Was not told there was a breakfast. The location was fine The ac didn't work the first day but staff brought fans. Took them to the wrong room until I finally called again 2 hours later. Then we got them. Was fixed the second day. The WiFi didn't work so they had us call tech support but that didn't help. We even paid for the better internet which never worked. The Hotspot on our phones was better. Not the best experience by far.

Everything was excellent, great view, lovely staff, great nearby restaurant. The no daily cleaning was a little confusing, I suppose they don’t enter your unit if you’re not in the room.

Right in the heart of downtown Amarillo with lots of awesome dining, a cool old building with character, and clean facilities with excellent staff makes this place a 10/10 in my book. We stay here regularly and I recommend it to anyone passing thru

Parking was a little difficult when you do not follow directions. But we did get checked in and found a beautiful queen room with 2 beds as requested. Many restaurants across the street for what ever pallet desires.

Thay aren’t all the team but it is clear that the management in this establishment encourage teamwork and customer care to a high degree. Without doubt, the happiest, most co-ordinated, customer friendly group we’ve met on what is a long, multiple stop, hotel based trip. We’d come back just for the friendliness!

The rooms ac was messed up and never got above 78. Didn’t get much sleep because it was so hot. And the window had nothing but vents covering it

Guy at the front desk was very nice but he was all alone at the busiest check in time - he had a long line. It took a long time to get checked in. Don’t know why the hotel would pick peak check in time to only have one person on the desk. Nice hotel otherwise, very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

We ate dinner in the bistro & not was it good. Kelly made a great espresso martini, Cobb salad & BLT! Supper yummy! Great place to stay.

I loved everything about this property. Especially the distance to the restaurants and bars. Clean rooms and professional staff. The view from my room was amazing! No comment.

Stayed here many times as it is half way between my house in Dallas and house in Colorado. Always a good stay and several good places to eat that are walkable (less than 2 blocks).

The hotel itself was very nice, very clean. Staff was friendly and the rooms were in great shape. My only complaint is the parking, parking was an extremely small and cramped parking garage that you had to pay to use. Then once inside there is only one access to the hotel from the parking, which is at the very bottom, but there are no signs indicating that so if you find a good parking place on the top, you then have to take all of your luggage and everything down all the flights of stairs until you find the access to the hotel.

We had a fabulous time at this hotel. The staff was unbelievable! The Starbucks in the hotel was kind of weak. But it didn't diminish our fun time.

I had car problems as soon as I got into town. With it being Father’s Day weekend, no one was really available to pick up my vehicle until Monday after I needed to be back. The front desk staff were amazing and helped me out every step of the way

We stayed here as a couples getaway. It was very nice!! The room was very clean and the morning and evening views out the window was amazing. The guest services were helpful and polite. We will stay here again.

Hotel was okay. It was clean. Parking was inconvenient the parking garage was tight. Not very friendly. No restaurants nearby at 11 pm.

The customer service was poor in the room did not have air conditioning. And then was charged $30 for parking and I don’t even drive a vehicle.

The beds in our rooms were on the floor we had to call about one bed only for the other bed to fall. We didn’t have any hot water Saturday morning nor did we have any knowledge of this til we called front desk. Kids playing hockey in the hallway and a very rude person next door cussing at us.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. It was a surprise for my husbands birthday and it could not have went worse. No bar, restaurant, shuttle, and very dirty. Do better Marriott if your charging 250 per night!

They accidentally double booked my room but gave me a handicapped room which was fine. But the mattress was beyond wore out.

The phones did not have the cable to connect to the outlets. The water for the shower took 15 minutes to heat up. Hotel.com would not reimburse me the one key credit I used the book this room. Never had this many issues with one hotel. I don’t know if Marriott vets their hotel partners very well.

The tub in 605 is dangerously slick. The "grip material" that was once painted on the tub floor for safety has long since been worn away. Suggest rubber bath mat and/or a warning poster.

The bathtub had hair all in it and the bath towels also had hair in them. The ceiling in the bathroom had a discolored film on it and had hair stuck to the ceiling. Very disappointed

We did not get breakfast with our room which would have been ok if the prices weren’t so high for breakfast at the Bristo. The room was ok but the AC didn’t work that great and the hot water was not that great either and for the price we paid all should be included. I don’t think we will stay there again. Was not kid friendly at all.

I had to check out 2 days early due to personal family issues. The front desk told me there were no issues and my credit card would be credited. That was not the case! On my return home, i contacted this property and was told refunds are not provided on prepaid bookings. I left a message on the voice mail of the manager and never received a return call! I would NEVER recommend booking at Courtyard by the Marriott in Amarillo EVER. So very disappointed with this trip and will never use Expedia again for my travel plans..

Given a handicap room bed was awful, seemed old overused mattress would have hurt my back pullout bed was broken. Did not feel up to Marriott standards. The location was nothing else around seemed like dead area.

I’ve always liked this hotel, but the last 2 stays over a period of time the a/c in the hotel rooms were not blowing cold air. It’s too hot to sleep. So, if a/c in a hotel room on an almost 100° day is not your thing, then this is the place for you. It’s truly sad because the front desk people are nice, the food bistro is nice. Our room was spacious and clean. And, the bed is super comfortable. No apologies have been made for lack of a/c.

The Courtyard Marriott is right downtown Amarillo, Texas. Downtown is in earliest stages of renovation. A wonderful Mexican restaurant is right across the street. A parking garage adjoins the hotel for convenient parking with in/out privilege for a fee. I requested a high room on the corner and was rewarded with a beautiful view and a room full of light. I travel with a bicycle and was able to have it in my room when not riding. The weather was perfect, and the flat terrain is excellent for riding a bicycle.

I think the gentleman who checked us in was named David. He was fantastic - a great emissary for Marriott.

Had a great stay. Room had everything we needed. Location was close to lots of food and entertainment.

The property is nice and clean, if somewhat dated. The staff was very nice. On arrival, it was difficult to figure out where the property entrance is. There was construction on the street with cones everywhere, and we circled the block several times trying to figure out where one enters for check-in. Parking was difficult because the garage is cramped. Entry and exit very difficult and confusing. Hopefully this is a temporary situation. That said, we chose a different hotel for our overnight on the return trip.

The elevators required you to have your room key which confused us at first, but we got the hang of it. The parking isn’t the easiest to unload your things. We did so while checking in because you’re closest to the lobby if you park in the check in spots. Once we parked in the normal lot we were too lazy to get anything if we forgot it in our car. The bistro seemed understaffed on the midweek day that we were there. It took a while to get the food that we ordered and it didn’t look impressive but it did taste great thankfully. The room sizes were really nice and spacious. And the building had a lot of character like the large windows to look out at the city. We only stayed here one night but we would definitely stay here again in the future
