The ladies at the front desk were very nice. The room needs a lot of work. The tub didn't drain while you were taking a shower. There are cracks in and outside of the bathroom. The floor has a lot of pen marks on it. The floor overall wasn't very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The place seems like a for construction workers and contractors instead of for families. I would not recommend this hotel. The pool wasn't working either, which meant you couldn't use the sauna. The ice maker on the third floor wasn't working.

Upon checking in, I was charged an early check in fee because I didn't call to say I would be late - though I was driving from NC to GA. The desk clerk was less than cordial - I guess she was having a bad day? My room was on the second floor. The entire hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, despite a signs saying "No Smoking". The room had laminate flooring with gaps in the boards, which I'm guessing was to disguise the fact that people smoked in the hotel. There was no smoke detector in the room only an open connector where either the smoke detector or a light should have been installed. The room was dimly lit. There were lamps but the curtains had to be opened in order to have sufficient light or you had to huddle under a lamp. There was an upback chair which was very soiled. In the bathroom, the only place to hang a towel was on a hook behind the door; at least a towel rack over the toilet would have been acceptable. The thermostat was located on the wall but it moved when adjusting the temperature. I would not recommend this "motel" as a romantic get away; only a place for workers to stop over for a few days.

Staff was great. That property could be updated. Water pressure was my biggest complaint. Not much. Breakfast was decent. Although I’m not much for mass produced eggs and such. Cereal, waffles, bagels, etc. for the money not bad.

As always everything was great. Staff are always so polite and very helpful when needed. Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious. We will definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and professional. However, the bedding for the rooms were not clean. The sheets and covers had various spots and stains on them. The bathroom was not totally clean, with hair on the floor and in the shower. In fairness, the staff did warn of a shortage of the housekeeping workers. We only stayed one night so I cannot give a review on the breakfast or the amenities outside.

Check in person was very friendly and nice. For the price, it wasn't bad. The breakfast buffet was not great. The sausage and eggs weren't any good. It wasn't well stocked.

The couches has stains on it. The online post stated hot tube and they offer a crib for babies. They did not have either. false advertisement. I called two weeks to book and ask was the pool open the staff member said yes and the pool was not open and someone else told me it was closed for a month. Horrible stay.

Called about checking in early. Told there was no fee. Paid $25. Oh well. Staff was talking crap about people who check in early with me standing right there. Hottub is concrete over. Pool was closed with no knowing when it’s going to reopen. Toilet had pee all over it. Rude when I asked to come clean it & rude after cleaning it. Was suppose to be 25 refunded immediately. Hasn’t hit. Do not recommend.

We were upset because I got this hotel because the hotel had an indoor pool and sauna. My kids were really looking forward to the pool and all were told is the pool is broken at the desk. There was nothing on the website or notification that it was close. So because the pool was close the sauna which I had been looking forward to was close. I could of got an better hotel for an lower rate but I chose this one because of the pool and rating. I was very disappointed.

This is a solid choice for a stay in Albany. It is a good and quiet location with a friendly staff. There is ample parking and access is easy. The hot breakfast was very good. The pool was out of order and there was no offer to reduce the room rate to compensate. There were no tissues provided. This stay was in the spring allergy season...tissues are not optional!! Overall, the hotel met our expectations.

It wasn’t as clean as I thought, the tvs are old school and it was glitching couldn’t watch tv. It was itchy

We liked the location, and the room. Comfortable bed, nice desk and desk chair. The room was clean. Good TV and wi-fi. The breakfast.

We noticed that some of the staff, (had attitude problems, were not co-operative, while others were very nice and helpful, one in particular, when asked about where the ice machine was located, said, the ice machine is broke down, (clerk behind counter) another staff member, said wait, then filled the room ice container, (odd behavior by one and helpful friendly behavior by another) One man was very friendly cleaning up the property, (it seemed like the clerk behind the counter was very Unfriendly) while other employees were very friendly and nice. Odd, situation, but one that management or owners should be able to address and fix.

I have a beautiful stay loved everything, from the customer service to the room. Breakfast is amazing and I loved my jacuzzi room!! Can’t wait to room me another stay!!!

Safe location, convenient to some restaurants. Room was clean. We were in room 213. There is some sort of structural issue. The floor tilts..the drawers on the dressers will not stay closed because of dips and ridges in the floor, someone tried to makes the dresser set even by putting boards under legs to no avail. The showerhead is about 7 ft. high(no lie) it was impossible to adjust.

Booking was simple and the complimentary breakfast was good. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was for the indoor pool. We went down to swim and were told that the pool wasn’t open and the receptionist told us “she would call her boss” and she said she would call us in 30 minutes. After an hour we went down to check only to get the same answer. The treadmill in the fitness room did not work. The ice machine was out of order and the vending machines were empty.

