    The area was convenient and quiet I recently stayed at Red Roof Inn Albany GA and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The cleanliness of the rooms was unacceptable,there appeared to be mold, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the bedding looked stained and unhygienic. The air conditioning worked inconsistently, which made the stay uncomfortable. Breakfast was also disappointing. Although it was included through my rewards booking, there was little to nothing available, and the only item I received (a banana) was rotten. Overall, this location did not meet basic standards for cleanliness or comfort. I would not recommend staying here.

    First time was good, but second time coming here was not to good. Check in was great no problem walk in the room it looked clean after checking out but was to busy to stay in until the next night from being so busy from the long drive and working. I WENT TO SLEEP AND WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING BEING ATTACKED BY FLEAS. Yes I reported it to the front desk and still waiting for a response. So with that being said I’m so upset.

    The slummiest property I ever stayed to! I had heard from colleagues that this was a good property, but no it wasn’t pleasant at all! The outdated look of the hotel; it needs to be remodeled! The back of the toilet was filthy and that told me everything I needed to know!

    Dedra the front desk clerk was very nice The manager Latoya was very rude, I mean just very disrespectful. She came beating on the door at 12:15am talking about she smelled smoke coming from our room, besides the fact that I don't smoke, the smell of marijuana could be smelled all down the hallway. She said she smelled smoke and it was coming from my room and so I had 10mins to leave the property. So at 12:30 at night I had to pay a Lyft to take me to another motel where it cost me another $100. By far the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a motel. I will definitely be steering people away from red roof inn.

    The room wasnt clean. There was not a ironing board and the iron didn't work. There was a large cockroach in the bathroom under the sink. The shower was clean. I have stayed in several hotels/motels while traveling and this was one of the worst locations that I have stayed at.

    The room smelled musty The phone didn't work. Mold in the shower and around the base of toilet. The water pressure extremely low. The washcloths were dingy and raggedy. The TV remote didn't work. The bathroom floor wasn't cleaned. The clerk that worked Sunday morning was less than pleasant. The clerk that worked Saturday night that had the blonde hair was very nice.

    Hotel was fine - staff horrible. Housekeeper propositioned my husband - that’s right - PROPOSITIONED my 73 year old husband !! First, she asks if he’s checking out then asks him to tip her!! After walking in the room while my husband gathered things to check out - she’s scanning the room as if she is going to rob him - pulls her pants down and asks “do you want some of this?” What?? He replied “no thank you.” On her way out of the room she drops her pants again and says “you sure you don’t want some of this?” He asked her to leave. Next the front desk employee or manager comes to the room and says the housekeeper told her he was stealing things out of the room. WHAT?? Supposedly he took a cover from the couch. He told her if he had it was an honest mistake and he would be glad to check the car. He found it - it was gathered up with my son’s clothes - and he apologized. The clerk told him he needed to leave. Again, WHAT?? He asked her why she was treating him so rudely and she made a comment about him causing trouble. He had not reported the housekeeper - he didn’t want her to lose her job over an obvious need for money - but at this point, with the rude manager, he asked if she was aware of the maid propositioning him. Evidently this was the reason HE was causing trouble!! After talking with her for a few more minutes, he left the hotel on cordial terms with the manager - so he thought. He went back later to retrieve his phone charger left in plug in the room - a different manager on duty - whom he remembered from 2 weeks earlier when he and my son stayed one night there. When she looked up his room # she said, I heard there was an incident, what happened ? - there’s a note to ban you from future reservations!! Are you kidding me??

    The bathrooms were worn down badly and not tidy... we were killing roaches that crawled out of the sofa b ed and up the walls of the bathroom... We were already drained becauae of the drive and being their for a funeral. We dealt with our room but ny parents first room would not get warm so we did have to change their room the second room heated better but still was not pleasant.

    They canceled my room reservation without my knowledge and I only found out that it was canceled because I wanted to update the dates. The site was still trying to pull money after I was told the reservation was canceled. Also, apparently it had been canceled for days.

Flooring in the room was gapped and uneven collecting dirt and grime. Table surfaces were sticky and felt unclean. The curtains were cheap and could not blockout the intense light from the lights in the parking lot aka the crime deterrent!

    Review: Our stay was absolutely terrible. The rooms were dirty and smelled like mildew—there’s clearly a serious mold issue throughout the building. My brother’s room was entered by staff, and all his full Coke cans were stolen. Shockingly, the fridge was refilled the next day with bottles of Coke like nothing happened—completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I had my 150-pound disabled dog with me and was forced to carry him and all our luggage up the stairs because the hotel has no elevator. The hotel is not accessible and extremely inconvenient. My brother and his two workers also had a horrible experience. The “breakfast” consisted of cereal only—this place is not what it advertises and should honestly be shut down for health and safety reasons. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The hotel is not accessible and extremely inconvenient. My brother and his two workers also had a horrible experience. The “breakfast” consisted of cereal only—this place is not what it advertises and should honestly be shut down for health and safety reasons. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

    The property online showed it was well kept and nicely updated. The room costed almost 100 dollars for just one day. There was mold in the bathroom and several things were broken in the room. Parking is odd and rather limited. The property is not in the best location but it did ok for a one night stay. Some rooms were being painted at the time of my stay but the property itself could really use a remodel. I would not stay again.

