I booked a hotel room with a king size bed and sofa bed for 3 people online through the website. I called the hotel to confirm and report I was to be checking in late in the evening. All was great at that time. When I arrived at 11:30 pm they gave me the keys to a room with a king size bed only, no sofa bed and trash in the trash cans, in other words a dirty room. I went back to front desk where they told me they had given away my room. After a call to the manager, a clean room like the one I had paid for was available and ready within 30 minutes. The 2nd room was clean and what I paid for, my rating reflects having to fight to get the room I reserved at midnight when I was tired and ready to go to sleep. I have no idea if this is the way they treat people regularly or just a one time front desk employee problem. Breakfast was good and the support staff were very friendly.

My trip way palnned and paid for in full several weeks ahead, i checked in right at 3pm the beggining of the check in and i was told i had to be put on the third floor. i asked if i can have a room on the first floor so i didnt have to go to far because of my severe back pain but the attendent told me there was nothing available.

We had a good stay. The construction is finally over. The pool was open. Breakfast was served, but guests had to request food. No one came to empty room trash during 5 day stay (I guess you have to request it). The drawer was broken in room (not a deal breaker). It wasn't reported, but noting for future guests so you know you need to requests some things. Overall, enjoy our annual stay at LaQuinta. It is convenient to our family needs. We will be back. :)

Rooms were well maintained. They stopped putting out items in thier continental breakfast one hour before the end of the breakfast serving period. Also, the side door out of the hotel does not allow re-entry and you are required to go all the way back to the front door / main entrance.

Overall stay was good but the rooms need extreme upgrades. Walking into the lobby you would think the rooms would be nicer than they are. Tub has permanent dirt rings and in the bottom of the tubs. Shower curtain was dirty. Although it’s a non smoking facility it has an old stale smoke smell in the rooms.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING (the staff, food, and clean/comfortable rooms)!!! This is the only place I stay when I am in Albany, Georgia!!! Thank you for everything ❤️ N/A

Pictures online are a bit misleading, the facility is very dated, rooms are clean, but bathroom was so dated that it could not be truly clean. First room had a ceiling leak and mold smell, second room was better, but still pretty dated. Staff was great.

Staff was very polite and nice. Linens were clean and neat. Room had a very musty smell and I woke up with a headache making me concerned about mildew or mold. Music was played loudly in the hallway for at least an hour after midnight with no response from staff despite the hallway being open to reception area where it would have been heard clearly. Hotel appears to have surface level updates but needs attention to details to make a comfortable environment to stay.

It was a decent place to stay but the breakfast was gross. Grits not cooked & coffee tasted terrible. Would have liked better accommodations for $171 per night. The good thing is property is close to a lot of restaurants and stores etc

Well, first of all the staff was great. The young man at the front desk was very inviting and professional. But as for the room that we had, there was not enough lighting in the room, the only light that was bright enough for us to get dressed was in the bathroom or we had to open the curtains .couldn’t understand why there wasn’t a lamp near the table,and when we got up for breakfast the next morning, you only have one waffle maker with everyone’s standing in line for a waffle and the poor cook couldn’t keep the station going as fast enough for the hungry crowd. He was doing the best for what he had to work with.we ended up leaving going to get breakfast elsewhere

First I would like to give a shout out to Devon. When I checked in he was so friendly and I immediately felt welcomed. I stayed for one night; the room and hotel were very clean. The area is a good area, with lots of places to eat and stores for shopping. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a hotel in area :)

The area in which the hotel is located is near a lot of places and easy access to stores and restaurants. The room has a smell. It smells dirty. Like dirty carpet! For this to be no -smoking property, I would assume it would not have a smell.

The rooms were clean and well equipped. The fixtures, i.e. bathroom door needed repair, adjoining room door would not properly lock all the way, temperature control was cracked, needed to be updated or repaired. The staff at breakfast were amazing!!!! Very friendly, very open to helping, very inviting. Most the staff were great!!! It was noisy being so close to the highway, so you will need to request the opposite side of your are a light sleeper. Overall, due to the staff being amazing, I'd rate it an 8 out of 10.. most the time you stay at the hotel for a night or two and just sleep there.

Saw a few cockroaches and the water was ice cold. Was not able to take a shower and bath my children.

The first room I got keys to someone was there watching TV. The second room I got keys to the room door wouldn't close or latch. I waited patiently both times for total 30mins or so for the staff to put me on the 3rd floor the very last room (336). To also be told that it was the very last room available. The inconvenience of the 2nd room having to remove all of my luggage back to the car was annoying within itself. Overall the stay wasn't bad. It was more so the inconvenience of having to switch rooms and wait. I didn't receive a discount for my troubles either.

Cleanliness of room. A alcoholic can was left in the room on the floor. Another open alcoholic can was on the floor next to the elevator in open view. Carpet in hallway is dirty and needs to vaccumed badly.

Poor wi-fi. Nothing would connect. There was no breakfast items available one out of the two mornings. Not hot items (eggs, hasbrowns, sausage), no milk, no yogurt, very limited waffle batter and honestly staff could not keep it supplied).

