Hall way had a weird smell overall great value

Great location, shops nearby, plenty of eateries, view, cable, and staff. Breakfast. Advertisement showed eggs and possibly meat. I experienced yogurt coffee muffins oatmeal. I passed!

Expensive but nice view. Was within walking distance of Pasta Pelican which has good food and views. Otherwise, the area around the hotel was not very walkable. The free breakfast was takeaway only. Otherwise, enjoyed my stay. Room seemed clean and had refrigerator/microwave.

Window had one blackout shade, and we were on the first floor, so to get any natural light at all we had to be visible to anyone walking by. A second set of blinds would be appropriate. Also, the room did not have any shampoo or conditioner, or a coffeemaker, although there was a note that these things were available at the front desk. There was no rack for putting luggage on, and no safe for valuables.

Our room wasn’t ready well after the check in time, and the room looked like there was a bunch of damage from furniture being moved around on the floors. It was ok just for one night but not great.

Amenities are not ideal. Shower was a trickle of water, no drain stopper for a bath (front desk said people just put towels down the drain). You have to ask for toiletries. These should be offered when you check in as I didn’t think about it until I was already getting in the shower.

Saw some clumps of hair in the room and bathroom but for the most part, it was very clean, comfortable, and a great location.

We ended up staying here for about a month while we looked for new housing in the area. The location is beautiful and if you get the view of the Marina from your room it is even better. My dogs loved taking walks around the boats. The staff was super friendly and didn't seem annoyed at all as I asked them for new sheets or towels or 100 times for a new room key. Breakfast wasn't really what I would call breakfast, it was just packets of oatmeal, a few packaged muffins and some nutri grain bars.

We ended up staying here for about a month while we looked for new housing in the area. The location is beautiful and if you get the view of the Marina from your room it is even better. My dogs loved taking walks around the boats. The staff was super friendly and didn't seem annoyed at all as I asked them for new sheets or towels or 100 times for a new room key. Nice location. Couldn’t get a room with a view but it’s okay. Everything was nice.

They constantly overbook their rooms. Place was nasty. Definitely not being cleaned.

Also the bathroom amenities were low, at other extended stays there are 4 rolls of tissue. I was given a low roll and one whole, weird. And not a lot of towels. I had to get more of each day 1. Also the cleaning people, SO LOUD. Everyday the vacuum, loudly announcing themselves, it was hard to sleep. Staff never really present. Hard stay

No frills, room barely marginally clean… breakfast isn’t much at all and door from marina area into lobby very difficult to open. Stay here only in a pinch

The lube or come stains on the comforter was disgusting. A stain on the sheet is unacceptable. The cigarette smoke in the bathroom made my eyes water. The light didn’t work. The hallway carpet was disgusting.

The repairman / handyman was very nice - fixed the broken shower nozzle and toilet lid right away too There was a bunch of HAIRS all over the bedding when we checked in. Hair in the bathtub and microwave too. The place was really visibly dirty. Had to get all new bedding and change the sheets ourselves and I cleaned and disinfected the room myself because I didn’t trust housekeeping after what the place looked like when we checked in. Also, the shower nozzle and toilet lid was broken

Honestly i have nothing good to say unfortunately. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. No one told us what happened or if we were okay the next morning. Shower paint was peeling while our daughter took a bath. And the floors were so lifted from water damage. A hot ass mess. I wish i did something about it but i was exhausted from the fire alarm going off and from the days travel. Overall a -0

(They were the very cheap brand) and they did have oranges one morning, but when they were all gone by the end of breakfast, the next morning no fruit at all in the fruit bowl. Must of ran out. Negatives: Breakfast was nutrigrain bars and the worst packaged muffins I’ve even had, the elevator had people pee in it (way too high for a dog) for over 12 hours, even when it was “cleaned” it was still in the tracks, the hotel smelled like weed and burnt food, I asked for a quiet room (having surgery the next day) and the neighbor set off the fire alarm a few times and had loud drunken convos at 3AM in the hallway. It was overall okay enough. The view was the best part. Room was clean. It could be better with a few adjustments.

The noise from above and to either side of my room was a factor. The walls are very thin and led to a sleepless night. Plus, it seems like there are some homeless persons housed there. The whole place was sketchy. It used to be so much better but it seems to be under new management or ownership. I will not ever stay here again.

Location That I had to ask for the cookware, dishes and silverware at the front desk for my kitchenette. That was incredibly inconvenient.

I have recommended the extended day for many people even though I’ve never stayed there before it’s closed convenient clean the front desk and staff are great. It’s right in the center of Alameda near Oakland as well and it’s just a beautiful location there’s near the water. I would highly recommend staying here anytime it’s financially economical and a great place for business or pleasure.

The staff was very pleasant, room clean and comfortable but the breakfast wasn’t what I expected too much sweets, not bread, or sandwiches, not much for a diabetic people.

The first night of reservation for Uri Magen David was more than poor. Bathroom not working. Smoke coming into room. Room wasn’t up to par. Disappointing. Not very well handled.

