    Location Issue with reservation on booking.com. They said no rooms available and 20 minutes later after trying to work with new system somehow found a room. At breakfast tried to charge me for breakfast when I showed reservation shows breakfast included spent another 10 minutes getting a manager on phone but did honor it with no charge. And the hot tub was not working which was another reason I chose the hotel.

    Prob the worst Marriott stay for me ever. No rooms ready for check in after 5 pm. Had to come back later. Gym water filer needed replacing and no sanitizing wipes. Told staff. Not fixed by next day. Our room had mold in shower and toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. Disappointing stay. And for that price a free continental breakfast at least.

    Great, quiet, safe place for the night. Breakfast isn’t included unfortunately but you can purchase at the cafe there. We booked a king with a pull out bed. The room was laid out well. Only complaint was the pullout couch while modern and cool looking has a terrible mattress. It has no mattress. It’s a modular sectional that you simply open up. So technically while it’s a surface to sleep on, our poor 10 year had the worst nights sleep ever and ended up between us. First world problems but I thought I’d save a family from booking that and rather get two beds so everyone sleeps well❤️

    2. Hair all over the shower wall 3. No breakfast. Even the Days Inn gives you something for breakfast at half the price. My spare tire on my trailer was stolen. They claimed they didn’t have cameras outside….really? Huge safety issue. Will NEVER stay at one again.

    The breakfast that you pay for is a joke...It's 4 small items you're allowed to choose from. When we got there, we had driven 6.5 hours to show up to a hotel room where it clearly states I have 5 people staying in the room, 2 adults & 3 children, there was not a pull out couch, the manager told me I could have some 'bedding' to lay on the floor for my son to make a pallet to sleep on. When we finally got ready for bed, the TV quit working, I went downstairs to ask the manager for help & she said "they just installed the boxes yesterday, I don't know how to help you" sooo we didn't even have TV for the one night we stayed there. When you walk in the hotel looks gorgeous & has everything you'd ever need but looks can be very deceiving. The main elevator in the lobby is absolute trash too. The rolling cart that you can use to bring your bags up was completely broken in 3 different pieces. It was the worst experience I've had at a hotel. What a joke!!

    The pool and hottub wear not as clean as it could be there was rust in the bottom of the hot tub and all the water jets didnt work. I thought the restaurant and bar was expensive. A Veteran di ount would be nice. The room was clean but the balcony was terrible its needs a good cleaning And there was one damage to the air-conditioning unit goos thing we were not with our grandbabies they have been injured

I didn't request a quiet room like stated in the question above and there was 2 long pieces of hair on the shower wall and a glob of hair on the wash rags which was pretty gross. when I booked, it also said 2 Queen peds and a sofa bed.But that's not the room I received

It was very unnerving over night with my family. I was worried about our belongings while we weren’t in the room. The hot tub was so hot that it was completely unusable, not safe. .

    Not sure what the hotel is like but the management is not understanding at ALL. Regardless Hotels.com is the main entity at fault. I clicked on the other Marriott in downtown Amarillo and somehow Hotels.com got it mixed up and booked me a room at West/Medical. I called Expedia (parent company of Hotels.com) and told them what happened so they called management at Marriott West/Medical to try and move the reservation to the CORRECT hotel but West/Medical said they wouldn't. I had to end up eating $125. I'll NEVER stay at Marriott West/Medical and I'll NEVER use Hotels.com again

    I am very disappointed, I was charged by hotels.com which was expected and then I was “ mistakenly” charged by the hotel. I have called 5 times and was told 3 different stories. First I was told I would be reimbursed in 3 business days, then 3-10 and then I was told it would be 10 minutes! Lastly, I was told the GM is busy and would call me back. Two more phone calls and 15 days later I still have not been reimbursed. It is only $130, but still what if this was their $.

    When checking in, my room did not have enough linens for my family, the bed had not been changed from the previous stay ( I asked for linens and changed my own bedding to verify it was clean), and the bathroom had not been cleaned. There were no towels at the pool, either. We had to visit the desk multiple times to get supplies. The only redeeming quality was the staff was apologetic and kind.

    Christine, rhe manager was fantastic. They compensated 1 night and gave us 7 breakfasts. They were so apologetic. We have stayed her before and will stay again. Steven in the Bistro said only positive comments about how Christine has changed the environment for the better.

    The person that checked me in was horribly rude. I was charged $75 I wasn’t expecting and when I asked about it she snapped at me and proceeded to get even more rude. The room is horribly dirty. Stains all over the floor. The windows haven’t haven cleaned. Dust and handprints all over them. The bathroom was dirty.

I thought it would have a free breakfast, but it actually had an option to dine in and pay for breakfast. For someone that has a large family, I enjoy the convenience of the free breakfast that other hotels provide.

    The hot tub was broken, the workout room air conditioning was not working, the 2nd floor ice machine was broken, our room was hot, there was a buzzing noise that kept us up throughout the night, and the trashcans outside were practically overflowing. I would not recommend this hotel and believe we deserve a refund.

    We needed bedding for the pull out couch. We were given one sheet, one thin blanket, and one pillow. The bed was so hard. I came here because we had no electricity at home. I didn't even get to sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable. There's no breakfast.

    It was not a pleasant stay due to broken A/C and hotel was unable to accommodate with another similar room. If we switched to another room our kids would have to sleep on the floor. It was late when we checked in and that was the only one available to accommodate us so we had to stay with the room and the temperature was 82 degree the entire night. The room was humid and stuffy. We endured the night so I can gain energy for the drive the next day.

    Property grounds were in some disrepair, e.g., missing downspouts so rain poured down from the 3 story roof onto landscape beds that consisted of mud and no grass or plants. There was a $12 per day parking fee in an untended outdoor lot which we didn’t know about beforehand.

    Rooms were okay- there was a lot of “extra” charges that were not noted when we booked this property. They charged for parking per car, we were aware that the breakfast had a charge, but drinks were an extra additional charge (a black small coffee was an 4$ on top of the 12$ for basic continental breakfast set up- nothing special whatsoever). They even charged for the soap and shampoo. I wouldn’t have booked that had I known in advance.

    Room was not ready way after checkin slot, also the next day we went for breakfast and upon return room door wouldn’t open, we had to wait for a maintenance personnel to fully open & remove lock.     Not clean. Toilet was dirty inside and out. There was urine on the floor. We checked in late and since we have young children we decided to clean the bathroom ourselves and not have the hassle of changing rooms. When I wiped down the floor it didn’t appear to have been cleaned for a very long time. The tile is dark and on a white towel it left black dirt and grime. We had to ask for sheets for the pull out couch and had to go to the desk to get swim towels. They were given without a problem it was just a hassle to keep going back to the front desk. $12 for parking is ridiculous and not posted anywhere on hotels.com.

    Shower was tiny. I have seen larger showers in an RV. Room coffee was not sufficently supplied and there was no curtesy coffee in the lobby. Had to pay $4 for a morning coffee. Will never stay here again.

    Courtyard is on my DO NOT STAY list. For extra fees. Charged for overnight parking for absolutely no reason. Paid for breakfast for 2 but didn’t cover full cost of breakfast. Small resort fee? All the fees added a bunch to the total cost.

    Every one of the staff was amazing from checking in, talking with the cleaning ladies and checking out. It’s a nice quiet hotel. Have more trips planned to Amarillo will definitely be staying here for those times, as well. Oh and it’s a great price!!
