    The staff are polite, friendly and attentive and I enjoyed staying in one of their studio suites although, despite the room having a good sized refrigerator and microwave, doesn't come with plates or cutlery which, for the standard and function of room, was a bit weird. The room was very clean and very beautiful, ideal for lazy lie-ins, which I enjoyed. The medium sized, double-split fitness center was surprisingly well equipped, with treadmills, a full range free weight section, a couple of exercise balls (albeit in need of inflating), a BOSU ball and even some kettlebells. I was impressed. A relatively small pool can be spotted outside the fitness center windows. I didn't try the breakfast, as I was prioritizing my lie-ins, although the person who checked me in was very complimentary of it. The parking area is right outside the hotel, but the layout doesn't make it easy to get heavy luggage to the hotel entrance. Nice stay though.

    Clean. Entrance and exit from property is quite tricky, first of all there should be a sign from Richmond Hgwy for the hotel entrance, if you miss this you will need to go into Alexandria and make a u-turn or take a 3 mile turn around at National Harbor.!

    I had an issue with my stay due to Expedia booking the wrong type of room for me at this hotel. I requested a suite with 2 queen beds and received a suite with a king sized bed. Not enough room for me and my family. Next time I will book directly with the hotel. The hotel itself is ok. Our room faced the highway and there was a lot of noise unfortunately.

    I did not like that they ruined my Mother's Day. My whole family that lived in the area gathered for a church service, and had my 98-year-old grandmother. The hotel called me and said that I had not checked out. I told them that I was scheduled to check out on Monday, the next day, and they said no on Sunday and that I had to come back and check out. I had to leave my family celebration and missed my grandmother being honored. On my phone, it said I was confirmed until the next day. I had to show them that I was heartbroken and that I missed something that I cherished, and I am going to get in touch with the corporate office of Hilton Hotels. This was not good, and they also had people enter my room when I told them no one was to enter. This was such a disappointment. The only thing they could say was I am sorry for that unacceptable. Plus, I am a silver member of Hilton. Plus, the breakfast was horrible and having the staff stand over you and see how much food you take was not good. I had two rooms, so I took food back to my elderly family who could not walk. I would have had a good experience if it were not for these mishaps,

    The persons in the reception are so adorable nice and kind. It was pleasant interacting with them. However in the last day a group of students ruined my night by making huge amount of noise.     This property is long in the tooth and in need of refurbish. It was clean as anyone could get it but stained carpeting, janky ac unit with metal hanging off it. Front desk staff was excellent and check in was smooth, Also of note if you have a car, you’re forced to download an app on your phone to pay. Not at all convenient and I’m unsure that I was aware at reservation that I would need to pay for parking. Breakfast was good and staff were once again courteous and professional. Wouldn’t boom here again;

    There was a bug in my room, the place has an old musty smell, I was orginally on the 4th floor and the ice machine was out of order and they had two big blue floor "fans" on the floor right by my room. And to top it off we had to pay for parking. They did move me to another room and comped one night of parking, but overall, I don't think i will book another stay here.

    Asked for an early check. In. Said we would be there between 1 to 2. Arrived at 115. Was told by front desk it would cost 50 dollars to check in early. We never came across that w any Hampton inn. Then asked if we could use the workout room and was told that we needed a key. Went to lunch came back checked in. I recieved an e mail asking how my stay was going so far and explained what had happened. Element of said anything but he asked. Followed up by a response from a different person explains that I were sold out the night before and there were no rooms available. So two different answers. I responded we could have checked in if we paid the 50 dollars. Didn’t want to get into a pissy match. Went to national harbor for early dinner and bought sole products from mini mart. Shameka at the front desk asked us what happened when we gave r room number. She was grea. Explained new staff and management that the girl at the front desk was probably confused. Shameka and Mimi the young lady at the front desk when we checked out were excellent. We have stayed there four times since October. We will be back Possibly if just let us use the facility’s instead of sending us on our way for an hour and a half. We just drove 7 plus hours. Didn’t see what front desk just could let us in the fitness center things happen r stay was

    The hotel itself was good — clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues with the room or amenities. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Parking is not free; and... More concerning was the parking lot security. I had read previous guest reviews mentioning cars being left on blocks after their wheels were stolen. On our second night, it actually happened right next to our car — burglars removed all four wheels from the vehicle parked beside ours. We were relieved it wasn’t ours, but it was still a stressful and disappointing experience. I felt sorry for the owners of that car.

    We never actually stayed at this hotel because upon arrival at 5:15pm local time, we were informed by the hotel desk that our reservation was canceled by them due to over booking. They wanted me to check my emails. I found where the payment had been made earlier that morning and then found the cancelation email was received at 2:28pm local time. Checkin time was 3pm. I was in disbelief and thought it was only for that type room. I asked for any other room and was informed that none were available. I received nothing other than a "We are sorry, you need to check with Expedia". The hotel staff offered no help what so ever as far as booking another room. Being late in the day and time being of the essence, I took matters in to my own hands and found another room at another hotel.

    The closeness to the Gaylord in the national harbor and the clean and fresh it smelled. Had an accessible room but no bar near the toilet to help me stand up once I sat down. Elevator to the left jerks you And you pay for parking and I couldn't get a handicapped parking space.