Tub was slow to drain, had a few inches of standing water at the end of our showers. Curtains let in a lot of light, which doesn't bother me, but it did for my husband.

Location Got to the hotel around 11 o’clock checked in the reception lady wasn’t too friendly. Got to my room on the third floor room 320 a smell in the hallway like molar mildew went into the room. Everything was OK. Looked at the covers on the bed a few stains and spots, and it was time to pull up to pull out couch for my dad. It was broke have feces smelled on the pillows very nasty. I have the pictures to show you and videos so if you need an email address, I can email it to you., so I had to leave the hotel and go and get another hotel in the Marriott. That’s how bad it was there the next morning there was other people came back and went to another hotel also and we were sharing and showing each other pictures of our rooms very disgusting very nasty so I need to call the health department.

Furniture broken and night stand drawers won't stay closed which creates safety hazard. Towels shows signs of wear and needs to be phased out. Lumpy and hard matress.

The first person was a lady at the front desk really friendly and helpful but after that the bottom fell out.first thing was the fold out couch had really bad brown stains all over it we used towels to pull them off. Second issue was the walls were damaged and was fixed but not touched up. Third thing was we went down for breakfast and both mornings they had the smallest trays for breakfast so they ran out and had a hard time keeping up with just 5 people in breakfast area and good luck looking for anything more than cereal. The second morning we waited for 30 minutes for the food to be refilled just to find out the guy was siting in the corner surfing on his phone not caring about filling food or get plates so people could eat, a lady had to go over and ask him about it and it seemed to shock him that things were empty though it was like that for 20-30 minutes. Honestly not sure we would stay there again.

The staff was very nice Room was dirty. Stains on sheets, blood on bead spread. French fries on floor. Hair on bathroom floor. The whole floor and elevator smelled like weed. Doors on cabinets wouldn’t close. I checked for bedbugs and relieved I didn’t see any.

Absolutely nothing Everything. Not only was my room not ready when I got there. Housekeeping had not even entered the room there were used underwear and Rags everywhere and trash all over the room and the beds were not even made. I requested a refund to which the nonchalant night auditor told me that that is only up to the general manager who as well as the housekeeping would not be in until the morning so I would have had to stay in a disgusting room.

The place is outdated for the price. I stayed in room 213, the floor is unlevel, which tells me the structure is compromised. I had to move rooms because that room air conditioner quit. Room 211 was much nicer. But still, not nice enough for the price. Won’t stay again.

Room left much to be desired. Bathroom had metal toilet paper holders that were rusted , no anti slip strips in tub. Upon check in found soap scum on shelf in shower and dried paper stuck to it. Only ice machine was on first floor only vending machine was on second floor.

We notified the clerk on duty, he promised to give us 40% off the room and promised that maintenance will come and fix the door. We had to put a rolling chair underneath the door. The next day a very young clerk promised me that he would forward our concern to management which he didn’t, he said no discount would be provided since we went through a 3rd party. No accommodations at all and my family, friends, travel teams, coaches and other associates will not stay at this hotel EVER.

The pool was not in service, even though that was not listed. The room was dirty and the lock didnt work. The bed was broken and dipped in the middle. Someone was stomping around on the top floor for half the night. Breakfast was ok...but 2 of the juices were out of order.

The manager at this location was very professional. We arrived before check-in and was not feeling well. She explained that we could not check-in early due to the staff trying to prepare the rooms. There was a volleyball tournament. As soon as the staff finished cleaning she allowed us to check in.

The carpet on each floors really need to be heavy clean or replaced. The staff is truly wonderful all of them.The breakfast is alway very good. However, I go to work at 3:00am there is never any coffee out.

Room was not clean and sheets were stained or dirty. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever tried to sleep on. The entire property is very rundown. The pool was out of order. I complained that the bathroom light was not working and they came to fix it and found out the bulb was not in the socket. So that means someone had removed the lightbulb, but never replaced it. I would not recommend this hotel at all, but there were no other hotels in the area available so I ended up needing to stay overnight. Breakfast was not as good as it typically is at hotels. Very disappointed in my stay.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Our initial room thermostat went out and we were moved to a different room after mutiple complaints of it being hot. The floor in the new room is not level. It's like walking up and down hills. The window has a huge crack in it from top to bottom. The dresser drawers in both the new and old rooms doesn't stay closed. The sofa has stains on it. The desk chair had stains. The blankets have stains on them. The hotel ran out of wash clothes/towels. Some of the staff has been rude or doesn't seem to care when we have inquired about different things. Too busy watching videos on their phones. The wall in the shower is damaged in one area. This hotel is obviously long overdue for renovations or completely torn down and start all over. The carpet is extremely dirty throughout. I'm not sure how they passed inspections. The toilet seat was marked up with crayon. I am so disappointed by my stay here. Never Again!!!

