    Room was ok until my wife discovered a few bugs in the room. Smoking on the property and they overbooked the room we initially booked which looked more nicer in pics so they gave us two basic rooms which wasnt the best.

We notified the hotel and was told management would be notified in the morning. It was not addressed during our stay.

    No, the room was not in good codition. The first room the toilet wasn't working. We had to get a new room. The 2nd room the toilet was working but the floors were dirty. It needs some updating. The bathroom on the first floor had a horrible bad odor as ypu walk by to getbto the elevator. Its pretty old snd outdated. The staff was really attentive and courteous. The location amazing.

The staff mentioned it was a system issue, but there was no clear timeline or proactive resolution during the wait. That said, once we were checked in, everything else was fine. The room was clean, the stay was comfortable, and there were no other major issues during our visit. Overall, the stay itself was okay, but the long and poorly handled check-in experience definitely impacted our first day and overall impression. I hope the hotel improves its process and communication during system outages to avoid this for future guests.

    Very close to and easy to drive to Ameris Ampitheater. Only COMPLAINT I have is our two bedroom unit had 3 tv sets but only one was fully functioning. Of the others, one had NO volume at all and the other was missing the remote control so could not use either one. By the time our event was over it was too late to bother the staff about it.

    Me with my family had horrible experience with stay. There are cockroaches everywhere, in bathroom, kitchen, kitchen utensils provided by hotel etc. My daughter and other family members so panic with these roaches everywhere. We could not eat food and sleep & stay peacefully. The stove top is broken, one out of 2 does not work. The exhaust over stove does not work at all and no switches are available. The water is leaking from refrigerator, and coming out into kitchen floor. This is so inconvenient and hazard of we slipping on wet floor. We have to put tissues, clothes on the floor, so degusting. We traveled so far and stayed here on a time tight schedule for a very important purpose. These issues kept us very uncomfortable of our stay. Contacted front desk, they gave Managers email. I have attached all the photos & videos of these issues and sent detailed email. But there is no response as of today, it was 2 days. We booked this hotel by looking at good reviews online and spent extra money to have pleasant stay. But we really did not see worth of money what we spent for this stay.

    We were greeted by Gwen’s beautiful smile when we arrived, she was very warm and accommodating and treated us like old friends even though we had never met her before. That evening as we were headed to a concert she saw us leaving and came out to ask us if everything was good in our room, and asked if we were happy with the room. The next morning we went to breakfast at the property which was nicely done. On our way out of the breakfast Gwen stepped into the hall to ask if we enjoyed the concert, the breakfast and again asked if everything was good with our room. Gwen was there at checkout too, she told us it was a pleasure having us stay at the property, she told us she hoped we would have a safe trip home, and she told us they would love to have us return to stay there next time we came to Atlanta. She was amazing! It was the best treatment I have ever gotten at a hotel (I have stayed in a lot of hotels). Thank you Gwen for a wonderful stay!

    We were in town for a concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre and had a great one night stay at TownePlace. Chose the property for it’s location and the just under 30 minute walk from the venue to the hotel was relaxing following a great show. Room was very clean and well-laid out, kitchen was small but very functional, best use of a small space I have ever seen in a hotel room. Bed was adequate (though I am getting older and don’t respond as well to is anything that is not my own bed). Shower head was high and curved shower curtain so those of us larger folks can be comfortable. Breakfast was very good, eggs (scrambled and boiled), meat (sausage and bacon), fruit, waffles, high protein Greek yogurt, fruit, grains (bread, English muffin, muffins and bagels), different juices and milks and good coffee. I especially appreciate the hazelnut creamer. Staff were very nice, gave local directions and a 10% off coupon at Village Tavern. Pool looked decent. Grounds were well-kept. My 4/5 rating for cleanliness is not 5/5 due to the fact that the hallways and elevator could have been cleaner. If I return to Alpharetta, this will be the only place I will stay.

    The cost per night was reasonable. However, I think I would rather pay more for a clean, safe place to stay in the future. I really liked the location and being so close to an extremely nice walking trail. Breakfast was absolutely awful! Scrambled eggs had no flavor and were cold. Coffee was mediocre. Sausage patties were hard as a rock, overcooked, and cold. My room was never cleaned on my last day of stay. I was given only one wash cloth on the second day of stay. When, I came back to my room on the third day, I found where a glass picture frame hanging over the couch had fallen and the glass was shattered. I picked up the glass, and placed on kitchen counter. The next morning I told a staff member about this. He told me that they would clean up the broken glass and replace the picture. However, they did not. All they did was remove the picture frame. Broken glass was still lying on kitchen counter the day I checked out. Upon arriving, I noticed that flooring around the bath tub was rotten. And I think that the flooring underneath bath tub is rotten as well. Lighting in bathroom was atrocious. And the air conditioner needs to be replaced. Very loud and did not cool very well.

