Lobby and elevator smelled like Marijuana and the room smelled like cigarettes . Said they couldn't change my room because I booked it through a third party app.

Service as there was hardly any breakfast and the staff was not Cooperative in locating the specialized pillow my wife uses for the neck sprain. We forgot the pillow at the hotel and called them back in a few hours on the same day.

The room was clean. However, it says that is a No Smoking hotel and there was a heavy cigarette smell in many areas, let alone Marijuana smell very strong in the hallways, very uncomfortable. They do not provide breakfast as advertised, it's just coffee & tea. But room was clean, free of smells and staff was very friendly and courteous.

Our experience was unacceptable for several reasons: - Cleanliness and Odor: There was an unpleasant smell in the hallway, and our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. - Lack of Amenities: The kitchen was not equipped with pots, pans, or dishes. Additionally, there were no toiletries, such as shampoo or body wash, provided in the shower. - Breakfast Quality: The advertised breakfast consisted only of coffee and a small prepackaged muffin. - Environment: The hotel was very loud in the evening, and I did not feel safe staying there with my children. Despite my request to speak with a manager during our stay, I was never able to do so. If you book through a third party site you will not be able to change your reservation.

The room was clean but i always had a smell of smoke in my room every night even though it was a smoke free building there was smoking everywhere. The breakfast was one horrible blueberry muffin and package oatmeal and coffee. There was not an actual breakfast very misleading. While the inside was okay the outside was in a sketchy area my last night i woke up at 6am to shooting. I felt like i was being constantly watched when i stepped outside in the parking lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would not stay again.

The following day when we went downstairs for "breakfast" the only thing we found was coffee. I found that weird since it was still 8am and I had other experiences where breakfast was included and It was definitely not just coffee.

The front desk lady’s where very nice Homeless man sleep in trash room.

It was shit The person running the front desk though it was more important to be outside smoking than checking me in and the room was nasty dirty all for an outrageous price

The room was filthy—floors were dirty (our feet turned black instantly), the bathroom had 2 bars of used soap on the top ledge, multiple black hairs were found in the stack of washcloths in the bathroom, and the fleece blanket had crumbs and hairs on it. It’s obvious that they didn’t do a very good job cleaning the room and based off the multiple bars of soap left in the shower, that wasn’t touched. Area is a little sketch at night (don’t make the mistake I did and walk to the 7-11 behind the building).

I was ultimately shocked that the hotel even bothered charging what they did for this hotel. This should have been a $70 stay at most! Not $175! I booked a room here and so did my friends. The first room they got was horrendous and dirty, they were able to ask for a new room and were moved over with haste. The room we got was on the second floor. it was so musty, but thought we could get through it since we will be in the room. Entering the room was, however, so much worse. Better put.. smelled like boiled broccoli and asparagus, smelly feet and dirty laundry. We tried to air it out without asking for a new room, but it was so bad. I has asked, but was told there was just nothing they could do, but was offered axe body spray from his car, the other lady behind the desk offered my febreeze to spray. I sprayed every surface, vent, and practically gassed myself out of the room. Aside from that, the people who seem to live at this extended stay on the second floor kept me up all night doing whatever it was... the shower was leaking, there was rust all over the bathroom counter and sink. I get that we were only staying for one night, but it was such a bad experience, it was not worth the money or the lack of sleep before having to drive 4 hours home the day after. If you can. find somewhere else to stay. Their were so many loud people outside the parking lot doing whatever, and homeless sleeping in the cemetery just feet away from the parking lot. Just didn't feel safe overall.

The staff was always friendly and was very helpful regarding any questions I had. However, my bathroom wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been. I felt uncomfortable using it during my stay. There was also a pungent smell of marijuana despite the smoke-free rule.

Most of the rooms smelled like smoke. We switched rooms 3 times. The towels appeared dirty, the microwave had a terrible smell, and brown stuff in it. There was no ice machine.

To start… we got in extremely late and were told there was an audit happening which meant we couldn't check in for 40 minutes. Us and our toddler who we just woke up to bring into the hotel and who began a melt down being told we had to stay in the “lobby” area which is just a hallway with no chairs, and luckily the receptionist did bring a chair but still… if i had known that we couldnt check in at this time i wouldve booked another hotel more suitable for our needs. The room also smelled of cigarettes so strongly. Breakfast is muffins instant oatmeal packets and coffee. It just was a terrible beginning to end. BUT the bed was comfy or maybe i was so exhausted from this encounter anything would be comfy.

I was looking for an economical one-night stay, and this room suited my needs. The power went off momentarily, and it took a while for the tv to reset. Overall clean, comfortable and quiet stay. The free breakfast is on the light side -packaged muffins and coffee … but again, the price was right.

The property is a five minute walking distance to a shopping plaza, which was absolutely great. The staff was very hospitable and eager to assist me in check-in. I would definitely again.

