Restaurants within walking distance. 1: The continental breakfast consisted of pre-packaged muffins and pastry, two choices of cereal, yogurt and coffee. I expected more. 2: Poor selection of TV channels. The online TV guide did not match the channel selections. Example: The guide showed a channel for the History channel, but that channel could not be found when cycling through the channels. 3: The area in general. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but the area is not a good area. I felt safe but I had to be cautious. A lot of homeless persons, beggers, I watched the police arrest and handcuff an individual, and I witnessed people taking clothes from the clothing and shoes donation containers.

It was alright for cleanliness but the room had a strong Oder of burning plastic/ electrical fire but other than that it was and alright stay and it was bed bug free. They said my check in time was wrong even though it was the day I showed up so they charged me again I a higher daily rate and didn’t refund my original money spent. ( VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.) - wouldn’t tell me where my room was I was told I would find it. I did eventually find it. 1 hour later

The only nice thing about this place was the mural painted on the wall in the middle of the two buildings. The front desk employee was nice as well. The place was crawling with hookers LITERALLY. You could not even breathe for the overwhelming smell of marijuana. I was only there overnight thankfully or I would have left and found somewhere else.

Enjoyed my entire time there. I personally had great experience. The hotel got a little pricey at the end but we were there for about a month and a half , but overall enjoyed the experience would definitely recommend it to others. Also a very great location found everything I needed to find in the area lots of places to go to eat and things to do in the area. Only thing I didn't like was the price is kind of fluctuating and jumped up pretty high.

The biggest issue is safety. Someone tried to open my room door, and the same happened to other guests from my group. There is clearly no real security. Homeless individuals were entering the hotel despite a security door, going into the breakfast area, taking food, and walking freely through the hallways and up the stairs. Staff tried to remove them but were unsuccessful. I personally encountered individuals who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. There were even police and firefighters at the hotel, which adds to the concern. Breakfast was unacceptable—only black coffee, sliced bread, and butter, even though I paid for it daily. After most guests left, they suddenly offered better options. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. I do not recommend it, especially for women traveling alone.

It was an excellent location for my stay, especially being close to friends I planned to visit. It was also very close to the airport for very ease of access to get back to my departure away. The staff were welcoming and a pleasure to help at any point if they were needed. I don't think there's nothing.

From the second I arrived, I felt unsafe. People were loitering on the balcony levels yelling, yet the front desk had the nerve to assure me there was “no crime” and the property was safe. Within minutes of getting to my room, my smoke detector started beeping nonstop and 3 police cars rolled in with 6 officers jumping out. So muc for that lie. I spent two hours trying to get help, to be told there was no maintenance available. Their grand solution was maybe moving me to another room, as if that would magically fix the filth, the neglect, and the complete lack of concern. No refund, no compensation, no accountability. The room was disgusting. There was a large gap around the door that I had to stuff with a towel to block the draft. The bathroom had a dirty washcloth still hanging in the shower, hair on the floor, and a sticky mess underfoot. The water would not get hot. The smoke detector beeped all night. I paid for a clean, safe, functioning room and got none of that. Hotels.com was equally useless. When I begged for help finding a safer place to stay, they told me any refund for the unused portion of my stay was up to the hotel. Predictably, the hotel refused, despite the false photos and the fact that I did not receive the basic service I paid for. I travel often, including internationally, and this was one of the worst, most dishonest lodging experiences I have ever had. This place is a scam with walls.

Air condition is too noisy. Breakfast has only cereals and bread, no waffles or fruits or anything like usual hotel. It is more a motel not hotel. Too much smoke though we opted for nonsmoking.

There was no Bible in the room and there were cockroaches crawling everywhere. Also after paying $100 online for the room you still have to put a $50 deposit down for the room you do get it back the next day but it is still annoying.

They started knocking at 9:00 a.m. Even though I had a late check out for 1:00 p.m. I couldn't sleep after that and it was so annoying because I didn't get there until 11:00 p.m. The day before. I told him that I was coming in late and I do not want to be woken up. Then they start in with the knocking at 9:00 a.m. and then continuously knocking every hour on the hour after that. So annoying. I can't wait to get my deposit back because that's the only good thing that comes out of that hotel.

Upon check-in they confirmed it was a non-smoking room (and made me sign a non-smoking statement) yet the room smelled like an ashtray.

This is literally one room with a bed and a toilet. Its good if you just sleeping there for a few hours in and out, but to stay longer than a few hours with family i dont recommend it, excellent price, lots of restaurants around and staff was friendly.

The room had a weird smell, there was a stain on the white top blanket, beds seemed old and made noises when you moved.

A little pricy for a hotel that looks and feels so old. But, the room was clean and large.

