    Breakfast was awesome. Eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, juice, oatmeal with a large selection of add-ins, waffles, cereal, milk products. The only problem we had was no luggage racks at the hotel. We are old and not very steady on our feet. Having to lift suitcases up onto bed each day was very difficult for us. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.

    I will never stay at this Marriott property again. I was very disappointed. It had an under tone of not being clean the comforter on my bed, which was white really wasn’t white so I probably will never stay at this Marriott location again and I always stay at Marriott’s.

    The staffs are very nice. There is no available coffee and water 24 hours. The rest room has enough space but exhaust fan is not working. What we book suppose to be two queen bed and a sofa bed but they gave us one king bed and a sofa bed.

    The service is outstanding. The reception staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful, We were allowed a late check-out at 1 p.m. because I am a member of Marriot Bonboy, that was awesome! Without hesitation we highly recommend this beautiful and affordable hotel when you visit Alexandria or the DC area. The location is perfect, which makes travelling around the city very convenient. It’s about 20 minutes from DCA Airport and less than 11 minutes from the National Harbor. You are also 10 minutes to George Washington’s Mt. Vernon. Can’t wait to come back!

    The stuff was really nice. We was getting snow real bad from where we are living. And we had to leave early. We had one more night and the stuff was so nice to cancel one night we still had.     The mattresses on our beds were a little too firm for our liking. The exhaust fan didn’t work in the bathroom either. The free breakfast was basically a waffle maker , bagels or toast , cereal , milk , coffee and juice.

Also, no one could speak or understand English which made it difficult to get anything we needed. The remote control for the television barely worked even after exchanging it. The hot water was poor, it ran lukewarm during our entire stay. Overall this place wasn’t worth the price paid. So we decided to check into a different hotel for our needs. Oh and be prepared to pay a $10 parking fee when it clearly says parking is free. I do NOT recommend staying here.

    I actually was pretty disappointed with this stay. I read great reviews so I expected better. The walls are very thin so I heard coughs, conversations, TVs, and everything going on in the hallway. The tub was very creaky and made noises the entire time as you moved around while taking a shower. The fridge stay on for 2 hours and goes off for 8 hours, so items aren’t as cold as you’d wish them to be. What was most disappointing was the suite I reserved was unavailable so I had to opt for just the double queens. This gave me less beds for my family and I. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel ever again.

    Staff was friendly and the property was very clean. One thing to note is that Expedia should update their info about the property as they have started charging $10 per night for parking as of May 2025. Not a deal breaker but info should be updated as they list it as free self-parking.

    If the only bad thing I could say is access from US1 - the highway service road is difficult to find if you are not from the area. If you miss it, you need to do a U turn on the highway or go through the adjacent neighborhood. Kudos to Melanie at the front desk. She was super awesome in helping us with the metro rail station, sites to see and restaurants in the area.

If you miss it, you need to do a U turn on the highway or go through the adjacent neighborhood. Kudos to Melanie at the front desk.     The first room I was given has a VERY Mold smell. Once my friend arrived to room 228. He began to cough like Crazy so asked to switch to another which they put us on the 3rd floor later that night. Around 1am my friend begins to cough like Crazy again and then starts sneezing, throat itchy. We did not get any rest. I’m writing to you because I like to get refund or some type credit for a stay that was not restful. Please let me know what I need to do to be issued a refund or credit. Thank you

It was blowing colder than it was set and when I turned it to a warmer temp it kept blowing cold. Turned it off for an hour or so then turned it on and it worked fine. Probable needs service.

    The hotel itself was great, it was very clean, has a nice pool with jacuzzi. The breakfast was really great, the room was comfortable. That was a little on the hard side for me. The area is a little suspect, so decided to be cautious, I didn't know the area. But I definitely recommend the place. I got pretty good value from it overall.

    The main problem was that there was no blanket provided for sofa bed. I had to inform to front desk had to wait for 15 mins without blanket and then lady told me that someone will bring in my room. The person brought the blanket after 30 mins. It took 45 mins to get blanket at 11:30 PM in the night. Also, the sofa bed has very dirty mattress and the springs are like poking you in your whole body. I coudnt sleep at all.

It was a problem to us because we had milk and baby food overnight. The fridge is terrible. Doesn't keep food and milk fresh and cold. It was a weird set up. Lamp has a crack.     Hotel is close to busy road which makes it difficult to sleep if your room is facing the road. The room was spacious but the suite should have a door or some type of divider to separate the multiple televisions.

    First off on hotels.com it says parking was free. They tried to charge for parking before i mentioned that online it said it was free. They did honor the free parking then. Then no keys in the entire hotel worked. We had to have a worker let us into our room every time we left. They showed us a way we could keep our door open without it locking but I’m sorry I’m not going to do that. The tub in the room would not drain well and there was a ton of water over your ankles while showering. It’s not fun taking a shower like that. the pictures online look nice, but I would find another hotel to stay at as there are plenty in the area.

    The lobby area was clean and breakfast was decent. The breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, and oatmeal, fruit, bagels, and juice, water, and coffee. The beds were very uncomfortable. I thought we'd have a good refresh during our visit but that was not the case. I had to ask for toilet paper at front desk. It's a decent hotel for a day but not for several days.

    When i arrived the room i reserved wasnt available fine i wss offered to other rooms but only needed one so i went with the single king amd pull out but i was also told at my checkin that my rate would be discounted to accomodate me since what i reserved i didn't get checked out on sunday the young lady wasnt nice at all had no clue and asking me who i spoke to as if she didnt know who relieved her on friday after her day shift so there was no communication and neither did i receive a discount for the inconvenience

    I liked a lot about the hotel. The only drawback was the pool and hot tub were closed all 4 days, despite staff saying it would open "tomorrow" every day. That was a big reason I chose to stay there, so that was disappointing. But everything else was great!

    There is no description when you book telling you this will be basement level and the view is a wall. It was like a grave. I'm not sure about the quality of air in that level because I got crazy allergic reaction of sneezing, running nose red eyes which is went away when I went to target (nearby) to get antihistamine meds.

    Unfortunately this hotel allows room parties. Noise all night. Inappropriate behavior in the hot tub that thankfully didn't go far enough for the kids to notice. Other small issues remote did not work for the TV in front of the beds and an air conditioner that needs service. The woman who checked us in was wonderful though.

    All the staff was nice and professional. Grace in particular was super friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to be a popular choice, there were many families staying there. My only "complaints" are the pool heater was broken so the pool was freezing cold. We booked this hotel because of the pool so that was disappointing. Also the last day of our stay the guest in the room above us were very loud, jumping, banging, etc.

    Staff was definitely a 10/10 super helpful very nice and kind. My only issue was the pool temperature. It was super cold we was told multiple times that the pool guy would come and heat the pool and the whole 4 days we was there nobody came to fix the issue. Also I think the hot tub needs a DEEP cleaning . Other than those 2 things this place is a 10/10 and I will be booking with them next time I’m in the area. And when I tell you Richmond hwy is so nice they have stores all up in down that strip lol that’s what me and my aunt called it. So many restaurants and shopping in that area. And I mean it’s in walking distance.

    We would not stay at this hotel again. The bathroom toilet ran nonstop because the handle wasn’t working properly. Cleanliness was ok. We didn’t feel safe where the hotel was located and difficult to get to area where restaurants that we wanted to go to for dinner. McDonald’s that we went to by the hotel had homeless man inside the restaurant asking to buy him food multiple times inside the restaurant when we were ordering and standing very close to us when asking to buy him food. Felt very unsafe due to this.