Employees where nice and friendly. However noise control at the hotel not so good. Had rooms blasting music after 10pm arguments fights in lot. Did not like that we had to go down to the desk to get soaps shampoos. Itmes lacking if not asked for the room.

We slept with chairs placed on door in case someone would want to break in, ugly environment . Upon arrival there were 2 police cars in the lobby, then the clerk said they have rooms on 3 floors available and gave me the worst view in the place with a room above me with kids running around all night. Seemed like an extended stay low income living facility.

In the 2nd room, a previous occupant had cooked something with a strong aroma, and the aroma was present throughout our 2 day stay (keeping the window open to try to air it out). This aroma would have been obvious to the cleaning staff, yet it had not been addressed.

Initially our first room was nice w/ a great waterfront view but the AC was making a noise, called the front desk, sent someone up and they said we could move rooms as they did not have a part for it. Second room was nice and had a great waterfront view

This is a very nice hotel to stay at and the rooms were very nice as well. The view of the docks and boats were very nice as well. The only thing was the breakfast wasn’t what I was expecting, only getting a hard boiled egg in a bag cold and coffee. I was hoping for a breakfast plate but that’s about it. Staff was nice and cooperative.

Got here a little late and there was no more double beds that I reserved. They provided two separate rooms but I had kids so I opted for a single bed and they were able to refund me a night. Great staff and customer service! Building and rooms are a bit older, but room was clean. Would stay again if needed.

There was a stench that streamed through the hallway, and one within the room. The room smelled like protein powder. It was a bummer that the blinds didn’t keep light out very well. The beds were comfortable, but there was never anyone at the front desk the multiple times that we went when we needed to exchange towels or get dishes to utilize.

The breakfast consisted of muffins and not much else. Coffee creamer and sugar was spilled all over the counter overall fine place to stay. Don't expect a nice breakfast.

The Hotel is beautiful on the outside. Great location and my hopes were high. Well that's not the only thing high...the entire hotel smelled like weed. People were actively smoking weed the entire night. The hallways reeked, my room reeked, I tried to turn on the air conditioner and that only brought more into the room. My eyes and throat became very itchy. Not only the weed smell but the over use of cleaning chemicals to try to hide the smell made it 100x worse. Dogs were barking all hours of the night and homeless people constantly walking around the parking lot. I checked out early and received a refund. It's too bad because the staff and manager were very nice and helpful with anything that I needed.

Only complaint. I had told property management that there was dog crap on the sidewalk by the entrance because they let pets stay. Nothing was cleaned etc during my stay. As people accidentally stepped in it. Also. When we entered our room. The smoke detector was covered by a plastic bag to give you the opportunity to smoke or? They do not have shampoo or dishwashing soap for cleaning pots or pans if you decide to bring your own stuff to use the hot plate to cook. They will not bring items missing to your room. You have to retrieve it yourself. Other than that. Good place to stay. Choose the water view side of any area available. Worth the extra $30+

The area was nice, but I ended up having a allergic reaction in one of there rooms. I'm allergic to smoke and I was wondering why I was having an attack in my room than the next morning I seen a cigar ash in the room. I told the front desk she didn't seem to care to much she said she will talk to the manager and someone will get back to me and no one ever did., but I knew she was lying when she said it, just plainly can careless that someone had a bad allergic reaction in your hotel and the staff can care less. I will be sure to let their corporate office know they might not care either but they should.

Not everyone one Bally for there work but if you work in a front desk you need to understand how important is customer service. It’s a decent place to stay .

It was a decent hotel, but the mattress would make so much noise. Every time you would get in and out of bed, you can hear every mattress spring! I think it’s time to update them. There was also a constant noice, it might have been the water pipes, it kept waking me up at night as well. Other than that, it was okay.

I came in the afternoon around 3:30pm, check in was easy, service clerk was attentive and greeted me within minutes as he was tied with other duties. The room looked clean, the beds were made, enough towels, but the air conditioning was not working. The windows can be opened but the screens were broken. With kids, that could be a fall accident waiting to happen. But by the night, it got hot, so without air conditioning, I ended up opening the windows to keep cool. But also the beds were really rough, I constantly woke up having to rotate to be comfortable. And then when I woke up, I woke up with a sore back. I just wished with the amount of money I paid for the room, the least the air conditioning should work. I felt like I was at a broken down motel and not at a Extended Stay. Ive stayed at a few before but this location just isnt it. This is just my experience I had here. Could things be improved? Absolutely.

But also the beds were really rough, I constantly woke up having to rotate to be comfortable. And then when I woke up, I woke up with a sore back. I just wished with the amount of money I paid for the room, the least the air conditioning should work. I felt like I was at a broken down motel and not at a Extended Stay. Ive stayed at a few before but this location just isnt it. This is just my experience I had here. Could things be improved? Absolutely.

The room and lobby was clean, the bed was comfortable, we had good sleep. the furniture was little old. one of table legs was tilted. The carpet looks torn/old/not clean. luckily, the room and the lobby have laminate type of floor, looks a lot better. The room is spacious. They only provide shampoo, not conditioner. we had to buy on our own. The breakfast was basic, coffee, hot water, oatmeal, oranges, bars, packaged muffins. I like the outside, near the marina, flowers are beautiful, there are walk path as well.