    Nothing. Upon arrival the door was open, not locked. We walked in and there was a huge air purifier in the room, the room smelled awful, the room felt very damp and moist our entire stay. The windows were propped open with the salt and pepper shakers. The bed was not comfortable at all. This room was not worth the over $100 I paid for the single night. Very disappointing.

    I liked the kitchenette and full-size appliances. Good location close to Northpoint Mall, Avalon, restaurants and shopping. This location was disappointing compared to other Marriott and TownePlace Suites I stayed at in the past. The hotel looks very old and dated inside and out. There is a strong constant odor in the hallways and my room. The carpets are old, dirty and worn, and need to be replaced. The TV in the room was very small and old, from the year 2011. The tv was in an odd location in the room. Breakfast needs to be greatly improved. One morning there were barely any eggs and they were old and hard. Another time they ran out of sausages, eggs, and cream cheese for bagels, and was not replenished. The bed made noise and was very lumpy and close to the floor, and very uncomfortable. The walls are super thin, I heard other guests talking, and another guest snoring every night which kept waking me up! I would not stay at this location again.

    The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and provided a comfortable stay. The only negative was that the TV was older and the screen had some burned in image issues but that didn't deter from a great stay.

Really friendly and helpful front desk staff. Free breakfast was nice. Not sure if the hotel is pet friendly (assuming so) but there was a dog in the room next door one night that barked occassionally. Fortunately, it did not bark continuosly. Easy to get to and near some restaurants, gas station.

    Very satisfied with our stay. Very pleased with the level of comfort and cleanliness of the room, and the whole hotel overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and well maintained. We stayed for only one night but the suite was very accommodating for long term stays, as well. Nice kitchenette area that even had a small stove and oven and everything you would need if you wanted to cook meals. The bed was really comfortable too. Absolutely loved that check out was at 12pm as well! Our AC was broken and wouldnt turn off but we didnt bother the staff with it since we were only staying one night. They had extra blankets so it wasnt too bad. other than that, everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

We got switched over to another room to the 3rd floor in another building even after i told the attendant in the front desk i was traveli g w my father that has trouble walking. The second room was a hot mess! I had to clean everything when i got there which was at around 1am. The halls are dirty, the rooms are dirty, low maintenance. This building and room needs a complete remodel! I would never stay here again!

    The hotel itself is great for families with 2 bedroom suite and kitchenette. Our room was not well stocked (missing coffee, paper coffee cups, dishwasher soap, etc.). only 1 fork, very few dishes. Hotel staff was pleasant. Very limited breakfast and breakfast was not well stocked. there was also a used grungy looking dish sponge and food items that were left by previous occupants. Otherwise beds were comfortable and room appeared clean.

    Room was dirty. Still had spills on the counter and bathroom from previous stay. Front desk assured me that room had been cleaned. If I could have left immediately and stayed elsewhere would have certainly done it. Spent over 20 minutes checking in because front desk unable to work the key encoder. Went to the room and immediately booked a stay at a better hotel. Would recommend management perform a top down review of this entire property.

    After arriving to check in I had to wait almost an hour because the manager left the property. The trainee did not know how to do checkins. When I tried to checkin the card reader was down so I had to pay cash for 5 nights and I couldn’t get an receipt. But I was told that I would get a receipt after I checked out. The room was nice until the last night and I saw roaches. Absolutely not happy about that. When I tried to check out the system was apparently down again and I was told that a receipt would be emailed to me but I still have not received it. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this hotel.

    Our actual stay was decent, especially for the price. There were a few little details, like a plate with a piece of leftover pizza being left in the pool area for over 2 days, that made us wonder how closely the staff was paying attention to cleaning, but overall we found the hotel comfortable and convenient. We would consider staying there in the future, except for what happened afterwards: we had made our reservation through Expedia, who charged our credit card at the time we made the reservation, and when we checked out of the hotel we received a bill listing balance due as $0. However, three weeks later, while reviewing my credit card statement,I discovered that the hotel had charged our card an additional $300 the day AFTER we checked out. We’ve never received an additional invoice. When I called the hotel to inquire, the person I spoke with told me they would have to research the charge and call me back. That was 10 days ago. Five days ago I contacted Marriott’s customer care department and was assigned a case #, but have not heard a word since. All I want is either a reasonable explanation of the additional charges, or a reversal, but apparently since they already have my money they are not in a big hurry to respond. So all I can do is guarantee that neither TownePlace Suites or Marriott will get anymore of my money, by staying elsewhere on future trips.

    The room was a great size, very clean. The towels were huge, soft and powerful. The shower head was amazing! Beds and pillows are extremely comfy. The staff was helpful, professional and fun to joke with. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Georgia.

    The room was clean, spacious, kitchen well equipped with the amount of days stayed. The pool could have been cleaner. The breakfast was shy of what was promoted. Under current worldwide pandemic conditions understandable. Overall I would stay here again.
