Unkempt lobby with old tattered furniture; moldy smell & dirty throughout hotel; dirty carpets; wife could not sleep comfortably due to the place being so bad; breakfast was okay with the exception of a half working toaster; it was not worth the money spent…sorry

The carpet was dirty and well worn in our room. The hall was in need of a vacuum. The entry mats were very dirty and worn. The staff were great, very friendly. I think a lot of construction crews used this as a temporary residence?

Do not go here the lady that checked us in kept spitting in the trash can.our room was very musty the toilet had a slow drip and was told we could deal with it the hot tub was broken and green and moldy and the pool was a nasty yellowish green me and my wife and kids checked out early and didn't even attempt breakfast will never stay at another comfort inn

At check out no one was standing at the desk they were in back talking and there was no bell to ring to get their attention. However, we chose this one based simply because it had a hot tub, only to find out that the spa was not working. No apology, nothing. There were also signs of homeless people in the back area of the parking lot, making us a little concerned for our moving truck and car in a trailer.

Hotel is right by the I-40 so it's very convenient; also clean and breakfast was tasty.

Nice and clean In one corner there was a pile of rubble that looks like it was dumped there but over all it was nice. I rented a room with a spa or hot tub and it did not so I lost some money there and the TV cable didn’t work so we were out from watching TV for a day.

This facility is in excellent shape. We liked our room and the breakfast a lot. The location is close to the country and to a lot of dining options.

The night staff was unprofessional. Distracted and failed to program my keys, which resulted in a 2nd trip down and when I asked how to use it, I was ignored. A very small evaluator only fits 2 with min luggage. The room was very old with dated interior. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was made for little people. Toilet was almost on floor and very difficult to get up from, side of bathtub came to my lower mid calf. Drain was slow. Breakfast area was dated with furniture that was old with chairs that were worn. The food was cold, they were out of eggs and potatoes, the biscuits were still thawing out. It was very unappealing. They were out of coffee. It was not being maintained by staff. Left with feeling I would pass next time. I usually chose comfort inns because of their reputation and my experience with them. But this one is in desperate need of a complete update to make it more competitive to the hotels around it.

Shower head didn't work.

I stayed in a two-bedroom and was really happy with how clean it was.. No weird smells or anything like that. The property is definitely on the older side, but it’s clear they take care of it and keep things up. It’s not super modern, but it was still a good, comfortable stay and I enjoyed it overall. The only downside for me was the thin walls :/ I could hear my neighbor pretty much all night.

Our problem was with one front desk person. I'm older and she spoke softly. I asked her to speak up...3 times. At the end she gave me elevator instruction in a booming voice. ( Showing off,) Later I mentioned our shower didn't work. She pointed to a small sign that showed how to properly work the shower head. I said the would have come in handy had it been in the room rather than on your desk. My 73 year old husband had to get down on his hands and knees in order to wash his hair. She responded, "Aw....!" But no apologies or explanation at all. Also the ac in our room worked poorly but I didn't even bother to complain...we stayed 2 nights but probably wouldn't stay here again. See above...

The breakfast was fine, I enjoyed the variety of options. The parking was easy. I did get a refund for staying in the dirty, used room, so I appreciate this. I showed up around 10:30pm after a long day of driving on Route 66. I ended up getting to the room and it was dirty and used. The sheets were open and there was a dirty bandaid in the garbage can. Apparently, someone went into the room, complained because the carpet was wet and ask for a new room. The front desk never checked to see if the room was used and sent me up there instead. There were no other available rooms, so I ended up sleeping in the used bed.

It was cold outside and they would not even allow my dog inside. Even if I kept it in the crate. Dog had to sleep out in car in 35 degrees. I happened to have blankets, but in my opinion, thumbs down. Also breakfast was the same both days.

The building need a lot of work, the showers needed to be replaced and the carpet smells bad mainly the hallways, elevator was wet my whole stayed, the isolation needs a lot of improvement, you can hear everybody walking, and using the shower it is so noisy.

Neither issue was a major problem, just something to be aware of. Overall, it was a good experience and a comfortable stay, and we would certainly consider this hotel again when passing through the area.

We would set the temp at 68, and the heater continued to heat the room. We had to turn the heater off. Unfortunately since it was snowing the temp dropped rapidly. For three days the room was like an oven. I did notify front desk, but nothing was done

The hot tub in the pool didnt work and the keycards had to be reprogramed 3 or 4 times in 2 days. However, the price was under $80 a night so maybe i got what I paided for. If you need a cheap place to just sleep, this hotel would be a great value, but if you're looking for a place to relax and escape a little stress comfortably, id keep looking. Just my opinion.

We’ve stayed at this property on several occasions. This time, while clean, the property is showing some wear. Still a decent place to stay for the money.

Phone only works on speaker mode. Neighbors were blasting TV all night, which I reported to front desk at midnight but they never got them to turn it down. Breakfast area is too small for capacity of the hotel. Elevator was janky and felt like a carnival ride the way it bounced and tilted.