I did not stay at this hotel. When walking into the hotel the smell hit me first. I turned around and walked back out the door. I didn't even bother to check-in it was that bad. I want a refund...

Room was very nasty, sofa had a cover on it, removed it to take the pill out bed and the sofa had big blood stains on it, I told the staff and they did nothing…. My kids had to sleep in a chair…. Very displeased for $200 for 1 night

This visit was not so good. The front desk guy was so rude just not friendly. The pool was out of order for maintenance and that was the main purchase of our stay.

There were so many things in my room that were broken. The window was broken so bad. I was afraid it was going to fall in on me. The sink was broken. There were 2 pieces of tile with no ground around them. I won't be staying there anymore. The problem is. When you've been driving a long time to get where you're going. All you want to do is crash. When you get there, you don't feel like messing around with moving to another room.

The room was awesome, spacious and clean. Being checked in she was awesome as well. Breakfast the next morning had not enough food prepared. There were no eggs, very little potatoes, 2 yogurts and they ran out of bagels and bread. Not what I expected form this hotel line. Left hungry and had to stop somewhere else to eat. Extra money spent.

Cons: very thin walls, ceilings and floors. We could hear noise from every room around us. Could use updating. The laundry room was nice but it's $2 a load (small size!) the pool looked nice but we didn't get in.

The rms need to be updated. A lot of things were broken- pull out couch in my room not useable,not enough towels,or sheets. Only one tv when it was supposed to be 2 in the suites.

Where do I start, first and foremost the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming during my check in. My only complaint is that I am hoping that the new ownership begins to make some serious renovations especially if they plan to continue to carry that particular brand name. The interior carpets are so worn out and tired, they needed to be replaced ten years ago. Hire someone to pressure wash the front entrance once every quarter, the dirt build up and stains on the walkway and exterior of the building is very unwelcoming to say the least. Replace some rooms furnishings as some drawers on nightstands would not remained closed. An actual attendant for the breakfast area would be nice as people go downstairs and make 4 to 6 waffles delaying others. An additional waffle maker on the weekends or during city events would help.

Expected a more up to date facility. Poor workmenship on finishes. I had to switch rooms because the first one wasnt clean.

The hotel rooms are run down. They only gave us 2 towels for a room booked for 4 adults. When I asked for more towels, I was told that they would be delivered to my room... which never happened. By the next morning, still no towels available. I heard many customers asking for towels. Breakfast was just okay. The gym equipment is run down and the treadmill does not work. Very disappointed. Will not be coming back.

The dresser drawers had to be taped shut because the floor leaned and they would open; the walls were banged up and could definitely be painted again; the couch was supposed to open up, but that was disgusting and there was no bedding for it (thank goodness we had an air mattress in the car); the room was so gross; there was a TV missing; my sons said the breakfast was not good, reminded them of play food. I would never stay at this hotel ever again. I would rather sleep in my car.

Mold in the bathroom and generally not clean. Elevator floor was dirty when we arrived and still dirty 4 days later when we left. Did not have any DO NOT DISTRUB signs for the room door. Awaken daily by house keeping.

The stay was below average! There was one wash cloth, filthy windows, and towels looked used! Went down for the breakfast @7 am and there was no coffee, meat, or basically anything that usually come with complimentary breakfast! Country Inn has been my go to hotel whenever I'm traveling, but this place is not up to standards. It seems that the cost has gone up and the quality has gone down.

Service was great the young lady who checked us in was wonderful. We did like that there was no carpet in the room. The room was pretty clean but there was exposed wires in the ceiling where it looked like a light or ceiling fan was, there was no facial tissue in the room the box was empty and the toilet could have been cleaner. The breakfast was ok. The waffle maker was not working

Absolutely Awful Experience

Outdated Hotel with Poor Cleanliness, but Excellent Front Desk Service This hotel is in serious need of updates and better overall upkeep. Our room was not properly cleaned—there was a stain on one of the bedsheets, the floor looked like it hadn’t been fully swept, and both the shower and window curtains were old and worn, with one even torn. Breakfast was just okay, but the older lady working the area was not very pleasant. The drink machine ran out and was never refilled, and the base of it was broken—cups kept tipping over. At one point, she cleaned a spill off the floor and then wiped the counter with the same towel, which was concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. The one bright spot during our stay was the young woman at the front desk. She was professional, kind, and seemed to be managing everything herself the entire weekend. Even though the hotel was out of regular towels, she did her best to accommodate us by offering pool towels instead, which we appreciated. Her excellent attitude and helpfulness were the only redeeming parts of our experience.

Pros: The staf was EXTREMELY nice and did their best to try and resolve our concerns, even as far as outring is in a second room without a cracked window. Breakfast was 9/10 with sausage links that were not greasy and freshly cracked eggs. Overall, I believe the general manager or the higher powers that be within the company need to look at providing this location with more resources and it could be a really great experience for families looking for convenient lodging in the area.