I like to say the staff is amazing my check in was great only problem I had was my refrigerator was not working and the water in my room did not get hot it was very cold .. but I went downstairs to front desk told them my problem the immediately fixed it by switching me to another room what turned out to be perfect the staff there is amazing attitudes were very pleasant I definitely would stay again.

The lobby was very nice, and the room was aesthetically well-designed. However, there was a strange odor in the room that was also noticeable in the hallway. The breakfast quality was disappointing, so we chose to skip it. The location was perfect. The staff was adequate but seemed quite busy, with one staff member managing the front desk while frequently on the phone.

I slept so good. The area was good and I was able to comfortably work remotely without any issue. Only downside was the cleaning. The spacing in the rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable! But the bathroom was molded in the sink, and in the shower. The bathroom door was also damaged at the bottom so I you could not close the door all the way.

Light switch in bath room had shortage. Would turn it on light and fan would come on then just go off. Play with switch and it would start back and do good or go off again. Thankful did not go off while wife in shower and bathroom become total dark. Accident could happen if trying to get out to cut back on

The rooms were not the cleanest. When we checked in the lobby was dirty. The elevator was dirty. The pool was closed only one ice machine worked on the 3rd floor. There was no AC through the halls so it was just hot. Guest had so many dogs so during the night and during the day you could hear the dogs barking as guest were entering or leaving the floor.

Review: This place is amazing! The staff was welcoming, helpful, and went above and beyond. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a big variety of options—definitely one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again!

I didn’t like that the 1st room they gave me the door was open and the mini fridge was unplugged by the door. They gave me another room it seems they are trying to renovate, but still allowing guest to stay without finishing the rooms. Glad it was only for 1 night didn’t like this hotel at all.

I usually pick a LaQuinta to stay in when there is one in the area that I am visiting because of good previous stays at other locations. However, my experience this time was disappointing, unfortunately. There was a good appearance upon driving up to the location, but once in the facility, there were some issues. The desk clerk, Eric with whom I dealt with at check-in, was very nice and courteous and greeted me with a smile. The check-in went smoothly. These were my issues: 1) the room had a lingering stale odor that I could not identify the source of but perhaps was coming from the carpet in the room and hallway that appeared to need to be cleaned, 2) the air conditioner in the room malfunctioned and would not stay on the temperature I set but randomly adjusted itself making sleeping difficult and overly warm at times, 3) while watching the TV, the screen would often break up into small boxes indicating cable/internet issues, 4) the ice machine was out of service on the 1st and 2nd floors resigning all guests to have to go to the 3rd floor just to get ice that once you brought to the room melted rather quickly. On the 3rd floor, the area where the ice machine was located was overly hot due to a broken air conditioning unit in the area and the hallways on that floor were also hot, 5) the breakfast area was subpar; the waffle machine didn't work, there was no butter, and a bug fell from the waffle machine that was not immediately removed by the attendant when shown it.

The pool was closed all weekend , was told for an inspection,I had called two days in advance of my stay to confirm my bookings and make sure the pool was in operation and was told everything was ready, just to get there and find out about the inspection crap, was not happy and to late to change to a different motel due to cancellation fees.

No half and half -just artificial creamer.

Not worth the price paid. Hotel is in need of serious upgrade. Telephone did not work. Lighting was POOR. Had to open the blinds at night to let parking area lighting come in to see computer key board. Hot water took over 5 minutes to reach the tub/sink. Windows leaked when it rained.

Check-in was smooth and seamless. Very disappointed that the pool wasn’t open (city hasn’t certified it yet) nowhere in the booking process alerts the customer of this. The pool is one of the main reasons we booked this hotel! The room was clean, no housekeeping issues! The outlet that the fridge and the microwave were plugged into didn’t work - yes we reset the gfci, no luck so we strung the cords to another outlet that did work. Light (fart fan) above the toilet leaked, yup drip-drip right down your back as you’re trying to handle your morning business! Hotel location is pretty centrally located to retail/food and just off the main road, it was a surprisingly quiet stay however. Now for breakfast - the other reason we chose this hotel! Advertised as hot buffet style breakfast. I’m not boujie so my expectations are mediocre. We got there at 0830, opens at 0700, no waffle mix, no eggs/grits/breakfast meat, no utensils! We alerted the staff, we were told “it’s working”. Eggs and sausage links were brought out once! Waffle mix was brought out, pour spout was malfunctioning so the attendant poured 3 people a cup of mix (in a line of many) and never came back! 0930 a new group of folks came to eat and was told everything was out! Seriously they advertise breakfast till 1000! Now let’s talk sanitary - the breakfast attendant with no gloves bare handedly replenished the utensils touching the food side of said utensils. Also, her hair, butt length, dragged the counter, no hairnets!

The hotel was better than some I stayed in the area. I can say the bed was ok, need new mattress. The bathroom was ok, need new seal around the tub, the condition around the outside of the tub need replacing. The bathroom wall need repaired and paint touchup along with the door. Oh, the ice machines need replacing, there was mildew and old parts that the paint on the machine was cracking. No telling what the inside looks like if the outside is nasty. It looks contaminated and could hard us customers. Need a new machines.