The room was clean. Didn't find hair anywhere and the carpet actually felt clean. Smelled clean. Cookies by checkout were a nice touch. PB cookie was delish. Breakfast was ok. Country potatoes, powdered eggs, strawberry waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, sausage links, gravy, biscuits, picante was available. The juices were the best part though. Very flavorful ands not watered down. Quiet sleep, AC was nice and the window actually opened for fresh air. No complaints would stay here again if we come back for Bucees in the future! Our room had a jetted bathtub. Pretty cool feature.

Decent hotel for the price. Exterior areas could stand trash pickup and carpets shampooed.

Staff was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. However the bathroom is a very tight little space with short toilets. If you have any type of back or knee procedure I would suggest a different hotel.

the only issue i had was with the door keys not functioning. I had to have them reprogramed repeatedly.

Very clean

Very limited parking on just 1 side of property. The front desk lady said maybe 3 words to me at checkin. I could tell she had some seripus attitude and did not wven attempt conversation. The single elevator makes more noises than my 1st car and is a ride of its own. Broken lamp in room and 2 burnt out bulbs. Shower water pressure was a trickle at best. For $60 a night it is a place to lay your head, but not much more. I will not stay at this Comfort Suites again.

I would definitely recommend. Friendly staff. Everything was clean. Our room was ready upon arrival it made check in quick and easy. Breakfast food was amazing!

The hotel was very dated. Lobby furniture, breakfast area furniture. Hotel hardwares were rusted, bathroom tub looked dirty but I'm sure that is because its dated. Our room smelled like smoke. The suites couch had burns. The beds were uncomfortable, just sitting on the bed you could feel the springs. Maintenance offered to spray the room but this of course didnt resolve the smell just masked it for a moment

Tried to cancel. Had booked the date in error months ago. No response. They simply took my money. Rigid cancellation policy even though it was MONTHS in advance.

Room was clean, but shower head was placed in an awkward position. AC unit made a lot of noise. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

ACCOMDATIONS AND PERSONEL

The building is old and tired. The room a/c would only work at the temp that it wanted regardless of what button I pushed. The hallway was much more comfortable by comparison. The bed was good though- at least there was a places to sweat the night away. The couch beds had dirty sheets as well. So these are the reasons for the low rating.

However, there are 2 Comfort Inns in that area. I went to the wrong one. They can’t, won’t transfer the booking. Which is ok. I liked this one!

One persone working check in. Very nice and helpful. The room was stuffy with odd smell. Hard beds with pillows slightly bigger than aorplane pillows. Lightbulbs missing. Desk phone to reach front desk did not work. Furniture old and dingy, small sofa very dirty. Morning frint desk clerk hiding behind her cell pho e and no acknowledging anyone. Rude.

Pool was green and cloudy. Air conditioner rattled keeping kids awake. Had to sleep with it off. Shower head was way too low for average height man

The pool area was so hot we could hardly stay to watch the kids. Otherwise all was great!

After being on the road traveling for 12 hrs., this room was a welcomed break. It was so clean, and the bed was so comfortable. It was quiet and was able to get a full night's rest.

Breakfast attendant could do a better job keeping hot items stocked. Several guests left upset because there was no hot food available.

Just ok room nothing great. Requested crib when reserved online. Called day of check in to be sure we would have one which was confirmed. At check-in was told it was in our room which it was not. They did bring a pack play to room but sheet was not included. Requested sheet which they brought a standard size full size sheet. Staff was very polite. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Absolutely terrible. The air conditioning systems were not working properly and we had to clean the filters ourselves. We were made to switch rooms in the middle of the night on the first night because the drain plug for the jacuzzi tub didn’t work. The shower in the second room was incredibly slow to drain. Both rooms smelled of mist and mildew upon entry. The staff was borderline rude. The woman working overnight on the night of the 4th was rude.

Room smelled musty and the carpet is filthy. I thought bed was ok husband said he didn't sleep at all. The hotel has not been kept up. Entrance is dirty, it's just dirty and needs attention.

The staff was great and the whole property was very clean. The room was comfortable and not much noise to be heard from the hall or neighbors. I slept tremendously well and missed breakfast! Super convenient location on my I-40 travels.

Secured a room for a friend who was in a bad situation and when she arrived at the hotel, the refused to let her check in because she lives in the same city as the hotel. I’m out $185 and she was turned away…outrage probably isn’t a big enough word!

Hotel was easy to get to and comfortable for the evening. A good stopping point for my trip to Austin.

Everything was good but wish they would change the breakfast everyday was the same ..the pool was clean and love that it was open all day till 10pm so the kids wanted to go during the day and at nite, theres enought parking and everything we wanted to go see was just 10 or 13 mint away . Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel. I was especially impressed with how clean and new everything appeared. The carpet was clean, walls were clean and the bed was luxurious.

Big variety of restaurants and shopping within a 5’ drive. Clean rooms and property. Card access at side entrance not working properly day/night of our stay. Standard, but complete breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value. Famly in area, we’ll be back.