I checked out today and over 90 minutes after check out my deposit hasn't been returned. The signage at the desk said it would be returned after 15 minutes. I call and call the desk but nobody picks up still. I'm bitterly disappointed. Totally unprofessional by Days Inn (Oct 6-7)

After reading many reviews I don’t see how many wrote crappy things about this hotel, it was a lot better than expected. Would feel very safe with staying again. The only thing I would put a stop to of a select few staying there I guess long term throws their trash over the bacons. Looks like third world stuff but out of 5 stars I still give it a 4.5 out of 5

They asked for a 100$ security deposit that would be refunded after my stay. I never got that back so Im still overchared by 100. I'm very upset that this breaks my trust for this location

No kinf desk person to greet you. Only choice of a blueberry mufgin and a small carafe of ciffee and a cup if juice for a breakfast. Paid !100 deposit for who knows what which id more thsn the ebtire cost if the room. Im an elite Wyndham rewards member and i will say their standards have fallen down.. alot. Sad but i did not feel safe here and i would not recommend this place to anyone. Not even an enemy. Come on wyndham.. get rid of these Dats Inns and Super 8. Nothing but trash.

The hotel really needs to have two people working the desk checking people in during the evenings from 7 to midnight, especially Friday and Saturday nights. It took me 45 minutes to check in & then they charge $100 - which is as much as the room was - for a security deposit and, they double charged me on gbs security deposit so I paid $200 in security deposit for $100 room that it took me 45 minutes to check into, it's not acceptable. Then, there was another manager type guy there but he wasn't doing anything. He was just letting the one clerk check people in & he knew the line was long.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There were blood stains on the sheets. The floor in the hotel room had never been mopped. It was black filthy. The beds were horrible. Woke up in all kinds of pain. My little dog went under the bed and came out with a potato chip. Obviously, no one has ever vacuumed and cleaned under the beds. An absolutely disgusting hotel from top to bottom. And we were not compensated in any way for the disgusting conditions we had to endure. Furthermore, when I booked my room, I asked for a first floor room because my husband is handicap. When we got there, they had nothing but a second floor room to offer us. So my poor husband had to climb the stairs to our hotel room. And then there was the running and partying and arguing outside on the landing all night long crazy people acting up. and they want to charge $100 or more a night to stay there. They should’ve been a $20 night stay. You cannot pay me to stay there again. Do not work here one as fast as you can away from this hell hole.

I got this hotel because of the location (close to DC but not in). And because of the swimming pool. Well the swimming pool is completely filled in and overgrown with plants. They DO NOT have a swimming pool. Location was extremely dirty. Rooms smelled of weed nonstop. Everywhere.

The floors were very dirty. Bottom of your feet get black from the dirty floor. People dropping their overnight trash in bags over the balcony and leaving on the ground.

Asked for nonsmoking room, the room reaked of smoke.

The property needs to be kept up a little more one of the air conditioning units wasn’t working and the knob to one of the showers fell off and cockroaches.

Please do not book a stay here at all. The staffing definitely needed to be revised. Owner should know that there is a problem to this property. Spend you money elsewhere and not spend it here.

I got stuck on elevator on day one. Room cleaned twice on a 7 day stay. The same stranger knocking in my door at all hours. I had the feeling of an impending drug deal at all times. Tv remote extremely sluggish. Hotel lobby staff hiding behind bulletproof-proof glass. A $28 dollar Uber ride from DC mall. Look elsewhere. A poor example of hospitality.

I had to leave the room with hopes I’ll get some reimbursement and check myself into another hotel late at night. There were roaches in the room. Because I had already been in the room I wasn’t promised refund. ?!!

The front desk lady was super nice !!!! Very respectful and check in was very fast !

The check in lady was very rude the system was down and people was trying to check in and when it came back up she took the people who was walking in first and me and the other guy was waiting over 40mins and was ridiculous

In need of better customer service

Room smelled like smoke and mold . Sink drain had horrible smell . Bed had stains all over it and burn holes in sheets . Not safe people kept approaching me .

The house keeping came in at 9am and just open the door when we were still sleeping and never said sorry for what they did! When we were going out and we were still taking out our things the house keeping didn't care we were still inside and just came in and started moving everything. Our bathroom floor was dirty the coffee maker still had dirty coffee bags from other people.

Then the breakfast thing, no more for the third day. No explanation. Bad bad management.

1) we checked in at 4 pm but our room was not available until 7. The staff first told us to wait maximum of 2 hours. Then 2 hours passed the staff did not have any updates. We asked why and they blamed the cleaning crew but apparently could not reach the cleaning crew service manager to check on status. There was no manager of the property available to talk to. 2) then they offered us another room and said we have to pay extra which did not make any sense. We said the hotel should offer better options compensating our inconvenience. Then they blamed the system but a few moments later found a different room with same price. 3) the elevator was not working and it didn't get fixed within 3 nights we were there. 4) the internet was terrible. It did not work but when we complained they blamed it on too many users. But when pressed if the service can be reset, they said the manager was not around. It worked a day after, but too slow. 5) they say breakfast included but in reality there was no breakfast. The two things they gave were tea and a bad quality muffin. Sad to see such a low quality management and hotel in Washington DC.