    Great stay overall! The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, which made a big difference. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the breakfast was solid with plenty of options to start the day. The location is also super convenient for getting around Alexandria. My only minor complaint is that the elevator near the breakfast area can be a bit slow during busy times—but not a dealbreaker. I’d definitely stay here again!

    We traveled from Cleveland to Florida and back, and this was the best property of the trip. The staff was wonderful, the room was so comfortable and quiet, even the other guests were great! My husband left his shaving kit outside next to the car, and another guest turned it in to the desk. It had his meds, so we were extremely grateful! Highly recommend this property!

    The room was comfortable and clean. My concern was that two of the three elevators were down during my stay which meant the entire hotel only had one working elevator. This of course made the timing quite slow. The elevators were working just before we left. The last issue was I did not like that you had to pay for parking. There was nothing special about parking that should have warranted a cost.

    Property is fine, good location. Needs a facelift though. Easy checkin and out. Clean room. Good working elevators. Breakfast is crowded but good variety of items offered. My only major complaint is the ridiculous parking fee process. First of all, why am I expected to pay $10 a day for parking. That said, OK I’ll pay it but why can’t you add it to my hotel bill? Why do I have to log into some third party website to buy a parking pass?!?! That really irked me and it knocked this hotel down two stars. Get rid of that stupid process.

    This hotel is right off the highway but only about 5 minutes from Old Town Alexandria. It’s a bit tricky to get in and out of the hotel as Siri navigates probably because there are so many roads at this intersection. It’s about 5-10 minutes to get over the Potomac into DC. This was reasonably priced and nice and clean. Their snack section is absurdly overpriced. A 12oz chocolate milk was $5. 16oz sodas were $5. Just take your own snacks.

    I thought I was booking in Old Town Alexandria, but it was outside of the town. Traffic was a little difficult getting out of the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel was nice. Parking was easy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

    Very clean hotel. The rooms and beds were great as well. Nice breakfast area with plenty of room. We went down and played cards each night as a family and enjoyed the 5pm cookies as well. Ethan was phenomenal with guest service. The only down side was that you have to pay for parking.. yes it’s only $10, but you’re not in the heart of it all so let your guests park free.

    The first room my husband stayed in had bugs the floor and tub were dirty The next one was better but still for the prices I paid i expect not to run out of tissue and have more towels then the room smelled i came for my Uncles funeral I will not recommend the hotel at this point to any of my 500 staff or my Church I am the pastor of a large group thank you for hearing me out yours truly Rev Dr. Mary H Singleton

    The property itself was nice and comfortable. The staff was helpful. The area it was in wasn't the best. Thankfully a staff member recommended a restaurant in old Alexandria at the waterfront and we found great dining and shops. I would stay at this hotel again. Its location is great for those visiting DC or old Alexandria.

    The woman who checked us in was less than friendly, not sure what her issue was, but she just passed off a "you're bothering me with your check-in" vibe. What shocked me most about this place was they charged $20 for overnight parking. I actually got a 50% discount because I'm a Hilton Honors member, but paid parking just pissed me off.

    Close to National Harbor and MGM; however, there were ants in the room and we had to change rooms. Parking fees are paid via an app with a $7 surcharge per transaction. Also lots of traffic noise. I'm a Hilton Honor and HGV member. I expected better and want compensation for my stay.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself and my room was super clean. Loved the Pet area in the lobby even though I didn’t have my pets with me. Great Breakfast for a hotel. Very close to casino with an uber ride. The only down fall is there are no restaurants walking distance.

    The only reason we did not give this hotel an Excellent rating was because they charged for parking when it appeared to us that there was ample parking for the hotel; given no other businesses sharing the parking lot. We felt that the charge for parking was inexplicable and exorbitant.

    Our shower did not work, as the valve switch to activate the shower was frozen stuck and I had an important event in just a couple hours. Fortunately the shower fixture dribbled out barely enough water to get the job done although it took much longer.

    They charge for parking but it’s completely unreasonable. It’s a clear money grab because there are multiple lots with no space issue. Just add an additional $10 to the cost of the room, if they are that desperate. Or disclose the parking fee to people before they book. It’s a clear nickel and dime operation. You can find better options for the same price nearby.

    The staff were nice, hotel was clean but had some issues with the drain not wanting to work in the sink and bathroom. Area was just really inconvenient, it’s right off a ramp and hard to access unless you’re coming from the south. Other than that had a great stay!

    Nice property! Very nice staff, comfortable room, and awesome breakfast. Got in late n was able to purchase a frozen pizza in the ‘minimart’ in the lobby. Nice options, and a microwave. Even had a beer! Perfect so I didn’t have to venture out late at night. Definitely would stay again :)

    I didn't like that they didn't have a storage area for out bicycles. I also didn't like that you had to not only pay for parking but the parking was outsourced to a different company. It was also inconvenient that you needed to get another key to access both the swimming pool and the workout facilities.

    The property smells and an attempt to cover up with poor smelling air freshener that will give you a headache. My room had pee and mold in bathroom. The shared spaces do not have air conditioner. The hallways were too warm. I filed multiple complaints and manager refused to talk to me.