Very friendly and helpful. However on the 2nd day, we came down at 9am for breakfast and no eggs, grits were drinkable, low on waffle batter, but they eventually corrected that problem.

Plenty of roaches, the place has a bad bug problem

The stay was good I was on second floor the guest up over me was very noises they walk all night the floor was very squeaky when ever someone walks or move it was not a pleasant noise to keep hearing all night couldn't get any rest.

The front desk was very nice

The stafff was nice and very helpful.

The breakfast options were very limited as most of what was labeled was just empty. However, a food delivery was made towards the end of the breakfast time and I believe this contributed to the limited selection. The dining room attendant did offer to make more food for my family after breakfast time ended. I thought that was a nice gesture that she didn’t have to do. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. It looked like a lot of patch work repairs had been done to the walls and shower. We only stayed one night so we made it work but it was not relaxing at all. They do offer dove products so that’s nice. We come to Albany often to visit family. I’d keep this hotel on my list when my regular options aren’t available.

Matt was very pleasant and also the lady at the front desk at check out. I will not return to this location because of the above mentioned.

The wifi is horrible not secured l highly recommend a password for Wi-Fi and not just open 😒 the gym needed to be clean A/C should be also working they said we should get free breakfast and there's only pancake no orange juice no cranberry juice nothing my overall experience there was terrible

The room was clean and fresh. There are some areas that need to be touched up. The bottom of the mirror and bathroom door. The trim is some areas of the room are hit or miss. Overall, I liked the hotel and will stay again.

This is an overpriced hotel. It is not worth what is being charged per-night. Asking premium price for average or below accommodations. They are trying to keep up with other hotels on pricing in the area when they should be worrying about how to improve the property. I will not stay here again. Poor room, poor breakfast. I will say the front desk employees(evening/morning) were very courteous and helpful. Other than that, do not waste your money...

The shower was dirty, and the design of the shower allowed water to get all over the bathroom. The AC unit did not work properly.

It felt like an old hotel. There were no stand lights on the tables. The whole place was dark and gloomy.

Unfortunately, my stay at the Laquinta in Albany was not pleasant. Upon arrival, I had to notify staff about a substantial hole in the bathroom door. There were also additional chips in another door around the lock. Items in the rooms, such as the clock and the table, appeared to be in poor condition, with paint chipped from the table and discoloration in the clock next to the bed. Due to these issues, the room did not feel clean or welcoming. I attempted to change rooms, but unfortunately, I was informed there were no other rooms available.

The mattress on the bed had a hole in it when you sat/laid down. It was very uncomfortable.

Walls are very thin so lots of noise from inside and outside hotel. No hot breakfast apparently due to delivery issues. Bathroom off lobby had no soap and no towels!

Nice hotel for the price

The property staff in the morning were great and she was very friendly. The maintenance team that helped with my hot water situation was really nice. I disliked having to switch rooms once I had already unpacked however, I liked the fact that they were accommodating to my situation with the room and corrected the issue by moving me to a new room and my stay was great. Thanks for the southern hospitality.

Overall condition of property is deteorating rapidly.

This property is run down need some major tlc in the gueat rooms. New appliances and furniture and the bathroom needs to be run done a complete make over. The ice machines don't work but was scared to use the one that did. Save yourselves and go somewhere else for a little bit more money

The hotel was excellent. The staff was awesome and helpful. My only problem was other guests allowing their children to run up and down the halls which prohibited me from sleeping.

Only problem i had was my shower took like 10 min to get hot. I don't know why it would take that long. Other than that everything was top tier.

My stay was going well until I got ready to take a shower and discovered that there was no hot water. The desk clerk did move us to another room, which was annoying but That issue was solved. The next issue was trying to go sleep with light on and couldn’t turn it off. Again the issue was corrected the following day. Overall our stay was great.

Property is exactly what I expected!

I luv the staff super friendly very professional the rooms are great really like the king bed and the pillows are the greatest ever. Walking distance to shopping is a plus easy access if you Ruther drive all and all it’s the only place we stay when we’re in town.. THANKS TO THE STAFF YOUR ALL AWESOME

The property was a little outdated. The staff was friendly and polite. The breakfast was great! It was ok for a drop in one nighter.

The door to the room was loosely on the henges, the mimi freezer was scratched up and leaning, the ac rarely worked correctly, lamp with no light switch so you have to unplug to turn the light off, drawer on desk wouldn’t stay shut, outlets on bed frame were loose from the frame and some didn’t work.

The room was nice and clean. One of the lamps didn't work. The phone in the room didn't work. There w was no hot water to shower or take a bath. The bathroom water was very cool.

Burn marks and stains in room carpets Very loud i could hear both rooms beside mine tvs playing at night time. aloto f homeless people in parking lot and surrounding property, limited parking in the evening.

Hotel did not have any record of my reservation even though I showed them my reservation and itinerary. Has to rebook room through the actual hotel.