Housekeeping is very very rude. I actually give me towels twice. I still haven’t received any towels and it’s a whole Nother day. It’s past two 12 o’clock and I still haven’t gotten any clean cloud towels my family been staying here for over. Week

I liked the location. It has a refrigerator, sink, and stove, so you can shop at Safeway and save a little. The only thing is that it was my first time, and I didn't know that cleaning was once every seven days, and we were there for nine. But at least you can take your towels to the front desk and they'll change them for you. The smell of marijuana in the elevators at night is horrible. But you're close to Target, Safeway, and the San Francisco Ferry. It's a good location.

Best place ever I recommend this to everyone everyone comfort, quietness, and just relaxation. The water view is beautiful. The staff is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful and clean.

This property is something special on the water, with grocery and shopping stores nearby. They also accept dogs and while the fee is $25 per day (keep that in mind) the actual hotel is safe for parking with basic yogurt, coffee and muffins breakfast. The staff was really nice and accommodated anything I needed, plus they keep their laundry room clean. I was able to restocked my room supplies without any trouble and after two weeks they do send housekeeping so that was nice! Overall, I liked my stay and I extended a couple times here.

Extremely noisy. Night 1 person upstairs was walking in heels at 2.30am. Continued for at least 30 minutes. Building fire alarm set off at 5am. Night 2 person upstairs woke me up banging around at 4.30 am. Currently 5.20 and banging hasn’t stopped

It was the bare minimum probably due to trying to protect against theft and abuse of amenities. You had to ask for shampoo for example, and had to get your supplies for the kitchen at the front desk. The breakfast wasn't really a breakfast. There was only one small table. The oranges were good. I did appreciate the coffee. It was smelly in the hallway and the carpet was dirty and worn. It was noisy in the middle of the night. The room was clean. The location of the hotel was great; on the marina and away from alot of traffic noise.

It’s was peaceful

Good location by the marina. Lots of places to shop and eat nearby. Will return when I’m in the area again.

The difference was significant. The additional 20 per night was worth it. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, my shower water had low pressure and was repaired within the first day. The neigborhood is quiet and clean. The staff was very nice and so were the other people who were there. This was a great stay.

What I ddi not like is this, myself I always check the bed for cleanliness of sheets and bed bugs. Almost passed but my wife found a spot that looked like blood. Thats a no go could not change the hotel so had to go down the street and by sheets and light blanket. Now I know better we booked because the hotel was close to the event. Never again back to Marriott Marquis Hotel!

Absolutely NOT worth the nearly $200/ night. Customer service at the desk was rude. I stated that i was disabled and walking was difficult, and all i wanted to take a bath and cook some dinner. They didn't have ANY of the kitchen supplies ready. I was told to wait and they would call me when they were ready. They never called. When I called, i was told to walk back to the desk to pick them up. I also wasn't able to fill the bathtub because there was no stopper. I had ti walk back to the desk to get that. When i picked up my dishes, i had to carry a full dishrack with everything in it back to my room. I got all the way back upstairs before I realized they forgot to give me a fork. Then when i tried to take a shower, i discovered there was no shampoo. Evidently you have to request shampoo, and you guessed it, go back to the front desk to pick it up. As a person with limited mobility, I was very disappointed. When i inquired about them bringing items to my room, they said that was not possible. i was told that this their policy because they don't have enough employees. Definitely will not be staying there again, and I will not recommend it to anyone else either.

Nice people safe area good view

Stayed (1) one night. The (1st) room given to us wasnt ready so we were unexpectedly upgraded to a room with a better view. Marina view. We were thankful. It was quiet and clean. The reviews we read were mixed so we were iffy to try but it turned out good. It was the (Free parking) that drawn us there. The free breakfast was a grab-and-go so please Dont expect much. Just muffins, breakfast bars, coffee, hot choco, banana, orange.

We arrived early and was able to check in early for a fee. Our room was on the first floor and smelt like stale smoke even though the sign on the fridge said smoking is forbidden and there was a fine if caught. The room was clean and adequate for the two of us. There was no amenities at all in the room and the kitchen had nothing in it but could be requested from the front counter. We utilized some cups and cutlery with a dish cloth. There was no dish soap to wash. Every evening the heavy smell of marijuana was prevalent in the hallway and would waft under the door to the point where we would put a towel under the door the hopefully stop it from coming in. We had a three night stay, we were unaware that our room would not be cleaned, at least our towels exchanged. We were close to the front desk to ask for new towels which were handed over with no problems. The breakfast consists of coffee, tea, oatmeal, packaged muffins, Breakfast bars and oranges/bananas. We chose this hotel at the recommendation of the marina as it was in close proximity. The location is excellent with a Safeway, Target and various restaurants within walking distance.

Room was poorly stocked Had to go to front desk forbasic kitchenand bathroom supplies. The compimentrey breakfast was limited to oatmeal and muffins.

We stayed in a handicap access room but the bed was very uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. The view of the water was fabulous.