Property appearance looked just fine. Unfortunately the streets around the hotel have trash all along sidewalk. I know its not anything the hotel can do about that. In fact the property had excellent kind and helpful staff. My only complaint was last night there I had a group of people playing loud music and yelling as they toasted shots. I could hear through the walls this was an 18th birthday celebration. I asked front desk for music turned down but music continued til 3am. Final conclusion: Good place to stay Monday thru Friday morning but not weekends.

There's a lot of drug addicts/dealers hanging out in the stairs or the parking lot all day & all night. It's very unnerving. The cops constantly circle the parking lot. I don't know what's going on there but I wouldn't recommend it.

Alkram, the manager, of Extended stay in Alexandria Virginia made our visit a pleasant surprise. It was 10 minutes from my competition venue and walking distance from the grocery store and various restaurants! It was a better than expected visit. I would seriously consider visiting again.

Very basic property. Paid for queen bed, got double. Someone obviously smoked in the room beforehand with the smell and fire alarm missing. Had to ask for dishes vs having them in there like other extended stays. Other than that it was fine.

The room was not clean the linens didn’t look clean and the hallway had dust bunnies chasing me down the hallway. My first indication that I had made a horrible decision in staying here was signs in the parking lot stating “Don’t leave valuables visible in your vehicle”. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

It took 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check-us in. He did not say a word and our keys did not even work.The hallways were littered with trash and there were other people with their hotel doors open, cooking food in the hallways, and going from room to room. It was very loud and the rooms were not sound proof at all.

Isayas Front Desk manager was very friendly and have a good knowledge about the property and the area! very helpfull went to help me two times to show me the room and checked for me if the room is ready for me, the cleaniliness and the comfort! One time the room couldn't open and came and helped me! Very Commendable! Thank Isaias for me!

The shower in my suite did not work. I informed the front desk , he came upstairs and confirmed that it was not working. He told me politely that there were no other rooms available. I needed to shower so he opened a room that was vacant but not cleaned yet so I could take a shower. I had to leave my room on the 2nd floor at almost midnight to go on the 3rd floor in order to clean up and came back to my room. I asked if I’ll get some form of compensation because of how inconvenient this was. I did not. In addition the pillow cases were dirty; had to remove pillow and sleep without. I had a very uncomfortable night. I hope they can read this review and refund me because that showering on the 3rd floor was very inconvenient!

The haborside is very clean . The lady at the front was very very nice .. the fitness center has more cardio equipment then weights but i made it work. If i would change anything it would be to put dumbbells in the fitness center … working out is my passion and i love a good gym so whenever i book a stay that is one of the things i must have in the hotel. But overall im satisfied the cable machine that was available i was able to get a great full body workout. Actually learned some new exercise moves that i can now add in my workout routine at a regular gym ..

I didn’t like the smell of the hallway, they need to vacuum the halls, the window blind was broken I couldn’t even put it up, the shower knob was falling off. Nobody waiting to greet us. Every time I walked in I didn’t see anybody in front desk.

The customer service was good. However, the bed was so terrible both of us were hurting in the morning and took more than a day to recover. The person at the front desk didn't secure the back door as it was constantly open due to the guests propping it open to smoke

The elevator was broken during our stay so that was a minus and also I choose this hotel because of the the kitchen and the supplies provided were not good. I took 20 mins to cook scrambled eggs. The kitchen sink was leaking also sI have to pile towels under it. Also they never came to change the sheets and provide us with free towels. Over all stay was ok. The locations was perfect close to everything.

Loved the convenience. Close to shopping but nestled in a quiet area off the beaten path. While the kitchen was ‘dated’, it had everything we needed, including a full-size fridge. And, we loved the faux hardwood floors. Very convenient and easy to keep clean. The staff was very friendly. Thanks for a great stay at extremely affordable prices!

When we got there, there was no one at the front desk. At 8am there was nothing left for the breakfast. We stayed two nights and no one cleaned the room while we were there. The bathroom door didnt have all its screws. The kitchen sink wasnt completely attached to the counter. The stairway smelled of piss.

I have never been treated worts in any hotel in my life. And Expedia never even did anything to help me with my complain. I will delete my Expedia app.

Clean friendly staff

The good thing was it was still available at last minute. The staff was horrible and the bed sheet was dirty so NEVER again

Unfriendly front desk staff; no free breakfast or Coffee as claimed.

My stay here was amazing and service was awesone

Upon checking in walking in to the place smelled like marijuana. Two patrons were standing in front of the place. Staff weren’t at front desk. Seemed a bit skeptical. Lil spooky but after while warmed up. It was my first time in that area. Check in was fast once the staff came to front desk. Very noisy place. From the refrigerator to the neighbors and roadside if you’re a light sleeper this place may not be for you. Sucks to say I will not be returning nor will I recommend. Housekeeper didn’t give clean sheets not attempt to clean room. From scale 1-10 I will say 4 only because the hot water stays hot. But the shower didn’t look clean.

No breakfast available. Staff was friendly and check in and out was fast/easy.
