotel was wonderful. It is so nice and clean it appeared to be new.

Our flight got delayed and made us miss our flight and when I tried to call to tell the hotel they said there’s nothing they could do. When we went to check in they had cancelled our room and gave it away. And they were not willing to work with us at all and didn’t try to help us get a room.

I would have rated the room at five stars, as it was clean, quiet, in good maintenance, and the staff was polite and professional. What degraded my rating is the fact that IHG put a $20 tracer on my card twice, once on my trip out east, and once again when I was on my return leg. The oldest tracer is three weeks old and has yet to fall off the card. There is no logical reason whatsoever for a business placing a hold for "incidentals" (of which there were none) that lasts three weeks or more. Fix this issue and you'll earn a five-star rating from me. Thank you.

New construction. Clean and safe with an indoor pool. Close to restaurants and I40. Only negative is the room doors self close and slam really hard shaking the walls all the way down the hall.

Very clean and convenient. Breakfast was good and I liked the soft pillows and tv in the bathroom. The main tv could have been a little larger but overall would definitely stay again!

Room was clean comfortable and staff very friendly. Major problem was noise. People in the hall being very loud and nothing being said to them. Walls were paper thin--I could hear people talking, taking a shower, and the alarm clock go off at 4:30 am. Not a restful night at all. Will not go back.

Too much noise from other rooms. The walls don't have enough soundproof insulation. Even with the tag for Do Not Disturb, the housekeeping staff keeps knocking at our door in the morning.

This place is looking pretty long in the tooth. The air conditioner is very noisy and doesn't seem to answer to the thermostat. The TV in the bathroom did not work and there are neither vents nor a fan in the bathroom so it gets pretty uncomfortable after a shower. The TV in the room has very limited choices: no Netflix or Hulu capability. That's a serious deficit. The staff was nice, but the facility? Meh.

One of the best hotel breakfasts that I have had in a while.

The staff was very friendly and the room is clean and comfortable. However, the walls are thin, and there was a lot of people running up and down the hall, dogs barking, and someone above us stomping around on the floor all night. None of us got a very good night sleep and we are exhausted.

The fridge door had been left open so the freezer defrosted and leaked water everywhere. There was a missing towel hook in my bathroom. So no place to put the towel you need when you exit the shower. The AC had a noisy squeak on high so I had to turn to low. Bed was OK. One of the trashcans had not been emptied since previous guest. The doors are have and slam shut so there is zero chance of sleeping in. Breakfast looked good but the egg and cheese thing was tasteless. Sausages were OK. Toast with PB prob saved my life. The room had all sorts of noises. From the fridge/sink area. It was not a restful night at all.

This hotel is conveniently located just off I-40. Very nice decor, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Will stay here again.

I actually booked this room for my son and his girlfriend. They were on their way home to Albuquerque, New Mexico. They said it was a very nice experience and the breakfast was wonderful.

Parking spaces could be a little bigger. Bath towels were old and frayed. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable. Room temperature was easy to adjust. Nice setup in room with sink, fridge, etc in small bar area. Liked the brand, Dove, for toiletries.

Clean, comfortable, modern and loved the kitchenette. This was the best hotel we stayed at on our 10 day road trip. It is on the outskirts of town but convenient to a freeway and about 5-10 minutes within the center of Amarillo. Worth the drive.

This was a VERY nice and clean place. The bed was so comfortable. We had no issues checking in and zero issues checking in our dog. Breakfast was great and we could smell it as it was cooked. Yum! We will be staying here again on our way back from our cross country trip. Highly recommend.

I booked the trip beginning on Monday, but I meant to book it beginning on Tuesday. The people at the front desk were so understanding and managed to reinstate our reservation. The staff was terrific, and the breakfasts were excellent - very good coffee.

The dining choices are great! We chose Saltgrass Steakhouse and was very pleased. It was literally a few minutes drive from the hotel! We have traveled through Amarillo a few times, this was our first time choosing here and it was the right choice!

Staff was very welcoming. Very nice and clean. The only complaint I have is that with the lights turned off, there is still a lot of light emitted from various things. The bathroom outlet has a nightlight built into it which is bright on it’s own, but it’s also reflected in the mirror in the bathroom and on the mirror outside the bathroom, microwave has a light hall light shine brightly at the bottom of the door. While some may appreciate the lights, I don’t. But now I know to just pack some paint tape.

This was an older hotel and the doors didn't "seat" or lock well and there was light visible into the hallway so please check those and you shouldn't charge a Pet fee for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). We provided a letter for the ESA dog and still didn't matter.

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The facility was clean and updated. We love the Express shop. They were cery accommodating with my dog as well.

The amenities on the floor did not work. Ice maker washer dryer had errors the entire time and when reported was told nothing they could do.

The room was nice, bed was good and breakfast was good. My only complaints were that the tvs are old old non smart tvs. The power went out multiple times leaving us in total darkness and the alarm clock had the wrong time and could not be changed.