It was a nice place to stay.

The bed was terrible. I was there for 2 nights and was unable to sleep because the bed felt like I was sleeping on the box under the mattress. Not to mention the argument that was had by the employees outside my door. The breakfast was cold and I was there early. It tasted like it was yesterday’s leftovers. NEVER AGAIN!!

I stayed there with colleagues for work. We chose it due to price and the fact we had been there 15 months earlier. It was ok then it is terrible now.

Upon my arrival I self prepaid for a junior suite and I had to settle for a jacuzzi room on the first floor and there was a rust ring in the bathroom in the tub. Curtains was really nasty and dirty with ketchup and oil dirt stains all over the curtains. I was very displeased with the outcome.

Hotel overbooked and sent me to another hotel where room was dirty, no towels, shower didnt work. Horrible experience

The family in the room above ours sounded like a herd of Buffalo until 2a.m. Bed was not comfortable. The TV in the living room didn't work.

the bathtub was so black on the bottom, I wouldn't even take the HOT SHOWER III most desperately needed.... it was ONE of the TWO reasons we RENTED A ROOM in the town we live,,,,, my water heater in my new to me apartment was not functioning properly ... THEN THE INSIDE HEATED POOL WAS COLD... THE SECOND REASON I RENTED THE ROOM.... my son was so disapponted

I stayed there during Christmas break. Despite the reviews and my room was clean and the floor was also quiet.

Front desk service was exceptional.... everyone was friendly and offered choices to go to for dinner. Housekeeping staff was friendly as well. Older building but very clean.

Great front desk staff, they were friendly and courteous. My only complaints were my room smelled musty and the bath tub needs resurfacing as indicated by the rust stain.

Rooms were dirty and smelly. Pretty sure my daughters room had bed bugs. Requested a crib (as advertised by hotel) for my grandaughter and the check in clerk told us they didnt have most of the amenities listed on the web page. Noisy and overall run down. Would not reccomend.

I really liked that they had wood flooring vice carpet. The young lady at check in was nice but uncertain about some things. There were just a couple of areas needing improvement. The mirror had some sort of circle design that made it look unclean, the lamp shade was falling of on one light and the hall way carpet really needs replacing.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. When we first checked in, the room we were put in had a note saying to not pull out the sofa bed that it was broken. We were moved to another room to where the sofa bed had huge stains, no linens, could only receive 2 towels when our reservation clearly showed 4 people staying in the room, 2 pillows total, and tons of stuff broken in the room that hadn’t been cleaned. This hotel needs a visit from someone in the chain to bring it back up to basic standards.

The room was spacious and looked comfortable. The sofa was full of stains, the bedspread was stained, the floor felt sticky to walk on. There was a hole torn in the sheer panel curtain. The mattress felt worn out as you immediately fell to the middle like rolling down a hill. The drawers on the dresser wouldn't stay closed. All you had to do was alked past and the drawers slid open. The stay was comfortable for the most part and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were told on checkin that a hot breakfast would be set up from 7-10. We went down for breakfast around 9:30 and the food was cold. Half of the breakfast set up was already broke down and put away. Several patrons came in after us for breakfast and looped through then walked out as there was no breakfast to get. If you offer breakfast from 7-10 the food needs to be there and hot until 10.

The elevator was dirty for the two days I stayed at the hotel. The breakfast was very basic. There were people involved in a domestic dispute loudly arguing in a nearby room. The bathroom in my room had a mirror that the glue holding it to the wall was showing through the glass making it hard to see in the mirror. The sink leaked and dripped. There were hairs all over the bathroom that were not mine.

Arrive to the hotel. Guest service the lady was nice. Received keys cards walked up to the room. The tub, sofa, floor had stains in them. Walked backed down stairs asked for a different room. Country Inn and Suites in Albany Ga is filthy dirty. I wish I could attach pictures. I think I was in a room that was not supposed to be in rotation. They said they would give me a discount after moving to another room, but they didn’t. They lied. The suite I stayed in the first night, the air was broken, couldn’t use the couch because it was stained dirty. I had the worst stay. The toilets had gross back crap all inside the rim of the toilet. Just filthy.

No breakfast. Nothing hot. No pancake mix. Was empty. Just a few slices of bread and some old muffins. Other people were not happy either.

The room was horrible. The toilet and linen were not clean. There was left over fruit for the prior occupant left on the floor. The floor was not cleaned properly. And it was hair in the shower.

I will definitely be booking at this hotel again. The owners were very nice. We had a little mix up with our room and ending up getting moved due to renovations, but it’s totally fine because they gave us a room with a jacuzzi, free of charge! I was a little upset with the breakfast selections, as there isn’t much to choose from. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place. Although they have old pictures in the reviews, this place is very modern and up to date.