There was rust around the shower drain as well as the fan in the bathroom. Housekeeping probably needs to be trained because the mirror in the bathroom was horrible, it looked like a 2 yr old cleaned it. The comforter on one of the beds had VISIBLE blood stains ( like the last person in the room fresh bllod stains). The room did have a mini fridge but the freezer part was frozen like it needs to be defrosted. The walls in the room are paper thin. I walked to the front desk and could clearly hear everything in every room as i walked by. The tv in the front lobby was so loud and played all night. Now on to this "BREAKFAST" They say is included. It LITERALLY is a waffle maker, half used ceral ( no it was not refilled. I went around 5 am to grab a cup of coffee. Came back at 8ish and the ceral looked the same) &, bananas. Oh and coffee. They have an entire area that lools like it could be a good space for a nice breakfast but they use it for storage. There isnt any oatmeal,grits, yogurt, bagel or anything that even the resembles a continental breakfast. So if you are thinking you will eat breakfast here, you better doordash it .

    While the property is a little outdated it could definitely be kept clean. The rooms were not serviced between visits as they should have been. Guest did not feel secure due to poor lighting and the door locks were not working properly.

    We have been to this hotel a few times in the last few years. The room needed to be repaired. Alarm clock did not work, some of the lights did not work. Mold in the shower on the grout. Part of the secondary folding lock on the door was missing and the lock could not be used. We got to the property late and there were teenagers running around on the streets around the hotel. My family ran inside the hotel to avoid what was going on outside. We will not be returning.

    It felt veey welcoming as you walk in but the young gentlemen had to change my room 3x cause of the tv did not work,mold is very bad in the tub and my last room didn't have a telephone or alarm clock.I stayed there for 3 days and noone came to clean up the room at all.I asked for a mop and broom to clean the room myself.It was really awful especially when you are paying your earnings for a comfortable stay.

    Before coming to post here, I tried to have owners contact me but to no avail. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would! This hotel was disgusting! For starters, upon inspecting the beds, I discovered a big brown stain with hair under the mattress protector as shown. On the sheet on top of the protector, was a bug and pubic hair! Secondly, on the night , 10/26/24, we checked in, at 4:14AM, two women next door were arguing and starting fighting. The arguing then escalated to the hallway where I (and several others) had to open our doors. This got so out of hand that the police was called. They came and started banging loudly on the door. So for over an hour, we had to deal with that. The staff members and the customer service there are subpar and mediocre. I spoke to two people (one of which I sent pictures to) about my complaint and received half apologies with no sense of urgency or care. One being the night shift manager. My contact information was left TWICE so the owners could call me back but I have yet to receive a call. Stay away from the place especially if you have small kids!

    I would like to leave my review about the Red Roof Albany GA, the environment is terrible, very poorly maintained, the bathroom floor is filthy, the door safety lock is broken. The bath towels are of very poor quality! There is no smoke detector in the room, I will send photos of all this and put it on the internet, so that more people know about the poor quality of service and the poor quality of utensils provided!

    A lot of cosmetic issues. Two holes in the wall. Handle hanging off dresser. Two cracks in the shower that look like punch marks. Black mold in the shower. Black mold also seems to be on the ceiling in the shower. They changed the lock types and didn’t paint what the new lock didn’t cover. Towels and wash clothes need to be replaced. No longer white. We killed a few roaches. Coffee table look to be chewed up like I dog chewed at the bottom. Breakfast was limited and the drinks were already poured with no cover. Staff was okay. I took pictures of the major issues. I wouldn’t stay there again. It was a last min trip. I don’t think it was worth $80 / $100 with tax. More than $30/$35.

    Stayed at this hotel during the hurricane evacuation and unfortunately this was the closest available hotel from my home in Tampa, Florida. My 9 year old son and I stayed in room #201 and the conditions were horrendous. There was black mold growing all along the ceiling of the bathroom walls. The refrigerator iced up and the toilet was partially clogged so it worked minimally. I advised the front desk and was told the hotel was booked and that they would advise the manager. I never heard back and finally spoke with the manager at 4:30am the 2nd day when I checked out early because of the dangerous conditions. This was a serious health hazard especially for my son who has asthma. Absolutely shameful!!!!!!!!!

    There was a used condom outside in the spot I parked got out of car there it was breakfast was a joke and the lady working Sunday at desk was rude the young lady that checked us in Saturday was very helpful pillows were flat super flat bed uncomfortable

    The room was a nice big size. The room was fairly clean, except for the tub. The soap shelf had hair all over it!!! My husband fell getting in, due to the height of the side of the tub and there not being any threads to grip your step. That is dangerous! Other than that, we’d stay again.

    Monday 8/19 Ron Redburn got in the shower started to shampoo his he fell. Well he jarred his neck. After sitting for awhile to be sure nothing was broken, we managed to get his 6'3 frame out of the tub and dryed, he played on the bed for awhile. I inspected the tub and the anti slip application was almost non existent. I went to the desk to file a accident report was told they don't have one!. I asked if I could write an explanation on my receipt for someone to sign . Lady who said she was the manager said she would not sign anything.. there was no remorse is he ok? , or I'm sorry. No one was wearing a name tag

    The property was very clean but we were disappointed with the breakfast. We were only there overnight to drop my Son off to college and were told there was breakfast from 5-9. There was really nothing there-not what we expected. No hot food or bagels, danish-etc.
